It was good. Shrimp fried rice was good. Red curry was a little on the sweeter side... but still good. Service was also pretty quick and good.

Absolutely one of the best places to eat in all of Seattle. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Shockingly good diner-style coffee too.

Came here based on the reviews, and delighted to confirm that Young's is delicious! We got some standards: crispy garlic shrimp, Pad Thai, orange chicken, and pineapple fried rice. The meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The service was excellent. A fantastic hole-in-the-wall place, and with the diversity of the menu, it's perfect for those days when no one can decide what they want!

We had takeout from here and it was super solid. We had the pad see ew, the crispy, garlic, chicken, and the papaya salad. The pad see ew needed a little chili oil or zip to it, and the papaya salad had no spice to it, it was very well built, but a huge component of the papaya salad is the heat. The crispy garlic chicken had very quality pieces of meat in it, and wasn’t just the super breaded and deep fried super sweet version that you get at most Thai spots. Love the variety, It’s a whole Asian food experience so I am excited to try the other items on the menu.

So I'm really surprised by the menu in this restaurant, there's a bit of everything from burgers to Thai food to Western breakfast, but everything we ordered was tasty and a great quantity for the price.

You want an all American breakfast? (Sausage, eggs, pancakes, etc) You want Chinese food? (Generals chicken, spicy eggplant, etc) YOU CAN HAVE BOTH HERE! And it’s All good!

Young's is the most well ran food establishment in White Center. Food is good, but it's the consistency ans service that will win you over.

We LOVED Youngs. Especially since they were so nice to our kids! It’s hard to find a place that’s kid friendly. They brought out little Mickey pancakes, my kids loved it. The food was so great, chicken was so crispy. We will definitely be back to try more things. Service was fast and staff were VERY friendly.

The food is incredible. The crispy garlic chicken is perfect. It’s my go to Chinese and Thai restaurant. The noodle dishes are all delicious. I love the basil fried rice. It’s all amazing. The staff are friendly and always wonderful when I call in my order.the portions are huge and very reasonably priced. Their food overall much better than most of the other higher priced Thai places around the junctions. I’ve shared them with all my friends who have also become big Young Restaurant fans.

Old school family-owned diner. No frills, basic but tasty food choices for brunch. Great choices for bothe Asian menu dinner items and American breakfast items.

Don’t let the modest digs fool you. The food here is excellent! Tom kha with fried tofu, garlic fried rice and pineapple curry were all delicious and perfectly prepared. Would definitely return.

Awesome diner with delicious food & service. They have a varied menu which includes breakfast favorites as well as Thai & Chinese offerings as well! Omelets and chicken fried steak with country gravy are wonderful and they offer Belgium waffles with berries and whipped cream! Amazing!

I was going to order breakfast delivery but you can't opt out of adding meat to your pancake dish. They have special instructions turned off. No option to leave it off or to add a vegetarian sausage or turkey bacon

Definitely, not your average Chinese food. Thai is plentiful, breakfast, even burgers. We enjoy our experience. Carol didn't like sticky rice....

We were really happy with our experience at Young’s. Our whole group ordered a little of everything off the menu and nothing missed. The classic breakfast food is sold, tasty, and filling. It feels like most food is made so you can season to taste. We also tried the crispy garlic chicken on a recommendation and it was light, crispy and tasty. We got two stars for spicy and we probably could have gone to three or four. They are very kid friendly with high chairs and the stuff is super sweet to our baby. There didn’t appear to be a changing table in the bathroom though which was a drawback.

I’ve been coming here since I was a little girl-it’s a real OG White Center staple!! I still come with my mom for lunch on Sundays even though we both live over an hour away these days. This place will forever feel like home and it’s the best pork fried rice I’ve ever had to date. The Wonton soup is also 10/10. Can’t say enough how much this place has a spot in my heart for life!

Very cute diner/restaurant! Very friendly staff, but server didn't enter our order properly sadly though and 3 other tables who came in after us got their food before us - we had to remind them & then they finally cooked our food. Weren't too upset though cause they were really nice. Food was good ol diner food, eggs perfectly over easy, waffle tasty, hash browns crispy. My fiance got garlic lovers chicken or something & she enjoyed that. BBQ fried rice was delicious. Vietnamese iced coffee was also great. Little pricey for a diner but I kind of expect that nowadays.

This place serves some of the most delicious Asian cuisine we've found up here in washington. Nice little spot with great flavour and generous portions! Def have been a few times and always consistent.

