The best New York style pizza in town.

This place is amazing. Definitely worth checking out. The steak and cheese subs are the best. They also have great calzones Stromboli’s garlic knots and of course the pizza! Huge portions and sizes for good prices I would highly recommend you check them out.

First off this place is a staple of St Petersburg, a must see... Now you are not coming here for the atmosphere or the romantic candle lit tables, you are here cause you want amazing good food... That said the pizza is always top-notch... Their Philly's are pretty stellar as well. Garlic knots a must have.... Walk in, go to the counter, order, find a table up front so you get to see the action... Get your food and thank me later!

For some reason this place isn't what it used to be. I'm not sure if they recently changed managers or owners. The prices keep going up but the food quality isn't getting any better. The atmosphere is great because it reminds me of New York. I'm not a big fan of how they redecorated and put a modern twist on everything it just doesn't feel old fashioned anymore.

This was our first time here as we come to Florida regularly particularly Clearwater to visit family. Upon walking in the door I almost walked out because there was a lot of people waiting but as I sat here after ordering and realizing it moved extremely fast I was happy I didn't walk out. Grab you a seat first get somebody to sit there then get in line trust me it moves fast and they're calling numbers constantly you may not get all your food at the same time typically you will get your garlic knots first and if you order a salad it will be right behind that with the pizza maybe 15 minutes or so. Everybody worked well together it seemed like a nice place and the food was yummy. The antipasto salad was delicious as well. One thing that does irritate me about all places that advertise as New York style is that your pizza is nothing like New York and will never be because you don't have the right water for your dough. I don't mean that in a disrespectful way but if you ever have been to Manhattan you can hold a slice of pie that is significantly larger than these slices and it will stay firm from start to finish and not fold over at the crust. I tried that on this already knowing it wasn't going to do anything and it immediately folded the entire Pizza to where I was holding. That's really my only kickback other than having serious indigestion in the middle of the night afterwards that keep me up for many hours. Should have took me some Tums but don't let that deter you because the place is good.

Best pizza in tampa bay. Been coming here for the better part of 3 decades. When you wanna go out somewhere and have THE best new york slice this is the place to go. Pull up the website on your phone for free garlic knots with a large pie.

They give true meaning to if it isn't broke don't fix it! The energetic staff is usually singing or having a good laugh with the customers and each other. Been here multiple times, great food! The last time we came (about 2 weeks ago) the pizza was the best I've ever had. Not greasy, the undercarriage was crispy 😋 so so good!

Somethings never change and one of them is this St. Pete icon. I will drive out of my way to get an order of garlic knots and some pie. Their subs are spectacular, prices low and just a fantastic value overall.

Uber eats driver here. Came in To pick up order on Saturday July 13 2024 in the early evening. 10 employees in the building and half of them on their phones. Had to wait 15 mintues for a simple order . The girl at the front is rude and needs to do better . There are many better options in the area like Gianni's NY 🍕 which is better and faster with orders and better service.

We have been coming here for over 30 of the 50 years it’s been open. Always consistent and delicious! Many think this is the best Pizza in St. Pete, it’s NYC style Italian. The cheesesteak sandwiches are also delicious! Known for their soft and garlicky garlic knots! The Vitale Brothers have redone their interior and made a cool arcade in the back. Local favorite, everything is good! The large pizza is the size of the table! Service is fast and efficient and they take pride in their best reputation. You can also get a slice of pizza which is huge.

Definitely in the top 5 in Pinellas county.

Like many others I’m sure I’m not the only New Yorker (from NYC not upstate) on a quest for a pizzeria. When you slap on “New York style pizza” in your header I truly expect “New York style pizza.” I have to say you missed the mark, maybe at some point you were but (from my experience) not so much now. Is there truly a spot with real NYC style pizza in this area? How I miss Gino’s pizzeria in Woodside, Queens!

No no no stars if it was possible!! First of all this "IS NOT" N.Y. pizza! It tasted very bland ...the cheese like plastic...and scarce. The crust was petrified to crumbs.I wanted to throw the slice in the garbage!! I took one bite and asked for my money back.And please do not send me a response telling me your sorry.You are a fake!!

WORST PHILLY CHEESESTEAK in Florida. Bread looks like hot dog bread & it’s soggy; it taste like soup nothing like a Philly! Much improvement needs to be done! Never again!

