Great meal blueberry Pancakes the only suggestion I would give is add an item choice with pancakes and eggs and meat it’s kind of unusual to have to add 2.00 per egg and 4.00 bacon as sides when most breakfast restaurants have a pancake and egg and meat choice on the menu for one price .

This place is a historic gem with great food on Lake Winnipesaukee. For the full experience, arrive by boat and make a reservation—they have convenient numbered docks on the shoreline. We visited for breakfast and were impressed. They use real NH maple syrup, and the steak and eggs are a must-try. A pleasant surprise was the "trucker" drinks. They offer two flavors, but my favorite was the strawberry dragon fruit, complete with a fresh strawberry on the rim. The decor is steeped in history, with lake photos everywhere and even a piece of timber from the 1938 hurricane 🌀 that hit NH and New England. Their gift shop has a nice selection of mugs and other souvenirs.This is a great place for a special occasion—my family took me here for Father's Day. I can't comment on the rooms, as we only dined at the restaurant.

Best spot on the lake! We have been coming to Ames for breakfast for decades now, and there is a reason, it really is the best. Great service, stunning location, and delicious food! Wether you come by boat or car, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Ames farm for another wonderful summer of delicious breakfasts!

Had a wonderful time with my Mom & Dad. It was a nostalgia trip because we stayed there 45 years ago and it looks the same as it did then.

Can't ask for a better place to stay. Cabins are rustic but the view is perfect. Nice sandy beach along the front of all the cabins. Boat ramp and docks for the boats. Fishing is great right from the beach. My fishing club has been going here since 1984

Our most favorite place on Lake Winnie!! We having been coming here since 2016. Nice family atmosphere, great breakfast place at The Ames Farm Restaurant. There’s something for everyone here! We can’t wait to go back in 2023. Peggy and her staff are wonderful hosts!!

They were very accommodating for my reservation for Sunday breakfast. When we were finished packing to go home, we wound up being very early for our reservation. They allowed us to come in and have breakfast anyway. We have had breakfast here for the past six years and have never been disappointed in their service or their food. A five star experience! Thanks so much!

There are decent gluten free options, all the food is good. I highly recommend this place. Call first if you have large party.

We went for breakfast…you cannot top the service and our meal was delicious. We were lucky enough to sit at one of the two tables on the front porch with a direct water view…the day was gorgeous, food was delicious and, again, service was top notch! Blueberry pancakes will not disappoint… Just pulling in the driveway you are transported to a more pure, simple time and it is beautiful…

Been coming here every year since 2015 , great fishing spot , cottages have just about everything you need for a great weekend , staff is super friendly !!!

Loved that there was NO TV and NO WIFI. Truly relaxing! It was our first time and we were treated like family! Our cabin was right on the lake and the view was amazing. Enjoyed having coffee as the sun was rising over the lake. Can not wait to go back!

Cottages weren't too bad. Only downside is there isn't a ton to do once you get up there. Make sure to watch for a big field. There is no sign coming in off of 95 so watch out

I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast today. The waitress was courteous and saw to our drinks and order promptly. The prices Are reasonable and the view spectacular. I highly recommend this home environment for breakfast and lunch. Everything was cooked as ordered too. Looking forward to returning again!!

Only open seasonally. There is good spread between tables. The servers are all so nice. Can't beat the views from the dining room. No outside seating this year. They've made it through COVID-19. Great breakfast & lunch!

Wonderful breakfast as always--best hotcakes on the Lake, terrific friendly & hardworking service, all under a lovely fresh air tent on the huge lawn with all tables overlooking beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee. 130 years(!) of family summer traditions and memories in a safe and healthy and gorgeous environment. Reservations only! Tip big for folks working so hard! Also open for takeout😊

It's fun to sit outside this year with beautiful views of the lake while you eat your breakfast. Service is great, even with the servers having to run up & down the stairs from the kitchen out to the tables! Tip them well, please!

Went for the first time this past weekend. Staff was friendly and breakfast was delicious. Ordered blueberry pancakes and they were a great portion. Fruit cup was fresh and yummy. Their omelettes were a great portion as well.

For years as weekenders this has been our favorite breakfast place and it continues to be now that we are locals. It's a family and extended family tradition. The service is always fantastic. They hire local kids from the area who always seem to be happy to be there. Someday I'd like my kids to work there! The food is always good. We've had everything on the menu. The prices are very reasonable. My personal favorites are the blueberry pancakes or the western omelet (with sausage instead of ham). The owners are super friendly. We're always greeted with a big hello and a smile. The little gift shop downstairs is a must visit. They have not just souvenirs but items from local artists too. When the restaurant at Ames Farm Inn is open and we get to visit, it's one of our happy places.

Oh my goodness. What a great place for breakfast. It's a special treat. Their pancakes are delicious and we love that real make sure is included. It can get busy though so hang out on the lawn and play some games while you wait.

Boat docks available if you would like to travel by boat. Nice views of the water. Excellent food. Try the blueberry pancakes!

The food and service are excellent.

I didn't stay in a room, but a group of us came here for breakfast. They had all the traditional breakfast items like eggs, toast, bacon, sausage, a variety of omelets, pancakes, French toast, and some others. We all loved our meals, and the prices were good, too. After, I took a walk down to the water's edge. The scenery is beautiful. It is on Lake Winnipesaukee, but it is on a smaller part of the lake, so you don't feel overwhelmed. There is a swimming area and some boats docked. There is also a large grassy area that looks ideal for picnics, frisbee, or whatever else you feel like doing. If you're in the area, I would suggest stopping by at least once for breakfast or lunch and just seeing how beautiful it is.

They were so accomidating. We had to check in super late due to a concert and they waited up for us not even the slightest hint of annoyance. It's amazing the Age of the place I love that it has history. Being on the lake makes it that much more awesome. The room was clean and a great size. It was very comfortable. The inn also serves breakfast which was so good and reasonably priced. The staff was timely and kind and made sure to check in on you (but not too much). Definitely a great experience and would love to stay with themagain! !

Brunch was great! Big portions with a home cooked feel - very tasty. The view leading up to the water was perfect and they also had a lot of lawn games set up!

Went up to visit friends who had a cabin on the lake for the weekend. I had driven by before but never seen how much the place had to offer! Beautiful lakefront views and a well kept property to enjoy. Cabins are cozy but quite spacious with room for guests. I would return!

Loved it - now may favorite place on the lake. Great family business and we all of them could not be more pleasant. HIGHLY recommend.

My family has been coming here every Memorial Day weekend for something like 80 years. It's the most relaxing and family friendly experience you will ever find. You really can't beat the experience. It's truly one of a kind.

I went to Ames Farm to get breakfast with my family. The eggs, pancakes, French toast and normal toast were all delicious! The hashbrowns could probably have used a lot less seasoning and we all pushed ours to the side. Other than that the food was all amazing, great service, and great atmosphere! Absolutely adorable location and so scenic.
