I ordered pick up through ChowNow (per Google’s default) and waited 45 min only to find out that they never got my order. They told me that ChowNow orders don’t process through their system and that this issue has been going on for a while. Very poor management in my opinion. They need to cancel their partnership with ChowNow ASAP as I am sure I am not the only one that this has happened to. You will have more and more unhappy customers if you continue to accept but not actually receive ChowNow orders.

I was surprised there was not a restroom for dine in guests.

Food is good service terrible. This is 3rd time walk in order and 35min later asking for a refund. People ordering behind us where getting their food and we still awaiting. We ask three times where our order was. We were told it is coming 10 minutes more still waiting. Got my refund left will not recommend them to anyone.

The service was amazing the tacos were made so quickly and tasted so fresh and flavorful. Great atmosphere all around!

Just try it!! So good. If you're thinking of trying this place, just go. The tacos are amazing. Everything I've tried here has been great and I've been there around 40 times. It's our local taco go-to.

We just dropped in for a quick bite.The food was good,but it seemed like it took awhile for just 2 tacos and there wasn't a line.

Ordered a breakfast burrito this morning and was surprised with how big the burrito was! It was super fresh and delicious 🤤 I got the steak and egg burrito and added avocado! The red sauce was a good kick and spiced it up. This can be delivered via Postmates! Will definitely be trying the other items next time! It’s a bit pricey, but it’s huge so def can be shared between 2 people!

Excellent and delicious Mexican food. Lots of choices and all made fresh as you wait. Tables inside and out, nothing fancy but clean

I love this place they have great customer service in delicious food. I think that you guys all should come and enjoy this wonderful restaurant/food place , so bomb !! this place does take a little while to finish your food, but the 10ish minutes wait is so worth it!! there is parking on site though it gets hard to park on the weekends, but these are the best fish tacos around, fried or grilled, plus they pack chips and salsa with every order and there’s also plenty of salsa if you ask for more. the people working here are always friendly and attentive, even when there’s a line they get through it pretty fast. my favorite spot in town!!

moving to 2 stars because i just picked up food (soup and ground beef quesadilla) but they only gave me the soup. best breakfast burrito, chorizo and you can add avocado. orange salsa is delicious soup is copious if you are feeling under the weather and has no noodles in it, comes with rice

We ordered six surf and turf plates and one chicken quesadilla and the food was absolutely horrible, when I requested a credit the female manager lied to me and said the credit was issued. The beef had a lot of gristle in it not edible at all! I would not recommend this place and I’m in a position to do so working at Alamo rent a car LAX!!

I dont know if the owners have changed or what’s up but in the recent months service at Benny’s has declined significantly. I’ve received the wrong order and have missing items. It’s really frustrating because their prices have gone up while service has gone down 👎🏽

The Red ROTISSERIE Chicken Enchiladas are probably the BEST ENCHILADAS IN LOS ANGELES! I have been buying them for YEARS THEY ALMOST NEVER GET IT WRONG. When I buy these enchiladas I know EXACTLY what to expect that is TOP QUALITY SPARE NO EXPENSE ON QUALITY. EVERYTHINGIS FRESH…ONWARD, ADELANTE!!

SEASONED FRIES ARE NO MORE!!! beware Ordering the fries based on previous pictures. They now are these; tasteless garbage fries that have the flavor of a piece of 40 weight paper. They don't hold up to the standards of the rest of the menu. I was shocked to receive them on my delivery. Called in, and even the employees there told me they feel the same way. Not having it. BRING BACK THE SEASONED FRIES.

