Awesome live music venue. Friday nights are free to get in and I would suggest you get there early. There are bars both floors which makes it easy to get a drink. Gimme Gimme Disco is a great time

It’s never NOLA trip without a concert at Tipitina’s!! So much fun watching Russell Crowes band! Absolutely incredible experience and ambience.

Seriously one of the best spots in NOLA. The free Friday concerts during the summer are always a highlight, and I also love attending a few shows throughout the year. Just a great time all around. Worth the visit if you’re a local or a tourist! Great drinks, music, people, and an all around great time. Highly recommend!!!

A favorite for locals live music

Exceptional, historic place for music in New Orleans. Great selection of artists, each more talented than the last and super friendly staff. Out of 4 days spent in New Orleans I went there twice and I would have made a third visit if the schedule had allowed it.

Tipitina's is the best music club, in a city famous for music. I've been there hundreds of times, and through every incarnation, from the old low ceiling sweatbox of the late '70's, to the more modern open floorplan that we have today. I used to go to the old 501 Club, before it even was Tip's. I've seen everyone there, from Professor Longhair, to Irma Thomas, to the Fabulous Thunderbirds, to the Meters, and of course my good friends the New Orleans Radiators, who I must have seen 50 times there...

Completely bonkers. I will come back again. Fair prices on drinks.

The institutional new orleans live music venue. I've lost my mind and found my fiance here.

Enjoyed a nice R & B Mini concert here. Kenny Lattimore, Eric Benet, Kevin Ross! The venue is very quaint and cool.

Tipitina’s is one of my favorite music venues in New Orleans. Their free entry on Friday’s during the summer always attract large crowds, and the music is always exceptional. The vibes are always phenomenal, everybody is dancing, and the alcohol isn’t too overpriced. Tipitina’s has never failed to provide an amazing night out. 100% would recommend.

This time of they have a thing called Free Fridays had a great selection of music to go with it

I listened to Trombone Shorty at the best live house. It was a great memory.

TicketWeb is horrible! Get a new ticket provider. All tickets sold out yesterday, when they were supposed to sell at 10AM today. Your ticket system disappointed many of your customers. Guess that’s not important to ownership and management of the venue.

Great atmosphere but way to noise and loud. Could not enjoy the band at 105 dzb.

Came here for a Galactic show near Mardi Gras and what a show! The opening band, the acoustics, and Galactic themselves were phenomenal. Would definitely come back to see others or galactic play again at the venue! Easy to get drinks, fast service.

If you don't already know, I guess y'all ain't from around here.

Great crowd, awesome bands, great lighting, pretty close to perfect acoustics. But hard to stand for hours with absolutely no seats, barstools. Just go out to the smoking sidewalk every now and then for a bench seat, then come back in.

Tipitinas is all about the music. It's set up for great sounds and visuals; just depends on whether you like the band.

Always a good time in the Crescent, especially when you can catch a show inside the hallowed halls of Tipitina’s. Omari Neville, Fuel and Cyril Neville did their thing. “I love to hear them call my Indian Red!”

Great spot, incredible acts, affordable drinks, FANTASTIC PEOPLE WORKING THERE. Do not expect a seated concert. There are a few benches upstairs but none with a view of the stage, this is a standing room GA concert hall. It's the best.

I go to Tipitinas Friday 12/22/23 and got an early Christmas gift COVID! That place is a petty dish and no ventilation people piled in like sardines no open windows! I am sending them my hospital bills if I end up on a ventilator! UGH

One of the great clubs of New Orleans. Professor Longhair greets you at the door. You walk into a club that has so much history. Never a bad show. If you never been there you need to go. And if you've been there you already know.

Some personnel at the club said something to me because I was hollering at the band. I'll never go back to this club again.

What a fun place!! I went on my birthday and didn't say anything until I was leaving which was unfortunate for me. The Bartender introduced me to a NO tradition that I will never forget. Definitely tell them when you get there :)

This is always been one of my favorite venues in New Orleans.

I’m proud to say I’ve been going to this bar for twenty years! Since I was a bright-eyed young teenager using a fake idea to sneak in. (Statute of limitations has expired, correct?) I love that it’s still churning out the same good vibes and fantastic music after all these years. It’s come as you are, share our joy, let’s all have a good time. The fact that all of this can be found without having to traipse down to Frenchman Street? Perfection. We come here every summer and never miss a Free Friday. Keep on keeping on, Tips!

I wish I could give this epic venue for music six stars. I have spent over 30 years going to Tipitina’s and have witnessed some of the most amazing performances from bands and musicians that span the spectrum of funk, soul, R&B, and straight up Rock & Roll. It is an institution and any music lover’s visit to New Orleans should include catching a show here.

Shows are great, crowd is electric, and for the most part staff are friendly and engaging, I'd previously left a lower rating due to an unfortunate situation that occurred, on second thought that isn't really important as I've been to Tips at least a dozen times and love the place, sometimes misunderstandings happen but at Tips what you can count on time after time is excellent shows.

Legendary establishment that deserves every last drop of its reputation. Where else can you see a show like this that starts at 2am?

The single best music venue in New Orleans. Best musicians, best staff, best sound quality, amazing history. It’s out of the way of other areas and no other food/bars really nearby so plan accordingly. You haven’t heard good music until you’ve gotten down to good music here.

Went there for the Shorty Fest and were so disappointed. This is not a right venue for this amount of people to fit in. It was packed and hard to move, leave alone to dance. The scene is relatively low and you can't see the artists unless you are over 6 feet tall. We spent there just an hour, and it meant 20 min of actual music listening, the rest of the time we were watching scene preparations made between the performances. We wanted to return the tickets shocked by the poor level of the organization, but they were not refundable. We left anyway. Unfortunately can't recommend this event, especially for that high of a price. Pretty sad.

I went to Shorty Fest and saw Cimafunk, Tank and the Bangas, Galactic, and Trombone Shorty and it was AWESOME

Can't pass up an opportunity to visit Tipitina's when in New Orleans.
