Very dark and dingy. Waitress took our drink order then disappeared. Kids hanging out in a bar setting, helping their selves to refills. Definitely not a BBQ or western style restaurant. It's more of a hole in the wall bar setting. Brisket was way overcooked and tough and served as a sandwich and had to be taken off the bread and ripped apart. Burger was dry and tasteless.

RIBS 🤯🤯 11/10! It’s that amazing ! Sweet potato fries are a must ! Great quesadillas for kids you can add protein if your choice we added chicken. 🔥🔥 Thank you guys ! Blessing to yall

Atmosphere was pretty quiet Ordered the wings & BBQ sampler. Food was great. Their bbq and boom boom sauce was my favorite from our order. I will be back for more wings.

I ordered pulled pork which arrived on my plate, looking really dry and crusty. It was not tasty either. The bbq sauce seemed bottled. The fried pickles were really good. I won’t go back.

Do your research before you go here if you are looking for good over the pit tasting BBQ. I got the 3 meat sampler all of which was baked not BBQed. Not very good at all. I hate to post this because I did try this place 3 times now.

Best Burger 🍔 I have had in a long time! Very tasty and the fry’s were amazing! I really don’t like French fry’s but these were really good! Will be back!

Went for Monday lunch. Service was great! It wasn’t busy but our server was on point. The food…less so. We ordered the pulled pork dinner plate and build your own pulled pork nachos. The pulled pork for both was barely warm but more disappointingly, fairly bland in flavor. The meat was tender and had some burnt ends so there’s that. After about 5 min, the nachos had sogged out and just became mush. Sides wise, another miss. Mac and cheese has a homemade taste, but was overcooked and rather mushy. Baked beans were good. Fries were nice and crispy.

Absolutely positively amazing! Delicious food and great service, karaoke night is awesome. Don't know what else to ask for. 4Cs is easily in my top 3 favorite restaurants for BBQ from here to Colorado thay I've had

First time I went there called my order in at 8:40 pm they close at 9. Ordered 6 pieces rib dinner with Sweet Potato fries and fried okra. Order was delivered on time and very delicious.

Really good food, service was as best as one waitress could do, the decor leaves something to be desired, nothing a paint job and a little cleaning wouldn't fix

My waitress had 7 tables she was taking care of never neglected a single person she managed everything like it came naturally and her conversation was short and sweet! The food is some of the best BBQ you will ever eat and their bar is top notch and has everything you would want out of a bar.

Is it a second-hand store? A bar? Or a want to be restaurant? To be 100% honest, the greasy meat plate, labeled as pulled pork, was horrible, lacking any flavor outside the greas. I couldn't tell if it was a flea market, bar, or a restaurant, then again, i didn't come on Saturday night to enjoy dinner and karaoke (another odd combo). On a good note, it made me appreciate Burger King.

Used to go there quite a bit when they first opened but the past year their service has gone down their food has gone down the atmosphere is trashy

Definitely a nice local place. Huge building with lots to offer. BBQ was good and super affordable with large serving. Service was polite but slow. So if you are looking for a fast stop while on the road I'd skip this. If you're just looking for good old bbq with great prices, then this is a total must do.

Says buffet on Sunday but no buffet anymore

My wife and I, order takeout from the 4C's bbq in Defuniak at least twice a month. We always get the ribs. Love them. But last night we ordered our usual ribs and they were over cooked. Was still delicious, what we were able to eat. A little disappointed but we will eat from there again. Wonder if they offer military discount!!!

They were slow at getting food out but that wasn't their fault they had 2 big tables and once they told us why it was taking so long we were good our waitress was the best to keep updating us

Not impressed I used to go out on my way to eat here. Last few times I’ve been slowly getting more and more Disappointed. I won’t be coming back.

I'm from Georgia so I'm pretty particular about my barbecue. We've been here for 4 years, and decided that it was time to try them out. I got ribs, and pork with two sides. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich. The decor, service, and friendly atmosphere was awesome. Of the two servings of pork we had mine was 2/3 fat. I'm going to have to give them another try, but I won't be ordering their pork again. Hell, I smoke a butt on my way better than what I was served. By the way..... the restroom was nasty, and there were two urinals out of order for Lord knows how long ? If a bathroom looks bad I typically won't eat anything from the kitchen. UPDATE...... 5/17/24 Ordered wings to go on an extremely rainy day. Had a beer while I waited, and the service from the bartender was excellent !! Don't forget to stop by Heroes next door for drinks, appetizers, and a game of pool. All in all a fine establishment.

Suppose to be prime rib Thursday..ordered it an another server came up to our server an said no prime rib tonite. . order steak.. I wouldn't recommend looks like they got thier meat (ribeye) from the mobile meat man at 10 steaks for 40 bucks...steak didn't look like the steaks in thier pics on here...not worth 28 $$.an baked potato was cut in half not a full potato... I asked for medium rare mine came out well done

Trash as can be . Waited 45 mins extra from my Togo oder just for it to be missing items. On top of that it was cold as can be. For $85 worth of take out I wasn't impressed by the quality of our meal. Definitely won't be back there anytime soon ! Stay clear 👌

Great food and staff is so friendly

Brisket on my sandwich was very tough but very tasty. Service was great. Wife and bro-in-law both said their prime rib sandwiches were awesome. We'll try it again next Friday evening.

