Hidden gem! Big portions, cheap prices and super friendly staff.

So glad we chose to eat lunch here. The food was great. The service was awesome. Will be going back next time we're in town. Portions are amazing, and their desserts are delicious!!

Visited this quaint restaurant while on a getaway weekdnd. Great food and wonderful service. The portions were huge and everything was hot and fresh.

Enjoyed breakfast Monday morning , everything was delicious and food came out fast and hot . Prices were very reasonable, will definitely return to try more items from the menu

This is a spot missed. Do you love quaint little hometown cooking? Wheelers is beyond tasty and with flavor in both food and atmosphere. Stop in!

Fresh as can be everything. They had sweet potato fries that I liked. I like sweet potatoes but usually don't like sweet potato fries but these were perfect char on the edges and just incredibly good. I don't trust any food if somebody can't make a hamburger good. I had the gouda bacon BBQ Burger and it was as good as the burgers I've ever had! I love the atmosphere with a truly old building. I'm so used to everything being brand new and this is the original building from 1929. Well worth the visit.

Their double burger was huge and cooked just right. Willow was our server and she was great and so kind! We have eaten here several times and the food is always awesome and the service is great!

Really nice, clean and cute! My husband is a vegetarian and was pleased to see a veggie burger on the menu! I had a regular burger! You could tell it was hand made and not a frozen patty! Fries were so good and prices were excellent! Great service really enjoyed!!

42.07 for 3 people. 2.75 for a small side of watered down gravy . Frozen burger. Not to mention waited 10mins to be even acknowledged. Haven't been since Debbie Browning owned it but won't be back.

Wheelers is a small little restaurant with a big warm heart with a cozy little atmosphere. The meatloaf I had for dinner was enough to feed 2 people. Met some great friends in Arcadia at Wheelers. This is the perfect quaint place for a delicious breakfast or lunxh. Portions are huge and food was cooked perfectly. I couldn't eat another bite until I heard they have the best peanut butter and chocolate pie- somehow I found room to finish the whole pie. Highly recommend

I give this place 6 out of 5 stars. =) This is one of my favorite places in Arcadia to eat. When you walk in to Wheeler’s, it’s not just about food, although the food is good, but more spiritually, it’s the atmosphere. It’s the idea that you’re sitting in a place where five generations of families have sat and eat and gossiped and dreamed. They talked about farming. They talked about the railroad. They talked about medicine. They talked about Edison and Ford. Young and old, black and white, rich and poor, first generation Americans, and families whose family’s fought in the revolution. They have all sat hear and been fed. So when you come in, don’t be in a hurry. Sit down and relax and absorb the history and bring a friend. Talk about good times. Talk about old times. Tell good stories. I have to be honest with you, I’m a sucker for those cat head biscuits and peanut butter pies and those little jars of grape jelly. Matt, you’re doing a great job. Keep up the good work my friend.

Took a ride out to find a place that feels like home and has the same in the warm welcome. Found it and had a filling breakfast, if it were a drink it would be a southern sweet tea!

Found this place while going between antique shops. The food was delicious and hot, the staff were courteous and attentive, oh and the food was DELICIOUS. Anyone who goes NEEDS to try the Mac N' Cheese bites.

I had the best beef brisket that I have ever had since mom made it for me.

New review for new owners. Yummy I had the best Beef brisket in decades there. Thanks to the chef and we were early and waited for it. It was worth the wait let me tell you. I can not wait to see what they have this Friday for dinner.

My first time visiting this quaint little Cafe, Visiting at breakfast time. The food was excellent and just like homemade. The staff was friendly and gave us adequate time to make up our minds on our meals. The Sunday morning we visited, there seemed a stead stream of customers, it seemed to me that as soon as one of the tables were empty someone would walk through the door and fill the empty table. That is always a good sign the food is worth stopping in for I would definitely return if I am back in the area.

Went for breakfast, missed it but a nice surprise when we got the special mushroom swiss burger. Absolutely delicious!

The real deal if you're looking for a diner. The peanut butter pie has a long history. Very authentic historic ambiance and good food. They are now open evening Thursday through Saturday. They run out of the "daily special" .

A very cute place and a lovely day to sit outside for breakfast We both had the Spanish omelette with a biscuit which was moist and flavorful. The omelette however was short on flavor; disappointing.

Lousy service. Waited 1 1/2 hours until we were informed that it would at least another 20 minutes. 2 hamburgers, a BLT and cheese sandwich taking nearly 2 hours to prepare? We finally left. Our antiques shopping trip was made really rotten because of this.

Our vegetable plates were seasoned perfectly and the coconut pie was heavenly . We were served at the little tables outside as the place was packed . Reasonable priced . Friendly service . The wait was understandable . Hats off to the cooks and staff .

