Five stars is always local family run business. Absolutely the best wings for the best prices. Where can you have a party and order wings and pizzas and spend $100 I can’t even go out to dinner with me and my wife for $100 anymore.

Absolutely THE BEST WINGS EVER! Me and my dad ordered 30 wings and 2 orders of firecracker shrimp and it was just amazing. I’ve had wings from all over the world these were by far the best! The shrimp was just as good. From now on when we order food it will be from this place!

Why did we wait so long to visit this gem. What amazing and friendly service! I had an amazing Italian sub. My husband had the wings. He's pretty picky about his wings and he thought these were amazing. Nice size, great flavor! We will be back. Can't wait to try some other things on the menu.

My wife and I absolutely love this place. It is the number one go to for wings, pizza and cheesesteaks in Apopka. I grew up 100 miles from Philadelphia and let me tell you this is as close as you can get to a real Philly in Florida. The bread is fantastic and they really pile it on.

I have been ordering food from this establishment for a very long time. The wings will ALWAYS be my favorite item on the menu. I moved to the next county over, but I will go out of my way to grab some delicious wings! The pizza is pretty darn good, too!

I happily recommend Cafe Verona! My family and I have been customers for many years. They have delicious food, a clean and friendly environment, and wonderful service.

Ordered delivery tonight 5/3/24. It’s the first time we tried this place and the last time. Ordered a calzone and chicken ziti Alfredo. The pasta dish was terrible. Took two bites and threw it away. The garlic break was a soft hoagie bun with garlic and butter. The calzone was edible at best. The funnel cake fries were chewy. Not sure how you accomplish that. Must have been fried in the morning and served 18 hours later. When I called to let them know they were rude and non-accommodating. There are much better local options than canned sauce and cheap noodles.

The Chicken Parm, Garlic Bread and Salad with house made vinegrette are absolutely incredible!!! Thank you Bridget for the warm hospitality and DELICIOUS FOOD!!!! We will definitely be back!!!

We (Southern Cycles) have been getting our Saturday lunches for all the guys in the shop here for over 8 years now and they have always been great! We normally get their wings, which are the best in town, but occasionally get their pizza or subs, these are as well exceptional! Thank you Cafe Verona for your many years of continued service to our wonderful town of Apopka!!

Read about this place online. Great reviews so I tried it. Ordered two Sausage subs, one with Mariana sauce + mozz and the other with peppers, onions & mustard. 5 super Stars! I could taste everything equally & it is delish!. Oh and this place has Muffulettas! Next time for sure!

When you're in Downtown Apopka make a point to visit Verona Cafe. Great takeout and dine in options for high quality hot and cold sub sandwiches, pizzas, salads, and dinners. Atmosphere is very simple but you will love the food so don't miss out. I recommend the Philly Cheese Steak. Delicious, reasonably priced, and generously portioned.

Awesome local family owned restaurant. We ordered a large deluxe pizza and spaghetti. The pizza was great! I didn't try the spaghetti, but the fact that my wife and daughter didn't leave any remaining tells me it was also good. Happy to have found this place and will certainly be my go-to pizza place!

First time eating here. Placed take out order for 12" meatball sub, 12" Italian sub and calamari. Order was ready when I arrived. Subs were much larger than expected and had good amount of meat and topping. Calamari was crisp and tender. Order was correct as ordered. Will be returning.

We discovered this hidden little gem by accident & have enjoyed the pizza & cheesesteaks so far. The pizza is in the top two we have found in the Apopka area & the cheesesteak sandwiches are the best even though they don't have the option of cheese-whiz. We're from Philly so we know good cheesesteaks. Great taste, great portions, great prices!

One of the gems of Apopka 💎. Easy access to location. Very clean & pleasant staff. Food...SOOOOOO GOOOOD! I got a small Deluxe Calzone that could fed a family of 3. Filled with filings and cheese. Crust so tender...delish 😋. 💯% recommend this location.

I have been going to Verona's for over 10 years and I have to say that it is a pleasure. During that time have I have invited my wife, friends and family. The food is delicious and The owners are always welcoming. I highly recommend Verona's!!

Wanted to order delivery and on their website it said delivery range is 6 miles im at 4.8 miles and they said they don't deliver to my area talk about false advertising. It wasn't the hour wait. It was that you said we don't deliver there and when I mentioned that on your website it said 6 miles that's when you said we will do it today cause we are not busy. Didn't want to take a chance on it after that comment from you.

Nice local hole in the wall. Great place to get takeout from. Prices are fair, and you definitely get what you pay for. Beats getting a pizza from a big chain delivery restaurants.

Never heard of this place before. Moved here last year and today was my first pizza and cannoli I got and I’m never eating pizza at any other place besides here from now on. The crust is amazing and the toppings were very good as well (I got the meat pizza). Good price for the size of the pizza and the cannoli is also amazing. Very glad I found this place

Always great food at an affordable price

I hate to be negative but this was really bad. We ordered cafe Verona from grub hub and we ordered the chicken Alfredo and mozzarella sticks and cheesecake for dessert. It's also came with garlic bread. I'm fairly certain the "Alfredo" was from a jar. It was runny and flavorless. Even my kids refused to eat it. The chicken it came with also seemed like some sort or pre-packaged meat cut into cubes. It was very rubbery. The mozzarella sticks were hard and the garlic bread had so much oregano on it that it was inedible. The cheesecake was not homemade and was hard and tasteless. We had high hopes when ordering and we're trying to support local but poor quality food won't get them far.

