Been looking for some authentic Jamaican Food and I found it at this establishment Curry Goat was excellent 10/10 Thanks!!

This is a food truck, but don't underestimate the quality and the service of this family business. I could not decide between Oxtail or Goat, so I got both and ate off that for days

This food truck is amazing! I got the Jerk Chicken with Pigeon Peas and Rice and Cornbread. They were out of plantains :( $15. Delicious. Served quickly. Generous portions. Lovely spot. Lovely people!

Food Is Great but they are very unreliable and inconsiderate business wise. There barely here even when it says “open” and theres no way to contact them to figure it out. Waste of gas driving over there everytime for them not to be there or know when they are there. Fix the way you guys get to your customers.

just grabbed an oxtail plate and it’s def worth the price i also got cabbage with rice an all the food was seasoned to perfection and not stingy with portion size i will be back!

Atmosphere is outside. Small shade tents, but if it were raining, it would've been a drag. I only had the jerk chicken & 2 sides. Jerk Chicken written in red on the regular menu. I take that as a sign. Sides were, Yellow Rice, and 'no pork' Collards. I'm Jewish.... All of it ends up being wet and messy in a styrofoam clamshell inside a white grocery bag. (!!!) IMHO modest prices, AND, more food than one human has any business eating in one sitting. You could easily feed 2 with an extra side. Insane flavor. Bone-in chicken, skin on, with only a fork to navigate... I ended up wasting enough to feel jealous. At least I'm not over stuffed. That could've easily happened. Food truck with a barely muffled generator going the whole time. Parking lot was tight for our 20' camper van. If only these folks were also in Panama City Beach, where we are headed. I could see making many trips, working through this generous menu. Food was an incredibly tasty 3 napkin mess. I can't recommend it highly enough. I do not impress easily. These folks impress, and are serving heaven in styrofoam. Go get ya some. SO GLAD we didn't find parking at other places nearby. Serendipity paid w dividends here.

We got the oxtail plate, 2 different types of wings, and the pulled pork with pigeon peas! It was so good! We wanted the chicken and waffles plate too but they were out!

Excellent Caribbean food and the best I’ve ever had. The jerk pork was amazing and some of the best pork I’ve ever had. It was extremely tender and was seasoned to perfection. The plantains were also excellent and had great taste. I would highly recommend this food truck.

I got the jerk pork with yellow rice and beans. Everything was delicious and the wait was not too long. It was my first time having jerk food and it was super tasty. I'm going to get the jerk chicken and beef patty next time!

Coming from South Florida, I was craving some authentic Caribbean food. This place came up on a search and I decided to try it. The food was okay, but it tastes nothing like the Caribbean food (Jamaican, Haitian, Trinidadian, Bahamian, Cuban, Puerto Rican, etc.) I've had from authentic restaurants and in the homes of people from that region. It tastes more like southern cuisine. The oxtails, (pigeon) peas and rice, and cabbage were decent. I was told the cabbage was steamed (like Jamaicans cook it) but it was definitely boiled (soft) and over seasoned. The plantains were dry and cut too thick. The meat in the beef patty was dry and lacking flavor, and the pastry was tough and dry, not at all flaky and buttery like I'm accustomed to from Caribbean restaurants down south. Overall, it was okay and I had a full belly, but it just was not at all what I was looking for - authentic Caribbean food.

I love oxtail , i always try different restaurants oxtail and from south Georgia too north florida these are the best oxtails and rice i have found , especially in my city Tallahassee. They are clean you dont have too worry about roaches like another place i have been in Tallahassee.

This spot is not just a food truck. The food and hospitality is first class! I recommend everyone to give them a try! You won’t be disappointed! A+++++++

It was my first time trying the food at this food truck abd it was a pleasant experience. The food was good, the pricing was 🙃 … but y’all know everything is expensive nowadays. It was definitely worth the price though 😋. For reference I had the oxtail place with rice/peas and sweet plantains.

We were in Tallahassee last weekend and wanted to experience some of the food that was available on our first visit to Tallahassee. We found this food truck and ordered curry goat and baked chicken both with pigeon peas n vegetables. 😋 The food was delicious. We made sure to stop again on Saturday and bought another curry goat before we left town. If you are in Tallahassee, be sure to stop and try the food. They have other items on the menu too.

OMG! I drove an hour. I was not disappointed. My first visit. Customer Service, Fantastic . Ordered: Oxtails and Brown Stew Chicken . They know what they are doing. Delicious

I have been eating here for the past 4 years I’ve been at FSU. The best food and the sweetest owners. I would recommend it to anyone. I had the privilege of living next door so I could just see if they were out there or not, but I would call before you make the drive since their hours aren’t really strict.

This place is great but they are unreliable. The hours on Google and their personal website aren’t accurate, no one answers the phone when you call to ask if they are open when they’re supposed to be and they are rarely where they say the truck is supposed to be located. It’s a headache trying to find this truck everytime but the food is worth trying.

