Bees and honey were always part of my childhood, my father and my grandparents loved that work from which I learned a lot. And the Walker Honey Farm brought back many memories. It's an amazing place.

Walker's used to have bees on my parents ranch, and that's how I was first introduced to this delicious honey. We continue to purchase the different varieties of honey, and absolutely love the orange blossom, wildflower, and brush. The most recent visit we purchased a candle and it smells so wonderful and REAL. No artificial fragrance smell.

Always a pleasure to make a trip there and get our sweet treats!

Great place! Tasting? Check. Wine? Check. Beer? Check. Rootbeer? Check. Tours? Why not! Hell, they even have snacks. Plus honey and other stuff. And you can boon dock in your RV!

I usually go there to fill up our honey jars and see what's new honey wise. Their selection is awesome. The only thing this time there was a light skin woman at the register and she was new or didn't care. The curly woman with the dark skin was super nice and helpful. You should really train and follow up how the staff treats guests. We were treated as if we were at walmart and not at our " let's drive for an hour just to fill up this jars with honey favorite place. Am just saying keep an eye on your employees because one of them has very little to no people skills. We went from let's go get honey and some drinks at the super nice place to We got our jars full let's go somewhere else kinda people.

What a great place! The employees couldn't have been nicer. A free wine tasting to boot! everything we sampled was excellent! Would absolutely stay again.

Best in Texas, Honey Farm and Winery! So many different honeys! Our favorite is the Mesquite honey. Some of the best fresh ground honey peanut butter! Hatch Green Chili Honey is an amazing glaze for chicken. Go get you some!

The best honey farm for miles. They give free honey samples and even samples of their wine and mead. They have amazing customer service. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They have handmade items and products that support local farmers. I've been going there for many years and love their seasonal selection.

Such a beautiful place! A wide variety of products including honey choices, soaps, and candies. They also home ferment mead in different flavors. The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly about their products, too. I highly recommend taking the tour that is offered, too.

We drove down to visit this place at my mother's request for her birthday. This made for a nice little day trip from Fort Worth. The farm has a huge store full of all sorts of honey goodness in all kinds of flavors. They even have massive urns where you can pour your own. I absolutely loved the orange blossom honey. My favorite feature, though, has to be the window into one of their bee colonies. The comb is visible and you can safely watch the bees doing their thing. We ended up doing the wine tasting and cheese tray. I usually love mead, but honestly there were very few flavors I liked. Most were VERY strong, and I ended up drinking them like shots to get it over with. Seating is all outside, which was a bit warm. I do wish they had indoor seating. I would like to go back and give it another go, as I do love mead. I just need to find the right one for me.

It was very nice! I loved spending the morning walking around.

Saw this place on the side of the road and decided to stop to get some local honey. Then saw it was a winery too! Bonus !!! They had an assortment of honey to choose from. All our good but my fave was the mesquite flavor. Then for the tasting. Visitors have the option of 2 samples or purchase 6 sample flight for $10.00 that comes with a complimentary wine glass. They had assortment of honey infused wine & margaritas, grape only wine , mead, and root beer. My favorite was the strawberry rose and the watermelon/honey rita was crisp. The lady working was very helpful and attentive. I also purchased some homemade honey soaps that smell divine. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

I love the products here. The soaps and meads are great. The honey is delicious! There are samples so you can pick out which one you like best. So why only three stars? Because everyone is obnoxiously rude. Everyone I've spoken with there, either on day to day business or their special events, has been a jerk. Good luck if you have questions. I only buy a couple of things per visit, so maybe I don't spend enough to qualify for the polite treatment.

My wife and I absolutely loved this place. The set up is amazing. We love honey, coming to this place was worth every second of being there. Love all the different types of honey, creamed honey, tasted some mead. Bought some honey and souvenirs. Will definitely be coming back. The staff was super friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. Loved being able to taste test all the honey products before we bought. Thank you al for the great experience. Will see you again.

