I’ve been to this restaurant many times, so needless to say I’m a big fan. The food is fresh and tasty. The ambience is perfect. And the service is always top notch. I would recommend this place to all who seek a good meal.

Excellent food and service! We had the borek (cheese sticks) and stuffed grape leaves. I had the chicken kabobs and my partner (who is Turkish) had the lamb kabobs. Everything was very flavorful and perfectly cooked! Service was attentive and warm. We’ll be back for sure!

I love the place. Very pleasant atmosphere and courteous waitress. I love the food. The soup was delicious and everything else, except the lamb kebab. I was surprised to see that this time meat was hard to chew and was not marinated. Sharp difference with my previous experience. I hope they will improve that and make it a pleasant experience once again.

Something definitely was off in the kitchen on a Friday night. The restaurant was nearly full, but only serviced by 2 waitresses and seemingly only 1 cook in the kitchen. The mains took an hour to come out and everything was just ok. We ordered manti and the mix platter for our main courses. The dough in the manti was way too thick, to the point that you couldn’t taste the filling. They seemed a bit stale overall. The mix platter came out ok, with no consistency- some things were good, some overcooked, some burnt. You can tell the cook was struggling. The chicken was dry (you can tell it was slightly overcooked) and all the flavors of the meats were muted. As for the atmosphere, you can see that they are trying to look fresh on the surface, but if you start paying attention to the details in the restaurant like seats, ceiling and bathroom, you can see they all need an update. We skipped the dessert, but they did bring out some complimentary baklava to compensate for the delay. The best thing was the bread, which says it all. Overall it feels like the restaurant has potential to be really good, but is obviously lacking in quality and some managerial standards.

Love the food. So flavourful. The last time we were here there was some beautiful Turkish live music too. Great ambience, great food and great service :) 10/10 recommend!!

Atmosphere was very nice. I had very high expectations. But it took 45 minutes to bring our order which was just breakfast plate and eggs mind you we were the only dine in customers. One item was missing and when we asked they said it isn’t involved in the menu and we showed it was then they brought it. They randomly gave us a half bagel fresh out of microwave but hard as rock. And the worst part which made me give this review is that we asked them if the orange juice was fresh. They said yes. They brought it and it was from bottle. We asked if this was really fresh and they said yes yes it is. My husband said there is no way and the waitress said “it is fresh from bottle, i shaked it well” like thats crazy. It was $6 per tiny glass. Unfortunately I left very unsatisfied.

I was happy to see that there is a Turkish restaurant close to where we live. I was excited to try as I have seen all the good reviews. The service, hospitality and the atmosphere were fine. We ordered Iskender kebab and lamb shish kebab. The portions were generous however It was the most tasteless, dull and dry meat I have ever tasted at a restaurant. I just could not eat after a few tries of different pieces of meat. We also ordered ribeye steak , it cam almost burned outside but fine inside. I don’t know my experience was a fluke or business as usual but I definitely will not go back in the future, definitely not worth it at that price point.

Food was good, but for the price the portions were very small. I don’t understand how you can even skimp on the rice. $30 Entree came with bread and no salad. Left here still hungry, Not sure I will be back to be honest. I’ll stick to Silk Road next door or Hills of Herat a few miles down the road.

We had a wonderful time at Zaytin. Service, food and the atmosphere was exceptional. Moreover, the waiter was kind enough to provide a space for a nappy change for my baby even though they don't have a changing station. Recommend this place to everyone. 🌷

Our recent dining experience at Zaytin was spectacular. We began our meal with a delightful assortment of mixed hot appetizers, which included cheese rolls, falafels, and kibbeh rolls. While all the appetizers were delicious, the kibbeh rolls stood out with an outstanding special touch from the chef that elevated their flavor to another level. For the main course, we ordered the Zaytin Special Casserole intended for two people, although we were a group of four. Demonstrating exceptional generosity, the chef added four lamb chops to accommodate us all. The portion size was incredibly generous; despite our best efforts, we couldn't finish it and happily took the leftovers home. Both lamb chops and cubed gyros were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, a testament to the chef's skill and attention to detail. The service at Zaytin was exceptional, with staff members going above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was enjoyable. The chef himself took the time to personally check on us and inquire about the quality of the food, which added a personalized touch that we greatly appreciated. The ambience of the restaurant was another highlight. The decor and atmosphere were warm and inviting, making it a wonderful place to enjoy a meal with family or friends. We are already planning our next visit and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience.

If ur not Turkish, you might enjoy, otherwise, this place really does not have great food

I usually don’t write reviews but this restaurant deserves one. My family and I went there several times. Every time we liked the food. So far the experience was amazing. Hope they will maintain the quality.

I made it a mission to come here for the first time during my trip to Manhattan from California. The 1.5 hr commute was totally worth it. Incredible food, service, and atmosphere. I came here for dinner my first night in NJ, hookah and coffee the next day, and had to-go Döner another time during my 3-day stay here in Warren. I cannot wait to come here again! Best Turkish food I’ve had in the USA.

I wrote a 5-star Yelp review when I first came here a year ago, and after my 4th time I realize now I haven’t written a review for this place on Google. Myself being Turkish, I’ve lived in both California and New York for a total of 22 years, and Zaytin is the most authentic Turkish cuisine experience I’ve ever had in this side of the world. Delicious food, warm atmosphere, and a phenomenal + super friendly staff. The 1.5 hr trip here has been worth it every single time. I cannot wait for the next. I came here for dinner and breakfast. Their all-you-can-eat breakfast options are delicious!

My family spent over $200 at this restaurant and it was nothing but a disappointment and it was disgusting. The chicken was decent but the mix grill resulted in my family having food poisoning. The menu states that the mix grill comes with gyro, when walking back to my car I checked the dishes and saw no gyro so I called the restaurant and the lady stated they don’t sell the gyro in the mix grill anymore that it should’ve been taken off the menu. Instead of gyro they give you a mystery meat stick that I wouldn’t even feed my dog. On top of that there was no lamb in the mix grill. The salad they gave with each meal was just rotten lettuce and a few onions. The rice was rotten, it had a bad chemical taste to it and the bread was very hard.

Mustafa was a delight, friendly and attentive from the time we arrived until we left. The food was fresh, fragrant, authentic and very tasty. The restaurant is clean and decorated beautifully with touches of Turkey

We have been looking for an authentic Turkish restaurant in New Jersey since our trip to Turkey a year ago. We’ve found it! What an amazing treat to be brought back to the flavors that we so loved on our trip abroad. Each course was magically devine and well presented. Service was impeccable with the a touch hospitality of the people of Turkey. The ambiance is modern with Turkish lamps and art. The soft relaxing music accompanied each our courses wonderfully. Zaytin is now in our top 5 places for great food!

We came for breakfast, there was a wide variety of breakfast offerings, in addition to the normal breakfast plate, we ordered menemen, pastry, and fried eggs. The Black Sea kuymak was amazing, I also tried the chicken broth soup, which was also delicious. In general, the food menu is very rich and the employees are very polite. and helpful, a place I can definitely recommend.

I am a Palestinian man, however it’s has been a month since i arrived NJ, i spent a lot of time looking for a restaurant offers a Mediterranean food then i found this restaurant and it offers and prepared the best Mediterranean food i felt like I’m in home, also i found too many things related to my culture, the food was delicious, the people very kind and the service is too good.
