I really love your pastas But this last visit was really disappointing The pasta had a lot of noodles that were rock hard not sure why The garlic rolls were wrapped in tin foil and were very soggy and they had slice of cheese on them instead of grated cheese they just didn’t taste as good as they used to

Google tells me my reviews have lots of views, I hope so. This is not a review of the pizza, it was great as usual, but all about a casual assessment by an employee that I needed to be told that the restroom was for " paying customers" They told me they have homeless people come in. At 70 I just needed to pee before paying for my pizza.I was clean, well dressed in a REI jacket with my favorite Duluth ball cap. Not a homeless look, why would this man assume I was? They spoke to me with attitude without apology. I wonder why they felt comfortable addressing me in such a fashion? Did I mention I'm a black 70yr old man.... FYI

Great food, glad that they deliver but sometimes take out orders take a little long to get there but it’s understandable during rushes and stuff

Food is always good. Staff is friendly to the customers. From the counter you can hear all conversations and goings-on happening in the kitchen. At times I've heard some interesting conversations, as well as arguing and complaining by some of the staff. Just makes waiting for my order a bit uncomfortable.

Excellent food, service was good on a takeout. I’d never been there before, didn’t know the menu and the cashier was helpful. Well seasoned, hot food with fresh veggies. Will be back!

My favorite. The evening staff is among the best. I frequent here and they great me, help me and just make you feel valued. Hard to find all of that in one place. The kind male manager always there to do what he can. Thank you

Delivery Review We ordered for delivery and used the order for later option. We placed the order around 4:45 and ordered for 6:00 as that was the second option available for order for later. We arrived home by 5:50 for our order. At 6:15, it had still not arrived. I called the store and was told we only have one driver and they are out. I asked to cancel the order. The person on the phone said he would get the manager. He came back on and said the order was done and would be delivered if we still wanted it...we were told 15 minutes. The order arrived about 20 ish minutes later...a total of 40 minutes late. We totally understand that staffing is an issue right now...however, our order should never have been taken if it couldn't be delivered. In addition, we were missing 2 of the extra ranch dressings that we ordered and paid for. We love Valentino's and order all the time. This was very disappointing and we ended up with our grandkids not being able to eat as they needed to get home and get ready for bed for school. Just not the service and level of quality we usually get from Valentinos.

The buffet is closed, don't go, it is only carryout!!

Was going for buffet but found it's only carryout and delivery now. Google still has the restaurant listed as open. We did order to-go. The guy who helped us was great, and the food was delicious. Just miss the buffet.

The flavors of the food have changed over time. I do not order from here very often anymore.

Ordered pizza, lasagna and breadsticks a few days ago. After partially eating our food, we noticed that the lasagna had green in a good portion of the noodles, and the meat. Called the next day, we were told the food was made fresh, and told the manager would call us. Never received a call, and we did get sick. Never again will order!!!!

Pizza is always amazing, but every single time we call to order they say their fryer is down for wings. We will call 2 hours before close on a week day or weekend and every time we want wings they tell us they just got done cleaning the fryer and can’t them. Doesn’t matter what time of day, I am still waiting to try these so called wings that are supposed to be amazing.

I went in at 2:30 in the afternoon for a single slice of pizza. No single slices available at that time. I had to order one. It was small, but about ten dollars. The sauce surprised me, being overly sweet and not much sausage on my sausage pizza. The staff was delightful! I just won't be back during the in-between times.

Was not the best but not the worst either. Too salty and all dishes tasted the same…. Had pasta, pizza, and wings and they felt like the same taste…. Was weird lol!

No broasted chicken 2 hours before closing....bummer. But the pizza and bread sticks were good as they always are.

Food was ok, I love the express lunch, but service was terrible. However, get the lasagna & salad bar. And it's a cheap and fast lunch.