1st time eating here tonight and I got the build your own baked potato and it was huge and very good.

A quiet reserved atmosphere in the late afternoon, the staff bustled about with smiles on their faces and with 9 people, didn’t get any orders incorrect! The food was delicious and well priced, the staff were polite and greeted us professionally and warmly. Overall we had an excellent experience.

Ribs were delicious. Baked beans need a little work. Service was just a little off, but it was in the middle of the afternoon.

Have to pay attention to the signage if that what you are looking for but it is next to Dollar General’s. Family dining side is the far right door. Atmosphere is black ceilings wide open dining are. Huge stage on one end of dining are. Staff was good but under staffed. Food was really good. We will return.

Certainly not the greatest BBQ I have had. Their sauce is thin and only 1 option. The jalapeno ranch is very good. They do offer other food options in addition to BBQ. They do offer daily specials that are normally better than most things on their menu. This place is only slightly above average due to lack of other options in the area. Their food prices are a little higher than most and the portion sizes tend to vary.

I had 2 dinners door dashed. One brisket and one pork. This is the absolute worst burnt pulled pork I have ever tasted! Went straight in the trash!

This place was recommended by coworkers as I was new to the area. The atmosphere is great, it's located in an end unit in a strip mall and from outside doesn't look like much. However when you get inside all of that changes. First of all it is a nice, large, open atmosphere decorated rustic Chic. Our service was slow, our food took a long time to come out, and everything we ordered; apps, salads, etc all came out together with our entrees. I will say though they seemed to be understaffed and also had a large size party in the private room and I'm sure that impacted both the kitchen and wait staff. The food itself was just okay. My wife's blackened fish was seasoned unevenly with some parts being caked with dry, burnt, blackening seasoning while mine was dry. I had the smoked ribs, brisket, and pork. The ribs were good but as I mentioned the pork and brisket were both dry. 3/10 I will try again.

Food was fantastic! I got the ribs and they were so smokey, juicy, and falling off the bone! The atmosphere was great up until the bathrooms though.

The only reason I give them 4 stars is because they don't give you enough sauces. And they don't leave a bottle of bbq sauce on the table anymore.

This was like a home away from home. They were super busy with 2 busses and that did not deter the service the rest of the non bus folks got. The food was delicious and the service was awesome. My go to stop when passing through.

I had the brisket sandwich and it was great.. the seasoned fries were cooked exactly as I like them.. crispy and not too dark! My friend had the pulled pork plate and seasoned fries 🍟 She had no complaints! It was quieter than normal tonight, so I could actually hear my friend speak 🧏‍♀️ 😊 The waitress was very attentive and quick to retrieve whatever we requested. Give 4C BBQ a try 📸

Wonderful food and terrific service gluten-free options

Went there to play pool with some friends. Bartender kept disappearing. Ordered the brisket. It was dry and tasted like cardboard. Prices are high, so prepare for an overpriced menu. To end on a good note, the atmosphere was great if you like sports. We were there on a Saturday, and there were lots of college football games on televisions.

This is a great local barbecue joint. We have been a few times. We visited on a Friday evening about 7:00 pm. We had no wait for a table. Our drink and food orders were taken quickly, and the food came out quick, too. My husband ordered the sampler, and enjoyed every bit. I ordered the tuna dip sandwich, which was really delicious. We also shared an order of cheese curds. They were super fresh and tasty.

Ran in today for lunch had a brisket wrap to go , if you haven't had it you aren't living right! Great folks great food shame they can't write you a note for the nap you'll need after the food. Thanks again 4c's for lunch!

Best hole in the wall BBQ our family has had, and we have definitely been AROUND. We started with their chicken balls that were crunchy, soft on the inside and a cheesy kick in the middle. Fried mushroom caps that were perfectly crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Hubs had the bbq sampler and it was HUGE with very tender meat that had a good bark layer. Their sauces were great and all homemade from the look of them. I had the build your own loaded baked potato with pulled pork on top and sautéed mushrooms. Our son ordered THE BEST juiciest boneless Buffalo wings any of us have ever had with an AMAZING homemade bleu cheese sauce. Too it off that they give you a 3% discount for using cash! Definitely recommend!

I thought the food was decent until I heard who I believe to be the cook walking around belching and farting in the kitchen area. Sorry but I don't want people like that anywhere near my damn food. I asked an employee about it and they just laughed it off and said " that's just what he does!" and went on her marry little way. My girlfriend about vomited and we'll never be back because of this.

Its in a mini mall complex but dont let that fool you. It was the best prime rib, ribs and fries!! Some of the best bbq we had.

Food wasn't that good for the price. Service was okay, it could have been better since they weren't that busy. The atmosphere and the experience was the best part.

I was really looking forward to trying the ribs however the ones I received were old and not eatable. The onion straws were good though.