Used to be a regular spot for me when I get delivery (usually only 1-2x a month) so I have continued ordering from here bc it was consistently great. The last time I ordered it was honestly really sub par. I finally ordered again tonight ready to chalk it up to an off night and unfortunately this was just… honestly appalling. Giving 2 stars because you deserve 0 after tonight but you used to be great. And those 2 stars are only bc of that. Ordered: Whole Chicken: zero garlic sauce. It was so dry the meat is actually crumbly. Had I had a sauce to hide the burnt skin and chicken sand, I likely wouldn’t be so annoyed. Chips & Salsa: thankful that I ordered this after seeing what happened with the chicken - it got worse quickly. I ordered the mild salsa. I got a small container of salsa verde. And a small container of mild salsa. So I decide to have some and loaded up one of the week old chips that were broken into 1” pieces and suffer from an iodine deficiency into the red salsa and took a bite. OH. AMAZING. You didn’t send me mild. You sent me INSANELY HOT salsa. And guess what?! I broke out in hives and had to take emergency Benadryl. I - knowing I am allergic to your spicy salsa - have not - and would not - EVER - order it. If you have 2 salsas that your own staff can not differentiate from one another and one of them is extremely spicy?? You are truly obligated to not make this mistake. You sent me 2 of them btw. In 2 different sized containers. Churros: Annoyingly you now force people to buy 3 to get 3 free vs the buy 1 get 1 I always got before. Fine. Whatever. I bought 6 churros. And you sent me not a single one of them. Tortillas: Got taco sized which isn’t what you usually send. Half of them are still gonna need to be cooked. Half are cooked … enough. Not that I had anything to use them for. Rice & Beans: It wasn’t until tonight that I remembered what canned refried beans that sit in a cafeteria school chaffing dish for hours and hours smell and taste like. Come on you guys. You actually can’t be serious sending this out to customers??? Did yall get sold or something? New management? I truly doubt a single one of your employees would’ve eaten this meal even if it was given to them for free. It was actually that nasty. I hope you can get back to what was working for you because I can not justify another chance after whatever this was. Shameful. Spent $62 and I’m going to bed hungry. Not in this economy Benny. Not in this economy.

I used to stop here a lot, when I worked next to the golf course. Was glad to stop here again. Bad decision, ordered an al pastor burrito. Two people that came and ordered after me got there orders and left, some to go orders came out, the boss got his order to take home. I waited, they just ran out of al pastor, right! it will be fresh I told my self, nope an additional 5-10 minutes go by, I see a massive catering order coming out, I finally ask hey I'm just waiting for a burrito, they tell me its coming next. Next?! Its been 25 minutes, by my count. No thnx. Keep it.

Big fan, but annoying that the Fajita burrito with Barbacoa is a special order that can't be made through their online order and they have to "special" make it when in person or on the phone.

Horrible customer service, nasty food and took an hour to receive our food.

Mediocre food, surely wasn’t bad. But you can find mediocre Mexican on every other block in LA. Personally, I regret spending my money here! If you like being treated like an outsider by cashiers and servers alike then this is your spot, otherwise I’d just take my business elsewhere. Surely regret going, won’t be back soon.

I ordered a steak burrito with a little black beans. Dry and to many beans. The chips, guacamole and Verde sauce were good.

The service was professional and friendly. The food was great!

I’ve been going to benny’s for 6+ years. One of my favorite Mexican restaurants LA & the price is so worth it. I love the tacos & burritos there. Can’t wait to try all their dishes on the menu lol

Food used to be good , but NO BATHROOM for patrons!!! Sign says no public restroom, but we are paying customers, $40 for dinner for 2 and no bathroom, Ridiculous!!! As a woman I need to use the restroom for obvious reasons. We won’t be making that 30 min drive anymore, Many other establishments to choose from, it’s a shame a good place can leave such a bad taste. Lady worker told my husband in Spanish “no hay baños para clientes.”

Could have cooked the chicken better

Original burrito had no flavor at all the drink also fell short (horchata). I don’t mind paying top dollar for something that will make me keep coming back but this was not the case in my experience.

Save your money and time go el Tabasco on sepulveda and manchester Today - No Chips - No Salsa - No restroom for paying customers. Me and my associates we will never go to this location.

Haven't completed trying everything on the menu yet. However, everything I have tried so far has been great! You can't go wrong w/any of their tacos. The asada breakfast burrito by far my favorite!!!

This place was fantastic! The servers were friendly and there was no wait for some lunch. It was a little more expensive than we had hoped for, but the food itself was really tasty. The Burrito was a perfect blend of guacamole and some Carne Asada. The soup was also pretty large, and although had some random vegetables in it, tasted really good and was perfect for a colder day. We really enjoyed our meal here and would definitely come back!

Took 20 minutes to get two tacos, and they weren't very good. The table was sticky, and two flies buzzed around it. I asked for no hot sauce, but still got sauce but no dinnerware nor a napkin. But they were courteous and apologized for the wait.

Spot is smaller than expected but it was worth it. Food was cooked fresh to order and tasted great. Definitely a good local spot to visit instead of tourist chains.

No bathroom for delivery driver. What? I have picked up here 500 times and never asked until today. I was a frequent patron but not anymore. Food is pretty good but overpriced. The $20 breakfast burrito barely has any chorizo in it. It’s bland anyway. Tacos are good but go down manchester and you’ll find trucks with cheaper and better ones (NOT bad hombre)

It was my first time trying Benny's. I ordered a Chicken Tostada Bowl, and I must say that it is the best tasting and most delicious one ever. The chicken portions, rice, and vegetables were generous. I couldn't stop eating until I finished everything. Wow!

