Worst Service EVER!! My 76 year old mother was waiting 45 mins and still No food while 5-6 other people have ordered and got their food!! This place is ridiculous and we will NEVER come here again! If I could give it a 0 or FFFFF I would!! Yall abuse Old people and it's a dang SHAME!

first time going. It's a cute place to sit outside. Ordered burger and fries and between me and hubby we waited over 25 minutes to get that. it's a bit pricey but the food is good BUT they fail to give you ketchup, mustard, pickles or lettuce on your burger. for the price we where a bit disappointed. they just put a slice of cheese on it. also, we where not served any napkins. I may be back to give them another chance!

Waited about 40 minutes outside for our food. Not hot. Hundreds of sweat bees swarmed us as we sat on the picnic table, a hair in my brisket, but they did discount our food for our extremely long wait. I would not go back, my husband said he would.

The food is very tasty but OMG the portions are so small for the price!!!! I literally got 18 fries with a small pork sandwich and about 7 bites of coleslaw! All for $12.99. For 4 dinners it was $71.00 All small portions except for the pig stickers. I'd much rather be having a steak dinner somewhere else!!!!

I have never had better BBQ. Arrowhead is at the top of their game. Excellent sides too!

The ribs are amazing! The potato salad is perfect side match that with the baked beans and you’ve got the perfect meal. Great people.

This review is solely for the fish, nothing else! We love the bbq but, go elsewhere if u want fish! This was my first & last time buying fish from there. Was really excited to see that they were now selling fish……..until buying & eating it. First, we spent almost $20 for 2 small pcs of fish, 3 tiny hush puppies, and 1 side. I wasn’t terribly upset at the price, until I saw & tried the fish. Like I said, there were 2 very small pcs, and they had absolutely NO FLAVOR at all. Kinda mushy & stringy too. The breading would’ve been ok but, there was literally no seasoning to it whatsoever. As someone who would eat fried fish 3x a week, I’m very in touch with good, mediocre, and bad fish…….and this just not fish I would eat again. For the price, there should be bigger portions because, the 2 pcs I got wouldn’t have filled up my granddaughter. Save urself some money & get ur fried fish from Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken (Bardstown location). For less than $10 u get huge portions of well seasoned fish, a biscuit & 2 sides. It’s actually enough to make 2 meals out of for myself. My advice to the owners would be, stick to the bbq because it’s amazing! Fish was bland & not what I expected from there, and the price for portion size, is crazy expensive!

LET ME TELL YOU...... This is the BEST kept little secret in Hodgenville. We stopped here on the way home from picking peaches at the orchard. We were hungry and tired and looking for something good but we found so much more. Skeptical of the outdoor only seating but not wanting to settle for the hum drum of fast food. THIS WAS FAST AND nothing short of amazing. We ordered 3 pulled pork sandwiches, one with fries and the other two with onion rings. SO TENDER and the smoke was perfect; subtle, sweet and just melt in your mouth. No sauce necessary but as one must I did try it with the homemade spicy sauce and it was another level up. Tangy, sweet and a heat that punched but didn't linger or leave any bitter aftertaste. Made you want to dip in over and over again. That sauce was good on the pork, onion rings or the fries, I even scrapped the cup with my finger at the end so not to leave any behind. The onion rings were seasoned, and crispy and the fries equally pleased the eye and taste buds. Our total was $39 and we took home enough left over pulled pork for about 2 more sandwiches. We demolished the fries and rings so the leftover pork sandwiches will have to be eaten with chips. No complaints about that. This man is already CRUSHING it and I hope he continues to grace this community with his talent. It's a little out of the way for someone like me that lives on the north side of Hardin County but I'll definitely be willing to make the trip again just to get another taste, next time I hope to sample some of the other creations on the menu. This man has a sign posted about the limited amount of each item and that it's a first come first serve. When he runs out of something then he will just be out. So get there early to get a pick of everything on the menu. Drive thru service or walk up window order and then eat on the picnic tables situated out under the awning. I want to apologize about the pics of the food, it was so good that I was half way done eating when I realized I had not taken any pics of the food to post to this review. So whatever you see in the pic, double the amount you see to get an idea of the portion size.

Ribs & brisket very good! Pulled pork good flavor but chopped too fine for us. only sold by meal or full pound....no half lb. Cary out only but packaging of ribs very inconvenient.

Loved this place. The food was spectacular. Had the brisket and pulled pork with beans and slaw. Wish we could have tried the ribs but they were out. This place is definitely worth the stop. Only thing it needs is a little more seating in the shade.

We got a KY magazine in our mailbox and I seen this place advertised in it as one of the best bbq places in KY. First time we stopped they were closed so we stopped by today and we were not disappointed. Absolutely amazing flavor on the ribs and fresh off the smoker. The customer service was outstanding; even though we walked up to the window and placed our order instead of using the drive thru like the regulars said we were supposed to do(We didn’t know). They workers didn’t even mention it they gave us a menu and took our order happily. The sweet potato casserole was heavenly. Best I ever had! Made me continue eating past my point of fullness. My husband said the potato salad was delicious as well, and even though he was full from the ribs he about polished all of that off as well. Icing on the cake, $30 to feed the whole family. That was with 3 drinks and two waters.

