Best Ramen I've ever had. 😋 The Zen Chicken Ramen is to die for! It's a little bit pricey but I say it's worth it. We had the sesame balls for dessert as well and they were delicious

Everything was good, especially their crab rangoons. The ramen was good, but I wish these professional ramen restaurants would go into detail about how their ramen is different from the cheap and unhealthy store ramen. Some people might think that they're just cracking open packages of ramen noodles, but they are either making their noodles from scratch or getting them from a minimally processed source... But that's just what I assume, because there's no signs anywhere that emphasize how special their noodles are.

The food was very flavourful. It was also clear that it was fresh. We had the spring rolls and ramen. We also had the thai tea and taro tea. Both were rich in flavor, but I would skip the brown sugar boba. It would maybe disappoint avid boba tea drinkers.

Great staff, great food, great selections! Thank you for accommodating our impromptu family get-together of 12 people. You were quick in taking our order and organizing the order effectively. We will be coming back for more Udon noodles and sesame balls!! Great atmosphere for in dining.

[B E S T ~ Kimchi Fried Rice] Their Kimchi that they used for the dish was AUTHENTIC and simply made it awesome flavor.

Chloe was an excellent waitress! She was knowledgeable about the entire menu and was able to make recommendations based on my personal needs. The geef and tendon pho was delicious! My friend had it with the fresh noodles and I had the regular noodles. I tried the fresh noodles my first time here and I personally prefer the fresh noodles! Also l, this place has an inviting environment that makes the dining experience top notch!

We LOVE this place, by far the best Pho I’ve ever had in my life. All of their other entrees are also amazing. My wife got the red curry and it was absolutely delicious. Our server Chloe was very nice and attentive to us.

This is our second time eating here, and it was much more delicious this second time than the first. We ate in shortly after it opened and found the food then to be mediocre despite the good reviews for the Gainesville location. We ordered again yesterday because we were looking for a ramen soup with vegetables take-out option in the Terrace, and this restaurant was one of the few choices. We were pleasantly surprised at how much more delicious the soup was compared to the first time, especially the broth which was so bland last time. The marinated egg and carrot slices in the ramen were also delicious, and the vegetables added were very fresh (sprouts, cabbage, cilantro, onions). The chicken was tasty but a bit tough, and I ordered my ramen with extra scallions but did not note any real extra, despite the upcharge. The staff and atmosphere are great. Based on the success of our second successful order, we recommend the ramen here and will definitely be back. Cheers!

PLEASE HIRE 2 MORE PEOPLE!!! I ordered some food with my job (my food was sizzling shaken beef) and asked them no tomatoes because I'm allergic! Guess what I get with my food that couldve killed me! I go there tonight (4/13/24) to get my meal replaced after I spoke with Victor-he offered a refund but I would've rather had the meal. I get there tonight and Victor took one order and had a few of us waiting for 10 mins + while he make drinks, run food, get veggies and so forth. Yes great job at multi-tasking but take care of the customers in line, which it was only 2 of us left, and then go from there with the dine ins. After 1 person left out the line he then takes the guy in front of me order and doesn't even acknowledge me and say I'll be right with you or anything of that sort. I wait another 10 mins and I decide to go to him and ask 'hi are u Victor' yes I am- hi I'm waiting on you when you get a chance please. Finally he comes and I let him know who I was and yes he did remember and the meal was started after letting the owner know i was there and I also ordered a few other things because I wanted to try some small appetizers. I wait another 35 or so mins for my food and was told it was my appetizers which was on the ticket so I sit down and wait for the other replacement meal which i assumed was still being prepared. After all the people who ordered after me left the restaurant the young lady asks Victor do you know what she's waiting on and his reply was I don't know- yes I heard the conversation- and I approach and said I'm waiting on my meal Victor, he grabs the food opens the bag and says oh its all in there 🤯🫨😕 now my patience is very thin at this point because I got off work, came straight to the restaurant sat there for over 45 mins and literally could've been up the road home full and in bed 30 mins prior. Well I said to myself let me open the bag and check the food to make sure everything was right ONLY TO FIND THAT MY REPLACEMENT MEAL WAS STILL WRONG! Pissed off would've been a very bad understatement at this point but as tired as I was I politely asked for my money back for my food that I bought and just said one day I will come back when things aren't so busy and hopefully get the meal I want to enjoy. There has to be atleast 2 more people on the weekends to help out, answer the phones, bag orders and assist throughout the restaurant because they were very understaffed for a weekend- in my opinion. I really wanted to have my food which was the sizzling shaken beef with my onions peppers and scallions that they didn't give me with my second meal only meat and rice with no tomatoes. I just want to eat and enjoy it.

