Every time I come to this particular Zaxby’s I get boneless wings and I have been here to this location probably 20+ times and every time they are small and mostly breading and really chewy. Please do better because I love Zaxby’s.

The atmosphere is OK place is fairly clean. Staff is nice from what I experienced. The food is all right (as to be expected). If just looking for some place to get some chicken and this happens to be the closest place to you then I’d say go for it.

Went to this location and waited for our food for over 30 min and most of the workers looked annoyed and like they did not want to be there! No one gave updates very upset

Went to the drive-thru. Food was good and so was the strawberry lemonade. Price wasn't so attractive, but everything is expensive due to everyone's desire to get bigger than necessary returns on their money.

Zaxby's has officially fallen off! Our tenders were so dry, I could've (and should've) done better myself at home. They left stuff out of our order. Didn't include sauces? We figured we'd grab some good ol' Zaxby's after a movie and instantly regretted it. There are too many wing spots to give this place my hard earned money!

Wow! Something you don't see in these days. Placed an order at Zaxbys Riverview, didn't realize my card had expired and I had my new one at home. Manager Craig said I'll take care of it and you pay me back on your next return. That was such a blessing, I plan on coming back tomorrow after church. Thanks Craig!!

I usually don’t rate fast food places high, but this Zaxby’s was really great. The location is brand new, the staff is very friendly, service was fast and most importantly our food was very fresh and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend this location.

Food is good here but employees aren’t the girl that took my order was being so rude and then at the window they proceeded to make slick remarks and laughing. This generation is so terrible if they were my kids I’d beat them never go here again!!!! Its(male or female) name was Tyler or something !

TWICE now I've attempted to order pickup from this location different days and different times and both experiences were poor. If you don't have enough staff to run your restaurant, then don't open up for pickup. First time I waited over an hour and then my order was subsequently canceled. Then last night, another hour wait and half my order was missing not to mention what I did get appeared to have been sitting around awhile.

The people @ this location need more Customer Service training. Lady who took my order had an attitude problem after I repeated my self 3 different times when she asked what I would like to order ( inside ) and then got an attitude when I corrected her rushed me through my whole ordering process after that usually I order peach tea ( it’s an up charge ) she didn’t even give me a chance to mention it before she assumed I was paying card and it was cash. And was like OH your paying cash? Idk find some new ppl I won’t be back. Better chicken spots nearby who appreciate customer service!

The employees were nice, but can still work on more attention to customers. Food was old and dry. I ordered a chicken sandwich and might as well been jerky. The fries were soggy and old. Probably won't come back.

Great chicken! Counter staff needs to smile and be nicer. After all, it’s supposed to be Customer Service. Shrimp is not all that great, and for three dollars you get four dried up pieces of shrimp. Coleslaw was good, but I wish they would butter both sides of the Texas toast.

Horrible customer service ordered from Uber they only gave the guy half my order and when I called and asked to come pick it up, they said no you have to go through Uber. That is just ridiculous. Seeing as you guys were the ones who messed up the order would not recommend this location.

It’s always welcoming when you walk in. Great atmosphere and smiles on all the cashiers. The store looks and smells clean. My food is always hot and fresh. If anything is ever wrong with my order (which is rare), they are always so kind and fix it without hesitation. My friends and I, always love going here before our movie dates, too. I love zaxby’s and would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves eating at a wholesome, southern styled, fast food, chicken restaurant. Also! You have to try their loaded fries, they’re my favorite!!

Hello, good afternoon, I am going to share with you my experience that happened to me today, April 19, 2024 at 11.5 in the morning at Zaxby's restaurant, there were 8 to 10 people working, almost all of them doing nothing and the restaurant full of people waiting. his order for breakfast, after 35 to 40 minutes waiting we asked the Manayer what was happening and he got upset and spoke in bad ways to his clients and mistreated them, to what extent are we going to go that we will not even be able to claim the rights, the Society is taking steps backwards, please consider well and look for options where your clients and suggestions are respected and appreciated, thank you

Food was normal for Zaxby's, had the 3 strips & tried the new "shrimp" . My opinion of the 4 pieces of breaded medium size shrimp - while they were good, seemed overpriced for what I got. Won't order them again. Just too expensive for what I got.

Zaxbys in Gibsonton doesn’t put their trademark seasoning on the fries. I’ve been there twice in 4 days and no seasoning. Two managers said they would do something about it but didn’t.

The cobb salad was very wilted at least the lettuce was and turning brown. The cucumbers seemed to have been frozen and slimy and totally inedible. The egg, bacon and tomatoes seemed alright. Probably won't be returning there.

I ordered the chicken club sandwich, the chicken was nicely seasoned, had very good flavor and perfectly cooked. The fries were also very tasty. I had 2 problems with my sandwich the cheese was hard and cold and they put way too much sauce on my sandwich making it very salty. Besides that the meal was pretty good for the price.