Im sitting in Youngs waiting for my to go order....the 2nd one in a weeks time. Figured I should leave a review. Youngs is our go to now for all things Chinese. Its not perfect but it is really good. My partner told me its his favorite. Guess its mine too! The fried rice is the best Ive had in a long time. Their sauces are done well...sweet and tangy. Ive just discovered their Yor Wonton soup...love it. They must do their bbq pork in house...its delicious and a must try. I dont love that its served on a bed of lettuce...but aside from that its wonderful. I lived up the street from this place for YEARS and didnt find it until I moved out of the area. Bummer. But...distance wont keep us away. We're huge fans. One day we will give breakfast a try too. Thanks Youngs!

I've always loved their breakfast for the last 30 years, but lately on breakfast has been a bit disappointed. They are lacking of taste and plating, the cook is not consistent of how they make their omelette and eggs Benedict, chicken fried steak. But Their garlic crispy chicken and green beans are awesome. I love the staff there, very friendly and caring.

We dropped by for dinner after browsing their online menu from their website, we were surprised that they had entrees for about ten dollars, well they actually didn’t, entrees were about $15 which is inline with other restaurants. I suppose the prices on the website are dated, I’m including photos of the menu so that you know what to expect. We got four entrees. What I highly recommend is the crispy garlic chicken, if this was the only entree I had I would have given it five stars! The chicken was crispy and moist inside, delicious and a generous portion. The other three meals were not even close. The lo mein was the second favorite, with a huge gap, it was alright, the beef was chewy, not soft. I found the sweet and sour chicken disappointing, it wasn’t crispy and there was too much sauce for my liking. Finally the garlic delight was not good, we did not finish it, a bit too salty and overpowered with garlic. Rice is extra. I noticed that they have lunch combo deals. Service was good and the restaurant has several tables for dinning in, but they were more busy with takeout orders, probably the delicious crispy garlic chicken.

This place has an incredible large menu from American breakfast to Chinese food...Prices are good but their hours are limited, I think they close at 2 p.m. food and service is very good.. with really large portions. December update, changed owners again. Breakfast, lunch is still good with large portions and reasonable prices.

Just my favorite diner. The diner food is great; the Chinese food is great; the Thai food is great. You can have them all at one meal in a cozy booth and diner vibe. Hard not to love it. It had been a while since we'd been there, but the vibe is great and the kid loooooved it not the least bc of the 3 inches high whipped cream with chocolate sauce on his hot chocolate.

We visit family from out of state, but each time we visit, we make sure we eat at Young's! Quality food, great service and clean surroundings make for a very pleasant meal. So glad we found you!

I went to Young’s Restaurant after reading the reviews. They did not disappoint. I had the Crispy Garlic Chicken with steamed rice and it was delicious!

Love the idea of combining Chinese and American breakfast.

Very impressed. Unassuming and casual, but very delicious. The garlic green beans and crispy garlic chicken specials were excellent (side of rice). Very much enjoyed the drunken noodles too, medium spicy was just the right amount of spicy for my Asian palate, didn’t need the broccoli though. Thai iced tea was very sweet but authentically so.

Note* they are not open from 2:30-4 pm; it’s their lunch break, and they should adjust that online. But aside from that, their food was delicious! Try their house-fried rice and crispy garlic chicken!

I was surprised to find they had Thai food. Now that I've tried it they will be my go to Thai takeout in the neighborhood. We had drunken noodle, papaya salad, basil fried rice, and garden delight. The level of spicy was perfect, the veggies were crispy and fresh.

The noodles really save it for me as everything else has very little if and seasoning (beef chow mien). It still good, but if you've ever gotten to live with someone that was from the south side and who knew how to cook the food from there... well this doesn't compare.

I used to love this place. Simple and good. BUT.... I cannot eat here in the company of cockroaches. The place is infested so bad that they are not hiding. Just out n the open on the wall, crawling on our booth, crawling on the condiments and all over the Sriracha bottle. I know many places are infested, but when you see them crawling on your dining table, that's a whole new level of gross out. I just won't go there until I know they have eradicated it. That's probably never.

finally had the chance to check out youngs. came here on a weekday for lunch and the place was not busy at all. the staff was super accomodating and friendly to me and my daughter in a stroller. they even brought her a special mickey mouse pancake which she loved. i tried the lunch kung pao chicken of course. overall the kung pao was good. chicken was cut right in small cubes, the sauce was tasty and not over board on the vegtables. only issues was that there was no spicy edge to the kung pao. needed some red peppers to spice it up. the wonton soup was fire!!! overall everythig was good and will be looking forward to coming back to try other menu options. great local eatery..

We’ve eaten here several times, and it’s been consistently great. There aren’t a lot of Chinese/Thai options in the area so I love those dishes especially, but the all day breakfast is great too.

At times there is one server. She does her best and is a great worker. Which makes the food taste better while you wait. Still one of the best restaurants in the West.