Valentino's is a favorite from my childhood, and I sometimes like to grab a tray of lasagna when passing through Omaha. I placed a takeout order earlier today for lasagna, and also added three jars of Valentino's spaghetti sauce to my order (it's great to jazz up leftovers from other restaurants that have turned bland in the fridge). Shortly after placing my order, we received a call that they were out of spaghetti sauce. Disappointing since I don't have a Valentino's near me, but I was still looking forward to my lasagna. Imagine my surprise when my husband emerged from the restaurant holding our lasagna... AND THREE JARS OF SPAGHETTI SAUCE! A gentleman who was working today ran to another Valentino's to procure it just for me. Totally unexpected and seriously made my day. The lasagna was delicious too. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I come here alot for the express lunch and the staff here is so friendly !!! Always extremely nice and helpful I love the customer service and fresh salad bar .

In Omaha from SD and my son saw a Valentinos. We haven't eaten at a Valentinos since the Sioux Falls location closed years ago. Disappointing that there isn't a buffet anymore, but, we ordered take out and it was just as delicious as we remember. Service was fantastic and the lady at the counter (receipt says Ernestine) was incredible at her job and her people skills are on point. Thank you for a delicious and nostalgic meal! 6/9/2022 Update: Passed through for a 2nd time and visited again and the food was even better and the Service from Ernestine at the counter was spot on. She was just as personable as the last time. Loved our 2 experiences here.

I live Valentino's. I remember when I first moved to Omaha way back when. Valentino's was the first restaurant we went to I was amazed. My favorite is the manicotti. I have to say I am a little disappointed that the Buffett is not an option. The staff at the Maple St location are very down to earth. However a mistake was made on my order. I let it go.

I've been coming here for years and never have I had an experience like I had today. I called and placed my order over the phone and when I showed up the girl couldn't find my name at first then the shift supervisor proceeds to tell me there is no ticket and they no longer carry the Sicilian spaghetti and haven't since she started back in January. I have ordered this many times since January and have never had a problem. I have no clue now what they have given me because when I asked to change my order to muscatelli and meat sauce she said they are making your order right now. I drove from South Omaha all the way to 108th and Maple just for the Sicilian spaghetti there is a Valentino's closer to my house which I could have went to and probably had better service and save gas

Food is good overall. A bit too much tomato sauce. Wait time for delivery was too long. But this place is usually good. Will order from them again.

I love their breadsticks. Stopped tonight. A man walked in at same time as me. I ordered breadsticks. He had pre ordered. They put part of his order on the counter. He had to ask if that was his order. He had to wait another 7 minutes for his breadsticks. The worst breadsticks I have ever had at Valentino's. They were cold and hard on the outside

Good and cheap 5 buck lunch of two large pizza slices and a medium pop. I do miss the buffet but I imagine that is done going forward everywhere.

Called even when busy on night we ordered food was hot and ready on time. Worth the higher prices. Could really taste the lasagna sauce. Light and rightly seasoned. Pizza was good and fantastic crust. Cooked to perfection. 5 stars all the way.

This place is a joke!!! We called and placed a carry-out order for a 16-piece broasted chicken @7:30 pm today, 08/07/2021, Rus took our order. He said it will be ready by 8:20pm. We got there at 8:30ish. Anne came out, she said the chicken was messed up, so they placed another batch of chicken and it will be ready in 10 minutes. She refunded our money but promised that she will bring out the chicken to us anyway. We just have to wait. Since there is a severe storm, and most of the restaurants are closing, we agreed to wait. We can see their staff just standing around and looking at us from the inside! 20 minutes later, my patner went inside to check on the ckicken only to be told that they are having dificulties with their broaster machine and they cannot cook the chicken!!! What a joke!!! The incompetence is to the highest level! We've heard several bad comments about this place but we thought of giving this a chance, we greatly regret it! This place should close down! I don't want to give them a single star, but this app won't let me post this comment without it!!!

Lunch carry out specials are the best.

Ordered a pizza for delivery at 4:30 pm on one of the coldest/snowy days of the season. Was advised it was a 90 minute wait. Imagine my surprise when it was delivered 45 minutes later. Good job, Valentino's!

