If you don't mind great food without great atmosphere.This place is the best. Not a lot of bells and whistles, but the food is exquisite.

We've been coming to Toro sushi since my children wore infants. Now we go as a large family and we've come to know Tony and his restaurant. I highly recommend.

OMG!!! I love, love, love this place. If you've never tried Japanese foods, sushi, tempura, teriyaki, etc. My absolute favorite go to is their Asian Style General Tso's with Chicken. I must go-to. I highly recommend them!!

Toro sushi is the absolute best sushi place you can go to. It’s a little small hole in the wall place but they have such fresh and delicious sushi and rolls, I try to get lunch there at least every other week it’s so good and they are reasonably priced too. Highly recommend!!!!!

The only thing that I noticed was that the place was really quiet. If there was some music playing in the background, it might have been nicer. The food was very fresh and there was a lot. The diners we had included soup and salad.

Service was not good. There was only 2 other groups of people there in which were being served too. We were there for probably like 2 hours just for one small app and simple small sushi rolls. Quite a bit seemed cold ish. Wouldn’t recommend but it’s whatever anyone else likes.

The sushi is very good for the area. Takeout is the way to go at this location. The table service doesn't seem to be a popular option. We were alone the entire time. Half the dining room is used for storage, and it seems the staff isn't used to people dining in. The timing between courses wasn't ideal.

Great place! It really surpassed out expectations (which doesn't frequently happen in restaurants). I definitely recommend it. We got the Toro Boat (notice the photo) it really is good for two persons.

Incredible. I always get the maki combo and out-of-control roll and it has never failed me. It’s so much food for a good price. I would buy almost every week during the pandemic and my mental health depended on it.

Toro Sushi offers a very high quality japanese food.

Try the peppered tuna appetizer. I promise you it is the best you have ever had. Tony and his family work so hard to make the best sushi. They are a great family, and they work very hard to make sure that you enjoy your meal. You don’t need to go to New Haven or NYC for great sushi. Also, kani salad is great. If you want to try something new get the Sako roll. It’s shrimp tempura in a roll topped with spicy lobster. Nothing beats Toro.

Their sushi is just ok. Their seafood, avocado, and veggies aren't fresh and it is definitely noticeable when you take a bite.

The best sushi in CT. The people are great and their lunch special is a good deal. They only do take out, but you can call ahead if you want to dine in!

This is hands down the best sushi around and probably that I've ever had. You need to try their sushi specifically from the specials wall. Their rolls are unique and there literally isn't a bad one on there! Been going for years and will always be a loyal customer!!

If you want good sushi, this place has it. I can only speak to the takeout given the circumstances but the food is always really tasty and good quality as well as ready quickly. I've also had their pork katsu and enjoyed that a lot too. I haven't sampled their whole menu but this is our go-to given its quality and proximity. Would definitely recommend. Note: their original Google page vanished and they lost all their reviews.
