My experience at this restaurant was exceptionally pleasant! From the scrumptious food to the friendly staff, I love Firefly’s/Alfredo’s. The lasagna is a must have along with the pizza, Cesar salad, and garlic knots. 10/10. Wish I had taken photos but I didn’t intend on doing this review, however the food was so delicious I had to!

I wasn't really sure what to expect. I just picked up a medium customized veggie pizza and a large cheese pizza. It's outstanding! The staff is so friendly and the sweetest boy I think he's the owners son was playing with my 5-year-old. We'll go back again! just wish there were some more mushrooms on as I paid for double mushrooms but other than that, delicious pizza!

I never ate srilankan food before. This is my first time, My brother ordered chicken kottu and egg roti with chicken curry for us. The taste of both the dishes is so great. This food quantity is literally more than enough for two people . We enjoyed the food, loved it.

The service at Firefly was fantastic and their homemade marinara sauce on the Margherita pizza made it a standout meal for me.

It was my first time trying out the place, I saw it opened up near my house and was curious to try it. I ordered the firefly chicken wings and 2 slices of Hawaiian pizza. It was very good, and the flavor on the wings was amazing. The pizza was very fluffy and crispy. The atmosphere was also very welcoming and everyone was friendly. I enjoyed all of it definitely recommend for anyone who’s thinking of trying it.

I was greeted with sincerity. The young lady at the register was helpful in explaining the variety of dishes. The kitchen staff is always taking their time when preparing food, hence why the food always hits the spot. I'm a customer for life. Feels good when mom & pop establishments know what they're doing!

There were a lot of mistakes made with my order of three items and not that it was busy I was one of 3 customers. I do like to help local small businesses but if they don't pay attention at the beginning they cannot expect to grow

We really enjoyed our food tonight! We got a Large Pepperoni Pizza and Ziti and both came out perfectly cooked and had great flavor. After our meal the owner came out and was so nice! I would have gone back because of the food but will definitely because I love supporting small business owners that care about their business. Keep up the good work!

Had a great dining experience with my whole family today. Alfredo’s has always been consistent with the flavor of there foods. The new owners of now Firefly have continued with that and introduced more delicious variety of choices. The atmosphere, service and food was excellent.

Cute, family owned restaurant! It is evident they take the extra effort towards quality entrees. Attention to every detail from straws to dishes and the presentation of the meal, even the quality of the take-home containers and bags are excellent. Fresh salad with fresh vegetables and shaved cheese. Alfredo is delicious. Pasta is yummy, and the garlic rolls are big and have the perfect amount of garlic. Staff wants to ensure an enjoyable atmosphere and experience. The owner was enthusiastic and friendly and was happy and appreciative of our first time visit, and made us feel welcome! The Family Special offers a nice variety. We will be back!!!!. Thank you for the great night out, close to home.

There is just so much to say about Firefly, we are genuinely blown away! What an unbelievable restaurant and what an amazing person in the owner Sam. The food is incredibly delicious, the portions are extremely generous (the family specials specifically are incredible value), the atmosphere is intimate, and they truly care about their guests. Sam, the owner, had come to find that our neighbors were there taking us out to dinner to celebrate our recent engagement and so he went out of his way to go get us a balloon, flowers and surprised us with a strawberry cheesecake at the end of our meal! We cannot say enough about how incredible they are. They truly go above and beyond, and as we mentioned, they knock the food out of the park. They absolutely deserve all the business that they can get. You must go here, as it is truly a new Cooper City gem and one of our very favorite restaurants in Florida! 🍽️❤️

Chicken parm sandwich was not good. The chicken was VERY tough and extremely hard to chew, I couldn’t eat half of it. I will not be returning

This place gets better each time we go! It’s been so great to have a spot like this in the neighborhood and we love our experience every time. Sam and his team are great, and we were glad to see the business transfer into good hands with him. An easy choice always!

Everything was delicious. Reasonably priced for large portions. I got a house salad, my husband the Ceasar, both used fresh ingredients. For the entree we had mac'n'cheese and chicken parmesan. Had enough to take home for another meal.

This is a pizza rating only. I was not a fan of the thickness of the dough and found that the pizza was not cooked enough. It had too much cheese. I would like to try their regular food but was not a fan of the pizza. If you like thick pizza with a ton of cheese, this place might be for you.

Our HS team had an event last night and Firefly supplied the pizzas, 2 pastas, and garlic rolls. Wow! Everything was delicious. The pizza crust was perfect... crunchy, not soft and floppy. We had no knowledge of Firefly until yesterday. Now they are our new place for pizza and pasta!

First time eating with my son at Firefly. We had just come from his volleyball game and he was hungry. The service was great. The food was delicious and came out quickly. The price of the food was reasonable. The owner, Sam, came by and chatted with us. Very nice. We had a lovely dinner and will be going back.

My family and I absolutely love Firefly pizza! They are located in the Walmart plaza off griffin and flamingo. This pizza place was previously called Alfredo’s but now is under new management/ownership. They beautifully painted the walls to resemble the cover of the novel “Firefly Lane” by Kristin Hannah. The staff incredibly nice and attentive. The pizza is delicious, the sauce had the perfect balance of sweetness to it. There are many different options of pizzas that you don’t see everywhere, which is great when you are tired of regular pizza. We tried the jerk chicken one; it was spicy and delicious! My absolute favorite is their eggplant parmigiana. I’ve now had it as a sandwich and a pasta, both so good. Lastly, the staff is amazing! They are attentive and truly care about their customers. I wish I took pictures to share..

