*Updated Review* The owners response should tell you everything you need to know. Not just to my review but to others providing constructive criticism. Very much unprofessional and tacky. Removing 3 stars for that response alone. Congratulations. Ordered the cornbread bowl. Overall, I enjoyed it. My only complaint is about the portions and cost. The portions were extremely small due to the cornbread taking up most of the bowl. I would recommend cutting out the center of the cornbread, then filling the inside with the yams, macaroni, turkey, and greens. The $29 would be more justifiable in that situation. Paying $29 for a bowl of cornbread with a table spoon of everything else is not ok.

The customer service here is awful. To use the bathroom requires a code. The cashier gave me the wrong code and the other guy from the back says he does not know the code.they both had bad attitudes. I'm refuse to spend that type of money with all the hassle just to place an order. She said to call a number just to place an order and I'm standing in front of you. Please don't waste your time and spend your money where you are not appreciated.

I ordered the southern cornbread bowl (big back! big back! lol!) with pulled turkey & bbq sauce & it was deeeeelicious! Everything in that bowl - the collards, Mac n cheese, the turkey, & the cornbread were perfectly seasoned & enough food for 2 yummy meals. I’ve been wanting to try this place out for a minute & am so glad I did. In my experience the food scene in Atlanta is hit or miss but this place is definitely a hit!

Ordered online from Atlanta Turkey Legs and absolutely loved the food! We ordered two meals for $60, and it was enough to feed 6 people. The turkey legs were amazing, and while I expected more from the macaroni, everything else was great. Highly recommend for a delicious, filling meal at a reasonable price!

The food is delicious! You will not regret this choice! Pictures on website does not compare to having food in front of you! 😋

Wow! This was the best turkey legs we ever had 😋 I had the hot honey turkey leg with the Mac & cheese and my guy had the wet lemon pepper one. We didn’t even get to take a picture. We was so excited to try it & didn’t stop eating till it was gone. We’ll be back.

Y'ALL, THIS THE ONE. This food so damn good! I really hope this owner gets a building and are able to expand. The portion was heavy, well seasoned. Nothing was salty or too sweet. Black folk, y'all know we are picky about Mac n cheese but this was hitting too. I will be back today !

My food was amazing ! I would’ve loved more bbq sauce on my turkey leg rather than my mac but it was soooooooooo good !! Definitely worth the price !!!! I’m definitely ordering again !

My boyfriend sent me this restaurant a few months ago on Instagram. I waited until his birthday to order it for him. It’s pricey. The bowl was $30 but it includes plenty of food. It could feed two. The food itself was not good. The turkey was very dry and everything was overly seasoned except the yams. The baked beans were really spicy and had a strong taste of nutmeg. It was overpowering. The greens were super spicy as well and tasted acidic (vinegar). I can’t give a good rating to the Mac because my mouth was on fire from the beans and collard greens. My boyfriend wasn’t pleased either. So much for his birthday meal but I read the review on yelp and saw this criticism but it’s reviewed more heavily on Google without the same complaints.

BABYYYYYYY RUN DONT WALK! I had been wanting to try them out for awhile but kept saying “another time.” Last night I just had a craving and finally satisfied it. I got the southern cornbread bowl that comes with turkey, Mac and cheese, collard greens, and yams on top of cornbread. When I got in the car all I could smell was the greens. When I got home and opened the container up I was a little hesitant. But when I took that first bite… I IMMEDIATELY was ready to call everybody up and tell them how good it was. I almost ate the whole thing in one setting but I really didn’t want it to be over so I saved some for today. Yall have to check this place out like NOW! I don’t do reviews often but I had to do this one cause it was so good!

The service was good and on time, but I felt like the macaroni could have been way better . The beans were a bit too sweet, but the turkey was on point! The yams were really good too. I’d give it another try to try something different on the menu though for sure.

I ordered meals consisting of turkey leg and 2 sides. First the good: 1. There is comfortable seating inside to wait for pick-up orders 2. There are public restrooms 3. The regular BBQ flavored turkey leg was tender and tasty. 4. There are kiosk stations to order food within the establishment Now areas for improvement: 1. They charge for plastic ware. (I fortunately had extras in my vehicle) 2. Macaroni had too much black pepper for my liking. 3. The sweet potato yams weren't as tender as I like. 4. Side of cornbread missing from order. (Cornbread does NOT come with the meal. Have to pay separately for cornbread) 5. Food was not very hot to begin with, so to have to stop eating and go back in the establishment to get the missing cornbread made the food colder. (I ended up taking it home and warming it up) 6. The female passing out the orders instructed me to call a phone number when I brought it to her attention that the cornbread I paid for was missing instead of just handling the situation herself.

Amazing!!! This was beyond DELICIOUS!!! The service was delightful. The young lady that took my order, also brought my order to the car - she was personable, courteous, polite and just simply a delight. Thank you for doing this right. I Will Return and I Will Spread The Word and bring Friend

Great order take out concept the food was basic

I simply ordered a turkey leg since I was craving one and I’m so glad I came across the Forrest Eatery! This turkey leg was reasonably priced and absolutely delicious!

I can’t say enough about this restaurant and the amazing turkey legs that fall off the bone!! It makes my mouth water thinking about the food. Nick is awesome and a real genuine human being who happens to own a restaurant.

