Fun people great food its all love all around

Amazing food and portions for price, incredibly friendly as well. Atmosphere isnt great but I'm giving it a 5 anyway because of the exceptional service.

I went here last weekend before going out of town love the new building and the food is still great but the ribs are the best they are flavorful and tender will be stopping by again shortly. As they say please don’t change a thang.

Awesome place to eat, the ribs are always super tender and the sides taste like a home cooked meal. The portions are also very generous.

I’m new to the area so when I asked a friend where good jerk chicken is they Told me to try this place out and I’m so happy I did. It is so good I Haven’t had decent jerk chicken in a long time I highly suggest this place the portions are Great, and the flavor is amazing You can get any meat with two sides for only eight bucks. The mac & cheese is amazing and the collard greens are great. I’m definitely coming back to this place.

Idk what everyone else is saying but it’s NASTY if I have to season my food with Tony’s and Old Bay even the meat, that’s a problem.

My place for BBQ in Tally, When I drive over from Pensacola

This is some of the best executed BBQ I have ever experienced, and I have smoked and eaten it, all over the South. The texture is perfectly tender with not a hint of mushiness, and the Pig itself shines through a delicious smoke process. Not to be missed.

Since moving to Tallahassee 2 years ago, my wife and I have come here more often than anywhere else. The owner/employees are always very pleasant. The portions are amazing for leftovers the next day's lunch. Anything jerked here is just incredible, I'd buy the jerk sauce by the quart for home use. Go here, the prices are amazing and it is truly locally owned and operated. Seriously, go here.

Got there late, so all that was left were ribs ans potato salad. Portions were huge, and the food was great. Ate the rest for breakfast. Get there early!

Awesome BBQ, we stopped here for lunch based on Google reviews. We we had a group of 7 ppl and no one was disappointed! Excellent ribs, authentic jerk chicken, yummy side dishes all served up in just a few minutes. It was a beautiful day so we were able to enjoy sitting in the garden patio behind the truck.

I’m on deployment in Tallahassee for work. I looked up BBQ near me and they popped up as number 1 so I had to check it out. It’s a food truck right outside a gas station. I bought the Jerk Chicken, Collard Greens and Mac n Cheese. This place exceeded my expectations. I look forward to trying other dishes.

Food is so good and so reasonably priced, the portions were awesome I got 2 meals out of it, super flavorful and everybody hanging out there was so cool and sweet just a really great wholesome vibe. They definitely deserve your business we will be coming back

Jamaican jerk bbq I love this place and mr Williams he is a great person and he put love in every meal I recommend you all try his jerk flavor it is the best bbq I ever tasted in my life and I’m not from Tallahassee and I travel a lot but the jerk flavor he has is so good make you wanna slap your moma lo not for real but if u want good bbq in Tallahassee go here best in town plus I love the original set up reminds of the good old days when things was straight to the point

Man y'all will so enjoy this food William knocked it out of the park with taste quality of food, amount of food for price,it's all just ridiculously good! I paid $14 and got enough food to eat lunch and dinner lol! Whenever you are on Tharpe Street stop in to this BBQ shack and give it a try! You won't be disappointed.

Best BBQ Ever! Had a couple nights in Tallahassee so we looked up BBQ and this was rated high with great reviews. It’s in a gas station parking lot and is a small operation. The chef/pit master - Koran - is so welcoming and advised us on the sides for our 2 “plate” orders (meaning not sandwiches). We had pork ribs, and chicken. I love spices so certainly wanted the jerk style but I am not to partial to a sweet red sauce however, my husband wanted to try it so I asked Koran to put it on the side and that was not a problem. The meat is cooked with many types of wood and the best he said was punk wood. I had never heard of that so he gladly explained as he composed the plates to go. Upon opening these entrees in our motel, the aromas, the flavor, the texture… all delicious. Loved everything - the pork (fall off the bone goodness), the chicken (same as pork soft, tender and falls off the bone), both with delicious spices, the collards - great seasoning and some pork in it!, the potato salad a great cold side, beans were a nice complement and the macaroni & cheese - creamy and nice soft texture with good cheese flavor. If you want delicious BBQ served by an appreciative cook this is the place.

Incredible food. Intense smoky flavor and a great spice level that doesn't yield. The collards were outstanding as well. Great service from someone who you can tell genuinely cares, knows what they're doing and is serving the best product possible. I recommend this place all the time and will be returning myself for certain.
