Too late couldn’t add pictures was gone before got home

We came through here on a week night during a cross country drive. We chose our seat and were able to order quickly. We ordered the falafels as an appetizer. They were definitely unique among falafels I've tried, but unfortunately not in the best way. The texture was of chopped bits, like the chickpeas maybe weren't cooked all the way before they were mashed, or that they were rough chopped rather than mashed? I'm not sure, but they weren't my favorite. I ordered the hummus and lamb plate and my husband ordered the chicken shawarma. They were good, filling plates, and they came with a side of both wheat and white pita. The hummus and lamb plate offered the perfect portion of meat for me. I do think the plates are priced a little steep for what they are, but it was a good experience.

Excellent authentic food that's seasoned to perfection. The baklava tasted heavenly. I highly recommend this place.

When they first opened they were a 24-hour Mediterranean diner! Their stuff was fantastic! Then, for a long time they were only lunch and dinner after that. But now they serve breakfast lunch and dinner. Their food and services are spot on! Jackson is lucky to have such an awesome restaurant!

We got a Chicken Shawarma Sandwich and a Veggie plate. The dips (baba ghanoush and hummus) were delicious. The falafels had a really nice texture and everything else was great too. However, the service was above and beyond! They were patient with my questions and had everything ready to go for my to go order. Highly recommended!

As someone who has tried several different Mediterranean restaurants I have to say that this was the best one by far. Food was great and arrived quickly, fully prepared. Our server was a sweet lady who knew what she was doing and what to recommend. The prices are fair and affordable. Highly recommend.

A weekly favorite where I meet regular group of friends....we all love their Mediterranean fare!

Called and asked if everything they served was HALAL, they said yes they are, so I ordered. I called the next day and I asked again and they said they have a few things that aren’t, including the thing I ate the day before. I don’t recommend this place if your looking for halal, full of lies.

Jamie was super kind and went above and beyond. Food is flavorful, and the portion you get is great for the price. Check out the grocery in the back for whole spices, European chocolate, and meats that meet halal standards.

I love to stop in for lunch. The food is also so fresh and good, the gyro plate is fantastic. The meat is so tender and perfectly season. The hummus and the rice are prefect side items for the meat. The burger is great also and my husband loves the lamb chops 5stars all around.

Pit stopped for a halal meal and google search recommended Aladdin as the 2nd option. Made a call to ask if their place had a semi truck compatible parking. Their owner confirmed thar behind the restaurant there's ample space to park which is true. So All you my fellow truckers I highly recommend this spot for a quick in dine in or to go. Food is just awesome! First bite and I was like yeah it's right off the grill. I ordered their lamb kabab served with Saffron rice and house salad. Also had grape leaves stuffed with rice. It turns out that I want to continue treating myself so ordered baklava and Turkish coffee to have a grand finale. Karla was our server and she did a fantastic attendance so ask for her when you come here to dine in. I give this place an all stars for it truly deserves all the appreciation!

This plate was hot, tasty, and rightfully portioned. The hummus had me dancing in my seat, and I want to buy a jar of the dressing they drizzle over the salad. 😋

Really yummy and great service. I believe our waiter was Maranda is what our ticket said and she was really nice. The food was really yummy, super smooth humus, and the shwarma was great. Most of the food is also gluten free. The gluten free pita was lacking a little, but still pretty yummy anyways, and the rest of the food certainly made up for it

I actually went to the side store behind called Aladdin they sell herbs, spice,food you can cook. I've been looking for Goat meat and they sell it there. The employee was very helpful and I loved my experience

The wheat pita is not freshly made as I thought. Tastes like the store bought versions. I’ve had way better seasoned falafel from a local in Okinawa Japan, the ones here were tough. There were 5 half inch pieces of tomato on the falafel pita. The lentil soup was …regular as well. Touches of spice/curry it seemed. Maybe I ordered the wrong items for first time visit.

