Great waitresses, and very good food.

We ordered the Broasted Chicken, Pizza and Steak Sandwich. Enjoyed them tremendously. The Pizza could have been better. Not very busy at 4 PM on a Tuesday and they provided really good service. There was plenty of seating. Lots of descent priced items were available on the menu too! We're going back for prime rib on Saturday! Also, deep fried cheese curds were really good. Went back on Saturday and tried the Prime Rib covered with Mushrooms, it could have been better. The Salad Bar was ok. The fries could have been better. Two other couples I spoke with ordered the 16-ounce Rib Eye Steak and liked them over Prime Rib. I might try the Ribeye steak next time in the area! On Saturday, August 10, 2024, we came back for the Ribeye, Shrimp and Barbequed Ribs; and enjoyed very much with baked potatoes, salad bar and soup! Will increase rating for food from 4 to 5! They also had the Packers pre-season game on at 3 pm. On Sunday, August 11, 2024, we came back in the early afternoon for deep fried cheese curds, hamburgers and a Reuben Sandwich. They were all good! I was surprised they were open on Sunday, and we were just coming from the Boulder Junction Musky Jamboree, which was awesome as well! On Friday, August 30, 2024, we came back around 4 pm and enjoyed several items on the Fish Fry menu, including the Walleye, Perch and Blue Gill. This was the best Fish Fry we saw in the Northwoods! I already increased my rating from 4 to 5. By 4:30 pm all of the available tables were taken. We received our order within 5 minutes, even when they became busy.

We got there at 5pm and had to wait until 5:45pm to be seated. The food was excellent and we received our food quickly. I would highly recommend you eat here if your near the area. We loved the food and will be returning.

First time visiting this establishment and was so impressed by the food, staff and atmosphere. We were pleasantly greeted as we arrived and seated very quickly at a table with a fantastic view of the flowage. We traveled from the Minoqua area and will definitely return to try more of the extensive menu items, The cheese curds were delicious and the best I’ve ever had.

What a great find, deep in the woods. Fabulous salad bar, soups and awesome menu. Top that off with very reasonable prices. All with a lake view of big water to look at while dining. Everyone we brought to dine with us loved it.

Went on a Sunday around 4:45 pm. I don't believe they have a hostess for Sundays, so we just asked one of the waitresses and she said "just seat yourselves". Once we sat down another waitress came over promptly to get us our drinks. We both ordered the ribeye steak medium rare. The steak was cooked perfectly, it was like cutting through butter. Salad bar wasn't bad either. The potato, bacon and ham soup was to die for. Definitely will be back again..

The food is amazing! We both had the 16 oz Ribeye, outstanding. The owners are friendly, they sure know how to serve fantastic food and drinks! Highly recommend you go.

Comfortable atmosphere. The food is amazing. I loved the bacon cheeseburger soup!! The staff is wonderful. We went for the prime rib. Which was wonderful.

Soup and salad bar are so good! Then comes the fish. We had the fried cod and the fish platter. The batter was thin and so tasty!!!

Nice up north classic supper club atmosphere, great food and service with a nice view of the Willow! Recently spent a few days here while ice fishing and can't say enough, they really make you feel welcome, food was excellent and had a great time thanks Steve ! Can't wait to be back with the boat.

This is my family's go to place for family holidays, reunions, and for when I visit the area. The water view is calming and peaceful also. The menu options are definitely more "upscale" in comparison to some of the other Tomahawk area bar and grills. I might be bias towards Willow Haven though since I used to spend time as a child camping or fishing in the area. The service is also remarkable, friendly, and at times comes with a side of humor which makes Willow Haven even more welcoming..

Very cozy and festive. Service was first rate. Food was ok. Porterhouse wasn't the greatest, but everything else was ok. Would come back.

Bartender was great and very quick on making sure we had drinks every time. But when it came to the food that was another story. There was 7 of us on this Saturday so we wanted prime rib and seafood. All of the prime rib was cold by the time it came out and when we complained they took it back and a minute later they came back and it was still cold. All the scallops and lobster was cold too. I used to work there years ago and it was always great food and the changes they have done didn’t make sense to me. Prime rib is always to be served on a hot metal plate or at least a plate that isn’t cold as ice as that is what we experienced. We made a complaint to the bartender and he just shrugged his shoulders when we told him about the meal. We expected a lot more from here especially for the price of this meal, we will not be coming back for along time. So sad to say this after so many years of coming here to eat.

