This place is in the hood but that’s when you know it’s good lol. This fish and shrimp lunch plate was delicious!! I will definitely return

The jumbo shrimp is delicious and the catfish, filet of sole, fried oysters. Everything is delicious 😋🤤 😋 🤤😋😋 😋😋😋

Not the same place, mean spirited ppl.. the Latino guy behind the counter got petty with us over a trivial question in regard to using their credit card machine.. after being there 20. mins we opted for the refund..the service was horrible ( 3/24 at 2:15 pm) don’t go there.

The food was mid at best. My fish didn't really have much flavor. And the guy at the window was a little rude and impatient. Maybe he's used to regular customers who already know what they want. I felt rushed and dismissed when I asked questions about the side dishes. It was a Friday at the lunch hour, so they did become quite busy after a while, so someone loves the food. I just did not.

A 20-minute wait for the best fried fish and oyster meal ever for a quick minute. Just writing this is making me hungry again.

The best deep fried fish and Oysters. The secret is their batter. I go to a lot places and they got it right

I went in close to closing time. Therefore, the food was not as good as it usually is. The friendly service was still awesome. They were just anxious to go home.

I live in Hollywood we don't have old school fish fries like this and hush puppies. Taste great and worth the little drive.

That was my first time going there I taste the fish is not good for me but the people the guys who work there are so wonderful so nice so polite then again I don't eat red but if you look at the fish in the front it's terrible looking it doesn't look fresh

The food is hot and ready fast and taste sooo good, they accept EBT. They change their oil in the morning before opening at 11. Only thing is the man in the front isn't always so nice so have patience because it's worth it..

Best place for perfectly fried fish, shrimp, wings. If you like catfish nuggets like I do "Not Fried Hard or Crunchy"..try Fish Town...you will not be disappointed.

I prefer King Fish on Crenshaw and 109th but this place is good. Just need a Lil Mo' seasoning in that batter. Lol

You know I went to fishtown in the '80s and the fish was good and then they made Crenshaw fish on Crenshaw and Jefferson and I got hooked on that and I started going there forgetting about fishtown but after yesterday's visit I got an oyster dinner I will be going to fishtown from now on the fishtown food is excellent the seasoning it's coming to you was perfect the way they fried it was perfect everything was just perfect you get fish a salad a roll and a side you can't beat that for $13.50 and I will be going back cuz I loved it

Red snapper dinners are great. Not so much for the purest who prefer corn meal as opposed to breading as a coating but very good non the less. Good amount of food for the price as well.

I've been going here for at least over 10 years. I love the way they fry!!! It's so good to me. I never had a bad experience besides random people doing dumb things but that's almost everywhere now days. Their prices are reasonable, parking is a headache but other than that... the food is great!

Fried items were definitely made FRESH. The salad was probably the best I've ever gotten from a chicken shack. For the price, you can't beat it. I'm a seafood lover, and this place has definitely earned a spot on my "good eats" map 💗
