Depending on the server, the service can be flawless! Ask for Jessica! She's the best of the best!

Left a long yelp review, so this is the shortened version. Drink was way off. No egg or onion requested on the salad means remove them from a pre-made salad so it just tastes like onion w/a little bit of egg. Med rare steak is rare and cool inside. Cup of coffee is old and less then half full. Kinda sucked!

Attended a relative luncheon. Service was good and the specials were perfect for the occasion

The food was great! I had the thick porkchop and Martin had a steak. Both perfectly cooked. The service was great. From the hostess to the person who cleared the tables. They refilled Arnold Palmers before the glass was empty. My first time. Definitely not my last!

They had great happy hour prices and dishes. The place was packed. The food is always good.

So disappointed in the new “watered down version” of Tucker’s house lemon pepper dressing. Been coming here for years just for this great salad and dressing. I normally use one container of dressing….i used four tonight and still wasn’t enough. My server told manager….. he did not come out to discuss. Very disappointed tonight. 😢 it’s okay that price has doubled…. Just want old salad back.

I know it's "the place for steaks" but the haddock is awesome. Always cold draft beer and the house lemon pepper salad dressing is light and wonderful 😊

The deluxe Pizza is excellent. Separately the Bone-in-Ribeye is superb. Potato Skins are so good! If you have a group coming, all must be at the restaurant in order to be seated. Try the house salad too. All meals are dine-in only. No takeout.

Me an my son wanted a good lunch PERFECT PLACE TO GO!!! Was seated immediately inside was a beautiful day we should've gone to patio look awesome but alas. Ordered fried mushrooms appetizer was prompt an hot loved it. My son odered NY STRIP med- rare an fries i Ordered porterhouse med-rare an fries EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS AN PERFECT. LOVED THE SALAD WITH HOUSE RANCH. DRESSING WAS ON SPOT. IVE BEEN TO THE OTHER TUCKERS HAD SAME EXPERIENCE BUT WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK TO THIS LOCATION. WAITER KYLE WAS ON SPOT. AWESOME SERVER.

Food was ok, salad was weird, not Lettuce or Romaine leaves. Rolls were a little overdone, so they weren't as great as they should be. Decaf Coffee was cool. Our table was under an A/C vent and we all Froze the entire time.

The food was good...the salads came out in warm bowls which in turn settled the lettuce and salad should be cold and crisp at this price. The house dressing wasn't to my liking but I guess some people do. We all ordered the 16 oz bone in ribeye. 3 out of the 4 were good...spot on...the fourth one was almost all gristle which displeased my wife but she didn't want to make it an issue since we had invited the other couple for dinner. The baked potatoes were all good and there was plenty of butter and sour cream for the size of the potato. All in all it was ok.

Steak was over cooked for both my husband and me. I sent it back and came back a little less over cooked but not by much. Our server was great. The veggies were great.

My personal favorite steakhouse in St. Louis. Never disappoints.

My boyfriend and I stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner. Our waitress was phenomenal!!! The food was phenomenal! Wasn't impressed with the hostess trying to seat us in the very back, and then trying to seat us at a 2 top that's literally in the entrance of the room. The room was packed! And we walked past the first 2 rooms, which had maybe 2 to 3 tables occupied. I understand different sections for different wait staff and making fair. However, do not try to seat ppl at literally your worst table. People don't want to sit on top of one another if it's not packed or necessary to dine in. Overall, we will absolutely come back. The food and service alone are worth it!!

Great Place For Steaks! I had the porterhouse steak dinner with the T-bone. You get two cuts of meat on either side of the bone. Medium rare. Very tender! Well worth the wait! 🍽 😋 👍🏽

We always enjoy dinner at Tuckers! The staff is friendly and very responsive. The food is delicious! I highly recommend lemon pepper tilapia, pizza, house salad, and of course, their baked potatoes. It's like eating the most delicious home cooked meal.

Fantastic place for dinner. What a great place!!! Atmosphere, all families, all ages. Our server, Sherry is incredible. Get the Porterhouse Steak!

Most consistently fantastic restaurant I've been to. The steak has always been cooked perfectly, and the service is good too. The only hindrance to the service is how busy they always seem to be. Head in early if you don't want to wait, even on a Tuesday night.

The steak sandwich with au jus was dry and didn't come with fries. Kinda pricey for the quality.

