Good tamales but the Fort Worth location needs to update their hours on Google. Made a bit of a drive over there only to find out they’re closed on Sundays (they were the only location that said they were open on Google).

The tamales were WONDERFUL! My husband and I got the Hatch pork and Hatch chicken. They were so good. The rice and charro beans were delicious too. Our only complaint was that the red sauce the served with it was very watery tasting. That need to be worked on if it is freshly made in house everyday, as we were told.🌮🫔

My personal opinion… not like original tamales the chicken looks kind of weird…

The food is great here. I’ve been here a few times. It’s very convenient too since I live so close. My only real complaint their hours. They don’t open til 10an so no breakfast. And they close so early at 8pm. Once my kids extracurricular activities are over they are closed on the way home. I end up driving somewhere out of the way just to get dinner this nights. If they extended hours to 10pm like most other restaurants and eventually opened for breakfast I’d spend a lot more money there.

I hardly leave reviews but this place is phenomenal. Friendly staff and the service was fast. Told myself during my break I'm going to only eat one and ended up eating all 6. I will be back just next time I think I'll get the dozen.

We really enjoyed the taste of the food here including the pork tamales, rice, refried beans, salsa and queso. It was all very good and the portions were large. Owners are attentive and focused on a positive customer experience. This location is small but perfect for pickup. We look forward to returning regularly.

I ordered chicken tamales, and chicken quesadillas with cherry salsa. Omg it was delicious. I definitely recommend this place. Customer service was great too. Check it out.

I stopped in for lunch one day not long after they opened. They had a pretty limited menu, but I wanted tamales anyway so that wasn’t an issue. As I recall, I got a couple of tamales along with beans and maybe rice. The tamales were good, the rice I have no recollection of, but the frijoles were AWFUL! I don’t know if they were experimenting with new things or what, but they had something mixed in with the beans…I think it may have been capers, but I’m not sure. Whatever it was, it was enough to steer me away from going back again. That said, they’ve gotten a lot of great reviews since then so I can only assume they’ve abandoned their quest to reinvent the refried bean.

First time coming in here and all I have to say is holy cow this food is absolutely amazing and everyone was amazing

Only $9.20 with tax for 6 delicious tamales! The manager was very insightful about dietary restrictions and I had many tamale options being GF/DF! There is limited seating.

We picked up 2doz tamales for our family Christmas dinner and was amazing. Recommend 100%. Very excited to go back and have lunch.

To be totally transparent, I went in to get a frozen order of their Tamales which I plan to eat on Christmas Eve…..however I was hungry so I tried the burrito. It was not a wise choice. This burrito is impressive in size but was filled 90% with unflavored rice with a little sauce covering for color, there was a minimal amount of pork which was diced. (When have you ever NOT gotten shredded pork from a Tamale place?) there was maybe a spoon full of refried beans at the very end of the burrito. It had a mild brown sear on it but I only lived about 7 minutes from the store and I had to heat the burrito by the time I got home because it was stone cold coming from the inside. I certainly hope the Tamales are better and the pork is shredded.

This is the BEST salsa in DFW. I came by yesterday to grab a late lunch in the area and will continue to come back. The guy working the drive thru was so friendly, and the tamales are divine.

My first time trying the tamales. I ordered the pork and they were delicious! The young man working the front counter was very helpful. There are four tables available to dine in. This location also has a drive-thru. I will be back!

Tommy Tamale opened by my home not too long ago and we have ordered twice. Good food and fast service! I got the Frito Tamale Pie tonight with a chicken tamale and hatch pork tamale. That was OMG delicious!!!! I was only able to eat half and am excited to finish it at lunch tomorrow!

We live nearby and my husband brought some home for lunch and another day for dinner. We had pork and beef and it’s sooo good. I crave. It all the time now. I always tell my hubby to get more salsa because they don’t give enough.

Great staff and amazing tamale. It's a recipe for success. I've tried every tamel on the menu, and all of them are amazing. I do recommend the Hatch chili if you're looking for something to try. My whole family is addicted to this place after I brought them home so

These are the best Tamales I've ever had. The chicken Tamales are awesome and I also bought the peach salsa before I left. This was a great place to grab lunch.

First time here but definitely not the last. Excellent little out of the way tamale shop. Got a dozen (6chicken, 3 pork, 3 habanero pork) tamales for $15. Not a bad deal. Daughter had inhaled one before even got home and we were down another 2 before could even take a picture. All of them had good flavor and habanero pork had a nice kick. Absolutely recommend giving this place a try.

Tamales are amazing. Staff is extremely nice. Would highly recommend. They do have some options for those with dairy allergies/vegan.

The food is great! They could improve the air conditioning. It was hot and would have been more enjoyable. Great option if you want to take it home instead of eating there. We'll definitely be back soon.

Glad to have this place close to North Fort Worth and not having to drive all the way to Grapevine. Great tasting tamales, quick & friendly service and relatively affordable, given how expensive everything is getting these days with inflation. Tried the vegan bean, pumpkin and chocolate tamales, and everything tasted good. Would definitely recommend to anyone 😀👍

We've ordered takeout from here twice since they opened. The service is fast, the food is delicious (and prepared as ordered), and the price is right. My kids are athletes and they eat A LOT! They ordered burritos and struggled to finish them. They ate themselves into food comas. My husband and I ordered the Tommy Bowls and we really enjoyed those. Lots of complimentary flavors and textures to make your palate happy. It is so wonderful to have another food option close to home that doesn't require us to get on the highway.

Love the food. I understand everyone needs time off. But we need you on Sundays..

The food was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I immediately texted some of my friends and let them know that the tamales were legit. I even got a to go order to take home for later, and maybe share if there are any left!

Went in for the first time yesterday. Staff was friendly and helpful and the service was quick! Food was awesome also and tamales were excellent. Very pleased and glad to finally have some food close by!

I’m so glad Tommy came to Haslet! Been eating at the 3 other location as we drive by them…but now ones by the house! The Tommy bowl will fill any hungry belly, best version of frito chili pie ever and sometimes just a solid tamale and beans will do the trick. Either way, great gem and great owners.

We went to the new location in Saginaw. And man what a great experience. The food was amazing and we met Tommy. He is a great guy and runs a great place. We would recommend you check this place out!

The best and a must try! I have ate here many times and I am never disappointed and will keep going back. This is one of my favorite restaurants and I would eat here daily if it was healthier! The first time I went here I wasn’t expecting much being a “faster food” tamale restaurant but I fell in love after my first bite! The taste and flavors here make it a one of a kind and I recommend it to anyone and every who asks for the best place to eat in the area. I do not think you can find a better restaurant for under $10 a meal, or even under $20 a meal!