I love the Chicken Lulu, which is ground chicken that has been grilled and seasoned to perfection. It is paired with rice, humus and salad. I don't eat humus. So, I get double salad. This is a delicious option for someone trying to lose weight or eat healthier.

This place reminded me of local restaurants in Beirut, Cairo and Aleppo. The food had Lebanese origins. I was disappointed that only pieces of pita bread was available. No Gak, no mountain bread, no fresh khubis. The other disappointment was the very thin Turkish coffee. It was strong. But not nearly intense enough. The green cardamom seed was appreciated All in all, a wonderful place to eat ethnic Lebanese food with correction for American taste buds.

The restaurant was fine it’s the manager that is the reason I will never go back a member of our party ordered a dish she has eaten elsewhere when the dish came she did not like it and ordered another dish after tasting it when the bill came she asked to have it removed as she could not eat it the manager flat out refused to and would not even have a conversation about it her answer was NO and that was final. Never going back even if the meal was free

I love the lentil soup, the sautéed vegetables over rice, hummus, lula kebab, and lamb. I tried the French fries for the first time recently and they are the best in town. All the fish dishes are great.

I go for lunch or dinner. Next time I will go for breakfast. The atmosphere is pleasant. The wait staff is friendly. The food is very good. The falafel plate is good. Chicken Tecka is my favorite. The hummus dip is very tasty. Enjoy!!

My wife and I were looking for an authentic Mediterranean dining experience with good food and good table service. The Aladdin Mediterranean Grill was awesome. It had amazing great tasting food and atmosphere. Our server, Mohammed, was one of the best waiters I have had the pleasure of meeting. It was our first time coming, but we look forward to coming back again.

The food and our server Karla made the experience one of the absolute best we have ever had! The food was just amazing!!! The lamb was to die for. The sampler appetizer had so many neat things we have never tried and all tasted so great. Karla was super nice, gave great recommendations and took wonderful care of us. We could t have asked for a better experience and look forward to coming back again one day!

The food here is excellent, I especially like the tabouli and the mint tea. By far the most impressive thing about this restaurant is the speed. Seems like my order is always ready within five minutes when I order to go!

Food was great! Will definitely come back for that alone. Music is loud, and the room doesn’t do much to dampen the sound. Lighting flickers, and the lightbulbs aren’t they same color. Tables and chairs are a bit old and tattered. Biggest complaint is using abrasive cleaners to clean tables. It’s a tightly packed room, so when cleaning tables, it’s not appropriate to use something with a strong odor. A simple sanitizer is more appropriate. Safety concerns: from where I’m sitting, there’s only one exit for the dining room. A room of this size needs to have a second exit that doesn’t go through the kitchen.

Great taste! One of the best falafel and tiramisu i have ever tasted!! The price is very very reasonable. I drive 2 hours just to eat there from Natchez Mississippi. Highly recommend this place.

I ordered gyro and when I got home it had NO bread and I wasn't happy with that otherwise it was good

We have been loyal customers for nearly 20 years for a reason. The consistency of the food never ceases to amaze me. It is delicious! And, we love Yosef and his entire staff, many of whom we feel are “family.”

Wonderful little place, may not look much, BUT the food was spectacular! The gyros seemed totally homemade, the beef kabob was tender and tasty, and chicken shwarma to die for! Not been as blown away by a little place like this in years... 125% recommend!

First time visiting upon a recommendation... I see a sign that says Please wait to be seated... The waitress sees us in the entrance and never acknowledges us to say, I will be with you shortly or anything.

Can not rate the food bc we’re told to sit downstairs where no one was or order to go, I thought that was a bit odd being the restaurant was not very busy at all. My husband and I are in town for work and we have never been treated so poorly and the hostess was rude and short with us. Terrible experience I’m glad we decided to spend our money elsewhere!!!

My experience there was cool, but I wasn't too satisfied with my food. I am going to try it again. Maybe it was a bad day to go. I've heard such great things about this place.