Tried there 2x's, first time pizza WELL over cooked, threw half away. Tonight 2nd time, ordered online XL pepperoni and other toppings.Go to pick up not even started pizza, they screwed up something, go back 25 minutes later, pick up pizza glance at pizza not burnt come home hand out a couple slices, NO PEPPERONI AT ALL!!! Unacceptable, good luck Firefly but you collected the last of my money

I just came from this restaurant, a much-anticipated addition to the Davie area, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations. The pepperoni pizza was simply amazing, and the Dancing Firefly wings are an absolute must-try. I've never tasted wings like those anywhere else. The garlic knots and fried rice were also delightful additions to the meal. Beyond the incredible food, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, thanks to the friendly and welcoming staff. We can't wait to return for another fantastic dining experience. Highly recommended!

I used to come to Alfredo’s all the time for my two slices of pepperoni, my favorite slice of pizza in the state. To see that the quality has stayed the same and perhaps even elevated despite it being under new management and a new kitchen has made me really happy. And I’m sure the old owners felt happy too leaving this place in very capable hands. My server was very warm and gave me my space to enjoy my meal. Highly recommend giving them a chance.

This new spot has become one of my favorite eateries in South Florida! *Update* After eating here at least a couple times a week for the last 2 months, I can guarantee this restaurant is excellent and I can't wait to see what they do next! The staff is courteous and their hard work is noticeable when it comes to their pizza, wings, and even other dishes such as a phenomenal lasagna I ate earlier this week. One of the worst Pizzas I’ve ever had in South Florida. All three of my kids did not like it as well. I was rooting for this place but no bueno.

First time trying this place out and let me tell you, I will definitely be back! Got the chicken parm sub and it was delicious!!! The employees are so friendly and nice! Give it a try.

Had lunch here today and was blown away. The food was great. Service was great the place had a nice atmosphere. I definitely recommend and will re-visit. I had the chicken parm sub and the wife had the penne Alfredo with chicken. Both were amazing and very cost efficient. Definitely ask for the strawberry watermelon juice. Absolutely Recommend

IHave been a friend of Alfredo for 20 years, and a good customer. I wish the new owners the best. At the moment 2 months ownership, they are not ready yet for prime time. Could write a book, i will just say the tables were full of people with nothing on the table and the girl at the register with a dozen paper tickets from taking orders on the phone, speaking on the phone, while trying to take my money all at the same time. 7 pm and 2 hours to closing. I wonder how many tables got any food by closing time.

Good pizza joints are hard to come by and Firefly is one of them! We had their tandoori chicken pizza and dancing firefly wings and it was awesome! Definitely would eat here again and try other things on the menu!

We decided to try Firefly for our daughter's party today & I'm glad we did! We ordered a few cheese, pepperoni, meat lovers & a veggie pizza. Everyone raved about how good the pizza was & kept asking where it was from. It's also nice to support the locals so we'll be back to try other things on the menu.

Decided to try a new (old) little place for my Birthday dinner. The name is now Firefly Restaurant , formerly known as Alfredo’s Pizza. I grew up eating their delicious pizza & calzones. Prices were always great and still are. Now under new ownership with new name. The food, SO good. Not only was the food delicious, the new owner was very nice and even made a point to come walk us out and talk to us. Also while there we saw an employee help an elderly lady take her pizza order to her car. You just don’t see this very often anymore. Our waitress was great , very friendly. Highly recommend you go try them if you live in the area! Was a great Bday dinner.

I was in town for a golf trip, looking for some pizza on a Sunday night and found firefly online. Pizza was absolutely fantastic. Owner greeted me as I walked in and took care of me at the counter. He was a very genuine guy, very kind and you can tell he’s very passionate about his business. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a solid pizza at a solid price. I’ll definitely be back when I come back down for another golf trip!

This place is a hidden gem. It's family owned and operated and it's hard to say what's better, the food or the customer service experience. Both were phenomenal and top tier. They have complimentary garlic knots and olives, the bread is to die for with crisp edges and the perfect center. The firefly wings were divine. We had a cheese pizza for my daughter and a tandoori chicken pizza. Both excellent but the tandoori chicken pizza was top notch. Absolutely yummy. The cute waitress who is daughter of the owner was attentive and kind. The owner came and introduced himself as well. They are such a nice family and deserving of the support. An incredible experience and a must try!!!

This family owned restaurant has recently been purchased and remodeled. The food is wonderful and very reasonably priced. Service awesome. Once you eat here you will return often! Wide variety from Pizza to delicious pasta dishes, soups salads and an amazing fried rice from Sri Lanka. Even the bathrooms sparkled! Try this gem you will be very pleased! Fried rice!

Hey all, be sure to try the Firefly Italian Restaurant! The pastas were delish (creamy veggie- house specialty! And lasagna like homemade!!) and some really creative pizza options on a crispy crust! The side salads were fresh and large. The prices were actually unbelievable. Liquor license pending. Finally, the staff treats you like they’ve invited you into their home. Great local spot!!