Went here with my family, I am a vegetarian, but the other members of my family are not. All five of us couldn’t decide what to order because everything looked so good! Many vegetarian/vegan options that are clearly denoted, and it looked like gluten-free options were also readily available. I had the tofu bao buns and the tofu zen ramen. Delicious! My family members had takoyaki, chicken zen ramen, pork noodle ramen, and chicken fried rice. They LOVED their dishes as well! Beer, plum wine, and sake is also available.

Great place to get your soup fix. I tried the bulgogi ramen and absolutely loved it. I will have to come back to try the other dishes. Aside from my bowl taking a while to get out, the two ladies running service were very attentive and knowledgeable. I'll be back for sure.

Me and my family got to Tampa decide to get Asian food my daughter wanted ramen . Very nice restaurant and staff. My parents and I loved the food only thing I would say is add more meat to the dishes be great for the price. $80 for 4 people no drinks. Appetizers were great would come back

Zen is definitely the perfect name for this place. Food, service, and atmosphere deserves more than 5 stars. I had the zen ramen with Kimchi and it was full of flavors, and very filling. Chloe was our server and she was very informative and has a great attitude. She’s definitely dedicated to her job and does it very well. The atmosphere was laid back, and calming.

Food was amazing! Chloe really knows her information on the restaurant, I had no idea there were more locations! I live really close and best ramen I’ve had in a while!! She told me they also have fresh noodles, I need to come back and try those! If you are in the area and need some delicious food then you NEED to come check this place out.

Wonderful service, the food was beyond fantastic. I met up with a friend who is completely impressed with my pic of a restaurant. Loves that type of food. I surprised him by bringing my guitar along and played out front. The manager came out and said hey, I missed the show. I really enjoyed that. They weren't upset that I was playing acoustic and singing. Everyone seem to enjoy it.

One of the best Vietnamese style crispy noodle anywhere. Nice searing hot wok flavor. Generous portion and quality ingredients. I dine here knowing full well from the reviews that this is likely Vietnamese chef cooking Asian fusion with Thai, Korean, and Japanese options which is not a bad thing. We do the same thing at home. The Pho Dac Biet is very good. We all have our own preference for pho broth but the stand out here again is the ingredient. The beef is so soft and the tendon melt in your mouth so you know the broth is cooked very long. The beef bulgogi ramen is expected. It's not going to be Japanese or Korean but a mixture of both. No hint of miso soup what so over which is what I prefer. Miso based ramen that are offered here in the Tampa/St Pete area tend to be salty. The shaved ribeye that came with the soup is very tender. You're getting shaved rib eye and not shaved chuck roast. The ramen portion is also very generous. This place would be a big hit in St Petersburg/Pinellas Park because quality ingredients in Pinellas Park is lacking.

I do not usually write reviews but I tried Zen Noodle Bar for the first time today and it was the best restaurant I have ever eaten at. It had a fabulous atmosphere. I did not feel cramped next to other customers and it was very clean. My server Chloe was very nice and attentive. She explained the menu and the unique variety of dishes they served. Everything was fairly priced and looked so delicious. The food came out quickly and tasted even better than I could have imagined. Good thing I was just visiting Tampa or I would be eating here every day. If you are in the Tampa area this is a restaurant you must check out.

4.5 stars. Do be fooled by the name or location to think it is just another Fusion Vietnames restaurant. Pho Short rib is really good. Especially if you get the dac biet with the rib. Alot of meats. Alot of stuff on the menu looks authentic. Good service for one person in the whole front .

OMG! Best Asian food I've had in a long time. Went there for lunch and was pleasantly surprised with food and service. The Bao buns were perfect! The shrimp on the noodle nest was amazing. Crispy noodles that softened with the shrimp sauce. Incredible taste! The Com teriyaki chicken plate was the perfect portion. Adding the egg on top of the chicken and rice brought the dish to another level! The Spicy Basil fried rice was perfect for sharing and well seasoned.

