[Edit to add: The following review is for the new Gibsonton Dr location, after posting, I noticed it was attached to the wrong location. Not sure how that happened when I selected the Gibsonton Dr location. I’ve never had issues with the Big Bend location.] Normally, I don’t get the chance to dine-in at a Starbucks, but being on maternity leave, I’ve been able to dine-in at two different locations this week. This location is a newer build, so I decided to check it out. I ordered some egg bites and the new Iced Apple Crisp Nondairy Cream Chai (delicious by the way). During my visit, I nursed my newborn son. I didn’t think anything of it as this is my 2nd child and in the last 3 years of my breastfeeding journey, I have NEVER had any issues with breastfeeding in public spaces. However, today, a Starbucks employee walked over to me and asked if I had a blanket to cover up what I was doing. I was taken aback as I already do cover my breast when nursing in public. I asked if anyone had complained and she said it was bothering the “partners” (later I found that’s what they call their employees). I told her no that I wouldn’t cover my son’s head/face and she repeated her question saying that they can’t have any skin showing. This comment didn’t make sense to me, and since I already cover my breast, I didn’t understand why I was being asked to cover up more; so to get her to leave me alone, I grabbed a burp rag and put it on top of my shirt covering my breast. I was embarrassed at the scene she was unnecessarily causing, so I appeased her, but this experience truly upset me. Being Florida, it’s hot and I was wearing a tank top. No one had any issues with my cleavage showing beforehand; it wasn’t until I was feeding my child that suddenly they took issue. As much as I like Starbucks, I’m extremely disappointed with this whole situation. Side note: As I mentioned in the beginning, I had the opportunity to dine-in at 2 locations this week, I nursed my son at the other location (Big Bend) as well and had no complaints or anyone asking me to cover up. If I can help it, I will likely not go to the Gibsonton Dr location again.

Usually stop at the Starbucks closer to my place, but this one is on the way to work too. I forgot how unpleasant the morning shift order taker and drive thru lady is. Went a second time this week and remembered why I won’t stop here again. They’re not personable people, and they certainly don’t belong in a Starbucks.

Can somebody please retrain the Starbucks so when I want to spend $8 for an overpriced coffee it tastes like an $8 overpriced coffee, I actually enjoy it. Now my only option is deleting the Starbucks off my phone just to never be tempted that I could possibly have a good latte in the morning. I promise you, I keep trying only to be so angry at myself for even trying again. How does an extra shot latte even taste like a watered-down version of coffee?!? Twice?! I've tried to order the same thing from them on multiple occasions and not once has it ever tasted the same. Do not go. It's a waste of money and expectation.

Sat there waiting for my second drink of my online order for 15 minutes while they served a multitude of customers that came and ordered after me. I had ordered 10 minutes before even arriving for the order and it had been estimated to be complete well before my arrival. This poor service and lack of consideration for my time caused to be late for work despite my extra time I had made to go. Very very disappointed and I will not return.

This Starbucks is absolute trash we had the old guy in the window and on my order I asked for extra caramel and extra crunch on my drink however they failed to get this right the first time so I asked again and my drink still didn’t have extra caramel and extra crunch. I went with my family and nobody’s drink was right the first time nor the second time they made it. And I will not even get started on the taste of the drink. I myself find that absolutely unacceptable and it is clear that this Starbucks has MUCH to work on. If you are gonna take a trip to this Starbucks just turn around and head to the one in Apollo beach the longer drive is completely worth it. I wish that I had anything good to say about this Starbucks but sadly I do not.

The outside of the store is clean of debris. Unfortunately the area is so compact, there is limited parking for the small plaza, line is always at least 10 minute wait when I go (which has been various parts of day). I started going to this location since a different location had the worst service and so far our drinks have been made well, food is usually made well except this past visit. Yesterday I ordered a bacon gouda sandwich but the bacon just looked awful and I got a two small thin pieces of bacon. My other sandwiches bacon was normal and good amount so I'm not sure what happened. The employees are friendly though and very polite. Overall I like this location better.

