The woman at the counter, who I assume is the owner, is an angel! She’s very friendly and warm. She embodies Latino warmth and hospitality. I got to learn a bit about her and her family. She also helped me bring food to my car and sent me off with a hug. We ordered a cubano; which was the length of my entire arm and was very tasty & rice, beans and pernil. The pernil was tender, people who prefer a simple clean taste would love this since it wasn’t heavily seasoned. I didn’t feel bloated after either which sometimes pernil makes you feel. Not to mention for a giant plate of rice and pernil and giant cubano it was $20, you can’t beat that. Please come and support her business, she’s someone who deserves her success and a member of our community I will always support when I visit Florida. 🇩🇴🇵🇷

My husband and I found this place during a camping trip in Blue Spring State Park. We loved it here. The food was great, the portions were very big, and it felt like our family was cooking for us. There is just one lady cooking, taking orders and serving. She was absolutely adorable. Our ONLY things: 1. Although the food was great, it could use a little more salt. She has salt shakers, so not a big deal because you can add to your liking. 2. It was very quiet, some music would liven the place up a bit. We saw a tv that could be used for that but it was turned off. We would definitely recommend to people visiting the area, and will most likely return on our next trips!

She makes you feel like you are at a friends house each time you go there.

This place is a hidden gem. The food is simply amazing because it's hand cooked from scratch. The service couldn't be any better. The owner/ cook is super nice and so caring. My daughter gets seizures from the heat and the owner and her friend brought fans, cooled her down. And the price is much cheaper than others for a lot more.

People don't know that the more food, the bigger (sandwich) that doesn't mean you're eating well, that means they're meals from previous days and as a business they don't want to lose those leftovers, here I wouldn't even eat for free 🤮

Absolutely! One of the best Cubans I have ever had and the size is ridiculous. The Empanada was juicy and crispy. On top of that I got all that food for $16.

Currently visiting from Alabama and decided to stop here first thing in the morning after making it in late last night and it was the best decision! The owner is beyond sweet and caring and the food is SO good and presented with love. Whether you’re visiting or a local, this place should be on your list of go to restaurants. Would recommend 1000x times. :) if I have the opportunity to come back, I definitely will!

This is some of the best food I’ve ever had. The chef is fantastic at their job and she was very friendly. The Cuban sandwich was both huge and delicious, I cannot recommend this place enough. I will always stop here if I’m driving within an hour of here.

So my son and I are in town to pick up a car and I found this restaurant via a quick google search and knew I want to try the food. We walked in and was greeted. We sat down at a table. It took a few minutes but the waitress/chef came out and I ordered a coffee. It came with cream which was very yummy. Having never been here I just ask what she recommended and she suggested the sandwich which I got. To my surprise out comes a huge plate of food the we later found out was the Cubano sandwich. This was by far the best sandwich I have had in years. It is also huge so unless you come hungry enough to eat a horse. I would recommend sharing with his as we both are taking half our meal with us. I highly recommend this place. And if I am ever in the area again I will make a point to come here.

Horrible food. Oily patties. The food took forever.. NOT HYGIENIC AT ALL! We didn't like the food, the empanadas were pure oil and the cheese was horrible. The food took a long time. And the place is very dirty, not HYGIENIC at all. I don't understand how they have 4.9 stars.

The prices here are like you're in 2018 again and the service and food is comparable to an experience you would have out of the country, in other words it's truly authentic. I highly recommend this spot it's a classic hidden gem

I was just in town visiting or I would be back until I tried everything on the menu! I ordered the Tripleta sandwich and it was enormous for only $9. Really delicious. Especially the roast pork! Also ordered the Pernil & cheese Empanada and it was was large and stuffed to the gills with tender roast pork and cheese. Everything was clearly prepared fresh from scratch by the wonderful and accommodating owner. Don’t be afraid to try something new, especially if you live in the area! Incredible value and delicious food! And on top of that, it’s obvious that the whole operation is a labor of love and you can taste it in the food!

This place is a hidden gem! Literally hidden because even with Google Maps, I had to look closely to spot where this restaurant was. I asked the owner why they didn’t have a sign outside for better visibility; apparently the city doesn’t allow it. The food is awesome and the portions are huuuuge! Very well worth the money. Also their price is very affordable! I got their Pernil (pulled pork) combo meal, beef and cheese empanada, and cheese flan! They are awesome! I’m gonna try the other food on the menu when I get back. You guys should try them out!

