Picked up our favorite pizza. They never disappointed!!

5 minutes to be seated @230 pm with 5 customers in restaurant. Dirty beer glass. Wings and fries with no available hot sauce or ketchup. Waitress unavailable to ask for condiments until food is cold. Manages to pop up to offer a to go box though. This pizza restaurant should make a killing next to a 420 Dispensary. Drive the few extra miles to Gilbert.

I’ve tried some of the best pizzerias in Chicago, and I have to say, Vero’s Pizza in Queen Creek holds its own against them. Coming from Connecticut, where pizza is king, I was worried I wouldn’t find anything comparable out here. Different style of Pizza but it satisfies all my expectations. After trying over eight local pizzerias (and not counting the big chains), Vero’s stands out as the best, hands down. The consistency is impressive, the sauce is spot-on, and their Inferno wings are easily the best I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for great pizza in Queen Creek, give Vero’s a try—you won’t be disappointed!

The quality of pizza here is absolutely delicious. The crust and sauce are absolutely second to none. Quality ingredients and quality service if you get Joseph!!! Joseph was the only one willing to serve our table, the other girls that are waiting tables are not friendly and never check back on you. Overall Joseph made the experience worth while and I will be back.

We have been coming here for years! We go between the thin crust and the buttered pan depending on our mood... both are amazing and remind us of sweet home Chicago! This last pizza we got with extra cheese....uhhmazing and highly recommend this upgrade... it's so good. I love to order my pizza then have a beer at the bar while I'm waiting for that deliciousness to come out of the oven! Even though there is a Vero 10 minutes from us we prefer the San Tan Blvd location better. The one on Ironwood and Ocotillo messed up my pizzas one too many times with some less than optimal customer service. Order one today you won't regret it

Ordered on line, web site doesn't except coupons. When picking up food, the order has to be canceled and re-entered. Hassle for us both. When I got home and opened the pizza box, the pizza was folded in half, with the crust burnt around the edges. Extremely disappointed. We won't be returning.

Would love to have a dining room in Maricopa but we will take what we can get! Pizza was A-mazing! So happy to have a Vero Pizza in Maricopa. I am glad to see them doing so well!

The thin crust Lakeshore Drive pizza is the best pizza ever!

We’re from Chicago and we have to say this is as close as it gets to Chicago style pizza!! First off the sausage is def Chicago style which gives it the utmost flavor. And the sauce is second to none and tastes just like home. Great job all and glad our friend lives close by so we can visit occasionally!!!

Go to weekend takeout Pizza. Online ordering is easy on their website. Friendly takeout service. Have not eaten in the dining room in a while so can’t comment tho the bar/beer choices look good.

Amazing pizza, excellent customer service. We left our electronic keys at home after driving to pick up our to go order. Turned off the car and realized we didn't have our keys. We came back in told our story to the hostess and she happily helped us find a nice spot to eat our to go order. The waitress even came by and brought us drinks. Cannot say enough good things about the wonderful team of people at Veros!

Best chicago pizza around! Try the sausage and ricatta... omg. Meatballs were also fantastic...but the bread tastes like home.

Im from back East, and i haven't found any Pizza yet that can match what i grew up eating, but there isn’t any other Pizza that can match Veros anywhere else in AZ! They have great Service, too!

Had 12 wings and french fries while waiting for Small Sears thin crusty pizza. Bit of a wait for the pizza (30 min) but was worth it. Tasted GREAT! Bit pricey ($54, $62 with tip) but with this economy about right.

Wow... I'm from out of town... and one of the best pizza places we've been too. We had a large party for graduation and they accommodated us. Amazing food and atmosphere..

Vero has the best pizza in the East Valley. Coming from IL it reminds me of home. The customer service is excellent and the food is fantastic.

I was very disappointed in the pizza we bought yesterday and the PRICE!!! .. we paid over 60.00 for 2 -14" pizzas and the meat on them was very chewy!!! I was bragging you up because we had come to your restaurant on San Tan Blvd and ate dinner in and it was very good... 100.00 for 4 people with tip! But yesterday... embarrassing!

Great pizza. Went here on the Saturday the Bears traded Justin Fields to The Pittsburgh Steelers. I didn’t know this was a Chicago place. I was happy to be wearing a Cam Heyward 97 jersey. Thanks again Chicago!!!

Good pizza, but the young teen that drives the lifted red truck cursed someone out in the parking lot before going in the back. Definitely needs to have a talk about how to represent himself and the business.

Haven’t eaten in the reataurant but we have gotten take out a couple of times and love their deep dish pizzas. The price seemed expensive before we saw/ tried it, but the pizzas are PACKED with toppings and so filling. I feel like they end up being a great value.

