This is the best Thai restaurant I have tried in Alaska. Too bad it’s all the way in Homer (I live in Anchorage) or else I’d be eat all the time! The food tasted fresh and the spices and flavors were right on point.

The food is amazing! The service is spot on, there is a very enjoyable atmosphere. Nice for family’s and people of all ages. You can order in or order to go whichever is more convenient, the cook time is very reasonable, great for lunch and dinner.

Amazing food, this place is probably my favorite restaurant in Homer. The yellow curry is a personal favorite, but any of the noodle dishes are quite good as well. The crab ragoon is heavenly, and the iced thai tea is my favorite drink in Homer. I cannot stress how much joy Vita's food gives me. My main issue is that the food can be expensive, but I think it's worth it. I tend to eat here when it's a special occasion only. 10/10, thank you so much for this wonderful restaurant.

Always fantastic food and great staff. We drive 3 hours (from Seward) to get this food since most of the food spots in Seward are disgusting and overpriced. Been there 6 times this winter season and every time it's 5/5 stars

Vida’s is our first choice for date night always. The staff is so friendly and the food is authentic and yummy. They have a clockwork system for takeout, but eating in is equally nice, as the establishment is sparkling clean. I feel so lucky that we Homerites have Vida’s in our community.

We are fortunate to have 3 awesome Thai restaurants in this town. Though this place has some of the BEST Thai food I've had. Beautiful atmosphere, good service, amazing food.

Great food at a very reasonable price compared to most of the other restaurants we ate at while in Homer, Alaska. Most prices we found to be 'tourist inflated' similar to other tourist destinations. If you want to eat, you pay the price. Many will say it's because the goods required to run a restaurant in Alaska cost more because of its remote location on the globe -- but when the price of the seafood that is coming right out of the waters where many of these establishments are located is the most expensive item on the menu... Really appreciated the staff and owners at Vida's for providing great food at a price point that made the enjoyment of the meal all that much better.

Vida's was described to me as the best Thai food in Homer, and I'm inclined to agree! The portions were generous and the quality was excellent. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting.

The best chili oil I've ever had. Mixed vegetables, drunken noodles and pad Thai were great. The only problem is they do not have their liquor license! Otherwise great place.

Stopped in while in town for work. Since I couldn’t decide whether I wanted pad see ew or panang curry, I ordered both The food was very good. The pad see ew was delicious as was the curry. Two small critiques, the curry had green beans in it which wasn’t bad but it was a little different, the noodle dish was great but lacking the smoky flavor the dish is known for. In their defense, most miss this outside of Thailand 4/5 The prices were very fair as well as the portions. 5/5 The service was top notch. The owner waited on my table and was attentive and diligent 5/5 I didn’t use the bathrooms so nothing to report there.

We order from Vida's often and have tried many dishes and love them all. Delicious Thai food and very friendly staff that will get your food out quickly. Thank you for being open in the winter!! Highly recommend.

had the pho. broth is good but the best part was all the accouterments. basil, lime, bean sprouts and cilantro. it was on point.

DOUBLE CHECK IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES. The food is very good and service is great the reason I don’t give them five stars is because the menu has a selection of gluten free food marked on the menu that isn’t accurate. The food I ordered I was stoked about because it said GF right on it, and said it was made with ramen noodles which I assumed meant rice ramen, and when it came out it was clearly breaded noodle and I asked if it was gluten free and she said it wasn’t. Luckily it was something obvious to me that showed that it wasn’t gluten free otherwise I would be having a very different/terrible experience for the rest of the night and following days as I am severely celiac. They really need to update the menus, we were also charged extra(only a dollar, no biggie) on one of the items. That wasn’t a big deal to us, but it was another thing we noticed was probably not updated on the menu. If you don’t have any dietary issues, it’s great Thai food. If you do, double check with the staff before ordering.

Best Thai food in the state so far. I repeatedly had the "Ginger" entree with rice. It was surprisingly loaded with a generous amount of ginger. I selected brown rice to go with it. The pictures of the food on this menu look typical but the food is definitely better than your average Thai place in Alaska. Yes, I would drive from Anchorage just to enjoy eating out here. Beware, the word is out. My friend & I saw other repeat guests there besides ourselves. You may have to wait for a table but it is worth it!

I ordered teriyaki chicken and crab rangoons. I have no idea what kind of chicken it was. But certainly was not teriyaki. The crab rangoons were really good tho. I got my money back for the chicken. And ate elsewhere. I do recommend the rangoons there ! And I'm sure other food is good. Everyone else was happy with the food from what I saw.

Came here years ago and loved it so I'm back now with a review! Also had several local brewery staff say this was the Thai spot for Homer. Lime Thai tea is delicious, still haven't seen this too many other places. Fresh/summer rolls were excellent, although I wish I had tried the lime shrimp ones. Pineapple Curry with Salmon was excellent, "mild plus" was just the right heat for me, the flavors were all wonderful, large portion too. Glad I sprang for the salmon. Very fast service and food, so many to go orders were ready to pick up while I was there too.

Excellent Thai food, spice level is right spot on, service is excellent. I had the duck curry with brown rice. They close early though, closed at 7:30pm while we there.

