This place is great! Food is delicious and staff member are friendly. My husband and I enjoyed everything! My only complaint is I couldn’t take home a large cup of potato salad ( haha jk )

Stopped in to this hidden gem for some lunch and was not disappointed. We had the burger & chicken tender sandwich, onion rings, potato salad and fries. Shoutout to the amazing chef 😊 Everything was delicious, hot and the servings were just perfect. What made this an even better experience was Hannah & Shayla, they were such a joy to talk to and they definitely made our dining experience unforgettable. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a friendly food environment with great food.

Ordered the big tasty burger and I've got to say it was pretty darn good, girlfriend ordered The big tasty sandwich which is a southern twist blt..... came with toast that was black and severely burnt, I don't mind waiting 90 seconds for anyone to remake toast but to say screw it and serve that to you customer says something about that place, I guess we're just suppose to eat it and smile

Like stepping back into the 50s... I saw that classic grill and had to order a Patty melt. It was as delicious as I expected served along side a nice fresh and crisp homemade cole slaw

Wonderful food! Their Brahman Burger is SO GOOD! They accommodated my 2 YO's food request, too. Also, Their PB milkshake is amazing. A must visit!

Cute little diner. My sister and I stopped in based off of high praise, she had the cheeseburger which she said was very good. They were very accommodating when I asked about what they had for vegetarian options I wish it was closer or I would stop by more often.

Great Food and experience. As a burger place, we did not try their burgers… but! My husband had their grilled chicken sandwich, myself, the chicken tender sandwich, and my daughter had their chicken nuggets. Great portion size and absolutely delicious! Fries are yumm!! Waitress was a little overwhelmed and she took care of us smoothly and with a smile! Definitely will visit again!

Saw the sign from the road and thought we’d stop in for a late lunch. Glad we did! The burgers are fresh and hand formed, fries and onion rings were very good too. Best chili dog o ever had. I’m picky and from Chicago so that says a lot!😄

Cute old fashioned soda fountain decor. Good food but a little small serving on Philly chicken sub, but excellent sandwich. Awesome onion rings. FANTASTIC fried green tomatoe BLT ! Can't wait to try fresh made chocolate peanut butter shake. Oh my * That is the best milkshake I've had in a long time. Everything is fresh made, so not a quick in and out but worth the wait.

Super cute place and I just love the name. The food is excellent. I took it to go so my bread got a bit soft but that is to be expected. I have had the blt with green tomato and the bacon cheeseburger and both are delicious!! The fries are crinkle cut so if that ain't your thing like me, the onion rings are excellent!!! Staff is super nice and whole place is really clean. Cooks on point!!!!

This place was a really good choice for lunch. Staff was as good as the food. Very nostalgic atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

50s style burger restaurant with friendly staff

This was our first time here and it was very enjoyable. I had a grilled chicken sandwich and cheese fries (cooked perfectly). The husband had a cheese burger and fries ( cooked medium just like he asked) and the little guy had a hot dog kids meal and asked for one chicken nugget so the waitress brought him 1 chicken nugget. She followed our orders to the T. We did get him the whole order by the way. We were there close to closing but they did not rush us at all and were very friendly. We will be back soon.

Big Tasty's is such a cool place! The 50's atmosphere is over the top. The bacon cheeseburger was the BEST burger I have had in decades. The staff was wonderful. I will definitely be visiting this diner whenever I am in the area!

Stopped in and had one of the best burgers during our entire trip to Florida. Side of onion rings and cole slaw was really good too. Waitress was very personable and attentive. Love the 50's decor....will definitely be back when we are in Okeechobee.

Great food in quaint atmosphere!

I am in the area for a few months and googled BEST HAMBURGER NEAR ME. Google sent me to Big Tasty’s. I loved it the minute I walked in. It’s got that vintage vibe, not contrived, but the Real McCoy. It was clean, and seemed to be frequented by locals, mostly. I was greeted as soon as I came through the door by a cheerful young woman who, I learned later, runs the place with her sister. It was their parent’s. I received timely and respectful service and I enjoyed listening to the playful banter among customers and the sisters. My hamburger was obviously hand made, served with my favorite crinkly fries. It was perfect. Next time I drive into town I should try another place, but I loved this one so much I may just keep going back there every time. (The only negative thing I will add is, be cautious with the salt and pepper shakers. The holes are much too big and you’ll have a mountain of salt with just one shake. Luckily, I tested first and saved my delicious meal.) See you in a couple weeks!
