Walmart Supercenter in St. Petersburg - Phone Number, Reservations, Reviews

No one works here, and they don't answer their phones. Came to buy a pocket knife from sporting goods with my son. Saw the knife in the locked case. Tried to find any Walmart employee to page for sporting goods. There wasn't one single Walmart employee in the entire North end of the store. Found someone in the customer service area who pages for me. Waited about 15 minutes. Went over again. She pages the two people with keys by name. No one comes for another 15 minutes. I've been at the store for 40 minutes. I left without purchasing. Also there's an 8” filet knife left out unpackaged at the sporting goods desk. I'll bet it's still there for any child interested. Almost forgot, I was calling the store number during the half hour wait. No one answered the phone the entire time.

This store has some of the laziest staff I have ever seen. The management is also useless. They have no customer service hours listed. And the manager Willie looked annoyed when he had to come out of his office and then would not do a return because he said customer service does not open until 7:30. I don't understand how a manager can be in the customer service area yet. Refuse to help a customer.

It's OK seems like there always out of stock on a lot of stuff. Sounds like a management problem

I use Walmart on a weekly basis for delivery. This particular visit, I had an appointment to get my daughter's cars oil changed. 1 3/4 hours. One clerk to help . I got there early and was told I had to wait 13 minutes before I could be checked in. ??? At that 14 min mark apprched and asked to be checked in. Another customer was already talking to sells person about tires. Ignoring me when I had a walking cane due to back issues. If the clerk didn't talk about his myself so much about being all and knowing all, I'm sure all there would have been acknowledged. Another couple sitting with me was over 2 hours for a battery change. I offered to install it for them, lol. This place needs a secret shopper. Horrible experience 😞

I’ll try to keep this simple and get to the point. The overall shopping experience here is okay best. My problem is that I’m tired of coming in looking for items and shopping as a customer just to be cut off by your Walmart spark drivers packing their deliveries. I get they work for you too but I am a paying customer as well bringing profit to your establishment. The least they could do is respect the customers. You guys seriously need Apple Pay because nobody uses Walmart pay I’m literally telling you this because it’s true. Lastly I don’t bother to shop here anymore because the employees that stand at the entrances treat you like you are a damn thief. I spend my hard earned money I don’t need an associate keeping me up to check every single item on the receipt when they have cameras watching my every move especially at self-checkout. I will do my shopping at Publix where they treat you like a customer instead of a proposed thief.

Came to this Walmart Jewelry section to get my watch battery changed! No one there? Paged for a Customer Service Rep three times and waited 27 minutes, went to customer service desk and they told me! A supervisor was not available to speak to a lead! He was useless because he has no authority or any clue who’s covering Jewelry? Another representative said that the person who covers the department was at lunch and she has the keys to all of the counters and shelves! Unacceptable!! 32 minutes passed to no avail… Horrendous!

I love checking out Walmarts when I'm traveling. I like to see all the different brands and packaging and am definitely always interested in seeing how well every other store is stocked compared to North Dakota. It was clean, bathrooms were clean, and tons of different products.

I went to this Walmart because the supercenter in Pinellas Park had mechanical issues with their equipment to put the size tires I ordered through the Walmart site on. I made a 7 am appointment on Sunday for a Tuesday appointment. I arrive on time & wait 20 mins along with 3 other gentleman before we can get someone in the auto care center to check us in. About 5 minutes later one of the technicians come in & tell me they can't put my tires on because the lift is broken! A call the day before would have been appreciated so I didn't waste my time & could have made other arrangements with another shop to get them put on. After reading other post about extremely long wait times it may have been a blessing.

This is a very nice, well organized store. It was very clean. Everyone was very friendly. It seems like the price in here is pretty fair compared to other Walmarts in which I have shopped. It was easy to get in and easy to get out as far as parking and it felt like a pretty safe area. The bathrooms during my visit were also extremely clean which is sometimes not found at Walmart. I would definitely shop here again.

I enjoyed getting carded 7 days after my 60th birthday. Do I really look like a teenager? Or have they been harassing the employees. For pete sake lighten up.Is Florida becoming a police state?

There are some AMAZING people that work here. Like one of the cashiers, Jackie. She is so sweet and so helpful. She absolutely loves her job. And she is soooo funny too. I give her individually 5 ⭐️’s. But some of their departments close WAYYY too early because they don’t have the staff to keep them open. The Money Center seems like it is closed more often than it’s open. The liquor store sometimes closes at 6PM, when they’re supposed to be open until 10PM. Some of the staff walks around with the industrial size carts or even sometimes with nothing at all, and they have no regard for others around them. They’ll cut you off, even if you’re in a wheelchair. But there’s some amazing people that work there too.

