Fun place tucked away in the country.

Went for the fish fry. Got the beer battered which was super crispy and delicious. Piping hot too. Great sides as well. Bartender was doing tables and gave us great service. Highly recommended! Get there early if you want fish. Sold out just after we got ours.

Just really need to update your hours

I was there on a Wednesday evening, which is "Burger night". Coincidentally, I was in the mood for a burger! It's one of the best burgers I've had in a long time and the onion ring were excelent too! The place was busy but I was waited on quite fast, I felt. My order arrived soon after my beverage. I was quite pleased with the service and food. The atmosphere was quite typical for a bar and grill it seamed. Everyone was friendly.

I 've eaten a lot of food from the tavern and today the wings my wife and I got from there were terrible . They were dry due to being over cooked . The celery was good but the blue cheese was bad . I know that the tavern can do better than that and has always but something about today was really off . I thought about calling but that would make me out to be the bad guy out here in our neck of the woods . I hope in the future they do better and in their defense the cook didn't seem to be paying very much attention as to what was going on in the kitchen anyway .

This is a friendly place where everyone knows your name. I came from out of town because my wife grew up here and I figured I’d check it out. I can see why this place is so popular. Good times. If I’m back in the area I’ll be back for sure.

Nice bar with a huge selection of drink offerings. The food menu has lots of options as well. I got a burger and it was very good! I would come back

Tavern burger with beer battered fries. SOO GOOD. But the meat lovers pizza…now that’s the ooey-gooey meal that you only dream about..loaded with meat.

I am originally from the Southern Tier but left thirty years ago. While home for the holidays I asked who was serving up the best wings these days, Elbow Room or Bernie Murrays, I was surprised to hear both places have fallen and are hit or miss at best. A friend said, its a drive but try the Town Tavern so my wife and I went and found the pub, the atmosphere was ok, lots of people having fun. There was a GREAT BAND playing called Major Big Time and they really rocked the house and had people dancing and drinking up. We came for the wings and ordered, I got dozen with the house sauce and my wife was tempted by the Bacon Double Burger. After a short wait the food arrived and oh... my.... gawd..... the wings were absolutely HUGE and meaty (the Cincinnati area could learn a lesson or two here) and cooked to crispy perfection, the house sauce was amazingly good, not too sweet, not too hot but they found the spot right in the middle and it was absolutely delicious. My wife loved the double bacon burger, saying the patties were perfectly cooked and the bacon was exceptional. I highly recommend the Town Tavern, it is absolutely delicious food served with a smile. On my next trip to visit family, I know where I am going for a plate of wings.

Pizza and boneless wings are excellent! They give you a large cup of bleu cheese - probably about 1/2 cup of it, unlike the tiny little cup that's half full that other places give you. I do wish they'd consider doing some combo deals - say 1/2 dozen wings and a medium 1 topping pizza for $20 or something.

The food was great! I had grilled cheese with fries, the bread was delicious and the shoe string fries delish, nice staff, and we played darts , there was a pool table.

Food was excellent! The best food I've had in a long time. I ordered a chicken parm sub, and cheesy bread. I'm so full I can barely type this review.

JD and his staff are awesome. Kitchen is incredibly clean and food is always great. JD goes above and beyond to make sure everything is right. We go there often and have always been more than satisfied with service and quality! Highly recommend giving JD's a try if you haven't.

Pizza was good and delivered in good time, but the price was Way too high for what we got. 22 bucks for a 16 inch pizza. Crazy.

We love this place! We have lived in Erin for almost 3 years now and have tried most of the menu! Whether its to go or to dine in, we are always more than satisfied and have never been disappointed. When guests are in town, always enjoy a meal with them at the tavern as well! None of them left disappointed either and when they come back they look forward to another meal there! Absolutely worth the stop!!!!! Thank you JD and team!

JD is a stand up guy. Hard to go wrong with $5 burger night and the fish fry is fantastic. Throw in some cold drinks and how can you go wrong?
