It was what I expected a small business nesaled in the beautiful state of Tennessee reminded me of my home pizza didn't disappoint!!

Great little place with outdoor dining and a stunning view. The pizza was great and the salads huge. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Best pizza ever! So fresh even taste fresh out of the oven the day after! Great people and fun atmosphere.

We'd heard good things about Verardi's and finally got to try it out. We ordered a Supreme pizza and really enjoyed. Also ordered Tater Kegs, a loaded tater tat that was really good.

Being from Chicago, Illinois,the bar is set high for what I consider good pizza. This pizza is outstanding! Great crust-not too thin or not too thick & heavy. Tasty sauce and plenty of higher quality cheese. Great service if dining in.

For a few years now, they Pizza has been good. The last Vegi pizza we purchased had far less vegatables than ever before. Two large pizzas and their smallest wing box came to almost an $80 bill. As with everything else, their prices have steadily risen. I suppose that the tourists don't care, but the locals, we can't afford it anymore. We won't be returning until the prices return to reasonable levels. We can eat at most places for around $50. For $80, we can fill the vehicle up and drive to New York city for Pizza.

Pizza pizza. I’ve been here a few times. Back when the place had small inside dining area that served beer. They closed that, and went to outside picnic dining. They now have an enclosed dining space for the last couple years, and I don’t know about the beer availability. Anyhow the pizza for the Dandridge area is one of the better ones. I’ve had several issues with the excessive amount of cheese on some of the pies I’ve got. Some people maybe fine with pizza cheese overload, but I want to taste everything on a pizza. I tell them when ordering now to please go a little light on the cheese, and that seems to help.

Pizza or wings, you can't go wrong! The only thing better than the service is the food.

We got a 16” cheese pizza and a 16” half deluxe add banana peppers half little piggie! Soooo good. We sat indoor for dine in and they had barrel of monkeys to occupy our toddlers until the pizzas were ready. Which was very fast!

Fantastic place! Great food, service and atmosphere. The owner is fantastic. You can see that she loves her job!! It over looks the lake, so we had a great view as well. We had a great time. Can't wait to go back!!!

This was close to a campground I was staying and what a surprise!! Definitely One of the best pizza’s I have had, I should’ve bought a second one and put it in my freezer😎 Little on the expensive side, but not for the quality!

Wow…. Found this place while here on vacation. All the food was AMAZING. Such FRIENDLY service with a smile. We will come back here every time we visit the area. If I could give it 6 stars, I would!!!

Honestly the best pizza around!!! Kim is absolutely amazing and has remembered our names and what we ordered from the first day we came. That says a lot! Always top notch customer service and like I said some of the best pizza we have had in a very long time! We try to go at least once a week to get our pizza fix! Sadly we are moving out of state soon, but when we come back to visit family and friends we will definitely make it a point to stop here to get some pizza! Thank you Kim for everything you do! You are the best!

We ordered pepperoni pizza last night while staying at resort next door. We had already heard their pizza was good and they were right. It was delicious!! I called in the order about 30 mins before they closed. The gentleman who took my order was so friendly. It took about 15 mins then my husband walked over to pick it up. They provided the pepper flakes, parmesean cheese, paper plates and napkins. The large pizza is big! We had half a pizza left and we were full. It's flavorful, perfect crust thickness and the perfect amount of crispiness. So good🍕🤌❤️! Highly Recommend😀

December 9th, 2023. Ordered pepperoni pizza and cheese bread to go. Absolutely fantastic. Another 5 star experience. June 2023: We ordered takeout from Verardi's recently and the experience was 5 start from start to finish. The person taking the order by phone was friendly, courteous, informative and efficient. The pickup process was simple, right at the walkup window. Service was fast, even though they were quite busy! We ordered a pepperoni pizza and tater kegs (which are a bit like a cross between tater tots and potato skins). We spiced ours up at home with sour cream and chives, you'll see the photos. While the pizza was absolute perfection, I have to give credit to the crust - it was really something pretty special. This crust, had an amazing taste and texture, nearly melts in your mouth. It would also make for an amazing stuffed crust experience, if they offered that (hint hint)! The cheese, pepperoni, and sauce were all equally amazing! In short - a perfect pie. I had the opportunity to speak with the owner and he was kind enough to show me around a bit. You'll see photos of the new indoor seating they now offer. They still have picnic tables outside. The views of Douglas Lake are amazing. Be sure to try them out, and keep coming back - Verardi's is really food to drive for!

