i ordered a chicken burrito and this place skimped so hard for the price you would excpet to get more food and the burrito is literally 4 inches stay away from this place!

This was a spontaneous stop on our way home. It was really good Mexican food with an authentic environment.

SO good! We dined there tonight and were not sorry! The Chimichanga was the best I've ever had, and my husband enjoyed his tacos, too. The little store attached had such pretty potery, and a wide variety of Mexican items and treats. Prices were quite reasonable, and the servers were efficient and friendly. Quiet, clean and high quality.

The food is very delicious and as if I were in Mexico, tortilla in that hand like in Mexico, the service is excellent, the attention is I recommend eating authentic Mexican Mexican food very nice

Taco tuesday tacos are 1.50. In the taco photo is 3 Pasteur tacos, 3 ground beef. Every tuesday religiously

Not at all as advertised I'm the pictures. Have to add all your own toppings but wouldn't know that until you get home.

Food absolutely amazing. Was a little thrown off by the outside look of building. But once inside food was ordered and made fresh and on the table within 5 minutes. They portions were great. And the bag of fresh pork skins was absolutely delicious 😋

Very good authentic Mexican food and consistently so. I would love slightly bigger portions on some meals but they're still filling and delicious along with the horchata.

Best authentic Mexican food in Arcadia.

I am allergic to onions. I tried to emphasize that to the person taking out order, but she didn't seem to understand so my husband told her that I get sick from them, hoping she would understand but she still didn't. I asked if the rice had onions and she said no. After a few bites of the rice, I found a big chunk of onion. I am hoping I don't get sick. When my husband asked them about it, the manager rudely said that the rice is flavored with onions. They did not offer an alternative nor apologize for giving us incorrect information. On a positive note, the chimichanga was delicious.

Fantastic food at a great price

One of Arcadia Florida's little hidden gem reataurant. Good authentic Mexican food! Everything is cooked to order, and served fresh and hot! They have a great salsa bar that has 3 types of salsa, Pico, cilantro, onions, and limes. They have all types of softdrinks, juices, and bottled water in their reach in cooler. It also has a little store inside of it, too. Definitely try the chicken tacos. They are so amazingly good!!

I have been here 2 times the ladys up front are very snobby dont smile and for the love of God I dont speak Spanish nothing against them but there just rude.but the food is really good.i can drop an attitude quickly but I didnt.we ordered online I showed her and she was like we have nothing for u I said yes u do .so she wrote it down and was mean as hell behind it.catch ne in a bad day I will surely speak my mind

Overall the food was good. Carne Asada was a little bit on the spicy side. Could have used a larger serving of guacamole. Very skimpy spoonful.

Used to be good. Young staff change prices on you, watch out! I got my money back and left! I brought company, and they were shocked too! Price didn't match match menu! Never again!

This is the kind of hole-in-the-wall restaurant that you really don't want the word to spread, making it tough to get a table next time. The food is the star! Sooo good! There is a fancier restaurant in town, but I would rather go where the comidas reign supremo!

1st time here. I dined in. Fast service. Large dining room. Fresh food. I had ground beef tacos & the meat was seasoned well. Self serve toppings bar was available. Guacamole Salad with homemade chips was fresh and delicious. I will definitely be back. Come check them out!

Great food for a reasonable price. They have a salsa bar to add everything you would want on your tacos! You pay for chip and salsa, but the chips are great. Just a great restaurant.

This is an order at the back of the store restaurant and then go sit at a table where they bring it to you. The tostados were good but the tacos left everything to be desired. They were brought out as a lump of very greasy beef which soaked through the tortillas it was served in and puddled underneath them like a pond on the plate. There was nothing else in the tacos but the greasy ground meat. They have a hot sauce bar but there is no lettuce or cheese on it or anything else you would put on a taco. They only have soft tacos, no crunchy shells. Highly disappointing is that they snuck a 20% tip on our card without asking. Since there is no waitress and you seat yourself and get your own condiments, this is outrageous. We won’t go back. I gave the food 2 stars as my tostados were good (not great but good).

I love love going to El Charro. Thier food is truly authentic Mexican food. Thier service is awesome their wait time is understandable cause it's not a fast food place it's home made tortillas so awesome. Everyone thier is awesome. I live in wauchula and drive just to go eat thier in Arcadia location. Sad they close on Sundays best place to go after church on Sunday. I know everyone needs a day off. Definitely recommend it.I hope thier business grows bigger.

Stopped in for an early dinner. The place was empty. We ordered and sat down. My husbands food came right away but they completely forgot mine. The attitude was "oh well"

By far and away the best Mexican food I have had in the State of Florida.....I'm in Florida but it tastes like top shelf Mexican from Texas Arizona New Mexico California Colorado.......I will be back over and over and over.......

Para empezar Muy mala atención del personal La comida pésima no tiene buen sazón te dan solo tres tortillas no tienen un orden para entregar tu platillo tardan demasiado y en pausas sin cubiertos los baños muy sucios sin jabón ni papel sinceramente no lo recomiendo no sé cómo ha pasado la supervisión los cocineros no usan Guantes ni las personas que cobran ! Tomen seriedad por favor !

So disappointed. Food is mediocre. We placed our order at 7:35 by 8:49 we still hadn't gotten all of our order. The food we did get was cold and lacked flavor. If you can believe that. Chips were old and stale. El Charro has been recommended so many times and I was excited to try it. What a disappointment. There was no compensation for the mix up and I had to argue for a refund for the missing food.

Maybe they were having a bad night? Waited 40 minutes complained to the staff...they forgot to put it our order??food finally came and most items were cold...sorry el charro I really wanted a new Mexican restaurant...but never again

La persona que atiende es tan prepotente y con un consumo de más de 100 dólares aún así con su tips, y no cambió su actitud!! No nos dio mesa para comer dijo solo para llevar y las personas detrás de mi orden les dio mesa con la excusa ellos estaban antes y todas sus mesas vacías y faltando 40 minutos para cerrar, solo queríamos comer con tranquilidad! Lastima no se pueda dar cero estrellas! Hablo de la muchacha color rubio, la muchacha cabello oscuro de lentes fue la mejor para atendernos.

No frills all flavor. Have found my go to Mexican Restaurant. Just wish it wasn’t an hour away. Al pastor tacos were awesome and the salsa bar is great. May have to drive over again today!!!

Stopped in on our way home from Disney. Line was out the door. Got food very quickly. All fresh and really homemade . Well worth the wait all the way from Orlando. We decided to stop at different taco spots through all the towns. This restaurant was by far the best!!! We will be returning next time on our way back home to Marco.

This is the best place to get Mexican food in this town. The other restaurants in this town don’t come close to this place. I like how inside there is plenty of seating and you have a huge variety of drinks available. The food is delicious and the prices fair. It does get packed especially during season. But you can use their website or call ahead. Be wary though sometimes I have experienced issues with the person on the phone not taking down your order correctly and rush you on the phone.

Authentic Mexican food is hard to find in Florida always make it a point to shop here when I’m in Arcadia. Food is fresh hot done right with lots of great salsa’s and condiments available grab a cold beer and try their special.

I haven't been here in 3 years I've been craving there burritos hmmmm good muy Bueno and I went yesterday got my steak burrito its like nothing ever changed tasty fresh season well 😋 delicious still my favorite place I can eat there everyday but I live 45 min it's worth the trip

Quesa birrias estaban bien pero la salsa que te dan con las papitas estaba demasiado aguao , puro jugo de tomate sin sabor. A meter la papita salia sin color como Agua. Tenia q tirarle como 5-6 cucharas de pico y cebolla y tambien cilantro y salsa roja.