Best I've ever had. The cashier, Amya, was so friendly and courteous. Will definitely return.

Food was typical for a fast food type restaurant. It wasn't the greatest, but it wasn't the worst either. The young lady that took my order did a nice job and was very patient with me because it was my first time going to this restaurant. It was also hard to hear when giving my order because there was a car wash across the street that was very loud.

A little slow with orders but very good place

I ordered the number three which is the wings and the tender meal everything came out fresh hot the tenders were awesome lightly breaded. The wings I ordered the Buffalo garlic with those the sauce was a little salty but other than that the flavor was really good and the service was awesome

Came to have a good time today 3/1/24 at 4:45pm after placing an order.. I requested some ketchup Nd mayo to the oversized non binary FEMALEwith a hat which looks AND ACT like to be a manager which has a rude attitude, lazy af person, instead handing the condiments just pointed out to the drink stattion which has no condiments. Had to come back and asked a different person for ketchup since the very lazy person couldnt do it! After letting the non binary "awesome" person that for her information there was not condiments there, SHE replied "OKAY......" WAY TO GO ZAXBYS!!!! such nice employees you have here!!!!!!!

So, my eggrolls were burned black. Asked to move up and wait as there were no other vehicles in line. 4 people walking around unhelpful to assist in condiments previously asked for and had to go inside as well to get them. Employees walked by, never asking if help was needed. Talking to each other and on their phones. 1 girl working to help customers. Very poor service. Very poor food quality because of over cooking.

I asked for my wings to be cooked well done and they weren't, I had to get out and go back in , and I overheard the cook say they were cooked well done. ( Maybe to her lacking but not mine)

No idea how this place is open, no lids or napkins available near the drink machine how its suppose to, waited 15 minutes for wings and things meal, wings were freezing cold barely cooked, floors are disgusting. Avoid this location

I have always loved Zaxby's. Was disappointed when I moved here and there wasn't any. Was very excited when they did move into the area.

I gave Zaxby's a three because the level of food taste has declined and the prices are higher. My spouse loves the chicken cobb salads, but the salad today was not as great as it has been in the past, and the chicken tenders were overcooked. It wasn't what I was accustomed to from Zaxby's. I will still go, but only when I have a taste for them. The prices are just ridiculous and you don't get a lot of food for the prices.

Dinky Tiny dried out salty tenders. 1st time and last time. Funnel was like a pile of grease. Disgusting.

Love Zaxby's! Service could be better considering the prices. Plus the restaurant could be so much cleaner and more inviting. The food is really good if they get the order right the first time. Check your order before you leave.

Waited for 10 minutes in the drive through line after paying when they told me to pull forward because my food wasn't ready. Mind you, I ordered 1 ONE chicken sandwich. I proceeded to watch car after car behind me get their orders much bigger than mine while I waited. I finally yelled at one of the employees that had walked out to check on my food. A few minutes later it came out to my car but it was a greasy, over salted, tasteless mess. Fries were soggy, nothing redeemable at all. First time and last time I'll come here. Nasty!

The chicken at Zaxby's is out of this world good. It is crispy, and the sauces give it some real kick. The seasoned fries were nice and hot,and didn't disappoint. Our family always enjoys eating here!

I’ve had such poor experience with both food and service from this specific location mostly at the drive thru. They miss something in your order, then make you feel like you’re the problem when you go back inside to ask for the food you ordered. They immediately come up with an excuse such as “that’s not on the order” then when you show them the receipt in hand they roll their eyes and finally make a minimal effort to get what was suppose to be in the order. Zero apologize, zero customer service. You (the customer) are the problem at this location, not the service or food.

I absolutely love the Hot Honey Mustard traditional wings 😋 so yummy 🤤 definitely recommend you try em!!!

Stopped in before our movie (45 minutes to spare) as it's in the same plaza. There were 2 other tables in the restaraunt that had ordered plus our party of 2 (total 6 people). We ordered chicken tenders/fries and a chicken philly sandwhich. It took 35 minutes. We had to scarf our food to get to our movie start time. Appeared to have plenty of staff in the kitchen and behind the counter. The food was average. The chicken philly is served on a grilled hot dog bun and chicken was good. Chicken tenders good. Food arrived hot. We paid $28 for these two items and 2 drinks. The place was clean and really nice inside. And food was ok. But....I wouldn't go back only because of the wait time for 2 items on a slow night.