Used to come here 10+ years ago. Garbage. Store hash browns. Nothing home made. Will never come back. This experience just crapped on my memories of when I used to work in the area.

Just ok. Server asked how we wanted our burger and chop steak cooked. We said medium rare. Both came out well done.

There were 3 of us on a Sunday morning. We did not mind the stools facing the street so did not have to wait for a table. We took a quick peek at the menu and all decided on biscuits and gravy. They were out of gravy!. So 2 ladies had breakfast burritos and I had french toast. It was delicious, made with Texas Toast, but not very hot. The burritos were declared good and the coffee very good.

Great little place with lots of history off the beaten path. Nice cream pies. Very nice people working there.

We really wanted to try this very quaint cafe. Once greeted by our waitress was given drinks, told specials, then was ignored for twenty minutes as she cleared other tables. If this is the reception customers receive they really don’t need your business.

When you walk in the door there is a large sign that says “This is not a fast food restaurant.” Well, it certainly isn’t. Today my brother & I waited over an hour for 2 burgers! My dad used to take me here when I was a child & we lived in Arcadia. The only thing here now are fond memories. We won’t be back…the service is just way too slow. So long Wheelers.

Went there this morning got horrible service. the waitress had no clue what she was doing my food was cold and missing my corn beef hash took 15 minutes to get corn beef hash that was supposed to come with meal.. worst experience ever dealing with wheelers used to be a great place to eat. Not sure what's happened to it recently..

We came in with intentions of giving a $100 tip to whatever server we got, as we do often as a pay out fwd . We ended up Sitting there for 30 min s as more people came in and got sat and we never even got served a drink! Needless to say we finally got up and left. That Was our 2nd time going there and the first time trying it the food was nothing to brag about. Very basic and bland, but today will definitely be our last.

Different kind of place. Loved it.

Ordered 3 eggs over easy with hash browns, sausage and bacon. The bacon was chewy like jerky. The sausage is one patty filleted two appear like two. Food was bland and not worth the price paid. Others in my party didnt even eat there food.

First Time coming here and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. It’s a very cozy and welcoming atmosphere and had a very nice attentive server Elizabeth . I had a country steak and eggs the steak was nice and moist and not over cooked and dry. The sauce was perfect and not over reduced. My girlfriend had the country scramble and she absolutely loved it! Everything had a proper consistency and great flavor. We will definitely be back! Taste-10 Texture-10 Presentation-10

Food is spotty. Service is awful. They close at 2, if you call in to place an order at 1:45 they tell you they are closed. What? This is a restaurant on a street of stores. Good luck.

Have eaten there many times. When I visit Arcadia, I always plan on a meal at Wheeler's. My parents took me to this restaurant more than 50 years ago. The pies are the highlight here. Yum! LOTS of history, I believe they've been open since the 1930's. Don't miss visiting Wheeler's Cafe.

Cute restaurant. Food is supposed to be made like grandma made it. We’ll not so much. Over cooked eggs, hash browns are like McDonald’s. Service was good food not so much.

Stopped by for breakfast on the Bike. Great people, service and price. Cash only and bathroom outside but clean with plumbing, not an outhouse.

I remember going there as a kid after the rodeo or cattle auction. Meatloaf, fried cabbage and burgers are my favorite but remember to save room for the vanilla peanut butter pie!!

Food used to be better and larger portions. Staff used to be friendly. Seems once it went up for sale and didn't sell the quality took another dive. Sad, used to be my favorite little place.

Not very friendly or helpful. Probably one of the worst restaurants I've been to due to poor customer service. They also forgot my sides in my to go order.

My family came into Wheelers today to try it out. Unfortunately the food was awful. I had the chicken Philly, there was absolutely no seasoning on the Philly or on my fries. The chicken was cooked so hard it was tough. The other members of my family felt the same about their food. Unseasoned and bland. The bright spot was the sweet tea was awesome!

It was a quick stop for a cup of coffee and we end up having burgers and fries. The food was very good quality.The best burger I ever had.For sure I will come back

Alex the server and the chef did a great job!! Food was on point. The Philly cheese steak was soooo good ;My husband had to order another!! Friendly and cozy vibe. They took care of us and we all left satisfied! Oh and the peanut butter was to die for😋 Thankful we found Wheelers cafe before leaving town.

Old time Florida restaurant with home cooked American meals and awesome pies. Nice staff and waitresses. The place has been continuously in operation since the 1920-ies. Prices aren’t what they used to be 10 years ago, but what is? Wheeler’s is still very reasonable.

Very disappointed. Will not go back.
