Great authentically Venezuelan menu, mainly arepas with every imaginable filling. Beautifully adorned with plants. Excellent service; you choose your food, pay, get a number, and then sit at a table and they bring the food to your table.

For my family and I it has always been a pleasure to eat and enjoy the best family atmosphere at Venebites. As a connoisseur of Venezuelan cuisine, I can say that this restaurant brings together, absolutely, the best of every corner of the South American country. From the traditional arepas, an exclusive Venezuelan icon, its tequeños, patacones, passing through its emblematic Pabellón, to the gourmet hamburger "La Nena". Wow!!! The taste buds explode with excitement at the extraordinary mix of flavors. And I can't forget about its wonderful staff, that characteristic friendliness of the Venezuelans makes this place a little piece of the Caribbean in Tallahassee.

Delicious food cooked to order. Had the arepa with scrambled eggs and fried cheese and it was perfection. That creamy avocado condiment was divine! And the coffee was better than many nearby ships: mocha with ginger and cinnamon - yum! Friendly personal service. Great locally owned, woman owned family business. Highly recommend!

The food is overpriced to be street food, whoever does not know about what Arepas are can be fooled and pay whatever these people are charging, I do not recommend this place!

Love the atmosphere! You can tell everything is fresh and made with love. Delicious, flavorful and the portions are very much worth the price. Look forward to returning to try new stuff, what my husband and I have tried so far is 10/10.

The food is so good! So good! I wish I took a photo for you all, but I got the Arepa De Pabellon with Shredded beef (as pictured on the Menu). The atmosphere is fun and chill and the service was impeccable! Such great and positive vibes and food. The only issue is they can be closed on certain days and times of the day, but try to come when they open! You will get hooked ☺️

Don't order soup, it's water with garlic, the serving staff are rude and rude to the customer.

I’d never had Venezuelan food before and I decided to try. And I am so glad I did! The food was delicious. I had a steak wrap and it was huge. It was stuffed with meat, beans, rice and a mango pico de gallo. The flavors were amazing! The patio area is charming and filled with different plants. I highly recommend VeneBites and I’ll go there again when I’m in Tallahassee.

Absolutely delicious! The vegetarian/vegan options are great, they don’t feel like an afterthought like veggie options can at some places. Will def be back :)

The food and flavor is really good but they upped their prices and decreased the size of their portions so it’s NOT worth it.

First and last visit. The food needed to be better for the price. The restaurant service was awful. We went with some co-workers, asked for some Latin dishes, and the cashier looked at us angrily. I really don't know why? I read another comment about this issue, and I wouldn't expect that it was true, but it was. I don't know if this is the normal kind of welcome that they usually offer... Well, we started our lunch with that discomfort. After we tried the food, combined with the kind of services, it made us decide not to return here ever. The food was good enough but less delicious than the reviews mentioned. If you didn't eat in another Latin restaurant, this would taste very good, but if not, you will consider that the price-quality and service aren't worth it.

Driving through Tallahassee I had an obsession for Venezuelan empanada carne machadas. The owner said he would especially make them for me. I told him I grew up as a gringo in Caracas Venezuela and NOBODY makes a better empanada carne machada than real Venezuelans. He catered to this old man … they were EXCELLENT! The real deal. I’ll be back here every time I’m here in Tally. I took some extra ones home with me. Delicioso, Hermano! Gracias. El gringo chamito! :-)

Absolutely wonderful experience. Found out about an office lunch same day where I needed 20 separate orders. Food was done on time, all of it tasted amazing and there were 0 errors. That’s a lot more than can be said about a lot of restaurants in town. Great people and great food. Do yourself a favor and get the desserts.

Delicious food, great customer service and wonderful indoor and outdoor seating. For main courses, the food is dairy-free, and there are vegan and vegetarian options. No dairy-free/vegan options for desserts. Gluten-free friendly too.

Yum!! I’ve been here twice now and I’ve had the tequeños, the criolla wrap, the arepa llanera, & the tres leches cake and they were all SO GOOD. Honestly I would eat anything with their house red and green sauces though. Sitting outside is comfy and breezy. Definitely recommend!

This was my first time there and the food, ambiance, and service were great. Definitely try this place when you are in Tallahassee.

Visited VenaBites on a Friday night and found it well staffed fast service and really great food. I have never been there before but plan on coming back often to try the wide variety on the menu. If you go you will love it.

So good and will 100% return soon! The staff is so friendly and helpful. They have a nice sized indoor seating area as well as a cute patio out front. You order and pay at the register and they bring your food to your table. We tried two arepas, llanera and rumbera, tostones, and platanos and it was all seriously delicious! The Arepas are packed full of so much goodness, aka stuffed. We also got the salsa picante and verde because I’m a sauce queen and they were both great as well. The arepa itself is amazing, like I want to eat just the arepa. Can’t wait to return!

Absolutely delicious!! There is a wide variety to choose from and none of them seem to disappoint. I tried the arepa llanera and it was amazing!! I definitely recommend giving it a try. I also tried the tres leches and it was good! The environment of the restaurant is nice, with both outdoor and indoor seating. The outdoor area is very cute and filled with plants.

Loved the food, I had three arepas. The Tostones (fried plantains), 2eggs and bacon, and passion fruit juice. Great service ☑️ Indoor and outdoor seating ☑️ I loved the vibe of outdoor seating with all the plants 🪴 I felt like I was eating in a garden. Felt like I wasn’t in Tallahasse so that was cool. Large menu to choose from so I will definitely be back to taste every item. We spent a total of about 65$ plus tip since we ordered a lot. - This place is CRISPY KARTEL Certified 🫡

A piece of Venezuela in Tallahassee. The food, service, and atmosphere are excellent! The Chicha and Passion Fruit drinks are incredibly delicious and you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Arepas, patacones, cachitos, tequeños, etc. Are just too good. Already daydreaming about going back and trying out more of their menu options.

Tried the chicken and cheese arepa. Don’t be fooled, it’s a pretty large size. We all struggled finishing ours for lunch. The sauce it comes with is really good. Everything tasted great. UPDATE: came again and got their steak arepa to go. It was insanely delicious, my boyfriend said it was the best he’s ever had.

I was in town for business and had someone recommend that I look for some great Venezuelan food, and I'm so thankful that I found this place. The food was great, the service was amazing and the workers were amazing and so friendly. I would highly recommend going to VeneBites and giving them a try. You will not regret it.