I tried the grilled lamb after seeing such good reviews for it! I was very happy with my meal and my sage tea. I would love to see the pita bread made in-house rather than store bought. Lastly, please wait until the restaurant is closed before mopping with cleanser. The smell can ruin your palette while eating. I definitely recommend this restaurant to try!

The food is great and they have some of the best prices in the greater Jackson area for Mediterranean food. The ambiance and decor is very nice and authentic also. Great place for a nice sit down dinner or dinner date. The last time I was there it looked just short of a lovers lane there were so many couples there.

Oh, my goodness, when a dear friend of mine who had kicked around Jackson for a few years recommended this cute little establishment, I was incredibly excited to go check it out! Even so, I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised at not only the utterly adorable yet authentic decor but also the delightful flavors that tickled my tongue! As per the usual with Mediterranean cuisine, we left satiated but not overwhelmed by the flavor or the quantity of food we'd consumed. If it had been earlier in the day, I would've loved to try some of their coffee offerings but the mint tea was an absolutely wonderful coupling to the well-rounded flavors we found ourselves consuming. Having said that, we certainly plan to return the next time we find ourselves in Jackson!

1st time I ordered food here it was very good . Today was my second time here, I ordered the Turkish coffee with a chicken shawarma plate. It started off with me getting the food literally less than 5 minutes from ordering and shortly after the coffee. The bread, coffee and hummus was good but the rice and chicken was not fresh . I drove 30 minutes to get here and dined in to get food that was not even fresh.

Average place for this pricing.. Ordered 40mins earlier and had to wait another 15-20 in store. BE PREPARED TO PAY EXTRA IF YOU ORDER ONLINE, I PAID $10-15 ON TOP AS THEIR ONLINE MENU PRICING IS OUTDATED!!

Smallest portions I’ve seen anywhere in my life. Food was pretty decent. Lamb chops were about 4 inches long. Maybe 3 tablespoons of hummus for right at 6 dollars. I frequently make hummus and lamb and I can tell you the prices are outrageous.

Honestly a great place food is good wish they had Ethiopian dish or two on the menu but everything is good

Consistently great. A must for the family at least every 2 weeks, dine-in or takeout. Suggestions: Barramundi, lamb chops, veggie dolmas, cheeseburger, lebna, tiramisu. . . all of it is good, just depends on what your palate wants. And try out the GROCERY STORE on the outside in the back. Dine or pick-up, you can't go wrong.

I got the shakshouka and the lamb and egg euro they were pretty good. The gyro could have used a little more sauce and the shakshouka would have been better if it had some meat.

Met a friend for dinner who was craving great Mediterranean food. I had the Chicken Lula Plate (fresh ground chicken marinated with herbs and spices and served with green salad, yellow rice and hummus). The seasoning was EXCELLENT! Great food and service.

The service was good, deserving a solid 4 stars. I had no major complaints in that department. However, I must admit that the Arabic salad didn't meet my freshness expectations; it seemed likely prepared in advance, affecting its overall quality. The dicing of the ingredients was also finer than what I'm accustomed to. As for the falafel sandwich, it was tasty, though it was on the smaller side and didn't quite resemble my idea of a wrap. It even seemed pre-prepared, possibly heated in a microwave and wrapped in foil (which, to be fair, is common practice in many places). However, I did notice cooks in the back making others, so it might have been a one-off occurrence. Price-wise, it was reasonable for the portion size, but it's worth noting that if you have a hearty appetite, you might find yourself wanting a bit more. However, despite the good service, I didn't quite get the authentic Mediterranean vibe I was hoping for. It felt more like going to a diner, which might be the ambiance they're aiming for. So, in conclusion, I'm giving Aladdin Mediterranean 3 stars overall, with 4 stars for their service, even though I couldn't shake that diner vibe. Would I go back? Yes, I'd give it another try, but next time, I might explore other items on the menu like hummus, baba ganoush, etc., or even order two meals for one.