They were out of bags and everyone had to buy Walmart bags to put our stuff in

I shop here on a weekly basis, last week I had a cart full of items (about $200 worth of stuff)..I did not use self checkout..while my boyfriend and I were about to leave he realized he dropped something while shopping so he went to retrace his steps while I headed out to the car..I was stopped at the door and asked to show my Receipt..my boyfriend had it in his pocket so I was forced to stand at the door with my cart until my boyfriend returned..I tried explaining to the man at the door that I just paid for everything at the cashier and pointed to the lady that rung me up but all he did was shake his head no..

This Walmart has the worse customer service I’ve experienced in a while. I wanted to pick up a pregnancy test, but they are locked behind glass with the condoms and sex toys. Not a problem. I called the Customer service desk and after 3 mins someone finally picked up and paged someone to come unlock the glass. 10 mins pass and no one showed. I found an employee and she asked if they paged someone, which I informed her they did 10 mins ago. She had another person paged. While waiting I talked to 3 employees who informed me that someone should normally be in that section. I continued waiting and after 28 mins another employee comes over and asked if they paged someone. I told him it had been almost 30 mins and he informed me that it could take up to an HOUR. At this point I’m very upset because why would it take that long in a store full of people working. Tired of waiting I asked if he could climb to the overstock on the top shelf and grab one of the tests in the security containers he did and I was on my way after a 33 minute wait! Walmart needs to do better, after my long wait a manager should’ve been notified but nope.

If you make an appointment for the tire service, when you get there they will tell you that they "tried calling you" but they're closing early.

Falsely accuses customers of stealing when cameras prove otherwise. Beware of buying electronics here. They do not check what is in them and if box is open/has no tape check it before leaving. Someone swapped a product on a modem we had purchased and it didnt work when we tried to connect to our new ISP. "Manager" claimed it was from 2021 but box was 2024 and accused us of stealing when we had purchase proof. Reviewed cameras on us as well. Horrible employees and incompetent.

Walked around for a couple of minutes looking for a machine that would accept cash.... I was directed to a self-checkout that indicated it accepted cards only. When attempting to finish my transaction the machine gave me change but I was shorted $2. When I brought it to the attention of the associate she printed a receipt and turned and walked away to the customer service desk.... Confused, I followed. Another associate there said no one had the key and that I would have to wait. I was late for work so I could not do so. Keep your $2. Ridiculous

Ordered tires online, made the mistake of them being delivered to different store. But I drove the extra miles to 34th st, st. Petersburg. Got there, I was told they were running behind . Appt was at 3 pm., they got done at 5:40 pm. I don't know if it was a good job, but it was SSlloowww!!!!!

Don't order for pickup at this location. Use 34th St N instead. I waited 20 minutes and there weren't any other cars waiting. The attendant wasn't using the app and only came outside if you knocked on the door.

Long lines in self checkout, no chaier lines open, money Services close, so have to go through customer service long lines, just bad all the way round, having to wait so long. Not good for business.

Good stores. Good prices but not enough employees and very few registers opened. Have to do self check out often. I don't appreciate that I have to do their employee’s work. I'm not Wal-Mart's employee to be doing that. Give me a 50% discount at least if I need to charge my self and pack my own items!!! Hire more and friendly helpful and efficient staff and open more registers. You are losing quality customers. Thanks!

I usually don't shop at this Walmart, nor will I ever again. Not enough employees to cover customers & customer service. I stood in line with 4 people & I had 6 items. About 45 minutes later, I finally got to check out. People were angry & kept complaining. Not a good environment.

For a Walmart the store has a great layout. Also opened up a wellness center. I prefer this Walmart. I'm not a huge shopper of the company but toothpaste, deodorant, etc. Can't beat the price.

Very clean and organized and nice selection. The self check out cashier, Jackie, with blonde gray hair was hysterical and should be on comedy central. Even if you don't need anything from Walmart it's worth stopping in there just the type of Jackie because she'll put a smile on your face.

I love walmart I do live on Southside so u can choose 1 that's down 34 and and rite before the mcds for got what road that was but the 1 on central always has full shelves good store n the check yourself out lines work so much quicker I hate being in walamrt for a long time this solved my prob

BEWARE!!!! Last time I took my car for oil change I got treated like garbage. Told the supervisor about my experience and now changing oil somewhere else to discover that they sabotaged my oil drain plug with thread locker. NEVER BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!!!