My son ordered a Sirloin, and he complained it tasted strange. I tasted it and immediately spit it out on the plate. When we told the waitress, she admitted someone spilled some cleaner in the back and offered to get him another steak. We did not get any other offer to make this right and our meal was 150.00 with tip it was 170.00.(yes we still tipped) Later in the evening and today my son and I as well as my husband don't feel well. We won't be back. We went here on 7-20-24. I was hopeful of a good experience since the venue was busy on the outside area and clean. We were a party of 5, and our host sat us right next to the restrooms. Our wait staff was fair and accommodating.

Excellent food. Some of the best steaks in town. Very good staff, not only the servers but the busers too. Always there to refill drinks and clear off plates. Highly recommend. No kids menu.

Absolute joke of an establishment. We were seated and waited 30 min for our drinks. Our children had sodas and we waited additional time for our wine bottle. Before opening the bottle we asked how long it would realistically be for dinner to be served. We hadn’t even been asked to order our food yet. Server said 40 min and we said absolutely not. They had the nerve to charge us $6 for 2 fountain sodas. Thank you for nothing. Never returning.

5 stars always! NEVER had a bad meal nor a bad experience there. Our favorite server, Kyle, was slammed, but Chris was also very good!! A wonderful place to eat!

Wanted to get a to go order after being told no reservations or call in orders on the phone. I still went out of my way to go in to order only to find out they ONLY allow pizza as a take out. Lost a 100.00 order keep your 5.00 pizza .. we wanted steak for my birthday.. Will NEVER go back. Parking is horrible as well. I had to circle the parking lot several times to try and find parking.

This place hardly needs another review given its overwhelming number of them already. It’s not a gimmicky, bells-and-whistles steakhouse. I call it a "triperfecta" steakhouse: quality, quantity, and cost are all excellent. A basic steak, burger, and fries are perfectly executed. The side vegetables could be cooked a minute less, but who goes to a steakhouse and cares about the veggies?

Tucker's is the best place for Filet Mignon, baked potato and salad (all their other food is amazing as well - especially the Onion Rings!) It's where my family always goes, come hungry and leave stuffed!

They allowed someone to bring their “service dog” in. Which is perfectly OK, provided they don’t put the dog on top of a table and allow it to drink out of glasses. I know this is more of a reflection on the individual that brought the dog who could care less about anyone else, But management should have addressed It immediately! Especially since we brought it to their attention! Once we Were seated the service was slow And our waitress was very inattentive . It took us forever to get our food, Never followed up with any drinks, and took took forever to get our check so we could leave.. Don’t think we’ll be going back anytime soon!

The bun was so thick compred to the meat that it overpowered any flavor the pork might have had. The provided mayonnaise was not capable of bringing water to this sandwich desert. Two full slices of onion were overkill, and the lettuce was rather sad looking. Overall, it was a complete waste of money.

9 of us for dinner. Was seated in the back room and the smell was terrible. Smelled like the carpet was moldy. Made eating very difficult.

We were celebrating two birthdays and The birthday couple wanted steak so we thought of XTuckers. Everything was perfect

Asked for larger table. Hostess said there were none. The next couple that came in were sat at larger table in the next room. Manager said they were on a rotation. She didn't seem to care. Sitting the next guests in the first server's section solves the problem. My steak was served at the same time as my salad. Food was good, though not warm after I finished salad.

My second time trying this place after living out here for years. The food was decent but the service was uncomfortable and awkward from the moment you walked in the door. As a solo diner trying to enjoy a night out I really hoped for a more positive experience.

The first time here, the steaks were very good. One of them was undercooked, and it took a while to get back, but it was corrected. Our server did a great job, but I wanted to send out specific gratitude to the gentleman who was the back server/busser (tall blond hair). He was fantastic! Removing plates and helping keep our drinks full, and just checking on us. I would eat here again.

8 months ago a group of us went to Tuckers for dinner among friends and I rated it excellent. Now I rate it just average. Huh? It did not change as a result of our waiter, Andy, who was excellent. I again chose their pork loin chop for $18.95 and it was tough, fatty and overcooked. The onion rings we all shared were served burnt. The biggest issue though was the first impression of their worn dirty entry doors and hardware plus most of the wood furnishings throughout the place. I leads me to suggest a different establishment next time.

It’s bad when u have bad experience in your favorite steak house, just had diner, 2 filet mignon, after leaving the restaurant can’t stop going to the bathroom something wrong with the food we ate, not sue if I want to go back.