This place has best Subs ever . The pizza is great if you don’t like a real saucy pizza. Cheesesteaks are amazing here . There is nothing bad about this place . I’m usually pretty tough on my reviews and this place just hits the spot everytime I’ve been . Love it . Love it . Love it

This is a great small business restaurant! While visiting the area, we had meals from Verona's twice. The first time was as a delivery. The pizza was good, and the calzone was huge...and it was the smaller size! Delivery was quick and easy. Our second meal was a pick-up order. They were really busy so we ordered a pizza and a fettuccine Alfreda dish to be picked up. The pizza was even better than the previous one, and the pasta dish was rich and creamy. The meal came with bread and a small salad. Everything was excellent. I ate here previously a few months ago and I didn't mind having their food again this visit.

I had the deluxe NY style pizza. It had generous toppings, and was delicious! I will be going back.

This is my favorite place! The food is always fresh and delicious! Customer service is always awesome. Best eggplant I have ever eaten in all of Florida. The pizza is perfect everytime. Prices are extremely reasonable. Since I found it, I probably order here 3x a week now. Never have been disappointed.

I had heard about how good the cheese steaks were here and had to try it out! I also got a side of fries and the order of funnel fries. It was packaged to perfection with each item securely wrapped for perfect travel home! The cheese steak was some of the best I've had and the funnel fries were AMAZING! I will definitely be returning soon.

Verona supported our church - gracepoint Church in honoring the name of the fireman Austin Duran who was killed in 2022. Our church fed the replacement fireman from all over the county who stepped in for the Apopka fireman, so that the fireman in Apopka could attend Austin's procession throughout town. Verona was so helpful and their service was outstanding. I will personally use them again.

We got a white cheese pizza with garlic as topping. The garlic added as a topping was the kind you buy in the grocery store. (The kind that tastes like it had been soaked in formaldehyde.) Too bad Verona's does not use FRESH garlic. Garlic bulbs really don't cost that much! I wasn't told you'd be using the non oil-based kind. Had I thought to ask, I wouldn't have ordered the pizza knowing what KIND of garlic you use!

Fantastic food and friendly service!!! I got the fire cracker shrimp and a Greek salad. Delicious and homemade sauce on shrimp. Salad was huge and dressing one of the best. My Husband had the cheese steak sub, it was large enough for two meals, bread very soft and tasty. It was gone before I could get pictures. This place has been here a long time and now I know why.

While looking for a place for wings, this place popped up. While looking at the reviews, i found they also have excellent cheese steak Sandy's. Well, i was a bit skeptical so thought id try one and be dang it was pretty darn good. Not the best I've had but pretty close to the top. Highly recommend the cheese steak. Oh and the wings are pretty good too.

This place is the bomb. We usually just get pizza or Stromboli from here. We decided to change up our order. We got chef salads....amazing. Chicken parmesan had enough for 2 days and hubby got the philly sub. All the good was delicious. Can't wait to order again.

I’ve ordered here three times this week. Every time the lady is sooo sweet answering the phone . I always order ahead so soon as I get there my food be ready. The garlic wings were sooo good and the pizza rolls were huge and fresh . The guy don’t really have great customer service he doesn’t great you or anything but the lady be knowing what I ordered when I walk in !! Love her n the food

LOVE their food best service I've been a customer for many years in fact back in the day every Friday I would buy two hundred wings for my customers at bar 100 for early day time and 100 for late afternoon time for MY customers MY appreciation for there tips and helping me pay my bill's my Fridays were always packed they loved those wings

Really cute restaurant! The atmosphere is adorable and I have never seen such clean tables. (My kids crawl all over the place and there was nothing gross.) Cheese pizza was good. I can't wait to go to Kit Land Park again so we can have lunch here again and try something different.

Encontré el Café Verona hoy después de haber sido referido por un amigo. Algo escondido en una calle lateral, entramos al mediodía y encontramos el lugar vacío, excepto Bridget, el propietario. La gente entraba y salía con frecuencia para pedidos de comida para llevar. El restaurante es pequeño, con dos áreas de descanso y una parte separada para llevar. Nos sentamos inmediatamente. El menú era grande, y tenía favoritos italianos, alitas, sandwiches, ensaladas e incluso una muffuletta. Las sodas llegaron en latas, con un vaso y hielo. El orden de las setas fritas llegó rápidamente, con un lado de aderezo ranch. Estuvieron bien. Pedimos un calzone y una sub salchicha italiana. Conseguí un pequeño calzone, que fue suficiente para el almuerzo y para llevar a casa para la cena. Su salsa es magnífica, sabrosa, rica. El calzone estaba lleno de queso y mis complementos. La masa era perfecta, escamosa, masticable y maravillosa. La salchicha y pimiento sub fue perfecto. Trajimos la muffuletta a casa para cenar, y como nunca he tenido una antes, solo puedo decir que esto fue absolutamente maravilloso y que volveré pronto para tomar una caliente del horno. Y luego quiero ir a Nueva Orleans por uno también. El almuerzo de hoy fue fantástico. Regresaré al Café Verona. La comida es muy buena, los precios son muy razonables, el servicio fue excelente y no había multitudes. Este es definitivamente un lugar para probar.

Locally owned sandwich pasta and pizza shop good food good customer service may not look that clean on the outside but the inside is actually a nice clean establishment they do offer delivery and prices are very reasonable I have very rarely have an issue with the wrong order and they take care of you especially if you become a regular customer they are very friendly and very open to new customers coming in

A great place to visit for homemade local food. Small family business that has great food and friendly employees. Our food was served quickly, fresh and very hot. They have a great variety of pasta, seafood, deserts, and drinks. We were checked on regularly to see if we needed anything. Our experience was great and we will keep coming back.
