New food service not as good as the old one, but it was alright.

The food used to be better before they changed vendors. Great service, awesome on the river, and loved the live music. Parking can be a bit tough but so far we have always been able to score a spot. Great local historic bar.

Bbq was delicious and decently priced! Must have the gator bites, amazingly tender!!! Owner himself cooked and ensured we'd had a good experience. The woman working the counter was extremely helpful and catered to our every need! Beer is inexpensive and the outside seating was really nice. Overall great experience and we'll definitely be back!!

I hate the fact that this bar is not close to my house. Great local spot. Excellent layout & venue. Go here have a beer. Have some Bar B Q while there.

A small great place to visit and be safe. They also serve zero alcohol beer.

The new place is supost to be a bbq place. They have a grill out there . But we have not seen it being used . I don't think it is being cooked there. They heated it up, and it was still cooled when we got ours.

So a great dive bar for drinks, but don't even waste your money on food here. Horrible wings, undercooked bland shrimp from a " food truck". Simply horrible. That said, the staff is GREAT. attentive bartenders and the staff in food truck were friendly. But the food is grotesque .

I stumbled on the best BBQ joint in Florida. The bbq is way better than anything I've had in Texas, the Bang Bang Shrimp is out if this world and the gator bites were fried to perfection. How has Guy Fieri and DDD not found this place.

Great BBQ. Beautiful views, dock, and overall amazing atmosphere. Place is a hidden gem on the Alafia river. Update, still an awesome spot with cold beer, great food, and awesome views.

Gotta love this place! A hidden gem dive bar located on the Alafia. Beer, wine and wine based liquor. All the ladies behind the bar are great. The view is amazing and the people watching is second to none!

Relaxed place to have some beers, right on the water. Serving Awesome food most days too(food closed Mondays). There is going to be a new food provider. They will be doing a soft opening May 19th. They are No Joke Smoke BBQ.

Nice littplace along the river. Friendly staff. They had karaoke going on a Friday night. They allow smoking inside, so it's not great for me but it wasn't bad at all really.

Great place for a stop with the bikes. Good burgers and bar food. No liquor! Staff and locals are very welcoming. Get some great bands in from time to time.

I regret to inform you that whomever is working here is stealing money. On March 2, my husband used a card, she said it was hard to read so we used a different card and left a tip in CASH. The transaction has an extra 36.68 dollars on a 10$ tab... 36$ tip? Sure it happens but not when the last 4 digits of your card ends with 3668.. very suspect that the bartender or owner is stealing small amounts of money from customers. I will be reporting this because this is March 21 and no resolution has been offered. He is always told they will him back. That really sucks since we loved coming here.

Best dive bar around. Great boiled peanuts. Went on a Monday and the kitchen was closed.

Been coming here awhile and today we had a roach in our food. Brought it to the owners attention and he didn’t care at all. Told me if I didn’t like it I could leave. Asked for refund and he refused even though the roach was presented to him in my food. Would not recommend unless you like eating roaches and horrible ownership. Stay away!

It's a charming little place with a great view and opportunities to feed the animals. You can also purchase animal feed on site and food next door. The customer service is exceptional.

Nice little spot away from everything. The regulars are “can be” friendly and remember who you are when you come back. Think of “Cheers” but on a more down home comfort food type vibe. Speaking of food there’s a spot right next to it. The ladies behind the bar are attentive and engaging…except for one, maybe two; perhaps because I’m a newbie. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Kaitlyn and Shayla were my personal favorites but they are no longer there. 🤫 They only serve beer and wine so if you’re looking for your favorite cocktails then you’re gonna have to find another spot. On certain days/nights they have live bands…Thursday's are music bingo. FYI don’t cheat by using your cell phone to Google the answers. 😉

One of the best dive bars in the area.

This location is extraordinary with its views. It's so laid-back with a live band, dancing , conversations indoors as well as outdoors. Parking is at a premium. It's well worth coming to enjoy a meal with your loved ones and or friends.

Hidden gem. If you want somewhere that is a unique dive bar, with live music, and cheap beer, this is the place to go.

If you enjoy the karaoke lady spit screaming a foot from your face you should check it out. She's scary. Fun dive bar on the river when the spit screaming karaoke woman isn't there.

Karaoke woman is awful. Outdated equipment. You can't hear yourself sing. She handed me a crusty old barely working microphone. So many better places for karaoke. Otherwise it's a low key dive bar on the river. I liked it. I grabbed a burger. It was good. I'll go back but definitely not when that karaoke lady is there.

Randomly stumbled upon this place and absolutely loved it! Chill atmosphere on the water, live music and ice cold beer. Didn't have anything to eat this time, but will definitely be back.

Website pet friendly ABSOLUTELY NOT. There last night with my dog the waitress brought water for her, back today was told no dogs allowed DON'T GO THERE., even showed Website. DON'T GO THERE!!!!

Hidden gem in Riverview. This is one of my favorite dive bars on the river. Coldest 🍺 in all of Riverview!

Kinda rustic but right in the river.

Great BBQ!! Ribs were tender and meaty. Pulled chicken was excellent. Beautiful view of the river off the deck. You order your food at the window, and they bring it out to you. Prices are great. A real hidden gem. Only ONE con, the flies....meh. They disappear shortly after you finish eating.

Always a nice place to visit and just watch the river roll by while you relax and have a refreshing beverage. The snack shack is a nice place to grab something to eat as well.

Great location!Bar service excellent! Restaurant service…. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! Arrived at 1 pm. Server stated she had to “unload the truck “ and would not be able to serve any food for 30-40 min ! Great spot, so figured, no big deal, we’ll just have a few beers. About 45 min minutes later, an obvious local, drove up in a golf cart.She walked out 4 containers of food to go! When we asked what was going on, she told us it would still be another 15 min ! After more than an hour, we finally left , without any food. We told bartender we will NEVER BE BACK!! She Didn’t really seem to care! I would not waste my time going here. There are several other nice places along the river!

What an interesting place. We went on a weekend afternoon to see a musician play and had a good time. The bartender was a little neglectful in serving men before women. The location on the river was nice for boaters to just pull up and hop off for drinks and/or BBQ from the on-site food vendor.

A friend brought me here around 15 years ago. It's such an out-of-the-way hole in the wall, but I loved it. Never could find it again...this morning, I ran across someone post on Facebook and I was so excited that it was "that place" that I thought about and couldn't find again for years. I told my husband that I wanted to ho there and he said, "OK. Let's go!". So, we called my sister and her hubby, grabbed my friend that is staying with us, and drove there. This place has not changed a bit! It is exactly as I remembered it! The food is great, The atmosphere is incredible (right on the water) and the people so down to earth. Definitely an "old" new fave spot!

Looks like it could be a nice location however me and my wife came to this location and soon as we got in there we were VERY UNCOMFORTABLE! Everybody looked and stared at us like we didn’t belong there. Only gave 2 stars b/c I love a lake view but I didn’t order any food or drinks , I was too uncomfortable from the stares and talking amongst themselves about us. We left and while leaving read a sign stating “RED NECK PARKING ONLY” it all made sense then!

This place is like a diamond in the rough. The live music is great but it’s a tight venue. The view of the Alafia River is very nice.

Love sitting on the beautiful riverside deck. Pulled pork sandwich was a huge delish lunch. Crispy corn fritters dipped in cinnamon for desert.