Good food and love the eaay online ordering system. Food was ready in 15-20min for pickup! Pretty close to authentic thai food, considering how limited ingredients can be here in Homer.

I drive 4.5 hours from anchorage at least twice a month just for Vida’s!!! Thai food doesn’t get any better than this! 1000/10 recommended

Such an amazing meal!! Homemade veggie egg rolls were amazing!! The main meals as well.. took us back to Thailand in Alaska. Definitely worth stopping by!!

My food was good. My fiancee's too garlicky. The prices on the menu were different from the prices actually charged. Big kicker was it gave me food poisoning. Had to go to ER and get 2 bags of fluid for dehydration after copious evacuations of my bowels. Hopefully they get a health inspection visit soon.

Sweet little Thai restaurant in Holmer, Alaska. Enjoyed the spicy vegetarian Thai fried rice with fried tofu.

For a Friday night dinner, we definitely didn't have long to wait for a table. Sometimes that's not a good indicator when trying something new. We did wait a little bit extra for our food to come out. But it was hot, spicy and flavorful. The restaurant itself was quite a bit warm! Loved the decor and the staff was super nice.

The staff seemed friendly enough whenever I first arrived, the food that I received was not the best in the world but I figured as much for Homer Alaska, and the end when it was time to pay my bill, it was much higher than it should have been, and when I asked why , the owners told me that there is a disclaimer on their menu that allows them to change their pricing whenever they want, I've never seen that before in a restaurant, they can charge you as much money as they want without telling you anything, I would recommend not eating here and choosing somewhere else in homer to eat.

Foods good. Google says they're open, their VM recording day they'll be back on the 18th. Today is the 21st and I'm not able to get ahold of anyone to see if they actually are open and serving dine-in.

Wow super delicious! I'm picky about Thai food and this is spicy and fresh! Will definitely be eating here again! I live 30 miles away from the restaurant, I asked them to make everything super hot so it would be warm when I got it home and it was!service was fast, since it's to go only they even brought out to my truck!

Online ordering and large portions. Ordered mild spice which was not no spice like many other restaurants, however the mild kids chicken teriyaki was no spice.

Vida is amazing! She stayed open after they closed to allow us to place a take out order. Alot of the restaurants close early and it we so appreciated her allowing us to order. In addition she was able to accommodate our gluten free order for our son. She made some dishes gluten free that weren't regularly made that way. We came here 2 days in a row because the food was so good. The pad see-ew and the pad Kee mao are amazing. I want to try everything on the menu, but unfortunately we don't live in Alaska.

The best vegan thai food in the city! We ordered the crispy spring rolls, Pad Kee Mow and Basil Stir Fry with rice. Our server took special care to address our dietary restrictions and made excellent food suggestions. The food came out hot and tasty. Everyone was super friendly. 11/10 would love to come back again!

Best Thai food in the Homer area! Ordered the Pad Kee Mao and Pho and both were delicious. Also, very friendly service! We ate outside on the patio and the owners kept checking in on us and even turned on the outdoor heater for us. Highly recommend.

Everything we have tried here is incredible but we absolutely love the pad thai. The service is also amazing. They show great care to their customers.

Beef Pho with basil, sliced jalepenos, bean sprouts, and plum sauce and Sriracha sides. My most ordered meal in Homer. My Homer chicken noodle soup for the soul during the cold weather.

After traveling in Thailand, Vida's is where I go for my Thai favorites. Perfectly cooked salmon also which was impressive.

Ordered the pad Thai with chicken.. wasn’t bad wasn’t special. $17 seemed a little steep.

This place is the real deal! The Pad Thai is on point. The Panang is darn near perfect. There are a few things that really made me happy - one is that they ask you how spicy you want each dish. I got everything hot and it's done just right. It's spicy, but the flavors of the dish still come through nicely. The other is the ease of online ordering. It's simple and they give you every option imaginable. I highly recommend Vita's. I'll definitely be back!!!!

We absolutely love Vida's :) Their workers are very nice, hard working, and efficient. We enjoy their food, especially the fried rice. You can tell a lot of heart goes into this establishment. Definitely give them a try!

Had their pineapple fried rice and it was nice!

Rating is for vegan food options : Ordered a yellow curry with rice, pineapple fried rice. The taste was good but for the curry they could cut the vegetables into smaller eatable pieces. And pineapple fried rice was above average. Portions for fried rice was very good. Glad to find a vegan option in Homer Their service can definitely be improved given that they were taking only phone orders. Would rate a 3/5 there.

This place was a pleasant surprise. We have plenty of excellent Thai places in Chicago, and I admit, I wasn't expecting much from little Homer, Alaska. But this turned out to be some of the best Thai food I'd had, better than most of the restaurants in Chicago. Service was excellent and we had a pleasant dinner. Will definitely drop by here again next time I'm in Homer.

After moving from Portland, OR where there is amazing Thai food on every corner, I was pleasantly surprised to find authentic Thai at Vida's in Homer, AK. Vida is a vibrant and wonderful person who makes each guest feel welcomed. They provide fresh vegetables and rich flavors in every dish. Their hot scale is fairly high, so if you're spicy-sensitive, go for the mild and ask for the spice jars to add to your level of spicy. We like to go to Vida's for special occasions because their decor is so warm and beautiful. There's everything to love about Vida's. I highly recommend.