Wow! Kind people and the best brisket we've ever had. Kids went crazy for the sides and were almost in tears when we told them they don't have a location in San Diego 😂

This was our first visit. We enjoyed the food. There is no eating in, the drive thru was fairly busy but we didn't have to wait long

I have frequented this establishment since they first opened at the previous location. I must say that they have improved consistently over the years. In years past my reviews said that they needed to work on the sides. More recently I will say that the sides are quite good. I love the addition of the corn bread as I never felt like the Texas toast was executed to suit me. The meats have always been good. I used to go for the meats and just curb my expectations on the sides but now I enjoy all of it. I hate to leave the review on a negative note but I have to address their sign. While the quip about liking their butts being rubbed is suggestive and funny, it doesn't go too far. Having that image in a child's mind who reads the sign isn't so bad I guess. However, I think the part about liking their pork pulled is very gross. I feel like it's too crude for a public sign by a daycare. I realize this can go over a child's head but I don't think it's needed.

I moved in yesterday. It's the best to see with your own eyes. I will edit my review after trying it.

Best BBQ we’ve had in a very long time.. I had the ribs and 10/10 Husband had beef brisket, everything was so yummy , we will definitely be back!

So at this small intersection seemingly the mille of nowhere you find arrowhead bbq. My partner n i swung through on the way to work. We ordered through the drive thru. Unfortunately, they ran out of deviled eggs, which tells me they're good. We both ordered the pulled chicken. I really like the way they serve it. I'd describe it of kind of blended chicken n sauce similar to a slopy Joe. It was AWESOME! The potato salad was good, and the sweet potato crinkle fries come cooked to perfection sprinkled with cinnamon n sugar. No wonder they've won so many awards. 👏👏👏 when word gets out on this place, they're gonna need a dining room! It's too good to eat in the car 😁

Lunch was amazing today. Had the pulled chicken, baked beans, and loaded mashed potato casserole.

We got Arrowhead for our sons wedding. The food was Fantabulous. Everyone bragged on the bbq. And the sides were delicious too. I recommend them to everyone. YUMMY

This BBQ is by far the best I’ve ever tasted. The flavor and quality of meat is absolutely the best. All of the side dishes are excellent and the desserts are to die for! Do yourself a favor and get some today! In addition, I picked up a 1/2 pan of pulled pork BBQ for my daughters birthday party. Everyone raved over it’s deliciousness!

Everything we’ve ever gotten has been amazing and this family is so sweet! When I was pregnant I craved their cheeseburgers. My husband laughs because they know who he is before he even gets to the window. I love this small town and I love to have great food options here in town! Go get some supper and go down to creekfront and eat or take it home for a night in you won’t regret it!

This place is awesome. I was so afraid when they moved out of their old facility that I wouldn't be able to get their yummy BBQ, but thankfully they opened this location!! Best BBQ in Kentucky. As someone who has tried many different award winning BBQ eateries from Dallas to Memphis, I can tell you that this place tops even the best of them.

We just happened along Arrowhead BBQ while we were out for a drive. It’s a mom and pop restaurant with drive thru service only. They do have patio seating on their front porch though. The BBQ was very flavorful. The sauce was so good we almost checked to see if the sell it by the bottle. I got the covered nachos, and the portion size was much larger than expected. That is always a good thing. The staff was very friendly. I just wish they had a menu posted outside. (maybe I missed it?) They give you a menu when you pull up to the window but I felt rushed to pick something because I didn’t want to hold up the line.

Some superb food! On the first bite, my husband made such a happy groan that I immediately started to dig in. I think I am completely ruined for pork due to this place. I am not sure what kind of magic they used, but the shredded pork was SO FLUFFY! It was like eating a pork cloud. I still cannot figure out how they did it! I will probably spend the rest of my life trying to achieve the same results, and probably never even come close!

Literally the best BBQ I've ever had. They pile it on too, if you order a pulled pork sandwich you can make 2 whole sandwiches out of the meat they give you, and it still spills over the side. They also have amazing Mac and cheese, and fried pickles. Always clean, always good service. This is really top tier BBQ.

The food is good but the first several times I went they were out of several items. I tried to come back earlier and some items weren't ready yet. I recommend trying all the meats and sides but call ahead if you are craving something specific.

This is a great BBQ takeout place. The food is awesome. I usually order the pulled pork, tater tots, and baked beans. I have ordered several other items, they were good, but I'm a pulled pork type of person. If you are looking for some food to take home or back to the office then this is a great option that will leave you satisfied.

Get there early or else it's slim pickings as the line apparently starts really early.

I love the environment and wanted to give 5 stars because it’s a local spot but being from Texas, the cabbage was too watery, the BBQ sauce was a little vinegary but the meat was all lean and tasty. Mac n cheese was good too. Had to add a little salt and pepper to both cabbage and Mac n cheese.

Awesome food, fast service, and nice staff

We got a family pack and the ribs, brisket, and pulled pork. It was good. We tried the mild and hot sauce and I didn't like either one and the pulled pork was shredded too finely for what we liked. It was kinda the same consistency of tuna fish but the taste was good. But the service was top notch. Couldn't ask for better service.

Brisket & pulled pork were SOOOO tender & flavorful! Sides were also delicious, in particular, the potato salad & green beans! Friendly, fast service for our party of five! 5 Stars! Don't pass this place up!!! 🐷