I tried the freaky fettuccine with shrimp and I must say I was a little disappointed. The turkey leg was a bit overpowering and didn’t really compliment the fettuccine. The flavor was there and portioned well but the price was a little much. However, I would support again because the customer service was excellent just not the freaky fettuccine.

As TheRealFoodStalker says "You gotta give these folks a try" Ordered the Big Back Bowl with BBQ Turkey leg and the Lemon Peppa Steppa Turkey Leg. It was extremely delicious and so tender. Loved the Mac n Cheese and candied yams. The cornbread and collards were hitting the spot too.

I'm going to give a reserved honest opinion on the food here, with the understanding that this food is made fresh daily, so some days may have gravy salt hands while others have heavy spice hands. Today was a ssssspicy day! I'm from the Caribbean and the spicy collard greens lived up to their name. It was so spicy, my taste buds were deadened and I couldn't really taste anything else. I got the saucy turkey meal with the 24k gold sauce on the side with yams, mac, and a side of collard greens. The turkey was spicy and slightly salty as well, but not nearly as spicy as the greens. That said, I didn't hate it. My next round might just be the pulled turkey, mac, and yams to save myself or the fettuccine if they are offering. My roommate got the big back bowl and she said the same thing about the spice, but the delicious cornbread helped. The cornbread was delicious and not spicy which was expected from something with jalapeno. Her only issue was she would have liked more turkey, but she enjoyed clearing her nose from the spice of the greens. The location wasn't terrible to find, the website gives great instructions so there were no issues there. I travelled about 30 minutes to get to this location after stalking the menu for over a week or so and have not been turned off. Overall, I definitely plan to go back to give it another try!

I ordered the cornbread bowl with turkey. Was totally excited about trying this place out! The only thing good was the greens! The Mac noodles were not done and the yams were hard with no flavor…such a disappointment….

I found this place while Uber eating, and when I tell you this is a hidden gem! You have to go online and look at their menu because I think they change it weekly. And you have to order online. You can't go into the restaurant (because it’s not a restaurant, it’s a kitchen) and then call them to bring your order outside! When I tell you, this food was excellent! And then I just needed to put it in the oven to heat it the next day!

Oh my Gosh WOW!!! You absolutely must try this place, I went with my friends and we will all be regulars from now on! Everything was cooked to perfection and the flavors were spot on!! Hats off to the cooks who made our night so special!!

The staff were nice. I was really looking forward to enjoying the Freaky Pasta and side of mac and cheese. However the pasta was Extremely salty and the Mac and Cheese had Alot of pepper. I do like pepper but others may not. I left my previous review and the owner has reached out. I will give them another try and update my review!

Okay, here me out. I didn't know what to expect here exactly, but you have to order and sit in your car or order online. This isn't a sit in restaurant, BUT once we got our food, it was soooo good! I got the Cornbread plate and added turkey. Yams were amazing, the jalapeño Cornbread was delicious, greens flavorful and turkey tender. The top it all with a sauce that tied everything together. 10/10 recommend It was enough for lunch and dinner!

This food is so good y’all. Black-owned, great service and you actually get enough food. I had the big back cornbread bowl with a side of sweet n spicy baked beans and I had enough to eat for 2 days……..so I came back a week later and got a Turkey leg and 2 sides(also amazing)🫣 I definitely recommend. My first time trying this spot. It was just "ok". The plain turkey leg was small, overcooked and not smoked as I expected. The collard greens were too spicy for my taste. I think the price is too high for what I ordered...(1 turkey leg (small) and 8 oz of collards total $25.20) Try it for yourself!

I’ve order food from here twice in one week. Turkey legs are TENDER, mac-n-cheese is amazing! (please don’t expect BAKED mac n’ cheese) Candied yams are SO GOOD! The baked beans are good and so are the greens but the mac and yams are the star side dishes here. I would recommend getting the cornbread bowl and adding turkey. It’s the best why to get a little bit of everything.

I gave A.T.L another try, I wasn’t a fan of the Bowl (i should’ve known I don’t like my food touching) but today I tried a turkey leg dinner W/side of lemon pepper, side of mac yams and greens and it was FIRE. Also my daughter got Cajun shrimp Alfredo ALSO FIRE! I think that was some of the best Alfredo I’ve got from a restaurant. 10000/10 the owner’s customer service is amazing! I will continue to support! Thanks y’all!

I stumbled upon this place via social media. I'm not from the area at all but recently moved up. Long story short, it was hard to find the location. They have a little sign up but if you've never been to the area, it's easy to miss. So just a tip: turn into the BurgKing parking lot. The line/row of businesses there, the one on the corner is where the location is. The food is good. No denying that. My issue is finding it to get the food. Now that I know where it is, I would go back. Friendly, helpful, incentive staff, and good food

Food was very good. I had the turkey leg smothered in Mac and cheese and my girl had the bb1 Turkey leg yesterday. Man all I can say was it’s fire, so damn good. Turkey legs were medium size (not the big sixflags like turkey legs) but seasoned very well. My only other complaints was the location was very confusing which I know they probably can’t help that at the moment. I circled the place for about 10 minutes until I realized it’s the last door on this plaza like building with a small sign of their establishment. My only other complaint is it was way to pricey. Yes the food was good but 40$ for two Turkey legs lol Jesus!! My pockets but anyways im still going back. Recommend. Nick had great customer service. Tip my boy