Again, Walmart buys from Tyson Co. The chicken thighs on the bone with skin for deep frying, has been expertly cut out the choice flesh inside and wrapped them up with so much skin that I cannot buy this item again. If I am buying at top purchase dollar, why should I be treated so very ruthlessly just to put food on the table?

Always find what we came to buy. Best prices and selection around. Bought art supplies which were exactly what I was looking for. Best prices on these items also.

Except for a slow checkout process, everything here was great. The time it takes to get a few items billed at the self checkout counters are ridiculously slow. They're well stocked up on the beach toys, swimming equipments, fresh produce and other stuff

Walmart, NO ONE, uses Walmart Pay. Why? Because you only use it at WALMART. It’s not convenient, I have to use an extra app, it’s nonsense. Get with the times it’s 2024. I was in a rush, went to pay and forgot Walmart doesn’t take Apple Pay. I had to go get my cash from the car, come BACK in, then had to WAIT for a register to open. We all know Walmart is known for their long lines and 3 registers open. I hate the shopping experience at Walmart. I HATE IT.

I came in for an oil change (arrived 15 minutes early as instructed )today (Feb 8) at 11:00. As I write this review they are just now placing my car up in the air on the rack that it has been on since 11:00-11:05 . There has only been one other car in the bay area this whole time. There are 5 workers out in the bay work areas. Could ANYONE please explain WHY in the Dickens does this take so long????? I'll wait (which is what I am STILL doing anyway). It is 11:55 now as well......UPDATE, ITS 12:14 and my car is coming down from the rack. I ask for a Manager. We will see if they show up. That was at 12:05. It is now 1230. Car is still not done with 11:00 oil change, no manager yet either. AND now noone to run the register apparently.....My car is now coming off the rack... It is 12:37. BUT still November of management. Now the young lady is "rushing me " to cash out. Says she doesn't have any idea about management coming to talk to me.

We had an appointment with the auto center at 3:00 to install 4 tires on our car. Arrived 15 minutes early as requested. We were told they couldn't install them because the technicians would have to work overtime and the manager would not approve it. We showed our confirmation of our appointment we received the day before and asked why we didn't receive a call or text and no one could tell us. We tried to speak with a store manager but after 30 minutes of waiting the technicians went home so we left. Very poor customer service.

The pharmacy was very friendly and very clear on directions for my medication.

I will never shop at any Walmart again! Especially this location! I understand self check, there are workers that monitor us at self check out and then there’s a line at the exit, 6-7 charts lined up while the door greeter checks receipts. I’d rather wait in line for a cashier to check me out than have to wait at the door because your company assumes that we are all stealing. I’m not saying theft isn’t an issue, especially this location, I have heard has a lot of issues with theft. However, to treat every single customer as if they are stealing is unacceptable! I have shopped at this Walmart for 7 years and I have spent my hard earned money here at least twice a week for that 7 years. This is the only store with self checkout that checks receipts. I don’t get this kind of treatment at Target or Aldi.

Yes the Walmart supercenter in question it's starting to get brazen and starting to charge your card efts fees and fees cash back please and if we are to believe by the timing on the statement that we have managed to spend money in the cash check out and then run back to the pharmacy I will start to asked everybody to check the Walmart charges on their statement for duplications where they will charge you online store number in another state and then the actual.

While in Walmart last nite I had a problem with my card but cashier ABRAHAM was polite friendly courteous and on his job to get it done correctly and Walmart should value this employee because he took the time with an elderly customer by NOT being short or aggravated to show me what was wrong so I'll know the next time what to do and I think this young man for that GREAT JOB ABRAHAM 😎. . .

Purchased an item today that was clearly marked for a price. It rang up at a higher price. After confirming that it was marked at the lower price, the manager said they couldn't change it. Poor customer satisfaction.

It's a wal mart what can you say. But I do like the self check out. Better than South St Pete. Still never stocked. They are getting better at stocking early. I think the stock staff can't read.

I struggled to find clothes made of natural fibres. Cotton, wool, linen, all seem to be rare fabrics at this store.

Walmart app developers need to do a better job the checkout is less than optimal if you're using a gift card for your Walmart auto pay it should when you return return rate to your Walmart auto pay not give me another gift card and then I got reenter the card data