I went into the restaurant 15 minutes before closing time and I lost my glasses so I couldn't see and I walked there cause I was staying at the hotel and I have to use a walker to walk cause of my recient back surgery it was the farthest I had walked since I had it so there was 2 people ahead of me so I was talking to a couple of ur employees and then when my turn came I asked a few questions like what they would recommend and when I said ok I'm ready to order they said sorry it's 10:02pm and we close at 10pm i said u know ive been In here for like 20 mins talking to ur employees and asking questions about the menu i felt so disrespected i said u just let the person infront of me get food and now 5 mins later there saying they have no food left that the kitchen shuts down at 10pm not 10:02 so i was so mad they should serve everyone they let in the restaurant before 10pm and at 10pm lock the door but since I was there around 9:40pm and they saw i was disabled and saw i haf to walk there u figured that they would have atleast told me that I needed to order before 10pm or I can't place an order then I would have hurried but they never said anything they were helping me with what I wanted until I said ok I'm ready to order then that said sorry like I was just a nobody and I have told alot of my friends and family this so we will never go there to eat again

The service at Zaxby's was wonderful. The attendant in the drive thru was very helpful and nice. He went above and beyond during our circumstance. I stopped in the drive thru during a huge thunderstorm and downpour and got soaked getting our food... But I didn't mind as I was excited to try them. The food was just okay... We got 2 family meals, 9 chicken strip sliders, fries, fried pickles, fried white cheddar cheese bites and 2 funnel cakes. Was very pleased they had it all on hand... However that could also explain the chicken. The chicken was dry and I was very disappointed about that. Zaxby's original sauce was good but I have had another similar fast food chain and their's was better. So was their chicken. Fries were okay and the funnel cake was small. Not the size you get at the fair. The fried pickles were horrible, nobody liked them. The breading was funky. The cheese bites were the best dish of the meal. We all enjoyed them. We spent $100 and I was feeding a family of 4. It was an okay experience but I don't think we will be going back. For the money I would have thought their chicken would have been juicy and tender and it just wasn't.

Love their chicken finger plate. Fries are good, too. You order at the counter, get your own refillable beverage, and wait for your food to be prepared. Nice for a quick and easy meal! They also have a drive thru.

I go to this place because it is close to my house and when I order via the app my food is usually ready. As you can see from the photos the presentation of my order was by care for. It was packaged and rushed. The customer service is 0/5 stars because when I asked the young lady for a drink carrier she looked at me as if I was bothering her. After today I will delete the app and no longer support this business.

I've been there mostly for lunch and dinner... It's always enough food for a second serving, if you are a moderate eater.

Your employees are the best they know what I get everytime I come in they remember my name they are fantastic and the mangers are great also keep up the great work I always have a smile on my face when I leave

I order my food it was the fully loaded potato fries... they did it wrong they did it again and it bearly had any chicken last time I will go there I will take my self somewhere else ... the funny part the cookers was watching me take a look at my food and they laughed cool guess what il take my money somewhere else and pay someone else to make food ... but I won't pay there paycheck ever again... wish you guys luck

Solid service but the chicken fingers were terrible. They were freshly cooked but just soaked with oil and no taste at all. The restaurant was dirty the floors were greasy. I would not go back to a Zaxby’s again.

The only menu board was over the registers and VERY difficult to read. We had several people in our group with dietary restrictions, and reading the details on the menu board was difficult. The food wasn't good enough to make the effort to read the menu board worth the effort.

I had tried Zaxby's another time in another state and it was terrible. I am glad I tried it again, it was pretty good. The seasoning on the fries is also pretty good, I wish tho that it was on all of them not just heavy sections here and there. Staff was very nice.

Consistently forget sauces. They don't include the sauces that are supposed to come with items and they don't include the extra sauces specifically purchased. Very disappointing.

Food tastes like the oil hasn't been changed in months. Dirty inside and the parking lot is a mess. The staff looks miserable and clearly dont enjoy their jobs. Brutal experience overall.

Food was good but alittle over priced

Boneless wings are one of my favorites. But the price of food nowadays is nuts. Still you can't go wrong with honey mustard wings.

My husband asked the gentleman at the counter for 2 sauces for me and he pointed to our food and walked away. I went up and asked again and the same gentleman said its .25 cents for each sauce. I said I've never been charged and he again said .25 cents for each sauce he didn't bother saying when this rule went into effect or anything. He then handed me the wrong sauce. So I went back up and watched another worker get asked by a girl for an extra sauce and she just handed it to her. No hassle and no asking for additional money. Why was I treated differently? Why did I have to pay and we watched multiple people go up and not pay? The guy was rude as anything to both me and my husband.

My friend and I both ordered club chicken sandwiches which are supposed to come with bacon… both of our sandwiches had no strips of bacon. There were a few teeny tiny pieces that were more like bacon bits, but barely enough to even notice or taste. If you don’t have slices to make the sandwich correctly, say that. In that case I’d rather order the basic sandwich and not pay extra for the bacon we didn’t get.