If your a delivery driver and just want to use the restroom, wash your hands and enjoy lunch.....DON'T bother! Asked to use the restroom and was told they don't have one which is a lie because I've been to that location and used the restroom before. Never again!

This place is absolutely terrible. I've eaten here 10 times over the past 10 years just because it's close and have always been disappointed. The food is either just barely okay or terrible. The grilled chicken tacos are perhaps the worst tacos I've ever had. The chicken is dry and flavorless.

Yummy but they used styrofoam and plastic bags for dine-in eaters. California has banned styrofoam and plastic bags. Not sure why we are still seeing single-use plastics. Please get rid of your styrofoam and plastic bags! Opt for paper food cartons instead!

Usually a 5 star experience. Las two visits order was incorrect, staff was oblivious & made many excuses as to why. My most recent order required 20 minute wait after email was received showing order ready order contained wrong item and was missing an item. Food was cold bland and beans were under cooked. Poor communication between manager, server, cashier. Total circus

Food was good. Bean and cheese burrito was smaller than I expected. I ordered my food dine in and was disappointed they gave me plastic cutlery & salsa in plastic containers without me asking for them. That may be a violation of City of Los Angeles Ordinance No. 187030.

Food is the best just need to teach the employes to not lie / tell the truth about a delayed order. they kept saying that my order was the next one to be ready but in reality they couldn’t even see the ticket in line. Waited for extra 30 minutes thinking that could actually be the next one.

The best Surf & turf Burrito I have had by far 🌯🙏. I didn't get pictures it went that fast. Everyone loved there food & left happily in a food coma 😂. The staff here are very humble & hospitable to our request for extra salas, drinks & extra utensils. Highly recommend, little pricey but worth the service. 👌

Burrito was cold and wasn’t filled enough. The burrito was flat bc of it’s lack of contents when I tried to eat it and I even paid extra for the carne asada which there was only a very small amount of. not worth the price and not flavorful, would not recommend

I can't believe I lived near Benny's tacos for so many years and never stepped in. We picked up a bunch of breakfast burritos recently for a party and they were awesome. They were received very well, lots of people commented on the ingredients in the spice. Excellent choice. I'd highly recommend it! If you don't want to take out, there are a few little tables around the restaurant, but it's really more of a pickup joint I think.

This was place gets slower and slower, and it’s not worth it. The food is good, but nothing special. The soup is probably what they do best. But there’s a certain amount of chaos and it’s become really slow. Sometimes they ask you to wait outside for your to go order (well, most of the time). The problem is that sometimes it’s cold outside, but also they set your food on a table inside and don’t always call out your name. So you can be waiting outside, as you were told, and not know that your food is sitting inside on a table. Pretty stupid.

I absolutely love this place. The food is always fresh and very tasty. I love the rotation of Aguas frescas! The only complaints I have are price and parking. The price is a bit steep for what it is, but I'm okay with it as I appreciate the quality. Secondly, the parking situation can be nightmarish if you go during busy hours.

This place got nothing on the venice location, and id even say chipotle. I got a veggie burrito with black beans, which i got atthe venice spot and i was amazed. Here, just flavorless. no seasoning on the grilled veggies and none on the beans. Also, there was no jack cheese in the burrito... im good on this place.

Throughout the years that I’ve dropped off my sister at LMU we’ve always come here for lunch and they never miss. Spend $17 and get a whole meal for like 4 people and the foods amazing! Horchata es muy delicioso también

3 years ago, I gave this place 5 stars. Tonight I picked up some food and I had to go back because the order was incomplete. This is the third time this happens to me when picking up food. They did apologize but it did not seem good enough for all my troubles. Unfortunatelly, we noticed the food was not as good. My fish burrito was defenitely not tasting as good. It had less fish in it and other new ingredients that gave it a bitter taste. My wife had her favorite, chicken enchiladas. She found a large piece of chichen skin inside the enchilada. She did not enjoy it as much. I hope they make some changes. It has been one of my favorite places for Mexican food. It is also only 10 minutes away from where I live.

They gave me someone else's food. Customer service: I ordered a taco plate. I got home, opened the bag, and found out they gave me a wrong bag! I went back to the restaurant, returned the bag, and asked for my food! They couldn't find my name in the system!!! I don't know what's going on there, but they used to have a better system or manager. Anyway, after looking for my name for 5 minutes with no luck, they started checking all other ready orders. They found my food with my name on it!!! Food: Since my food had been sitting there for 30 minutes, it was cold, and the tortilla was soggy. Make the story short, it was not a good experience.