I've been to this store almost a half dozen times and each time it is exactly what we expect - clean with polite and helpful staff. It's well worth the 1 hour drive we make each way. I must have read at least a half-dozen bad reviews between here and Yelp and I must say that I'm surprised because their comments are 180 degrees opposite of our own multiple experiences. While it is true that any retail location could have an "OFF" day, it is also true that some people cannot be pleased regardless. I suspect this may be the case with these reviews. It's a small business but they still manage to stay open 7 days a week which we appreciate since would could never get there during the week due to work schedules. If you like honey, take your own clean quart jars (or larger) and save some money plus help out the environment. We always take several quart jars so that we can get multiple flavors. But I always run out of the Mesquite honey first and then have to wait until we run out of the others before we can make another trip. Google the directions and use MAPS for turn by turn directions. Otherwise it's possible to drive right past the place until you know what you're looking for.

Honey and Wine! Nicole spent the time to teach us about the bees and the honey production as it relates to their wine. And then she took us on a wine description tour of their many unique wines. This was one of our favorite stops touring wineries.

Went to the farmers market and decided to do the tasting at the shop, was better than I expected. The best sangria I ever had on tap and everything that was recommended for me to try was very good. I also purchased their rose soap, and creamed blackberry honey, the soap smells so good and the creamed honey is tasty. Looking at honey cookie recipes to use it on. Plus the nostalgia of having honey straws ☺️

Went to the farmer's market Walker's put on for Memorial Day. It was packed. Lots of vendors...produce, arts and crafts, artisan foods. And the honey, wine, and mead Walker's sells was all available.

We went for the first time a few days ago. I had been wanting to go after seeing it on my way to Houston. It's easy to spot off the road. The staff were very friendly and offered information about local honey/types. My son truly loved the free samples. There were more things in the store than I thought there would be. My only wish is that they sold jellies as well. Overall, very positive experience.

We stopped on the way back home and we bought all kinds of honey, the place is very nice and very welcoming, they have so many choices of honey and other natural product, plus Rebecca is so nice and such a good customer service she answered to all our questions and she is really passionate about her job, she have very good knowledge about bees, honey and merch they carry at the shop. So yes if you need some natural healthy sweet go for it walker honey is a choice I am highly recommend.

Love honey and this place! My friend had never been in the store before, so we took some time and wandered around looking at the many flavors of honey. The very helpful employees answered our questions and offered samples of a few we wanted to taste. Today we purchased a jar of Clover <<(light and sweet) and a jar of Buckwheat <<(dark rich with antioxidants and molasses tasting) honey. We'll definitely be back with our own jars to refill next time😁

Joe and I travel here every two months or so to pick up gallons of honey at a time. Always a wide selection of honeys. You can purchase gallons (bring your own gallon container for discount) or purchase a beautiful item from their store. They also sell mead wine.

Not only do they have amazing products but they also have amazing staff. I had a flat tire in front of their store today and they were so helpful with both my tire and by being great with my kids.

Martin and Linda's daily lunch adventure has taken us to the country for a nice end of year wine tasting and cheese. We eat there and bought some honey, T-shirts and other goodies to take home. It was a fun day.

Purchased their peanut and honey on line the day after Christmas as a gift for my granddaughter. They were very prompt in shipping it to me. When we received it we tried it. Could not taste the honey and the peanuts tasted stale like they were very old. We could not stand the flavor. Text Walker's and no response

I was a vendor at the Fall Farmer's Market; it was a wonderful day, I had fun and it was profitable.

Went for a farmers market, however, of the vendors, only three were even selling produce. The vast majority of the fair were crafters selling their crafts. While this is fine, the event could have been labeled appropriately as an arts and crafts fair rather than a farmers market. Disappointed at the lack of farmers at “farmers markets”

Wonderful little shop full of every conceivable thing you can make from honey! Absolutely worth a stop if you're driving by, but even worth going out of the way for!

Visiting the honey farm on a normal day is worth it. Great honey, wonderful people, tasty mead and wine blends. I visited on the farmers market day. It was fun, different vendors then I generally see. It was easy to get into and out of.