I was recently diagnosed with Type II diabetes so I’ve had to give up my favorite “Decaf Mocha Cappuccino.” But going to Starbucks is still a treat. I asked what they could do besides a decaf pour over. They suggested decaf shots and I could add cream to it. So that’s what I did and used Stevia to sweeten it. Great replacement.

I visited Starbucks on April 15 at 7:43 am and ordered a Caramel Ribbon Crunch drink through the drive-thru. My total came to $7.72, and I added a $1 tip for the service. I specifically asked for an extra caramel ribbon crunch in my drink. While the drink itself wasn't bad and I would rate it a solid 4 out of 5, let's be realistic - the caramel ribbon crunch isn't quite the same without those delicious caramel pieces. Unfortunately, my drink was missing those crucial caramel pieces. Despite this, I found the drink to still be enjoyable and presentable. Additionally, I would have gone back to address the issue, but I was already running late for my shift.

I think like most, I look forward to coming to any establishment in order to enjoy a treat for myself and my child. Firstly, the gentleman working the drive thru just blurts out “what can I get you?” In a very bothered tone….fine maybe he’s having a bad day. When I ask for an item and I clearly am not sure about what it’s called and you ask me what I’m talking about instead of guiding me on YOUR menu, very off putting. Secondly, the least you can do is make my order correctly if you’re going to keep hiking prices up. I got with a friend who is a Starbucks employee of 10+ years; I asked her what was up with my drink, she said it was clearly not shaken enough. It’s called a SHAKEN espresso…why am I chewing my coffee? My son’s hot chocolate tasted like hot water, no flavor whatsoever and he was so excited to have his treat. Both drinks went right in the trash and I have to say…I won’t be back to this location and I’m not even sure I want to bother with Starbucks anymore at all if I’m being honest. What a huge disappointment to something me and my son were really looking forward to. If you don’t like the service industry or serving people….just don’t then. Stop passing on your lack of quality service and bad attitude to the next person. It’s not right.

This location is a pretty busy location, typically more busy in the morning, during lunch, and after work. Despite their business they clearly work hard and try to deliver their best despite the wait times during those busy parts of the day. Especially if there is a deal or promotion going on in the Starbucks App, I would be prepared to wait 10s of minutes for your beverage to be made just because everyone is flocking to get their deals.

4 stars bc i usually have no issues and everyone is great. Today the older gentleman at the drive thru was wonderful but the lady who made my drink wrong wanted to charge me again for ye right drink and was very rude and gave me a god awful look at the drive thru window. The one that looks like a Hispanic shrek with the cream colored headband and red apron. That was so uncomfortable and uncalled for. When she “remade” my drink she just dumped it in a larger cup and added milk. I left thinking it would be fine but it was very milky. No color to it. I went back in to get a refund and order a different drink but the man didn’t charge me and was very kind about it. If I wanted bad drinks I’d just go to the dunkin by my house. Please coach this associate to not be so ugly to loyal SB customers ❤️

There are several locations near me and for whatever reason, each location is out of my wife's or my drink just about every time we try to order. It has become very frustrating. Oatmilk seems to be the common denominator. The stuff is good for literally weeks. If you're out every day, perhaps order more on your next truck. There is a new location opening near me soon, I applied for the gm position and was told they're going in a different direction. Well I hope they go in a direction that someone knows how to order, because the track record of the current management teams are a direct reflection of the hiring manager. Subpar at best.

Everything about this store is perfectly fine except their POS system. The orders that come through seem to prioritize drive-thru, in-store, and mobile order, in that order. Mobile orders will be finished 20 min - 1 hour after their promised date, as stated in the app (I've waited that patiently before). Once mobile orders are finished, baristas will shout out the name and put the drink on the counter. I've seen other stores alphabetize mobile orders. This store should do the same instead of get lost in the jigsaw puzzle of drinks. TL; DR Upgrade the POS system Start alphabetizing mobile orders

We all know that Starbucks is very hit or miss, but this Starbucks is completely broken. I really hope Starbucks corporate sees this, so they understand that new leadership needs to be put in place at this location ASAP. There is no one captaining the ship. There is no attempt at customer service, or customer satisfaction. It’s not worth me going into detail on the horrible experience I had there this morning, but my advice would be to go to Panera across the street for a coffee or the first watch around the corner… Anything but risk wasting your time, money and influence on this disrespectful and broken establishment.