So excited to try a new place. Smelt amazing and patrons looked like they were enjoying their food and the music. Sadly we stood waiting next to the “wait to be seated sign” for 10 mins just to have the group behind us that just walked in get sat before us. I made mention to the hostess when she finally came over and she said she was still going to seat them first. So again disappointed but I bet the food is good just by how busy it was. Not sure however that the food would make up for the wait time or inconsiderate staff. Hoping this was only our experience.

The BEST Chicago style (deep dish) pizza I have ever had. We get Veros pizza on a regular basis as carry out. The taste and quality are always consistent. The staff is friendly but I'm more about the pizza.

Our friends had this pizza for a get together and it was absolutely amazing! From the crust to the cook to the fillings... Perfect. Flavorful!

Not our first time , garlic bread wasn’t good as usual and felt like frozen . The pizza was a bit too much cooked and not much topings . The meat balls were too salty . Very disappointed this time .

This was a delivery order. The garlic bread basket? I could have done better with frozen garlic bread. Did not match the picture advertised at all. Meatball sandwich was good. Onion rings were good, but Burger King is cheaper and has a drive through. Definitely will not order for delivery again.

This used to be the best pizza in the area. We are From Chicago the last three times we’ve ordered the pizzas have really gone down. The amount of salt used was crazy. I’m not sure if there is new staff doing the cooking, but they are definitely not following their original recipes, we are too scared to order from them again food is not cheap these days so it’s such a bummer when you get some thing that you can’t even eat because it’s so salty .

Wow this was good. Had a butter crust pizza which was incredible. Loved the vibes of the place, service was good, staff was all friendly. Definitely recommend and looking forward to going regularly.

The thin crust pizza is very good. Best in the area. Chicago style is good as well but not our thing. Try the wings. Best in the area by far as well. Good bar selection.

Good. Come early as the place gets busy

My husband and I have been enjoying this location since it opened. We love the food and the service is normally great. Yesterday my husband and I wanted to have dinner there. When the hostess asked our seating preferences I mentioned I prefer a low top due to having major back issues. The hostess proceeded to argue with me and let me know that since they were short staffed sitting at a booth was not an option. I understand that there is a server rotation and I would have been happy to wait for comfortable seating, the issue is that the hostess didn’t offer any alternatives and just argued with me. I have no desire to pay for an uncomfortable dining experience, no matter how amazing the food is. We walked out of the restaurant and won’t be back. It’s really sad because the food is pretty good.

The pizzas we got were GREAT!! We called in an order, the phone lines are very busy. If you don’t get through keep trying. It worth the wait. Call early, go early. This place is very very busy. I called at 4pm (on a Wednesday) and the wait time was already an hour to hour 15 for pizzas…for reference.

***UPDATE*** We have not once received a response from anyone at this business regarding the poor service we received nor about the staples we found in our food. I sent an email to the restaurant as well and never received a response to that. I would think that someone would want to respond to either the bad review or the email. I now believe that the ownership/management at Vero Pizza only cares about themselves and not the customer whom pays their bills. We always love to have Vero pizza when we are in town. A couple of months ago we had our usual order and my wife bite into her garlic cheese bread and had a couple of staples in her mouth that we found in the bread. We called the restaurant and they didn’t really seem concerned and finally ended up offering us 25% off our next order and they acted like they were being generous with that. Well we are back in town for the holiday and decide to order again and when I told the person about having a discount on file they said since I wasn’t ordering garlic cheese bread the discount wouldn’t apply. They said the 25% discount was only applicable to an order of cheese bread which was not the way it was explained to us when the staple incident happened. I said I wasn’t interested in cheese bread after finding staples in our last order and asked if I could use it towards our pizza order and was told no. I get stuff happens and I understand sometimes restaurants are going to have incidents where customers may find things in their food, it’s how the business handles it which is most important and Vero failed miserably. I work with many restaurants and customer oriented businesses where I live and can’t think of any business in central Iowa that would’ve handled it this way. For a family owned business you would think you would value your customers because that is who pays your bills. We come to Phoenix every couple of months and always love to have your pizza but I can not support a business who doesn’t have any integrity and doesn’t stand behind their product and service and doesn’t value their customers.

Same great pizza and place, not fully sure why they had to change name but still the best deep dish in Arizona, right up there with the best Chicago places.

When people talk about Chicago pizza, they usually are referring to the deep dish (which Vero does great). But what most people don’t realize is that Chicago has a signature thin crust as well… and Vero absolutely nails it 👌🏼 My go-to order is pepperoni and extra cheese - thank me later!

A great place to share a wonderful pizza with friends. Had the large buttercrust deep dish Sears Tower and it did not dissapoint! YUMMMM.
