My favorite part about this place was the affordable price for an entire meal. Great service and great food.

I had an absolutely amazing dinner at Tijuana Flats tonight. The service was top-notch, with the staff being incredibly attentive and making sure we had everything we needed. The manager, Sam, truly stood out—he was so attentive and created such a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere that made the dining experience even better. The food was served quickly, and every dish was delicious. From start to finish, everything was perfect. Highly recommend!

8/18/2024 UPDATE: I received a call from the manager of the store Robert, he was very understanding and pleasant. Apologized profusely. I am getting a refund for my lunch and a free entrée to try his franchise again. Thank you Robert! My lunch was refunded and I received another call from Sam, letting me know I can pick up my $25 gift card from the cashier anytime, it has my name on it. Thank you! As a local guide for Google I pride myself on fair, honest reviews. I had a horrible lunch experience at this Tijuana Flats location, food and service. They concentrated on online orders over dine in orders causing me to wait 30 minutes for one burrito. When I did finally get the burrito there was nothing in it but beef, rice and beans. No lettuce, cheese etc. (see photos below). The tortilla was also chewy. When I asked I was told “it’s Taco Tuesday and this is how it goes” by a woman employee with a dark haired ponytail. I was completely ignored by her counterpart who had a ponytail with naturally red hair. I would not go to this location. They should really not even have seating! Let them take care of their online orders that are so important! I deserve a refund of $16 since it was a waste of $$ and time! So disappointing!

Tijuana Flats used to be the go-to spot for flautas, chips and salsa, etc. but those days are long gone. Now, thanks to blatant corporate greed, they’ve slashed their portions in half. Seriously, do they think we won’t notice? It’s a total rip-off. Save your hard-earned money and skip this place. They’re cheating you out of the portions you deserve, and it’s insulting. Businesses that think they can pull a fast one on customers like this are doomed to fail, and Tijuana Flats is on a fast track to that fate. What a disappointment.

Service here is second to none. We usually come on Sunday afternoons after church with friends and we always receive superb service. I accidentally forgot my phone and wallet at our table when we left (mom brain is real!) and our server came out running (in the sweltering Florida summer heat) to return it to me. That’s above and beyond, thank you!

Update July 2024: They did a full refresh of the brand a year or two ago and now have a revolving set of menu items. That said, we haven't had a hot meal come out of here in the last 3 or 4 visits spanning this past year. Management is lackluster at best and the staff isn't exactly energetic... Update December 2019. They've cleaned up their act. Food is better, coming out hotter and faster. Front counter is on their game and the table clearing is about the same. Need to keep bringing specials and different items to their menu to spice up the norm and get more repeat family dinner business during the week. Older review of 3 stars November 2018 In general the food is ok and on par with their other locations. I favor other local burritos shops, but this one is good to pick up dinner on the way home. Call it in before you get off the highway though. They take a while to prepare it. Not sure why. Even when it's not busy.

The food presentation sucks and it's cold. The one up the road on 434 does a much better job.

Specifically the Tijuana flats by Wekiva Springs: Called in an order, was told 10-15min on the phone (this was at 8pm on a Sunday). Arrived 8 min after I called. Food was ready 31min after I arrived (39min total). There were 3x other 2 tops dinning in. First time I've been to this location, but every other location has estimated the wait time within 10min, so this was frustrating. Might give this location one more shot b/c love Tijuana Flats. UPDATE: got home and one of my double stack tacos is missing the hard shell, so...add poor attention to detail to slow service now. Steer clear of this location.

Well , it's a Tflats , so not too much different from any other Tflats, but the service is better than average. And as you know the service really is hit and miss , it depends on the store who is working there🤪

This Longwood location has been getting my business for a very long time. However, they seem to be understaffed. Also, the burritos are just all rice and beans. The other ingredients listed just don’t seem to show up in the food.

Torchy's Tacos is where my dispute is...not Tijuana Flats!

I normally dine in and always have a good experience, but I decided to have it Postmated tonight. Not sure what happened, but every time I tracked my order there was a new driver. By the time I saw a third driver on their way to pick up my food I decided to call the restaurant. I spoke to Sam, the manager. He said they prepared the order and it was gone, so he wasn't sure what happened, but he would get it done again quickly for the next driver. It's raining and I'm starving, so I am beyond grateful for how quickly the problem was fixed. Love this location so much ❤️

10/8/2023 Re: TF response. No need to cut and paste. Raising your price on Tuesdays for your Costco Copy Cat sample to $9.99 would resolve this issue. —————————————————————— Way to long to get order. Better off going to the new taco place 1/4 mile down the 434.

