Avoid this location at all cost. Always understaffed. This place needs more employees, or to change the time when the order is going to be ready. Placed an order at 12:11 said it would be ready at 12:21, and when I walked in I still had to wait almost 10 mins.

Too many ice chunks in my smoothie blend it up better next time🫠

I want to give a shoutout to Jordan and the other young man who was working with him this evening, whose name I didn’t catch. They were stars with customer service. Very nice and helpful. They went above and beyond, thank you guys!

I always order through the app, they give me a promise time, and it’s almost always never on time. However, the food is good, the staff is friendly, and they get the order right. I wouldn’t normally leave any review but I was just waiting for an additional 10 minutes and it would have been longer if I didn’t inquire about my smoothie. This has happened enough times for me to be annoyed enough to leave a review.

Very kind workers, just my smoothie had literally inch long banana chunks. I’ve worked at a smoothie place before it’s really not that time consuming to keep it blending for an extra ten seconds😭they were literally empty when I ordered.

Ordered on their website and only got my smoothie, not my food. Tried calling the store to see what happened, but just rings and then got the fax signal. Can't leave my work to go get my wrap if it was made, which was the point of ordering delivery. So I paid $20 for a smoothie to be delivered it seems. Delivery driver was no help. I texted when I went to down to get it and she just said sorry that what they handed me, no offer to go check for the rest of the food.Can I get a refund?

I ordered online through their website -which wants you to download the app- (like everywhere) it was - easy- fast & always delicious. They now offer a few different ~bowl~ options and they are amazing! Should have offered sooner! I also choose tropical smoothie over somewhere like smoothie king b/c they offer wraps/flatbreads/quesadillas/sandwiches- delicious options for breakfast lunch dinner or in between- even kids meals- We will be back- love you guys 💙

Worst experience only two people working, took them over 5 minutes to come to us, ordered two bahama mama smoothies and a wrap, waited almost 30 minutes, the place was not busy at all when we got our smoothies and they are wrong, theres bananas in this and it was literally straight liquid not a smoothie, I couldn’t get my drinks remade because of the wait for the two I was late to work. No manager to be seen. I want my money back

This place needs more employees, or to change the time when the order is going to be ready. As far as I can see there were only two workers in the back, a guy walked in to place an order and he wasn’t greeted for about 10 mins.

Dakilya and Altonio were absolutely pleasant to deal with. Food was on point and service was too. 3rd time here and all staff friendly and easy to deal with.

i’ve been going to tropical smoothie for 7 years (and worked at a diff location in 2016) and i just had the best chia banana smoothie i’ve ever had in my life at this location. whoever was making smoothies at 2 pm on 9/14 deserves a raise

This particular location is one to avoid. I do not like leaving bad reviews but to anyone who it may concern: for the sake of your valuable time and mental sanity, do NOT try coming here especially around lunch time. Most employees on shift are rude and lazy while one star employee hustles / rushes around to get everything done. When they get slammed, they get overwhelmed and hide in the back. Realistically, the solution should be to temporarily turn off the UberEats, DoorDash, etc apps so to properly assist the valuable patrons that are waiting in-person. This review is not coming from a one-time experience either and I’m sure many people who live/work around this location concur. Only reason it’s not a one-star is out of sympathy for the manager who I’ve seen in the recent bad reviews; who seems to care at least enough to read these reviews and try to address them. I hope that they and any other stand-out employees can improve. When that happens, I’ll update my rating.

I’ve walked in here the past two days in a row and no one ever comes out. There was a sign saying there was only one person working but I don’t know how the owner can have this be a profitable business when the front is left completely empty with no one monitoring it. I understand being short staffed but at this point it seems like a huge liability!

How can this place be in such a good spot and have the worst customer service. It's the only smoothie place in this area, and I walk in and wait at the counter and no one ever comes out! There is a girl sitting down who was there before me, she was told to wait because there is only one person working- I looked at the screen and there is only one order on the screen and no one is even there preparing it. I'm in the hospitality industry and I believe this is as bad as it gets.I just left as this is sadly a common occurrence at this spot. Maybe I should open my own smoothie spot here and win all this residential business...

Okay smoothie but homegirl in the mornings has an ATTITUDE maybe she can switch it up when coming to work. Ordered a wrap, soggy and too much sauce so I came back and ima have them make me another one. Scratch that, ordered a Buffalo chicken. No lettuce hardly any chicken and MOSTLY sauce! Visiting from Vegas I’m pretty disappointed especially having to go out of my way and pay for another wrap when I should’ve just got my money back.

The shake are ok but i guess the workers dont care and they give you the wrong things,so if your broke and just stand there they will give you someone else is food and shakes cause there is no organized service there

30+ min wait for a smoothie and sandwich when there wasn’t anyone in line before me. Not the workers fault, she was completely alone on a Saturday morning. If you’re having such bad staffing issues then you need to turn off your online ordering system and serve the customers in your store.

great smoothies and quick service

The gentleman working tonight deserves to be a supervisor or have some role in management. Despite working by himself he was very respectful and prompt with making our order. I’ve been to this location before (resident at Waterview) and have tried my best to avoid it based on prior experiences but tonight was a good experience. My girlfriends smoothie was amazing and my wrap was just as good. To the owners, get that man some help and give him a promotion with a raise!

Came at 9:10 am and they were closed. Supposed to be open at 9 am.

2/12/2023 Hours of operation say open Sunday at 9:00 a.m. I got there at 9:00 a.m. It was not open. I tried calling the number it says it's out of service. Is this location even still open?