This place is reasonably priced for the quality of the food. I had the porterhouse, which was just over 30 dollars, and I thought it was better than some 40 or even 50 dollar ribeyes that I've had from other places. The salad and baked potato were alright. Our server was a bit rude, but not enough to knock off a star. If you're looking for somewhere new to try in the area, give it a shot.

The dinner salads were excellent. The baked potatoes were excellent. The margarita was top notch. The steaks were good but very much less cooked than each person ordered. I don’t care for the sweet whatever they put on the steaks, but that’s a personal preference. Place was very busy, it was Saturday though. Service was good.

The steak was really delicious and a good price! It was very beefy flavored. The pork chops are also really really good. Not too dry. We were also surprised how much we liked the side salad and bread. The staff was friendly. It was dark inside but we adjusted.

Seating includes 4 dining sections with one being a covered patio. This is a pleasant cozy dining experience with lots of lunch time speakeasy chatter. We were splurging on the Friday lobster tail special and house salad which was just fabulous! Our waitress was polite and friendly.

To pricey and everything was alacarte.

Quality: 10/10 Portion: 10/10 Price: 7/10 (before inflation it was unbeatable) Service: 10/10 Atmosphere: 4/10 (it feels like a hunters cabin) Recommendations: Their steaks are delicious and filling, great cuts, and reasonably priced. Their tucker burger is so good and its pricing is competitive with fastfood. I hear their buffalo chicken sandwiches are really good. They also have some really good loaded potato skins.

Stopped in for a quick bite at the bar. Great steak and service. It was exactly what I was looking for. Love what they rub on their steaks and their house dressing and salad is refreshing. Will be back again.

It'd been a out 3 years since I visited but one of my besties frequents Tucker's Place, as does my cousin. Last week the bestie and I met there. We both said "no onions, please," but both arrived WITH onions. Raw onions stink to high heaven. We didn't see her except once when she asked how our food was (best cheeseburger in ages), but it took forever to get more iced tea! It was not crowded at all. I'll go again but we will definitely ask hostess for a different server. Oh, and we still tipped 20%.

This was my first time coming to the restaurant and saw they had nice outdoor seating. I went to try to sit outside but was closed because of the rain. The rain had completely stopped. Was told could not sit outside. It was 8pm. It was very early also. Terrible experience for my first time. Will not be recommending this place to anyone.

We traveled to St. Louis for a procedure for my husband and he was going to have to fast for over 12 hours. I took him here for his "final meal". He ordered a baked potato, 16oz bone in ribeye, and steamed veggies. This man is a man of few adjectives when it's comes to his meals. He is rarely impressed. But this steak he would not stop raving about how tender and cooked to perfection it was and the special tuckers sauce made him not have to use his beloved A1 sauce. The next day while still highly medicated he told his post op nurse multiple times about this steak. When he finally fully woke up, he had me bring him back before we started back home and bought 2 jars of the tuckers place sauce. The staff both times were personable and friendly. I will say next day he got the NY strip and he noted it was not as good as the ribeye, but still good!

There is a reason for all the rave reviews and the wait. Great food all around! Collard location has a different fun vibe on Saturday. Food as good or better than Manchester Road location.

My boyfriend and I always come here and love it. However, we just came here with my parents and my dad ordered a steak, they brought the wrong one out and acknowledged it. My dad voiced he didn’t want to pay for the steak as he did not get what he wanted. They wouldn’t refund it because it was the “better quality” steak, which my dad also said he did not even like. He didn’t finish it either. I work at a local restaurant nearby, and if we bring someone the wrong item we replace it immediately and comp the item. Extremely disappointed with the service and the manager did not even come to check on us with the issue either. Not sure if we will be returning.

The food was alright. Went for my birthday dinner with my sister. Very disappointed in not having more than one item for dessert. Not everyone is a fan of cheesecake. Also you really got to do something about the parking. I had to drive around for ever to get a spot

It’s a casual, down to earth steakhouse with great service. Good for steak service w/o the pomp & circumstance of white table cloth. While the porterhouse is usually recommended — I would opt for the ribeye. Been coming since I grew up about 10 years ago and always made a point to come here. Hasn’t changed in all these years — in a good way. Very flavorful steak seasoning and a good sear. Opt for the lemon-pepper salad dressing.

Steak was cooked excellently. Nice and pink and juicy without a bunch of blood pouring out. You can tell it rested properly. Big fluffy baked potato with butter and sour cream was also great.