Just wanted to review this location again since it’s been awhile. I routinely visit here for a cup of coffee and sometimes deserts as well. The quality of product and service are stellar. I think the drinks here are made with love....I've gotten the same drink at all the brandon/riverview locations but none ever compare to Big Bend! There's also an employee at this location, I'm not sure of his name but every time I've seen him he's had on a dark gray beanie, he has amazing recommendations and provides such friendly, genuine, and kind service! I go to this Starbucks just about every day. They use to do a great job months and months ago. Now you will be lucky if they make your drink right and to have someone pleasant. Ms. Annie is the sweetest lady and cares about her customers. She has been so good to us. However I'm tired of putting money into this place to not be satisfied. My drinks are wrong 90% of the time and the quality of it not so good. I'm officially done with this place. You wait close to 20 minutes or more just to get to the window to have your order wrong all the time.

I go here basically every morning before college classes, and at this point I think half the coworkers recognize me on sight. Even when they're absolutely slammed it takes no longer than 10 minutes to get my order when placed online (which is what I usually do). I had to change my name on the app to my sisters to prevent someone else from grabbing my food and drink but that's not the workers faults so still 5 stars :). I have celliac disease and asked for the use of clean tongs for the egg bites as its the only safe option and they agreed but then did not use clean tongs and I got very ill. Celliac disease causes permanent damage that can't be repaired and leads to needing to remove parts of your intestines or cancer. It isn't an allergy that will go away. I tried again and they told me yes again then when I asked if they are sure they said well we clean then occasionally and can't promise it. They also have sent me just unimaginably wrong drinks such as just water and sweetener whne I ordered a lemonade refresher

Great drinks, however there’s some days that the drinks are made differently, I guess whenever they have different employees and different shift. But in general good. My top favorite is White Mocha Frappuccino with Cold Foam and Extra Caramel Crunch topping. It’s delicious, if you haven’t tried it yet please do so. My wife’s favorite drink is Strawberry Frap, light on purée and double blended.

Tried a strawberry frappe with added strawberry inclusions and some added syrup after a recipe I saw on TikTok. It looked nothing alike, it looked melted and disgusting and like they didn’t try to properly make it. Frappuccinos are supposed to be a frozen blend and it wasn’t that.

I absolutely just lost $4 at the drive thru window when they insisted that I gave exact change (I didnt, because I deliberately gave them more so I could get the $1s I needed for my child's allowance). If I stuck around to argue about it I was gonna be made late to work, so I just took the loss, but I'm a kinda irritated that I was just told "no, you're wrong" instead of any kind of double checking.

The manager and associates sitting around him were very helpful to me in locating a seat and a plug to charge my device, even while conducting a meeting of some sort. Thanks for keeping a customer first focus even when it is disrupting your current task. They made me feel very welcomed!

I come here about 5 times a week with my wife. This is, by far, the friendliest staff of any starbucks I've been to. Everyone smiles, says hello to everyone and they engage with customers....."How are you today? ". Nice change of pace for Starbucks. Don't get judged by the staff. Anna, Ash, Jake, Mikka,Amaris, Richard (manager), Pete and the rest of the staff deserve recognition from Starbucks.

Probably one of the worst Starbucks I’ve been to. I go to this one constantly because it’s the only Starbucks in 30 minutes of my house. This is the 6th time I have order my grande iced CARAMEL latte with almond milk and have received a grande iced latte with almond milk without caramel. They don’t use the ordering screen so you cannot confirm they entered your order correctly. They can hear enough to get everything else in my order correct but can’t hear the flavoring? Would love to see this correct as it’s incredibly frustrating pulling away and taking a sip of trash coffee.