My husband and I had a coupon for a smoothie, but we decided to get something to eat as well. When we wanted to put in our order ,we were told "sorry I'm by myself and I only can make smoothie 's." really? He hat a costumer sitting in there eating a sandwich. I understand how it is to be short handed, but I had the feeling he just don't want to make sandwiches. 2 stars only for the smoothie

I just recently started coming to tropical smoothie for lunch. I never knew they had food. Surprisingly the food is amazing. I love the wraps and even the quesadillas. It’s a little far from where I’m usually at but definitely worth coming to get that Caribbean jerk chicken wrap!

The food was disgusting, the worst wrap and the presentation of the quesadilla was awful, not even cut. The smoothie was sweat down. I wasted my money with this location. They weren’t even busy. I work in a restaurant and I know you guys can do better.

I got two smoothies today with peanut butter. While my boyfriend's was fine mine was watered down and was missing peanut butter when I called to get a partial refund for my smoothie...the number doesn't work...

This was my second time walking in and ordering to-go at this particular location. Similar to my first experience a year ago, service was very slow. I understand that it has been hard for every industry to find & keep good help. The lobby was full of people waiting on walk-in and online orders. What bothered me the most about this visit was the Manager was too busy chatting with someone to step in and help. As I was leaving I found out the person the manager was chatting with was one of the owners. One or both of you should have stepped in to help the 2 gentlemen working it the back. Shame on you. The smoothies were great as always and the salad was ok. I think I'll stick with the wraps though.

The woman at the counter was great and informative, but I was skipped twice and so was another man next to me... it took me about 20 minutes to get in and out . There was a young due that had the largest hikie I've ever seen on his neck n his hair was all out of the net, he called people names very low n when they didn't answer he would kinda just leave it on the counter. Sorry guys

I didnt get the full experience as I didn't order any of their food, but the smoothies my friend and I ordered were great. And their prices for smoothies are pretty cheap

I think you need to put the right prices on your menu, not to mention the guy behind the counter has a real attitude

Ordered Jetty punch with a buffalo chicken wrap and chips. Smoothie was ok, a bit watered down, not much flavor, but the wrap was terrible. Very wet, way too much buffalo sauce, messy wrap, not much chicken at all, but the chicken that was inside I spit most of it out because it was fatty and grizzle like pieces. Barely ate half the wrap but I opened up the other half just to show you what it look like inside.Cost me about $13-14 dollars. I think I know why it was empty inside and I was the only customer. I barely just paid and my smoothie and food was in my hands already as if , not accusing, they had already made it but someone changed their mind. Please try to be better at least so I don’t have to always drive to park blvd and 66th.

Went with friends their into the Smoothies and Wraps. I'm vegetarian so Wraps are out for me. Was told they can do a Cesar Salad without Chicken. Was Simply Terrible! Served a Big Bowl of Dull Lettuce and 3 half slices of tomatoes and Cesar dressing in cup. That'sss it Folks!! I could have drank a glass of water instead what I half ate. Mind you plastic fork an knife. I was Charged for Full Amount even without the Chicken..Wrong..Just so Wrong! Atmosphere was not to my liking. No Thank You*.. Won't Be Back!!!

Terrible service!! Tried to order through the app and the wrong location was selected. Their phones don't work so you can't call to cancel and the app doesn't allow you to cancel an order. I was told that I have to eat the cost from the owner Alexi. It is stores such as these that hurt the Tropical Smoothie Franchise.

If I could give them negative stars I would. 40 mins waiting for a smoothie and sandwich. Avoid this place at all costs

Delicious! I love all of the fresh options. Everything they have is good. I haven't had one thing I didn't like so far. Perfect when you want a homemade salad without the homemade.

I loved how clean and bright the location is. The lonely employee was waiting on 3 people. *Really?! It's breakfast time and there's only one employee!* The Detox Tropical Smoothie had almost no flavor, though thankfully I did taste the ginger. The Jerk Chicken wrap tasted nice, but as a Jamaican I wish the restaurants who want to serve "jerk" knew what it taste like! 😡 There was NO SPICES! NOT EVEN THE TASTE OF BLACK PEPPER! 😳 REALLY?! The sauce and pineapple made the wrap sweet! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Please STOP False Advertising! Making Americans think Jerk it's something it's not! 😡 🙄 I don't know why I expected something better 😞

It’s always an awesome Smoothie experience at the Tropical cafe. I learn’t this place quite recently during my visit to St. Pete’s, and was impressed with the wide variety of Smoothy and food options. This location is clean and people our welcoming. Nice clean restrooms as well. The add-one’s such as protein, fat burners, fresh ginger were a great touch to their smoothy options.

Had the Peach favorite with added ginger ... Ginger was good but hardly any peach flavor at all. Mostly tasted like a frozen ginger ale. Not BAD but.. was hoping for more.

Friendly service and great food and smoothies!

The staff was very courteous and helpful. Their service was also exceptional especially during lunch hour where they were really busy. My group and I were very satisfied with the quality of food as well as the serving size. The food portion size was enough for a quick lunch and one wouldn't need a doggy bag for left overs. The smoothies we great as well, can't go wrong there. Overall, a satisfying experience.

I love the Chia Banana Boost with Peanut Butter! I get it every day at work for my lunch break. Everything I've tried here - wraps, bowls, flatbreads, sandwiches, etc., have all been excellent. The smiling faces of the employees and their attentiveness to their customers is exceptional. This is my favorite lunch spot by far in the area! A+