I usually end up going to Aladdin and ordering too much food and taking several boxes home. Everything is so good! They have a GLUTEN FREE pita wrap. I love the Lebna, Hummus, Gyro, Veggie plate, Chicken Lula and MINT TEA. Now they have BREAKFAST. Oh my. Eggs, cheese and gyro meat in a gluten free pita?? Yes - and so much more. Make it a point to try the AM menu.

My favorite Mediterranean restaurant ever! The atmosphere is great, the service is always amazing, and the food never disappoints! Lots of vegan/vegetarian options that my daughter and I love.

I was disappointed. Portion size:Great Flavor:none. I ordered Combination Shawarma plate through DoorDash. The bread was so much warmer than the meal. Did not provide plastic ware. Which is bad for hotel deliveries. Places are not guaranteed to have those. Food was room temp. The hummus is still Great! But overall not worth it. I was very disappointed. Looking forward to the saffron rice. Unfortunately had a pile of unseasoned grilled meat. The salad was fresh. 🤷🏽‍♀️

If someone doesn’t nt have exposure to verity of Mediterranean food then it's good, while place mostly covered by all fast food chains. Secondly for the price it was average portion “ could have better”. Also quality of food could be better. “ felt like take away food was serving on table”. Service was quick and soon you finish your meal they r ready to kick you out but in very professional way 👍🙈. Got feeling to be rushed for order “ even after finishing my meal” I was pushing to order 🍮 desserts, I was looking for kunafa which they don’t serve so waitresses kept pushing me to order tiramisu, right after she is bring me a check “ and already asked me “ do I want my drink to go?” Means please leave . 🤣🤨🤔😬. NO for me 🤛🏻 won’t go back or recommend to my friends or family. Yes I will recommend for someone, who is looking for change. Sorry guys 🙏

Love this place. If your fasting (like a Daniel Fast) this is a good place to eat. It's also a great place for groups too. If I'm in the mood for veggies only, this is my go to restaurant. The hummus is delicious!!! My 2 favorite dishes/entrées are the Sautéed Vegetables Plate ($13) and the Chicken Shawarma ($15). You can't go wrong with either!!! Oh and don't forget the Hummus ($5). Oh and I love how they cut the cucumbers on the side salad😊. This us just a really good choice overall! They also serve breakfast!!

It's worth a trip for the grilled lamb chops. I'm not sure this is always the case, but on my visit, the hummus was finished with a robust olivevoil and a jalapeño pesto. I'd never had jalapeño pesto before. I could have had that alone with some bread and been content. It was great on the lamb too.

This has been a celebrated mediterranean restaurant in the Jackson area. I have been going there ever since they started over 20 years ago. Unfortunately, over the many years, the quality of food has deteriorated to the point that I had not been there for sometimes until today. I ordered some takeout and was excited, hoping that the quality of food has improved. Unfortunately, not only has not improved. It has gotten worse. The chicken kebab was extremely dry ,rubbery ,and not tasty at all. What remains in question Is that what happened to the food at my beloved restaurant? Have they changed ownership? How about the chef? I sure hope that they improve the quality of their food and not take their customers for granted. Very disappointed.

I ordered the “meat” dolmas plate. The dolmas are the diameter of my pinky and are about 3-5% meat and the rest stuffed with rice. I’m not exaggerating. Very disappointed - with tax and all I basically paid 17 for a plate of rice with a very tiny salad. Very sad. Got my order to go so I didn’t have a chance to ask for something different.

Aladdin’s is a Mississippi staple. And anyone who understands Mississippi commerce knows that most start ups do not fair too well. This place has stood the test of time. It’s just delicious. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere matches. It’s a smaller, cozy place that is well decorated. My wife and I had our first date here and it is still a Place that we consider every time we talk about Mediterranean food.