We stopped at this restaurant because it was authentic and highly rated. We were not disappointed. The food was great and the service we received was outstanding! If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be going there again.

This is one of my favorite places in the world. The lady makes you feel like family and is an amazing cook. Can't wait to go back and see her and eat her food. Everything is good. I like her carne guisada and my wife loves her oatmeal and breakfast. She cooks to order and when you're there you feel like everyone in that little restaurant is family.

Hands down the best empanadas I have ever had. We don’t speak a lick of Spanish but we’re able to communicate with the very nice lady that was running the restaurant by herself.

I found this place by chance and it was a blessing to find it. The food is delicious, she is a super kind woman guided by God, how to get to your mom's house, you feel at home. I recommend it 100% and I will definitely come back ❤️

This place is a gem. They serve very affordable and huge servings of food made with love. We had tostones, Cuban Sandwich (one of the best in FL), and pernil (pork). It feels like you’re walking into a Caribbean or Central American restaurant and the service is as authentic as the food!

This place is amazing with friendly staff, sharable plates and it's so affordable. I've never had latin food this good! The empanadas are enormous and range from $2-2.50 and they're MASSIVE about 6-7" and loaded with meat and cheese and made to order! I also got fried pork with tostones for $6.99 (Also massive) and pernil with cilantro rice and a tripleta sandwich (that was half a baguette for 8.99). All thier ingredients are fresh! Even the cilantro! Thier highest price dish 11.99 and it's all amazing. They even let us try a sizable amount of pernil before we got it( pic below of bowl after we all had a few bites and there were four of us) I HIGHLY recommend this place, don't pass it up even if it's small and homey!

The food here is excellent, very authentic and prepared from scratch. The service is, well difficult, if you don’t know Spanish it’s hard to communicate. Other patrons will do their best to help you, but it’s still a mixed bag. Because the food is made by a single cook who is trying to prepare food as well as take orders and collect payments, things tend to be slow. More organization or staff would make this place amazing, but I also understand that has its own issues and problems. I recommend going though, but just expect to wait longer than you may prefer for the good food.

My husband bought tripe with white rice, the tripe had no flavor and was more liquid than anything else, the white rice was raw, I mean I lost time and money because we couldn't eat it, we ended up throwing it in the trash and buying Hispanic food elsewhere. I do not recommend the tripe

One woman show. I would say everything is perfect except it’s a one person show. It’s a slow process, but worth the wait. I’ll give her credit, because the food is amazing. She is very sweet as well. Definitely worth it

Warm, friendly experience - like having your mom make you breakfast in her kitchen. Loving hugs from the owner after she served a most delicious pressed Cuban egg bacon cheese sandwich, freshly made Cuban coffee, delicious. The eggs were perfectly cooked. We drove by after some hiking at the nearby State Park. No regrets at all! The owner treated us very nicely and offered her preferred choice of food. It's good value for money, next time around we will definitely come again.

Authentic Dominican food; owner is a sweetheart, she does it all cooks, serves, and makes you feel at home. We had mangu con los 3 golpes, sancocho with rice and pernil con habichuelas. The beans were what won me over 😍she uses chuleta ahumada in them for that extra special taste. I am picky & being from Tristate, I have high standards for latin food especially Dominican food. Highly recommended. Looking forward to trying more dishes when I return.

This is by far the best Spanish food I’ve had in Florida. It takes me back home to being with family and eating good Spanish food. The owner is an amazing women each time I go she is so welcoming and positive and friendly. I recommend a million times. I always feel at home here and the Dominican breakfast I love ordering is to die for. This is a place you have to stop by and check for yourself.

Looking for a new breakfast place and searched on google. Walked in the woman working greeted us right away. Suggested a few items and husband and I picked sandwiches. She is the most kind hearted person. She treated us with respect and like we were one of her kids. Coffee has a unique flavor that is delicious. She kindly offered my husband another meat with his sandwich, no extra charge. Our food came out and OMG, so much food. It was absolutely perfect. Cooked wonderfully and the flavor was amazing. She took care of us and made sure we were happy. 20/10 will be back and will recommend to anyone looking for an authentic latin food with the hospitality of a latin mother.