I ordered my food at 11:47am and it said the ETA 20 minutes. It is 12:12pm right now and I still do not have my food. The TV said my food was ready even though it was not. When I asked about the status of my food a lady rudely told me that they mark it as ready when it is being wrapped up. The food is good but I did not enjoy the service today.

A nice and somewhat unique place for Taco Tuesday. Dos tacos special for the day. And the sauces are amazing. Service is good, but it is a self serve type establishment.

I was a little skeptical to give TJ another try since a different location was not great, but we were in the area and it sounded good. We were pleasantly surprised and definitely one of their best locations! The restaurant is clean and organized. You feel welcomed as you walk in. The staff is attentive and happy to answer any questions. We got to meet the manager Charles and he was checking on clients and taking orders out as well. The food was good, not only was it made to order but the ingredients were fresh and well balanced. We had the option of having the churro bites made a bit after to make sure they were fresh and they sure were good and taste like a churro! That cinnamon sugar tops the flavor. We will definitely come back when we are in the area. Thank you!

The the hot sauce is great the food is good the big problem is when it gets Busy

Love this location. I get the best service here. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I never feel rushed and always feel welcome. They always get my order correct and it’s always delicious. These days customer service has declined pretty much everywhere, but not here. I keep coming back and always have a great experience. It’s super clean as well. As busy as they get it never looks like it.

Extremely sick after partially eating. We were skeptical about the food and almost immediately we started feeling ill. We stopped eating and moments later we were both vomiting. Our young one was just fine…. She didn’t eat any of it. Door Dash asked for a photo of the bad food. I sent photos of the remnants in my vomit. Waiting for … “someone will call you. “

This location is one of the best places to visit and have some quick access to quality Mexican food that will always satisfy. The churro bites are a delight and any salad will cure that hunger. Be well

Friendly staff at counter explained dishes to us unfamiliar Brits. Veggie options are just refried beans and black beans but food was tasty. Potion size was just right and everything came with nachos, salsa etc. There was plenty of parking, indoor and outdoor seating, and music in background (which cheery staff sang to). The place was clean, we loved our visit her and we will return.

this is the most amazing fast restaurant ever. me and a family member were waiting for our food for about 20 minutes or so and when we got it, because of how long we waited, they gave us free caso! it was absolutely delicious and me and my family eat here at least once a week.

The food is great especially the taco Tuesday specials. The staff is incredibly helpful and polite. The hot bar is wonderful. I just wish they had even more choices. This is a great place for a fast lunch or casual dinner.

For some reason this Tijuana Flats is rarely clean and often gets the order wrong.

I had stopped going to Tijuana Flats as they had seemed to all go downhill. I hadn't been to this one in many years and decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. The service on a Sunday around 11 was excellent. The food was hot and tasty.

This is our 3rd time going to Tijuana Flat, and 1st time at this location. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious, service was on point, Taco Tuesday prices are phenomenal. They have outdoor and indoor dining, which is suitable for the evening weather. Also, another neat thing I noticed was the DoorDash/Uber Eats shelf is off to the side with a TV above it letting customers know what orders are being prepared and what orders are ready. Exceptional job by the staff too, not only did they ask how everything was as usual, they politely reassured and accepted the compliment. 10 out of 10. Thanks.

The manager at this location is the rudest person I've ever dealt with. I've spent thousands of dollars over the years at this Tijuana flats and I will never return. The food is hit and miss and the manager needs customer relations training or be fired! Us customer's are who pay the bills and should be treated as such!

Female at the counter around 3:30pm had an attitude. Order 2 megajuana bowls online for pickup. Upon arrival noticed there was one bag of chips in the bag when I asked about more chips she caught attitude and said well that's because it's half a bag for each so you got a full bag for convenience. Convenience for who? The worker? Cause I did not want to share. A bag of chips with my employee.

Amy she is not friendly at all,I have no clue what’s wrong with her order my food I gave a good tip but no smile no thank you just miserable,you can do better of taking care of your regular local ppl thank u.