The lunchtime deal they have is the best deal you can get in Omaha for under 6$. The staff is very good. I have been going at least ones a week for almost 3 years. I have never had anything but the best service and great food. I tell every one i know about there deals. So much cheese.

Valentino's was totally awesome. I walk with a cane and it makes it's hard to get around some time, but I manage. Today when I went with him to pick up my order so woman notice to my difficulty and she immediately got someone to help me out the car with my orders. Thank you John. It made a difference

Love the food and always outstanding service. The best Valentino's in Omaha hands down!! I recomend the baked mostaccioli with meat sauce and their cinnamon bread sticks!

Seems like the sauce or cheese has changed and not for the better. The taste was not the same.

Beautifully decorated for Christmas, food hot and dellious and a big shout out to Lisa who checked on us often to see that we had enough food or if we needed anything. Awesome party room. Will be scheduling our next Christmas party there

We contacted this location to arrange for Valentino’s to cater a family gathering following a funeral. We were very pleased with the food, the timely delivery and the professionalism of the delivery man. The woman we coordinated with in catering was excellent, as well. Thank you, Valentino’s, for making this easy for us. The food was fantastic.

Although a bit more expensive than it's competition Valentino's is a local company with a solid product line up.

I can't say much about the ambiance. We ordered take-out. It has been years since I've had Valentino's pizza. It was good to eat some of this again.

They were closed early so couldn't go in and eat.

Food quality is good. You can't go wrong with Valentino's. What I don't suggest is using this place to host an event. The rooms are very oddly set up and really cramped. We had small room and very few people but the tables were just crammed in there.

I have stopped in 3 seperate times in the last few weeks and there is a very nice counter person, Earnistine, she is always so nice and no matter what the weather, she makes me feel like a special person. I want to thank her for being so friendly!

My friends and I used to meet here all the time until we recently discovered that this location recently changed to an “all party” location. If we wanted Val’s buffet, we’d have to go all the way to the one south. No thanks. Not sure what genius made that decision but it was a horrible one. Now every time I drive by it, there is no one in their parking lot. Wonder how long before this place closes now. I give it 6-8 more months.

Our daughter attended college in Nebraska, and when we visited, going out for a Valentino’s pizza was a special treat. On a recent trip through Nebraska, we made the effort to drive into Kearney for a pizza lunch at Valentino’s. That is no longer an option. It’s a mishmash buffet of every cheap, tasteless food under the sun—from scrambled eggs to barbecue ribs. Order pizza for takeout and avoid the buffet!

The buffet here is amazing! Besides their famous pizza and Italian pasta dishes (including wonderful lasagna), their bread/breadstick selection is wonderful for all of you bread lovers out there! There are American dishes that are so wonderful (broasted chicken, sometimes roast with mashed potatoes and veggies too) they try to tempt me away from what I came for - Italian! The salad bar is easily a stand alone with "home made" tasting dressings, croutons, pasta salads, roll-ups and more. The "can't decide what to take" dessert bar (with soft serve too) and kiddie buffet (smiley fries, mac-n-cheese, and of course chicken nuggets and more) are not even the end of this buffet. There is often fish/hush puppies and more seafoodish dishes and/or Mexican selections, and did I mention spinach dip (not sure if that is always there or not). Our kids are grown now, but it used to be so many 'cents' times their age. Love this place!

Awesome affordable excellent place to get to know someone. Family approved and affordable. More choices then any other buffet in the metro area. Besides the location I am impressed by every bit of this restaurant.

My 2 sons and I eat out a lot, but not very often at Valentino’s. I was extremely impressed with all of the staff there- from the front counter lady, to the person managing the buffet items and even the bus boy. Everyone seemed to really enjoy their job there and to think these folks don’t work for tips! Very impressed and think they all deserve raises for such polite service- something that is hard to come by these days!!!
