They have hired an excellent chef and expanded their menu now with more than their excellent sausage poor boy sandwiches. Just enjoyed some outstanding corn, crab, and crawfish bisque. Many other Creole plate food options.

Had lunch here as part of a bespoke tour with Accidental Cajun Experiences. We not only enjoyed incredible food, but had the opportunity to chat with the owner and staff. Beautiful people creating food they love. DO NOT SNOOZE ON VAUCRESSON's!

This place is fire omg the gumbo the sausage the fish the shrimp the Boudain balls everything was so good . Family owned great ambiance friendly and great customer service . Will definitely come back

Julie is absolutely amazing! The food was DELICIOUS and the service was just as great. I love that she supports local black owned businesses. Make sure you try the Oh Sweet Lemon lemonade, it was sooooooo good! We stopped by to grab a quick bite and left with more than that! Can’t wait to get my copy of her new cookbook! Will definitely return on my next visit to New Orleans! ⚜️

Soon as we walked in, it felt like we were being welcomed to a family members home. The staff was so friendly, especially the gentleman that had the nice singing voice. The sausage, OMG, the sausage was best I've had in life!!! We got the sampler platter with hot sausage and crawfish sausage and I will hope to order some to have it shipped to my home. 10/10 recommend!! Please do yourself a favor and stop by!

We found this place on the internet, wnating some NOLA-style sausage and wanting to escape the culinary tedium that often accomanies a jaunt in the Quarter. We delighted with our find! The owners, the friendly Vaucresson family, shared stories of their three generation production and serving of sausages, such as crawfish (it's great!), green onion, chicken, and, my favorite, spicy creole. By the way, the boudin balls and onion rings were darned good too. The new deli and sausage factory is obviously new, so the place is sparkling clean and bright. Yes, we took two pounds of plister pack sausages home to Atlanta, to remember our fun discovery.

Crawfish Balls were just a little salty but good and I ate them all. Its got the right amount of spice. Best gumbo that I've ever had. EVER

This is a phenomenal place to visit with delicious food and amazing customer service. I had chicken sausage and it was mouth watering because it didn't have fillers or any of the other ingredients so trust me I highly recommend this place.

I had been looking forward all week to visiting and they did not disappoint. Terrific food, excellent customer service and a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy with friends/family. All the fare is made in-house and cooked when ordered. My Sample Sausage platter came with my choice of sauces and sausages, grilled peppers & onion. By nature, I am a generous person but not today. So very tender--sooo good. It created a palate party and the sauces were uniquely tasty. The onion rings, boudin ball and my cousin's fish platter were hearty. Can you say, "to-go" plate please? The exceptional customer service begins the moment you walk in the door until departure. Clean surfaces from ceiling to floor (that is important to me). Monitors showed Jazz musicians displaying their craft. They also package and sell assortment of items. It is a locally black-owned establishment with a long, rich history. Short ride from central city. Locals and visitors should not miss a chance to experience what Vaucresson has to offer.

Bought back a whole mess of sausage to bay area. I came in and ordered 4 kinds of sausage told the folks at the counter that I was flying home Friday morning and to please have order ready. The owner Vance walked my niece to the car with the order. That's service!! I watched a documentary about vanishing creole and African-American food ways that were vanishing in NOLA and to hear the owner speak so eloquently about dieing traditions convinced me to seek them. Thrilled I that did.

Well, I was finally able to get me some Vaucresson' s Creole Hot Sausage, right here, in the 7th Ward, after all these years. I’m so glad that y’all’re back in the "Heart And Soul Of New Orleans"; it had been way too long! Thank y’all, so much, for persevering through all the adversity to bring back what is, not only y’all’s family legacy, but also a part of the larger Creole New Orleanian cultural legacy! As an Afro-Creole New Orleanian, it’s so important, to me (and I’m sure many others), that I can still go to the same place that my parents, grand-parents, and great grand-parents went to for traditional Creole foods. And, that it’s back on that Claiborne Avenue Corridor, which was once such a beautiful and vibrant center of Afro-New Orleanian cultural life and business activity, makes it all the more special! Geo-historic tip: Jelly Roll Morton’s and Sidney Bechet’s birth homes were, and Allison “Tootie” Montana’s home is, within ~one mile of Vaucresson’s Sausage Company. And, my birth home is in the 1800 block of Touro Street.

I came by chance and left surprised. I loved the Chaurice Po-Boy. The attention of the place is excellent and the owner is a very good person, as are all the employees. I hope to be able to return one day. Highly recommended.

I found this place on tic tok and was dreaming about going there 😂😂😂… I am such a big food person !!! I got the jerk chicken sandwich with onion rings . First of all the bread soooo yummy just by itself … but of coarse the jerk sausage was so delicious omg 🤤 I mean soooooo delicious 🤤 the staff is soooo nice & cool 😎 they let me taste some chili omg it was soooo goooddd … I am so full .. I will be back to try everything on the menu …. I guess I will bring my friends this time with me…. They was mad I went without them 😂😂 thanks guys i really lovedddd my food I will be back …

My food was over cooked and my bread was not fresh.. just being honest.. I'll try maybe another time, things might be different.

Bruh, you going to get full at this spot. The onion rings are the size of your face. The food is amazing and the staff is cool, engaging and hilarious. A 7th ward Gem without a doubt.

The food is crazy good. Burger with the sausage on it and the sausage sampler were very filling and tasted amazing. Got the hot creole, jerk chicken, and Italian sausages, and it even came with grilled onions and peppers. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Even a lady selling Pies in there today.

Good Lawd! What can I say it was my first time visiting this establishment. I give it a 10/10 the customer services was fantastic! The food was amazing I had the hot sausage, jerk, and Italian sausage. I also ordered the boudin balls off the charts. I will definitely be back!

We travel the country in a RV and try barbecue and smoked sausage all over the US. Out of the over 100 smoked sausage that I have tried this ties for nbr. 1 with 2 others. When we get home we will definitely have some more shipped to us. Glad they are back in business and we found them.