Absolutely perfect country drive place to stop snd eat! They were actually closed but owner fired up stove and made us a wonderful homemade pizza. Over look of lake snd friendliness was tops. We ll be back soon. Donna from Richmond Ky

About 3 miles off of I-40. Dine in or carry out window. When I say this is the best pizza I’ve ever had….it was very very good. Ordered a second pie to take home for later. The owner/server was super friendly and hospitable. As usual I forgot to take photos but trust me….if you want a nice, peaceful, pizza joint - this is it! Will definitely return next time we pass through.

Honestly I was so disappointed with our pizzas this past time we went. We spent $77 for 2 pizzas and 2 orders of tater kegs. The tater kegs were amazing as always but the pizzas were very disappointing for the price we paid for them. We use to love going there because the toppings they added actually made it worth the price but not this past time. There were barely any toppings on it. After driving as far as we did (because we don't live locally anymore) and spending what we did (I could have gotten double the pizzas locally and been equally disappointed) I wanted to cry. I'm not sure what happened during the period they were closed for that extensive amount of time but something changed. I use to recommend this place to everyone but I won't be anymore. Would definitely get the tater kegs again if we are that way but not a place I will go that far out of my way for again. They really use to have the best pizza but not anymore 😞 It didn't even taste the same either. Like I said, I don't know what happened during that time period but I hate that they lost our business because we used to LOVE their pizza and definitely the tater kegs.

We usually get pizza here often and loved it but last night Sept 10th we ordered a pizza and I must say we were not impressed by it at all. It's like they changed it. It had more sauce and very little cheese. Cheese was what makes the pizza. Very disappointed but our neighbor enjoyed it.

We get pizza here every time we are on the lake. It’s the best pizza in the area, hands down, in my opinion. The mango habanero wings are our favorite. It’s worth a trip just for the wings! So good. We are making our first trip to the inside of the restaurant today but the service is always great when we order and they bring it to the dock. It’s a rare place around here I look forward to eating at and Verardi’s is one of them. 👌🏻

We went with our usual group for Friday dinner and everyone seemed pleased with it. The pizzas were good, and so were the wings. The potato kegs were interesting. Our service was great. The restaurant itself is nothing fancy. With no clutter sitting or hanging around, you could see that the place was clean. Clean, good food and good service are much more important than fancy decor. We will definitely return.

Incredibly great pizza and they will bring it down to the boat dock for you to pick up on the lake. Crust is crisp on the outside and soft in the middle and the sauce has a touch of sweetness that is just right! Highly recommend them.

Best pizza I have ever tasted! Garlic sticks are amazing. Worth the drive if you are not staying at the lake.

Great pizzas and wings! We came here after spending the day swimming at Douglas lake. My daughter said "these are the best wings and pizza in the world!" The service was wonderful too. She was very attentive and nice.

My wife and I have had pizza from New Hampshire to Florida and everywhere in between, I have to say it’s got to be one of the best, if not the best pizza I’ve ever had.

This is by far the best pizza I’ve found locally! The pizza & wings were awesome and the outside eating area was great for a warm evening! We will definitely be back

The view is nice considering that its a drought. The place smelled a bit like a chicken coop. The place it self is small. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Pizza was ok, felt a bit like frozen pizza to me.

First off, the people there were very friendly, so that's 5 stars. The pizza selection and quality were also five stars - among the best one can find this side of Knoxville. The boneless wings are big losers - they are not wings, but nuggets, and not good ones. Stay away from them. Since they have only pizza and wings, that's 1 star off. Their drink menu is so-so; they do serve beer, but only ultralight, light, or Yuengling. The big downside is they use paper plates, plasticware, and styrofoam cups! They must have a whole section of the local landfill just for their waste. That's another star off. So we are left with a mediocre place with above average pizza.