INFLATIONS SUX, Use to come here for taco Tuesday, but prices have skyrodketed, and they stopped serving enchiladas which is the only other thing I would eat at TF, staff is very friendly but I won't be coming back

They used to be good. No more tostados or enchiladas, over priced not so great box sangria $5.89, 2 people in our party didn't feel well from the food. Would not recommend. Manager said the food was up to temperature, what does that really mean?! Won't be back.

As usual the food was attractive and well served. The staff was beyond accommodating. The prices are definitely a good value. After many visits to various locations I have yet to be disappointed. All in all a good casual restaurant value

Pro:food served quick and fresh. Con: out of beer listed on board. Entree came with chips but no salsa and when I requested salsa they gave me 2oz container for 2 people. added to make it a meal and received a 3oz portion of white rice and about 2oz of refried bean for an additional 3.29. No hot sauce offered and Dos steak tacos had about 1oz meat on each taco and very bland. I waisted $35 eating Herr. Never again.

Love the remodeled/fresh new look of my local Tijuana Flats! The kids love this place. Always fresh and delicious food! Clean and friendly staff, definitely stop in if your in the area.

I asked for no jalapeños and got jalapeños. I asked for extra sauce and didn’t receive any. The quality was fine as was the portion size.

I'm a big fan of Tijuana Flats, but this location seems to be having some trouble recently. It used to be that my pickup order for Taco Tuesday was 15-20 minutes, but recently it's been 45+ minutes. And the chips are usually stale.

In the last 2 months it seems things are not 5-star anymore. Staff turnover is an issue & staff need training in customer appreciation. Food is still good.

Great service, good food, 4 Stars for the ambiance being too commercialized. Tijuana Flats doesn't have that cozy home town feel anymore.

Most of the time I do not rate chain food places. Turn over and no one really owns them, or do not feel accountable. This location the owner/manager I have seen onsite more than once. It's run right and they care.

Love it. My first meal after arriving in Altamonte. Every time I go I stock on my favorite sauces and buy a huge sweet tea.

I work with Darrey Painting and we're simply just priming a wall so they can get a Muriel done on it. So, I ordered their wings with what's called "bangin" sauce, seriously one of the best wings I've have in a while. Cooked perfectly!!! Awesome job guys!

I ordered chicken Flautas (dairy-free), Food was great, service was amazing, parking was easy, bathrooms were clean and place was nice. My experience coming here today was so pleasant I actually came back for more food. The girl taking my order -Ashley- was so amicable and took my order down so well it was a breeze! (Even remembered my name) With quarantine in place, it's nice to encounter workers who are still willing to serve the general public with a smile on their face. They are wearing masks and have distance requirements for quarantine, which shows they care. They are also selling paper towels, tissue and water bottles for those who might need them.

My absolute favorite place for fresh tex -mex. Authentic and inexpensive fresh food that will make you smile. Friendly staff. I moved north years ago and this place is one of the things I miss the most. Just booked a short vacation back here and this will absolutely be a mandatory stop on my trip

Has Public wifi. The service was fantastic. All the people who served me were extremely polite and professional. Emily who took my order was charming and friendly. The place has a relaxing atmosphere and the food was very good. Prices are very reasonable and they have a fantastic hot sauce bar.

I have eaten at this location many times. The food is good and reasonably priced plus they usually have specials going on during specific days like Taco Tuesday. The reason I love Tijuana Flats is because of their hot sauce bar and how you can cover the food with a sauce. I usually get a burrito covered in queso. I really love the vibe of the place and the murals inside. They also have outdoor seating as well.

Great food, reasonable prices, friendly staff and place is kept clean. They have a sauce bar for your food if you enjoy spicy the sauce bar has it. Also the churros here are great. If you call an order for pickup, just check your bag before you leave and be sure to have the right drinks the place can get busy and handle a lot of orders via pickup. You can get your favorite sauces to go as well.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. Sadly I moved to a state that does not have a Tijuana Flats, so I will definitely be visiting any time I go back! Great food with great prices!

Love the place with my life. I eat here at least 3 times a week and have never had any problems except 1. I’m pretty sure it’s the manager of this location, she got mad at my friends and I for being “rude” to her employees. All the employees here are awesome and I don’t ever recall being rude to them. One of the new employees got mad at us for something that the manager wouldn’t tell us about. I tried apologizing and she pretty much told us she was going to trespass us. I really don’t think that’s right for a manager to tell loyal customers that she will trespass them.

Always enjoy this place. Wish they didn't put cilantro in the guac, though. Gonna stop getting it.