It's hard to find good pork belly Bao buns out there, but this place hit it out of the park! My craving has been satisfied!

Stopped in for the first time tonight to order food to go. You could tell it was minimally staffed. However, the service was amazing! Very kind and attentive along with a great personality. My Pho was some of the best I have ever had. Definitely will return soon.

Went to lunch and had the Chicken wings with sweet chili sauce. For the main meals we had The Bulgogi Ramen Soup and The Pork Belly Ramen Soup. All of it was good but if you want it spicy ask for a side of chili oil. The inside was clean and they only had one waitress.

Don’t think twice and come here.The ramen was exactly what I needed for a chilly night! Fried chicken was immaculate. Atmosphere was just right for a late night with the boys. The service was also exceptional! Pricing is good. And the bathroom?! THE BATHROOM WAS TERRIFIC!

The customer service and atmosphere of this restaurant is wonderful. I used the Google chat feature to ask a question about their menu and received a response in the most positive, respectful, and welcoming way. I was also able to make a reservation through the app and communicate that we were running a bit late which was also perceived well. After dinner, a follow up text was sent to ensure everything went smoothly and that we enjoyed our dining experience. I thought this was so thoughtful and something that not many restaurants do. Inside the building, it is beautiful. The decor is really zen and the place is kept clean. I had the Bang Chicken Bao and Chicken Phô and while it was not the best tasting meal I've had, I still really enjoyed my visit that I would not be opposed to visiting again and trying another menu item. Excellent work on hiring such attentive and customer oriented staff!

I have eaten a lot of ramen in Tampa Bay and have yet to find ramen that has filled the void of Ichicoro closing- this may be the one!

This place was a gem of a lunch break visit. The waiter greeted me with such kindness, and that care and attentiveness followed throughout my entire visit. I enjoyed the relaxing piano selections and the cozy atmosphere of this restaurant. I ordered the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup with a sweetened Green Tea and I enjoyed every bit of it! Flavorful and plenty of meat and veggies. I left feeling very full and satisfied.

First time going in and loved this place. It was early in the day so there weren’t many people, but a decent amount of seating to accommodate, and what you’d expect in a plaza business. Staff were great and the food was delicious. The Shrimp Summer Rolls, which were great. They were everything you’d expect, nothing more, nothing less; peanut sauce was thicker than most (ketchup consistency) but preferred by me. Other places I’ve been to it tends to be on the thinner side (watered down?). Bánh mì with roasted pork was flavorful, the bread was the best though. It had a nice crisp on the outside and slightly soft center; I think it was perfect. I’ve added this place to my list of returns, especially to try the noodles and bao buns!

Fantastic food, service, and ambiance. Good music, great environment. I've tried five separate dishes here and have yet to be disappointed. I also have a lot of digestive issues and I felt incredible after eating here. 10/10

This is a new place, and I went to try it out. I ordered the crispy noodles with spring rolls. The noodles came with fried egg noodles, garlic sauce, and mixed vegetables. There's an option of shrimp, chicken, or pork, but I'm vegetarian. The bowl was overflowing. It came with so much food in it. The noodles were crispy at first, but once you mix with everything, it's like a noodle bowl, but it was so delicious.

Waiter is nice enough but he hung back like you were going to bite him, no selling of what dishes he would recommend. Food, very generous portions and tasty. It's a plus Crumble is close for dessert 👍😀♥️

The food was absolutely delicious. I had to order for 7 people and wanted it to go. They were really accommodating and the food came quickly. Not to mention when we got to our destination the food was hot and fresh and the best we have had in a very very long time. The Thai tea made me feel like I was in heaven and was perfect. I wanted to take pics of the food but it was too late. We demolished it before we even remembered. We will mos def be ordering again.

Not really much for smoothies here, but they have milk🥛 and fruit teas 🍓🫐and they can make the fruit tea into a blended drink. They do not have any type of boba 🧋🧋here except for regular brown sugar boba.🧋🧋 The atmosphere inside of the restaurant is awesome as you can dine in and they also have a BYOB Liquor Bar🍸 and it's real cute. They also have an outside seating area but we didn't eat anything we just got the drinks to go so.. I will try the food another day but I've been on a blended fruit smoothie and slushy kick lately so this is what I'm reviewing.

