Delicious food; wait times were a bit long but service was excellent- definitely worth the wait.

They use such strong fragrance in their cleaning supplies. I didn’t even make it in the door. I’m sure the migraines gonna be hell. I won’t try again

Wow pretty amazing food. The menu is mostly gluten free. The only downside is the price is quite high in my opinion and the place can get quite warm inside.

I had the Pollo a la Plancha, which was “boneless chicken breast marinated in homemade pineapple juice topped with pineapple pieces and served with rice, plantain slices, and salad.” It was a decent, if unimaginative, meal that I would have been pleased with to had I made it at home but was not very interesting for dining out. The restaurant was hot, likely because it was 90° outside and I don’t think they were running the AC. Another patron asked the server to turn the AC on, though since I saw an indoor wall unit I don’t believe they have central air. The service wasn’t attentive; we had to ask for our drinks to be refilled, and no one checked in on us. Overall, an okay experience, but one I’ll likely forget about almost immediately.

Great food with a ton of gluten free options. Service is exceptional. We come here every time we're in ABQ. The ropa vieja is amazing!

My wife and I had lunch here on a Friday and it was really great. We arrived around 1 and had no problem getting seated. I had the arepa sandwich which was very tasty with the arepa bringing a great flavor. My wife had the vegetarian plate which was very good but we decided the sandwich was the winner. Only item was that my wife likes black tea and they only had green tea and herbal tea bags. We will return.

My Colombian husband and I decided to try this place for the first time, and we really enjoyed our meal! The ajiaco was delicious, and the bandeja paisa was good as well. The jugo de lulo was really tasty! The prices are a bit high, but everything was worth it!

Delicious, fresh food served with a beautiful presentation! Sooo good! I had the patacon con ropa veija and it was yummy. One of the best meals I’ve had in Albuquerque. The restaurant is very cute and in a cute area. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to go back!

Patacones were fresh, the arepas were yummy and cheesy and the ajiaco was delicious. They have great vegetarian options !! Their empanadas were crispy and flavorful. Unfortunately, we devoured everything and didn't get a chance to take pics

Excellent service and food. One waiter served the whole restaurant and he was awesome. Our food was hot temp, beautifully presented and the taste was off the charts.

Entirely gluten free menu, all amazing food

We got the hawaiiana empanada and the bandeja paisa plate, and it was delicious! Most of the menu is gluten-free, and all the textures were excellent! The beans with hogao were the best I’ve ever had.

Excellent restaurant in the heart of Nob Hill. The food is delicious, the service is very friendly and the music transported me to Latin America. I think it is advisable to call and reserve to secure a table. I called half an hour before and they were able to accommodate me. I will surely be back soon! Highly recommended!

EXCELLENT food: definitely get the soursop juice with milk. It's more like a fruity shake, or drinkable sorbet. Pairs perfectly with the spices of the rest of the dish. I got patacon con ropa vieja, which is brisket in a special sauce, with rice and beans. Absolutely incredible flavor meld and everything perfectly cooked. Fun music and great decor! Loved this place

Took 40 minutes to receive drinks. Got our appetizers before our drinks. I noticed this is an issue here. Never got checked up on when’s e got out food or if we wanted dessert. Very disappointed in the service. I get it’s busy and it can get overwhelming, but service is important in restaurants.

The food was delicious and the waiter was very friendly. The patacon con ropa vieja, empanadas and pollo a la plancha were excellent.

The empanadas are amazing. The arroz con pollo is amazing. Arepas are wonderful. Nothing was a miss. Authentic and fresh is still true here. Staff is friendly and efficient. It is small and a tight squeeze, but the cafe feel is still nice. We recommend it highly.

This place is great if you are having a lazy afternoon. The food is good and the service is sweet. Do not come here if you want things in a hurry. This is an old school neighborhood style restaurant. Take your time, enjoy.

Service was very, very slow. Overall, the areas and empanadas were dry. The fried banana was very hard. Just not a lot of taste. Would not return.

Delicious food served by experienced and informative wait staff. The owner made perfect suggestions after asking about our food preferences. I brought a friend from out of town and he read very impressed with the restaurant.

I love the fact that they had the little replicas of the medellin houses. They where so nice, and colorful. The plantains were delicious. The areba/ Mas with cheese taste different than the ones in Colombia. The stuff was friendly. You walk in ND wait to be seated. They played Colombian music which was delightful

Went here because my fiancée is Colombian and I found this as a restaurant on our way back to St. Louis. Couple miles off the highway but worth it as the customer service was great. Food came out fast and the ribeye steak was absolutely delicious. My girl definitely gives it 2 thumbs up as a native Colombian so they should mean a lot. This restaurant is highly recommended for healthy Colombian eats 😊

OH MY GOD! Some of the best food I have ever had in my life! I have had empanadas before but not like this.... I don't even know where to start. AMAZING!

We came in on a friday and we did a reservation for 2 through google. When we came in we were seated right away with our reservation. We were given a menu which was easy to read and understand. The atmosphere for the restaurant was cute, simple, and a little on the smaller side, which was not a problem. The bathrooms were clean, and the overall dining room was clean. The restaurant was out of wine and only had a couple of beer choices, and we ended up ordering the rib eye, arepa, chimichurri sauce, and a salad. Food came out about 1/2 and hour later and we felt like it did not live up to the hype from other reviews/family and friends. The chimichurri sauce was really good and definitely the highlight. The portion size of the steak between the 2 dishes was off, and mine was well done compared to my wife's medium. The salad was refreshing but would have liked some more dressing. The arepas were good and smelled/tasted fresh. We plan to go again and see if it was just an off night for the food. It was a little difficult to find parking but a little walk was nice before and after.