The food and the prices really sucked. The loaded fries for the wife had 3 maybe 4 fries. The burger I got was charged. The waitress was a joke. Came in with some friends after a day of swimming. Was seated quickly and had an extremely kind waitress. She was quick to help and answer questions and was very warm. The food was out pretty quickly but some of the dishes were not very good. We ordered a pulled pork sandwhich, a pulled pork dinner, a grilled shrimp wrap, fried pickles, fried onions, and a BBQ sampler. The fries, pickles, fried okra, corn bites, and grilled shrimp wrap were good. The meat, however, was extremely lackluster. The pulled pork has little to no flavor and has the consistency of mush. Taste doesn't improve even with spicy bbq sauce. It could use more of a smokey flavor and seasoning, as well as being actually warm. The brisket was incredibly dry and tasted like someone had rubbed the brisket against a dirty grill. The ribs were a tidge a dry but not too bad overall. Mac and cheese was also disappointing unfortunately. It had a strange sweetness and consistency akin to Velveeta cheese sauce but still managed to taste worse than boxed Mac and cheese. Overall, the food was alright at best but I was extremely satisfied by our customer service. Though, we probably won't be coming back.

I don't know what happened with the bad reviews, but our experience was wonderful!! The food was great and the service was fast and friendly. We're not from around here, but if we're ever passing through again, we're stopping here!

As you can tell by my plate there is nothing hardly left lol, my kids loved the chicken and season fries they said 5 stars! Smoked chicken breast was on point as well! I’ll be back soon!

Great food and service fun eclectic atmosphere

We came through about 3 years ago and spotted it from the road...glad we did..that's why I came back. I was doing work at the ECTC and had to stop and eat. Food was Excellent! Service was Excellent! Atmosphere was Excellent!

I just recently moved to Defuniak Springs. I’m the type of person that needs two things: a place that I can go eat, and never have to worry about what I order, and a "Cheers". I want a place where everybody knows your name, and everybody is welcome. 4C BBQ is that place in Defuniak Springs. The food is top notch, the service is top notch, but the atmosphere is what you will go back 4. I edited this due to poor talk to text performance. It also may have been the three beers I had.

Ordered 2 steaks, one well done, one medium. Both came out blue rare. Sent them back and still were severely underdone. Mac n cheese was curdled, baked beans and baked potato obviously sat. Only good things were the pulled pork sandwich and appetizers. Everything else was revolting. Got a 90% refund. My stomach is tied up in knots. Will never come here again.

The steak salad was yummy and the service was fantastic. Lunch on a weekday garners you *all* of their attention!

So glad we found this place on the way home to Atlanta. Everything we ate was delicious! From the cheese curds, to chicken fingers and ribs. The service was great. Don’t sleep on this place! You’ll regret it.

Service was good and place was nice looking. But I wouldn't feed that food to my dogs. Ribs were like 2 day old overcooked. My friend got the fries with the pork and cheese over the top of it (supposed to be the most popular item on the menu according to the waiter) and it was soggy and the pork was not that great. Needless to say, the was a lot of food left on the plate when we were finished and no leftover were taken home. $50 later and still hungry.

At 5pm I was served a gummy baked potato and the brisket had crispy edges aa if it had been exposed to air. There were also flies in the dining area.

My ribeye was so tough I had to saw it like a piece of wood like a hand saw...then chew for a minute to be able to swallow it... I'm alot better at grilling a steak than their cook... the potato was two days old too. I didn't eat half of it... The salad was good.... My dogs loved the ribeye jerky...LoL . I've never had a bad meal at 4-cs till then...

I ordered a loaded baked potato and it be was delicious! I cnt remember our waitress name but she was so so friendly and got our orders in Android they were just as we ordered them. I! Would like to add that I watched a woman that I believe was the owner, chase a man down in the pouring rain and give him what must have been part of his order that he left without.

Easily the best spot for food in Defuniak!

I've had fun playing pool here (heros). Ive had awesome service in the dining room. The food is hit or miss. Great salads several times.. sloppy soggy nachos another time. The female bartenders at heros def cater to their regulars and treated me invisible. I stood patiently waiting for one to talk about her weekend with an already served patron for wayyyyyyy too long. And. She never did ask me what drink I'd like or even make eye contact (even the veteran sitting in the chair next to me apologized for her rudeness), a gentleman came from 4c dining next door around the back of the bar and he's the one who helped me. Hes the only one who took my beer order all night. That same middle aged woman who acted as though I was invisible was hollering and taking shots with her regulars often. On a different day a younger female bartender was all but not present behind the bar each time I tried to order a beer. She too was busy hanging out instead of working. I stood waiting so long that I left one time, another time the guy I was with went outside to get her. Unacceptable service at Heros as a whole, but at least the older gentleman holds the place down professionally... when he's there.

First time, got it to go.The pulled pork was more like mashed pork, chopped really fine, super mushy, no texture..poor quality, almost like they scraped the last bit out of a pan. The beans and cole slaw were sweet, just not to my taste.

I love this place. Ate there several times and Sat in with a few Bands too. Good People GREAT ATMOSPHERE.