Stopped in after a trip to Busch gardens. Service was great with Iris, and the Afonso here was nice- clean and modern). The food was so delicious (crab wontons, zen ramen, and stir fry noodles). Wish we lived closer so we could be back more often.

Nice place. Great staff. Everything we got was good but nothing was great. Summer rolls and dumplings were decent. Bulgogi bowl was good but I've had better. Pineapple fried rice was just ok. I enjoyed it's but there's other better options next time.

We were looking for somewhere new to eat, as well as something different. I picked this particular restaurant at random after my wife requested Asian for our "date night" early dinner. Service was top notch - we were met by the owner at the door and seated immediately on an early Saturday evening, then we met our server, Iris, and she was a gem. Not too intrusive, not too aloof, just right. She was super friendly, knowledgeable, and a joy to be around. The food was AMAZING. We started out with pork belly bao buns, and they were sublime. Every bite was delicious, I could have ordered several of just those and been perfectly satisfied, but then I would have missed something even greater - my Wok Noodle Bowl with fried egg.. My wife ordered the pad thai bowl. We were both absolutely amazed at the amazing palette of flavors with every bite. The portions were great! My wife had enough to take some home for round two, but no way I could manage to leave enough for a second helping. It was way too delicious. The restaurant itself was immaculately clean, well decorated, and pleasant to be in. This will definitely be one of our regular haunts from now on. A great ending to our date day/night.

Went to dinner Saturday,order spring roll and chicken wings.the rolls is good but chicken wings they have sauce on little side dish and you have to dip it and can’t taste the flavor. Also ordered pho and ramen ,soup is not hot and don’t like the way they serve in the Matel bowl,on my way home have stomach pains and throwing up, not going back or recommend to anyone but anyway service is great.

I am so sad to have to rewrite my review but I have too, I stopped in today looking forward to having dinner with my boys and was met with a rather weird smell still not sure what it was. The table we sat at was wet and although the server told us to sit anywhere he didn’t make sure the tables were ready he did bring us water before taking our order as I was sipping my water I found a cockroach in it I told my boys quietly not to disturb the restaurant. As we got up our server came over and I whispered to him why we were leaving he didn’t have much to say except look surprised I left the water there and left. I’m seriously disappointed because I’ve been here a few times and enjoyed but with this I was sick to my stomach!!!!

The Zen Noodle Bar's concept is a tricky one to pull off. They serve cuisine from multiple Asian countries which from my experience results in the jack of all cuisines but master of none trap. I had kimchi as an appetizer, a pho based beef side soup and a traditional Chinese noodle stir fry. First the pho. Pho is all about the complexity of the taste of the soup base first and the quality of the other ingredients second. There are two approaches to making pho base one quick and easy (pre-made paste) the other takes time and requires boiling bones and aromatics for hours. The very friendly server informed me they do the latter. The result was one of the better pho based I have ever experienced. The traditional noodle stir fry with three meats is of Chinese origins. I am not a fan of the vast majority of American Chinese restaurants. The food is typically way to salty, oily and heavy. This place was a wonderful surprise The sauce was light but flavorful and the veggies crisp. The noodles were exceptionally flavorful and lightly fried to perfection. I definitely plan to go back.

Wife and I ordered the Pad Thai and Veggie Pho for take-out and not only was it quickly prepared but it was the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had flavor wise. Dynamite job staff. Glad we tried Zen Noodles and we are coming back in like 3 days

Excellent food and everyone was so nice!

After craving Vietnamese food, friends and I decided to visit Zen Noodle bar. Unfortunately, from the beginning it was not good. The drinks were flat despite being replaced. The bao buns and filling tasted like frozen food just heated up. The meat tasted rancid and despite telling them, they insisted it was just the cut. They did offer to remake it with a different type of meat, but at that point all appetites were out the window. For the prices, this was definitely not the experience you'd expect. I would not recommend eating at this place.

Everything was delicious. I added mixed veggies to the drunken noodles and it was the best drunken noodles I’ve ever had. My partner had the Zen Ramen and he loved it. I also tried it and loved it. It had some of the best soy cured eggs I’d ever had in it—perfectly cooked. We will definitely be back.