We both had the Sunday 1/2 Chicken special with fries. My husband added the salad bar. It was delicious!! Only wish they offered mashed potatoes and gravy as a choice. The servers were VERY busy. Great food and service!!! Will definitely return again!!

Went for Mother's Day brunch with family. I have eaten dinner here a few times before, the food is always good, there is a lot of room and the service is good.

One of the best Friday fish fry options in the Northwoods. Fantastic soup and salad bar. No reservations accepted, but tables turnover pretty quickly. Enjoyed a couple of old fashioneds at the bar while waiting for a table.

Came by sxs, so we weren't the cleanest folks, We were warmly welcomed, good old fashioneds, amazing lasagna, and even better soups! The older gentleman bartending was a pleasure to chat with aswell If your in the area, and your hungry, I recommend you stop by for great food with a great atmosphere!

We had the boasted chicken and it was excellent. I had a cup of the cream of mushroom soup, lots of mushrooms with every spoon full. Will be back for certain.

I am a frequent patron of The Haven. Always pleased with the service, atmosphere, and cost. I highly recommend the Friday night fish fry. I ordered a steak sandwich for the first time there a short time ago. The tenderloin was so tender! I will order again soon!

Got there and was told a15 minute wait for a table. 1 hour later still no table. They say all the larger parties first. Had enough, we got up and left. I understand that they were busy, but you had us down in the list and kept skipping over us. I'm a paying customer also! 😡

Friendly. Amazing broasted chicken. We're going back tonight for fish fry which we hear is also one of the best in area. Nice salad bar and desserts were outstanding. We had carrot cake. Mike's cheeseburger soup was amazing. He had 3 homemade soups on the salad bar. We enjoyed talking to Mike the owner who checked on us numerous times. Beautiful views of the lake.

Comfortable and casual bar/supper club w a great view of the Willow Flowage. We went for dinner w friends 2x during our annual Northwoods vacation. Food was great both times with retro type salad bar. I think they need more servers as the one seemed rather rushed and not able to provide the level of service she usually does. We went on Wednesday night each time. While they were not too busy, there were a few large groups both times. We did order the wonderful iconic ice cream after dinner drinks...while it took awhile to get them...they were fabulous and worth the wait. One thought, if it is a very busy night, maybe take those special drink menus off the table. Will go again the next time we are up that way. Loved that the head cook came out to check on our meals both times!

4 out of 8 of us were pretty disappointed. Server was great, owner seemed annoyed by us. Perch and bluegill were soggy. Walleye was excellent. Italian beef was not good and buns for them were so soggy you couldn't pick them up.

Food is getting better. It would be nice to see the staff dressing up (no tee shirts and grungy shorts).

My broasted chicken arrived half raw, so I sent it back. It came back done, but tough as shoe leather. My husband's chicken was very good! Waitress was excellent, however, and bartender very personable.

This out of the way bar & grill has a supper club atmosphere with great food and very friendly people. One of our favorite destination places all summer & fall upnorth.

Gorgeous view. Great atmosphere. I liked that it had a lot of natural light. We went for the chicken dinner. The chicken was amazing. And the options from the menu are super awesome. We'll definitely be back to try more !

If you want fine dining, don't go here. If you want a basic old-fashioned supper club menu with steak, fish, pork, and chicken with a nice view of the lake, this is the place. Simple food, the menu might be the same as it was 30 years ago, but all perfectly prepared. The place looks run down and there were only a couple of people in the place at the very start of the season. I almost didn't look at the salad bar, but was surprised to see nice fresh greens and plenty of veggies. My broasted chicken was crisp and juicy and flavorful, the ribs tasty, and the steak was good and precisely medium rare. My side of hash browns was hot and crispy. Don't expect atmosphere other than the backwoods experience, but if you're looking for tasty simple food that's cooked right, try here.

Very good fish fry, a little light on the batter, but I'd definitely go back again. Wish these Wisconsin fish fry's would have malt vinegar available. If they had, I'd give it a 5 star.