The #14 cheesesteak is the best in town! The bread is soo good- sandwich is so flavorful- just be careful- it is HOT when it is delivered- the cheese pizza is solid- place is a bit cramped but my go to for cheesesteakand pizza

Ordered 2 slices of pizza and an Italian sub… get it home 4 min away, the pizza is cold and cheese is hard, sub had no dressing, no condiments, just dry and gross and bland meat. Will not be back

Went on Saturday round 5:30pm. We went in and ordered to go. We got a large little Italy specialty pizza and garlic nots. The garlic nots were amazing. My only complaint was the pizza was very soggy and slimly. The crust was brunt and the middle was under cooked. I had asked for half to not have mushrooms. However for some reason, they took that as half not having mushroom's, peppers, onion and sausage. I have had there food in the past and never had any issues until recently. I would also add that it would be nice to have a place for people to stand while they wait for the take out. As i felt we were constantly in the way but did not want to take up a table as we were not eating there. But the only way to know if our food was ready was to stand inside and listen for them to call out a number. So we had no choice but to stand in the way of costumers trying to get to order.

What a nice little Italian place that caught my eye when I was walking by. Definitely a taste of Little Italy. The service was fast and the food was amazing.

Ordered from Toby's for the first time and it was OK. I'm not sure how it got this many good reviews and they don't even use real mushrooms. Do better and get rid of canned mushrooms. Paisano's is the place to go for real, authentic pizza.

I just tried this place for the first time and I moved here from Philly 2 years ago, I've tried to get a Philly cheesesteak down here before and I didn't like it, so I haven't bothered to try any other places. Well today I took that risk and I'm so glad I did with this spot. Not only was the gentleman at the counter super nice and friendly, but I just took a bite of my steak sandwich and had to stop to write this review because I'm so impressed. If you're from Philly you know what a steak sandwich needs and this place has it! I'll be coming here from now on when I'm feeling a little homesick!

A friend from New York recommended Toby's Original Little Italy Pizza as one of the best authentic NY pizza places in the bay area. I had a large pepperoni and sausage pizza. It was excellent. So, good that I would put this in the top 3 pizza places in Tampa Bay. No real service to speak of. You order at the counter, seat yourself and pick up your own pie when done. The atmosphere consist basically of a bunch of bench style tables. But, I was not expecting atmosphere, I was expecting good pizza and that is exactly what I got. I will be back for more!

I don't know what the big Rave is about? Obviously these people haven't eaten New York Pizza it's way overrated but the atmosphere is nice it's also very hectic. The slices are thin and quite greasy. I asked for a crisp slice so it came burnt.

A large pizza, with bacon and pepperoni. The crust and bottom was very hard. Very disappointed with this pizza. I've had slices from here that was soft and good. That you have to hold with 2 hands. Very very disappointed. $21.50 I would have expected this pizza if it was a $7.00 pizza.

Wow, what a find! This is some of the best pizza I've ever had. The ingredients are fresh and delicious, the pizza came out super hot and very tasty. I burned the roof of my mouth on mine and when my dentist saw the burn @ my visit, I promptly told her it was worth the pain and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again 🤣. Will definitely be back next time we're in St. Pete!

Great food served hot and fast. The prices are very fair too. They really need better utensils though! The forks bend and the paper plates need an upgrade. I’d gladly pay another ~$1 for a better plate or better yet a real plate 😊

Highly recommend! Best pizza we've ever had! Garlic knots are tasty too! Toby's was recommended to us so we went before a high school baseball game. Add extra time because this place runs well but it's VERY busy! It's very good pizza!

Pizza is mediocre... because we are in Florida it is passable. The cheese steaks are legit. The lady that does the calling of numbers on nights is rude and lacks couth. Couldn't even pretend to have any class or manners. I will not return.

I ordered delivery and I am extremely disappointed in the quality downgrade of what is obviously a change of recipe. What used to be a notable excellent Italian pizza so no longer…the crust tasted like white flour, the sauce was bland and it was nowhere near the pizzas I used to order for over 30 years. Shame on you for downgrading your recipe. I will never order from this restaurant again.

This is a nice spot for good pizza. The cheese is real, and the pepperoni is greasy :) We got a supreme, a pepperoni, a white plane, 2 cheese calzones, and garlic knots. There was plenty of leftovers even after me and 3 growing boys attacked it all. The pies are huge! Large lives up to its name. The crust is nice, easily foldable but solid enough to eat without folding, so choose your way. The supreme was my favorite, but the others referred the calzones. One did straight cheeses, another did with onions and garlic.