Do not order take out from this place. The service has been going downhill for years. If you do, expect extremely long waits and orders with food missing. We had liked the food and the restaurant was in the neighborhood so we let it slide many times. This time was one too many. We waited for an hour (what was estimated on the website), when I arrived I waited for 10 minutes to talk with the host and eventually found out they hadn’t put the order in. The host told me they would be another hour to get our food or refund our money because they were busy. Update: 1 week later and still haven't received a call from the staff (who promised they would call in an hour and refund our payment).

Great food and they had live music that was wonderful on a Friday night. The service was very good even with just one person who seemed to be working both the kitchen and waiting tables. Really enjoyed our time here.

Ajiaco is one of my favorite local spots to grab lunch or an early dinner. There is not a single item on the menu I would not suggest. Their cappuccino is my favorite in town.

This restaurant is my to-go place whenever I crave for pork rinds or chicharron when I’m in New Mexico. They also have a good bandeja paisa. Service always was good and friendly. Food presentation was always appetizing, price was affordable but serving amount was a bit little but so far, it was a good dining experience.

This is a wonderful eatery - the food is always fresh and flavorful. The staff are friendly and helpful and the menu is full of tasty dishes: Ajiaco soup, arepa sandwich and the pollo la plancha are favorites. Oh! And those glorious empanadas! So good!

A special little place tucked behind nob hill. With new flavors and some of the best empanadas I have tried. The simple sides are some of my favorites, beans, potatoes, yuca fries and sweet plantains. I hope to try everything here eventually which I probably will since I love to show people this place. It's a nice change from the same ol same ol.

The flavor of the food was good. However, there is not much seating so I suggest you get there early. Furthermore the food leans towards the lighter side. For they indicated the first big plate could feed two. Furthermore the black sausage (morsilla) on its own was $6 if that gives your a frame of reference of price.

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. From the moment we walked in I was in love with the service and atmosphere. Our sever was friendly and helpful. The food was top notch. The fried cassava appetizer with chimichurri was my favorite item and quite possibly one of the best things I’ve ever eaten in my entire life. Chicken empanada was a close second. I am gluten free and dairy free and my server was able to recommend several items that would work for me. It seemed that almost the entire menu was gluten free. If you are a gluten free person passing through Albuquerque… or any person in or passing through Albuquerque, you must go here.

Fantastic - unique cuisine, friendly and helpful wait staff, and just casual enough atmosphere. Dined here tonight with family of 6, including two younger kids. Not a noisy, "family oriented" establishment, kids definitely needed restraint and reminders to behave appropriately, but I got no sign or impression from other diners or staff that the kiddos' (normal) restlessness and louder outbursts were disruptive. Only limitation (and not for us, just noting...) is that the menu options seem on the heavier side. We ordered the heavy, fried and BBQ options, so of course that's biased, hehe...we did order one veggie main dish that certainly was lighter, less fried options. I don't know Colombian fare at all to comment if this is a "comfort food" oriented or just a smaller (it is a bistro after all) menu - but there were several arepas (which we had been wanting to try, so glad to find them, they were great tonight!) and empanadas options. Just to suggest know what you're going for, if you know Colombian food the menu may currently new lacking something you might expect to find... Staff available and helpful with menu, prompt with requests. Keep up the good work and we will be back!

Bueno soy un foodie en especial de mi gastronomía, visite está restaurante y debo decir que le doy 5 estrellas a las empanadas Hawaianas, ganadoras, si tienes mucha hambre no vayas a pedir el ajiaco pequeño, realmente es muy pequeño literal 4 cucharadas, pero si comes poco como yo, está bien. Bandeja paisa, arroz insípido mi esposo que es asiático dijo parece de asia, no colombiano, el chorizo el chicarrón y la carne secos, parecía un caucho y tocaba remojarlo con agua. En general la atención muy buena, son amables y el lugar es agradable. Gracias @eltalnick Well, I am a foodie especially in my gastronomy, I visited this restaurant and I must say that I give 5 stars to the Hawaiian empanadas, winners!!. If you are very hungry do not go to ask for the small ajiaco, it really is very small literally 4 tablespoons, but yes you eat little like me, it's fine. Ya he bandeja Paisa…insipid rice, my husband who is Asian said it looks like Asian, not Colombian, the chorizo, the chicarrón and the meat were dry, it looked like a rubber and it was time to soak it with water. Loved the yucca fritta basically crispier French fries. The pollo a la plancha was also very good. It was simple, but delicious. My niece and nephew stole about half my food. Totally fine though, as portions are large.

This place is great. Get a 'de pollo' empanada while you're here. The Carne Con Arepa is delicious as well as the Cafe Colombiana.

Honestly, it was really bad for me at least. Maybe it’s because they’re missing staff but it was a big disappointment for mother and I. The service was extremely slow and we had to get menus from the other table. When we ordered it took at least 45 min for the food to get to our table. The food was really bad like crunchy, dry and felt like the only two things they added were salt and pepper. It would be a no for me. Very unprofessional. Please don’t go here. Thank you.

Good food made fresh. I ordered a chicken & rice dish; coffee flan for dessert. My friend order chicharrón, it was amazing. Service was slow but my order was correct. I did not have to ask for anything other than my check & to-go box. Additionally, the restaurant is in the Nob Hill area which is considered to be pretty safe. Parking is tight along the street but I would definitely recommend this restaurant for Columbian cuisine.