Called to find out what the daily special was. Told them we will be done with my SERVICE DOG. They told me he is NOT welcome. They accused him of sticking his nose in everyone’s food. No one contacted us about this problem. He has not done this. I seen a dog walk into the kitchen, I find this is a problem. Do not bring your service dog here, they are NOT service dog friendly. We liked coming here, they have lost our business. Yelling at someone over the phone is not acceptable. They never liked the dog from day one. This service dog is in training. Can’t expect him to be perfect. Never apologized for being rude in the phone. This dog was also accused of attacking someone. Another from a co worker Jo told a waitress. This is what a waitress told us.

Food, drinks, and service is always top notch. Even has salad bar and soups at lunch time with your meal!

The Blue Cheese Pork Chops were some of the tastiest and juiciest I’ve ever had! A surprise for this little Bar and Grill in the middle of nowhere. We’ll be going back in the summer to savor more of their entrees and enjoy their outdoor patio. The service was good too! I only gave 4 stars because ,as with a lot of restaurants in the north-woods, there is very little atmosphere, but that’s not important to everyone.

Great stop for lunch and supplies if you're here for a fishing trip and camping out on the flowage. Can restock ice, bait and beer along with a good food menu.

Beatiful view of the Willow flowage. Great choice of fish fries including pike , cod, catfish, bluegill.. The service is polite and efficient. I love going here even though it is not in my back yard to travel to, worth the trip Would advise to come on on non peak hours because of wait. Especially in summer

We celebrated our 36th anniversary for supper at the Willow Haven. We had the rib-eye and black and blue pork chops with Cajun seasoning and bleu cheese, both were excellent. Service and atmosphere were great! Thanks you for the drink.

Top 3 broasted chicken ive ever had at good prices, good drinks, great location and good vibes. Open 365 days a year. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a Northwoods bar/lake experience.

Cajun Catfish Fish Fry! OMG! Get it!

Friendly staff and good food. I had the hamburger and fries. My husband had the Reuben and sweet potato waffle fries. All was good. Nice view of the water but windows needed cleaning to make it a spectacular view. Restaurant was clean and even had hand sanitizer on the tables.

Ordered the 2 piece poormans cod and a bowl of clam chowder it was fabulous. With a group of 13 people, the service was great and all the food was wonderful. Catfish and perch had rave reviews.

I love this place. The people here are always so kind to out of towners like me. Very reasonable prices, and the food is great. Great view of the lake. We go here 2 times a year. If your camping in the area, they have a bait shop, and a place you can usually get firewood and stuff.

The best ribs I've ever had. Not even exaggerating, that is the best $24 I've spent In my entire life. I saw the menu, ordered- service was great- and my expectations were, you know, average. What I did not expect was to spiral into debilitating addiction to these ribs. Seriously, if they serve ribs in heaven, it's these ribs. I'm not entirely convinced that Wolfgang Puck isn't running the kitchen here. Have you seen the menu? Now I don't know if I should always get these ribs or if I should try other things. I am beginning to fear that this rack of ribs will slowly end up consuming me, ever invading my dreams and waking thought for the rest of my life. I'll definitely be back.

We ate there Saturday night. All 9 of us said our meals were great. The delmonico prime rib with blue cheese, mushrooms and onions was fantastic Nice salad bar and very good soup. Nice touch that chef came out and asked how our meals were. Will be back 😁

This supper club has been in business for many years. Excellent food and very personal service.... Known for xmas decorations in the past yrs. A must to eat at and enjoy there home made selections and yummy specials. The best clean catfish I've ever had.

This place was very nice. The fish was good. I love the cajun catfish and at $10 they were basically giving it away. I just wish we had gotten there a little earlier to see the lake. It was dark when we arrived.

Beautiful place and amazingly sweet staff. They have fantastic food and a wonderful bar. They have a back patio that is absolutely stunning. Lots of room for many people. Right on gorgeous water. Kid friendly and such an enjoyable time you'll have, as my friends and I did.

Nice location and a warm welcome from the staff inside the restaurant. Very reasonable drink and food prices. Salad bar stocked with great soups and a nice variety of salad toppings. Prime Rib with Delmonico seasonings and mushrooms/onions was extremely flavorful. Highly recommended!