This was an all around AMAZING experience. I live in South Florida, so I have my pick of Caribbean restaurants. This one is a perfect blend of Jamaican & Southern cuisine. It has the best food and consistency across all categories. I purchased oxtail, goat, rice & peas, greens, cabbage, plantain, beef patties, pound cake and bottled beverages. EVERY ITEM WAS FANTASTIC!! The meats were well seasoned & very tender. You can there is great attention paid to cleaning, trimming and marinating the meats before cooking. The greens were a comfortably spicy, tender and without any bitterness. The pound cake had a very delicate crumb and tender mouth feel. If you have a southern granny, it's that kind of pound cake. I spent $60 dollars with this business and it was money well spent!! I'm definitely visiting them every time that I'm in Tallahassee. I wish this business continued success, because they definitely deserve it.

I work at Publix in the deli. One day, Ms Stacy, the operator of Yardie CC came by to get a sub. She was very friendly and we got to talking about our shared love of food. She asked if I'd heard of Yardie CC. I told I'd heard of it, had read its wonderful reviews, but I hadn't stopped by myself. She told me to stop by and try her food. I did that today and I was definitely not disappointed. It was delicious. I got the oxtail (first time trying it), collards (my favorite vegetable), and yellow rice. While waiting in line I heard Ms Stacy telling the person ahead of me about her pound cake, so I got that as well. Everything was delicious. The oxtails were fall off the bone tender and full of flavor. The collards were perfectly cooked and a little smokey, just how I like them, the potlikker at the bottom was most certainly utilized. The yellow rice on its own was tasty, perfectly cooked, but once it soaked up the juices from the collards and oxtails it became magical. The pound cake was great as well, second only to my grandmother's (gotta keep granny at number 1). It was moist with the right amount of glaze and lemon flavor. I absolutely recommend this great local place and will hit it up again. I believe in eating local, keeping money within the community. There's so many great local places in Tallahassee, and I think it's important to show are appreciation by supporting those businesses and letting them know how much we appreciate it. Thanks Ms Stacy for a wonderful meal.

The best food ever hands down!!

I got food poisoning from here BUT it was from my leftovers. Was looking for some Jamaican places to try and saw this place had good reviews, I got some Curry Chicken from here a few days ago. The first night it was really delicious I had plenty of leftovers, I kept the rest refrigerated. The next day I ate my leftovers for lunch & that was pretty much all I ate that day except some cereal for breakfast. Later that night after eating my leftovers for lunch I had a bad stomachache & felt horribly sick for hours, I eventually threw up about 5 times, turns out I got food poisoning from the leftovers. Not sure if it went bad quickly or I just should’ve ate it all the night I got it when it was still hot but probably won’t come back just to be safe. The food was good the first day though & they do give you a good portion size. The service also very good, professional, & friendly as well.

I’m from out of town and I’ve been wanting to try their food for a while now. I finally tried it today and it was sooo good. The wait time wasn’t long at all and their customer service was nice. Will definitely be going back!

I read the reviews, looked at the food posted and looked at the menu. I was not convinced about how good people said the food was. My son and I decided to try Yardie's after being disappointed by many types of food in Tallahassee (we live in Jacksonville). I had oxtails, yellow rice, plantains and cornbread. My son had oxtails, yellow rice, macaroni & cheese, and cornbread. The food was more than good it was awesome. It was delicious, oxtails tender, juicy & meaty and seasoned just right. Food was plentiful for the reasonable price, plantains cooked well and very tasty (not dry). I am not a rice eater, but I ate them all (went very well with the oxtails), not gummy or hard. In addition, I enjoyed a smooth tasty (not sweet but good) very cold Tropical Rhythms (Island Mango juice) drink. I enjoyed talking to the owner about how the LORD is blessing them!! I will make a drive from Jacksonville to enjoy more of Yardie CC Carribean Cuisine.

Amazingly delicious ribs from the track for $13.50! It is the track, they prepare food and give you a plastic fork (no knife) in a plastic container... And you wait outside for 10 minutes or so... But the food is absolutely delicious. I enjoyed it with a bottle of Cabernet bought on a nearby gas station for $9.00 and ate it in my hotel room. Adventurous but surprisingly enjoyable.

This is some of the best - if not the best - food in Tallahassee. I’d been wanting to try it for a while but I kept forgetting, so I was not disappointed when I finally gave it a shot. The jerk chicken and pork were so flavorful and tender, pulling apart and falling off the bone. The truck itself is spotless and even offered a TV to watch football while the food is prepared fresh. Additionally, pricing was pretty fair for the amount of food that you get and the service was absolutely amazing: super nice and helpful owner(s) who were happy to answer questions. I will certainly be back again to keep trying what else they have to offer. I never leave reviews, so for this food to make me get out my phone to figure this out shows just how good it was. I hope they find all the success they deserve.

Hands down the best food in the area if not on the globe! I have an obsession with it. I get the pork! This place deserves everyone’s business. Great people and incredible food!

I wish I could eat this every single day. I got the pork with collards & plantains. It was absolutely delicious. The pork melted in my mouth, I genuinely could’ve gone without chewing it. I can’t rave about it enough. The people were so nice & helpful & food incredible.

Some of the best Jamaican Jerk I’ve ever had!!! Jerk chicken was seasoned to perfection, as well as the phenomenal yellow rice and Mac & Cheese. Staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Exceptional food and service. I'm floored. I got the curry chicken with cabbage and string beans. Curry chicken fell right off the bone and the string beans were extremely well seasoned. Hugely recommend.