Basically it is a basic version of Chick-fil-A.

Pulled up to the drive thru. Works we're unable to hear me due to the car wash across the street. I pulled around since I couldn't hear her and she couldn't hear me and the girl said I'm not allowed to take orders at the window. I said ok. We can't hear each other at the speaker. She says again, we aren't allowed to take orders at the window. I said ok does that mean you don't want my order. She said NO! Unbelievable.

So this is now the third time I’ve tried my local Zaxby’s. And this is the third time I’ve gotten dry chicken strips and soggy fries.

If you want to go through a drive through and then be told to move forward to wait 5 minutes, only to have the 10 cars behind you get their food and then be told your order of a sandwich is taking to long, then this is your place to experience just that poor service.

First exercise Zaxby's experience. It was amazing!

On 4/7/23, late in the day, I went through the drive through of Zaxby's on Gibsonton Dr and ordered a 6 piece chicken finger meal with coleslaw and French fries as my side items. Once I arrived home and started eating my meal, I noticed they had left out my coleslaw. Not a big deal and I though I would just ask for it the next time I ate there because I was tired and going to bed after eating. Fast forward a week later and now I am at the same location, dining in, and ordering the 6 piece chicken finger meal again. I asked the lady taking my order if she could just throw in an extra coleslaw because they shorted me last time and she said no so I asked to talk to a manager. A lady identify as some type of assistant regional or divisional manager then came up and said very rudely "absolutely not and if I wanted extra I would have to pay for it and that I should have called the day it happened". I told her I did not think it was a big deal at the time and it was late in the day as we are only talking about a tiny tub of coleslaw that comes in the to go meals. Anyway, she throws one in and charges me for it at which time I made her take it out and refund my money as I would not pay again for something I had already paid for once and never received. Again, she was very rude and I told her that I would never eat at this restaurant again being treated so poorly over a $1.00 tub of coleslaw.

Trash! Second time coming here and will be the last. Each time we chose to dine in. Each visit, the customer service was awful. It took half an hour plus each time to get food. Each time we had to ask for our drink we ordered. No one was helping with the line or regulating it. There were a bunch of people asking around in front of the register trying to figure out where the line was for a hot minute. The staff saw and didn't try to help or say anything what so ever. Every person that walked in after had to ask and point back and fourth till they figured out where they needed to be. There was no direction for all of the people who were trying to order food vs people who had to stand and wait with barely anywhere to really stand and wait for their food.

It was a usual visit at my location. Except this time they got my entire order correct. I really like zaxby's... However, they usually mess up the sides and sauces. But this visit was correct. Food served very fast and accurate. Food was good (not perfect but good). Staff was OK. We went thru the drive thru so didn't see inside. Overall a better visit than usual.. Again, I stress the food is always good.. Only issues in the past has been service and correct sides/sauces

This place needs to be shut down. It is filthy there is a huge disgusting mess in the straw area my wife almost didn’t grab one. The cashier didn’t even property guide us through our order there are always kids in the restaurant being roudy and it’s seams they are friends with the staff. I believe someone spit in my food as well this place is horrible I wouldn’t send an enemy here. It’s crazy that the highlight of my dinner was my soda.

I love the fried chicken Cobb salad. I was not very hungry but decided to grab lunch-dinner. This salad is perfect. I enjoy the Texas Toast on the side as well.

The worst chicken strips I've ever eaten from a fast food place. It was over fried hard and in old oil. When I parked to go in there was a line around the building for drive through. When I walked in there was all teenagers behind the register and kitchen but reluctant to take my order. I waited for 10 mins before anyone even asked to take my order. Another 15 to get 5 over fried dry chicken strips with worst tasting Zax sauce. 🤢 I wouldn't suggest this place during their night shift. Smh

I don't eat here all the time but when I do I get boneless chicken and chicken fingers fries and I tried their half tea half lemonade slushie it was good. I love to get their zax sauces. I love the way their fries are seasoned and the toasted bread with butter is good.

I loved this place when it first opened. I've seen things drop off the menu and the decrease in overall quality. I went through the drive thru, and the woman was very nice. The food was another experience. I got the chicken sandwich, but there was barely any chicken; it was all breading! The fries... there was maybe 6 in total. Not to mention, the drink was filled to the top with ice and maybe had a tasting of soda. For the amount of money paid, I demand, not expect, better. This place continues its downward spiral unless Management actually starts getting their heads out their a**

I'm staying in the Extended Stay next-door and Zaxby's garbage blows into the parking lot here. The garbage also blows into the pond next door, which is the only bit of nature in this huge shopping complex. Zaxby's Styrofoam containers, styrofoam cups, plastic bags, paper, condiments, hairnets - all in the pond. Don't give money to this trashy business.