Not my typical visit, I normally visit during the week a Kyle is my server. Kyle is awesome .. always does a great job.. however today Savanna was my server and she was horrible .. I had to ask several times for water, my order came out incorrect.. I reminded her what I ordered she returned the food and never returned to the table. Apparently, she was upset for the cook mistake which was out of her control and refused to visit my table for the remainder of my time.. Food was good after the manager made his visit to my table. If Kyle isn’t there I’m not going back.. ask for Kyle if you go !

This was my first time at Tucker's. As a longtime vegetarian, I'm not going to make it a go-to. But, the St.Louis style pizza was very cheesy, very good, the salad was good-enough, and the service was excellent!!

Steaks were amazing, came with a large house salad (had bacon, onion, tomato) and a baked potato. Upgraded the potato to be loaded. Our table got 2 filets, a New York strip, and shrimp skewers. The total bill for 4 people prior to tip came out to about $125. Everyone ordered water to drink. I told my husband we were coming back for Valentine's Day! My mom ordered grilled shrimp on a skewer, and they were amazing.

You can still get an amazing steak at a good price. We always enjoy Tucker's.

Tuckers has great steak, great food, but the place is in need of an update.

Service was great. The kitchen had a little trouble on a very busy Friday night in frozen snowy weather. Our server had to correct a mistake or two. The main issue was that our steaks were not cooked to temp. We both ordered medium rare. My friend's very thick NY strip was still mooing, and my thinner porterhouse was well-done. We were both disappointed. The rest of the food including salads, fried mushrooms and ravs, loaded potatoes, fries, and the pizza were great.

Good bye favorite steak house in town. You’ve let me down for the last time. Ask anyone and they’ll tell you “oh..Tuckers south county used to be great,but…”,same for downtown,but my jewel-the Manchester location-usually never let me down. Last week during horrible cold I got the opportunity to find a spot to park so I indulged. Don’t act like you’re not going to spend at least $50 a person in this place so when you serve me a salad-don’t make it a bowl of wet lettuce with 2 cherry tomatoes and a single red onion. Spend the 25 cents on some cheese. Accompanied by 2 bred rolls.It makes you look cheap. So..Meridian was my server-beside myself there was a single 2 top in the same dining area. This female peeled off and never once checked on me. I was by myself, so I guess my tip wasn’t worth the effort to keep up. After the second attempt to check on the 2 top while ignoring me(wanting to point out the grossness of the salad) I hadda get a bus boy. “Why is my waitress ignoring me?”. No one could find her. Super not busy. This made me mad. I could no longer expect my food to be worth the price so I cancelled it,paid for my beer and left. Talked to the front of house manager and she faked concern. Too bad. Really liked going here. Those chain places are a bummer but at least I know what to expect there.

This was an amazing experience! Great atmosphere, perfect old school, charming steak house vibe. They were very busy and we didn't wait long at all for a table. The service was impeccable to say the least. But the food stole the whole show. Hands down the best steaks I've ever had at a restaurant. Perfectly cooked as ordered. Best baked potato we've had. 10/10 overall. Will only be going to Tuckers for steak from here on out!!

Jessica, the waitress was outstanding. We had a party of 13 and she handled it with no problem.

I tried to call the night before because we’re supposed to have 14 family members. Turns out they don’t do reservations they do first come first serve with a maximum of 15. People turns out a few members couldn’t make it and we only had nine they originally told us it was gonna be up to an hour and a half wait but it turned out. We only had to wait about 35 minutes. The food was fantastic. We had two vegetarians in the group, and they were able to find delicious options with the veggie pizza, pastas and salads, their best known for their steaks. That’s what I got, and my cousin got a ribeye, and they were both cooked to perfection and decent proportions for everybody’s dishes. Most of people left with leftovers. The price might be a little bit higher than most other restaurants but the food is worth it and with leftovers it actually turns into two meals, making it not that bad. We ordered three appetizers to share. I think we had mozzarella sticks, jalapeño poppers and toasted ravioli. My daughter had the fried chicken salad and my mom had a grilled chicken dish. So there is definitely some healthy options.

I ordered the filet mignon and it was cooked perfectly and was tender and delicious! It is very cramped and could use a little more space but overall it was a great dinner. Server was ok.

Filet minon was cooked to perfection. Waiter was friendly and on top of everything. Our party of 6 had a wonderful experience.