I will definitely eat here again. The server was very kind and attentive. All the food was fresh and delicious. We got: -The beef salad (not seen on the menu but my bf knew about it) 10/10. The heat was just right at 2 star. 3 star or more would be for spice lovers -the crispy garlic chicken 9/10 (crisp was amazing, could have had more garlic) -the spring rolls 10/10 no improvement to make. Plum sauce was delicious -the bbq pork 6/10. The pork itself was very good. The bbq sauce ruined the classic take on it. It's also served warm which is new to me. The mustard was a good hot level though. If they served the bbq sauce on the side, it would raise this! The drinks were reasonable. We hot 2 beers and 2 sodas.

Young's now has dinner including Thai food! Panang curry, Rama noodles and Garlic delight all excellent. Young's! Until 8pm. Highly recommended. Good people, good dinning room. Love Youngs!

If you’re looking for a restaurant with zero wait time and excellent food, look no further. Young’s was absolutely exceptional. The wait staff was attentive and took great care of us. Plus the menu has a ton of variety so no matter what mood you’re in they have the dish for you. Highly recommended.

Such a cute, old-school diner in the heart of White Center. Friendly and efficient staff. Love the diner breakfast, but also their Chinese food is well-seasoned and super flavorful.

This is by far my favorite place to eat in White Center! They have everything! The atmosphere is calm and service is great. The portions are generous, priced right, and the food is great! The only thing missing is some chicken curry. I've been here for lunch and dinner and both times quite pleasant.

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of their food that we ordered. It was very authentic and delicious and plentiful. The restaurant is clean and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely go back and recommend it.

FABULOUS !!! I work across the street from Young's Restaurant and we had our holiday lunch party. I called on Tuesday to order for Thursday to give them plenty of time for a 15 person order. On Wednesday due to the weather we changed the party to that same day. I called in a little after 8am and asked if we could get our order at 11:30am same day and they kindly said yes. It was ready on time and in fact one of their employees used a service cart and helped us bring the food to our location. They are super friendly and the customer service is spot on! the food was hot and very tasty! I would definitely recommend Young's for sit down or take out. Cheers to the chef we love your food!

Small cafe , really good food with many different options for food such as Asian,American it's nice to have a combination. Portion sizes are large and prices are perfect. Customer service amazing.

Got basic breakfast food and it was great. Didn’t try any of the more adventurous options but they have a very diverse menu.

My Breakfast was good and simple. Wow I'll be back. I got the Loco Moco n Waffles and Chicken Wings. My Doggie had the 🍖.

I was skeptical of this place based on the menu options. Usually places that offer diverse menu options (breakfast, Chinese and Thai…) aren’t so good at everything. BUT - the reviews brought us here and to our surprise it was a great spot!! The reviews and high star rating was legit. I loved the Panang Curry (they made it GF for me) and the kids got pancakes for free. My husband enjoyed his Mongolian Beef lunch special. A surprise and delight spot, we highly recommend this spot.

Offers a great variety of Asian dishes and all the breakfast items you could want. Servers are friendly and attentive, serving sizes plentiful,—the Loco Moco is an all day kind of thing. Recently changed ownership but nothing appears to have changed, for the best in my opinion.

Amazing Chinese and Thai. The drunken noodles are the best I've ever had. The lo mein and the orange chicken are soooo good. And the prices are really reasonable. Do me a favor - go support these folks so they can keep their doors open for years to come and I can keep eating their incredible food.

I've been a customer for 15 years and have always loved the food and this place has the best staff on the planet. Tonight I ordered food to go. I ordered a dish that listed NO shrimp or seafood in it, because I'm seriously allergic. I got one fork full in my mouth and see a bunch of shrimp in the dish. Last time I'll be ordering from here.

Went here on a whim after seeing good reviews, and BOY it did not disappoint! Wings Zabb were incredible, perfectly crispy with a delicious sweet and spicy sauce. But the real showstopper was the orange chicken. I’ve had orange chicken at dozens of restaurants over the years as it’s my favorite Chinese dish. It’s quite literally, THE BEST orange chicken I’ve had. Will absolutely return again

Needed a sit-down restaurant post Emerald City Comic Con to wait out the traffic. Searched for diner and ended up here. They have the standard diner breakfast fare. It's good, especially for the price. I fed 6 people for under $100 ($120 w/tip). 5 of us ordered breakfast. We needed the infusion of protein and sugar to make it home to Portland. The French Toast was good, the Belgian Waffles were good, eggs cooked to the right temperature. Nothing to complain about. Person #6 ordered Pad Thai and had no complaints. The place is unassuming, the atmosphere is diner'esque, the wait staff is competent, and I even liked the mural of seagulls. I even loved the sink sprayer attached to the toilet in the men's restroom. Worth a visit if you want a reasonably priced meal.
