I recently visited Nutmeg Café, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best places I’ve been to in a long time. They have a wide variety of delicious food options, catering to every taste. The people who work there are amazing, making you feel like part of the family from the moment you walk in. The café's decor is charmingly eclectic, with mismatched furniture and unique thrift store finds that create an inviting, cozy atmosphere. The vibe here is just incredible—it’s the kind of place where you feel right at home. I decided to try the keto bowl, which isn't something I'd normally go for since I’m not typically into keto dishes. However, I was pleasantly surprised! It was incredibly fresh and flavorful, a perfect choice for something light and refreshing. Overall, everything at Nutmeg Café was spot-on. From the friendly staff to the delicious food and cozy decor, this place is a must-visit. I can't wait to come back!

Great place to go for lunch, all around! They even cook hot family meals you can pre-order for pick up the following day. I'd highly recommend Nutmegs.

Chocolate Croissant was warmend in a way that it didn't looks or tasted good. It was a weird texture. It tasted ok. Cappuccino was good 🌟 Very cozy environment!

Had been wanting to try Nutmegs for quite awhile. A good friend of mine wanted to meet for lunch and mentioned Nutmegs. It was well worth the wait. It was everything I hoped it would be and more.

This was our first time eating here. The cafe is absolutely adorable and the ladies working were super friendly. The food was very good and fresh. We were served in a very timely manner. There is a little corner of the place with refurbished furniture for sale. Every item was beautifully done. I would definitely recommend trying this place.

First time here and I was so impressed. Every ingredient was SO fresh. Big portions also. I never leave reviews but this was worth it.

Interesting experience the foodcwas really good they had good portions. The food is delicious, but one big negative from coming here is the fact that that whole place needs to be cleaned. Dirty inside the building and dirty bathrooms. I don't want to see what their kitchen looks like. They could get some nice tables and chairs and also keep the style but get new furniture and do a light remodel. Also lower the prices for food by a little. The keto bowl is not what they said it was going to be little salad and all toppings. It was basically a large salad that you get to pay 16 dollars for. Put some meat on it!

Chicken pot pie and the pulled pork sandwich is the best!!!!!!

We stopped here on our way through town for lunch and are so glad we did ! The food was AMAZING. It’s an hour from home and I would consider driving here again because it was that good!

Nutmegs catered the baby shower that I hosted and the food was a huge hit. Everyone raved about the food being amazing. They were accommodating to our time frame and flexible with portions. Everything was also fairly priced. I can’t say enough about Nutmegs!

Great place to catch up with my friend. She came from Sebring and I came from WPB. We have a new meeting place. The food was great, friendly service and we sat at the perfect table in the window. Looking forward to going back soon.

Host was friendly but holy moly that food was atrocious. Ordered avocado toast…to be “safe”. WHEW. First of all they told me they were “out of fried eggs but had scrambled”….. HOW? my toast came with avocado and an egg on top and it was freezing cold…. YUCK. And secondly my bread was the smallest, saddest piece of bread that was panini pressed NOT toasted? What the…

Good sandwiches and panini, easy stop going through Florida, nothing fancy, nothing lame, just some easy food for the trip. Cake was a bit sweet, sandwiches were very juicy.

Stopped for a quick lunch. Excellent turkey panini sandwich. Ordered the beet salad side- it was ok- not like anything I had ever had before. Pickles, picked beets, egg, and maybe potatoes. It was a little unidentifiable. Tasted ok. Atmosphere was cute, shabby, chic...unclear when you walk in if you grab a table or wait. Turns out, you order at the counter. Drink dispenser was unexpected.

We tried it today for he first time and it was amazing! The atmosphere was cozy and family friendly. The food was AMAZING! The stuffed french toast was out of this world! Our4 year old loved the grilled cheese and chips and he is a super picky eater. The ham and cheese on a croissant was and the chicken salad on a croissant were also very good. This is our new favorite spot!

Took awhile after ordering to get food. The prices were a bit on the high side for a sandwich. Will give it another try.

First time there this morning, the bacon breakfast burrito is great as is the cheddar and broccoli quiche my associate ordered. Customer service was excellent, and very reasonable prices.

A great little diamond in the rough. Eclectic is the first word that comes to mind when I go into this place the only difference of any food that I’ve had in the restaurant it’s not the quality of the food, but the quantity of the same thing that I had the last time, apparently it is whoever is preparing the food that day. Decision on how much goes into a Panini. Great selection, interesting soups, wonderful specials and I never had a cake ball that I didn’t like.

The avocado bowl was very good, we also enjoyed a warm guava pastry and fresh hot coffee.

Nutmegs is a fantastic place for the best sandwiches, wraps, salads soups and yummy sweets. The place is always busy at lunch so call ahead or wait a bit. You won't be disappointed choosing Nutmegs.

We were passing through - in a sea of fast food chains we found this little gem- great food; great pateries, excellent espresso; decor was super creative

So I was standing outside finishing up a call and I came to the door to open it instead of the person opening the door and saying they were closed she locked the door right in front of my face. There was no sign saying they close early or anything. I thought that was so rude so I called and asked are they open the girl informed they closed early. I have brought food from this establishment before and tipped. The cupcakes are expensive. I will never buy from this place again. Highly disappointed. If you haven’t tried Crumbl cookie or insomnia cookie those places are a must try with better service to everyone.

for one the cilantro vinaigrette dressing is amazing. iv been ordering lunch a few times the salads and smoothies are my fav. Today I ordered a 1/2 Italian and potato salad and that was the best sandwich I've had yet. it was so yummy!

Ok so I myself have never been to this restaurant but I'm already sold on how the owner Megan deals with these people with negative reviews. Especially the ones who have been to the restaurant one time and because the cashier didn't smile the day you came your not ever going back. Lmao or no this one was great ratshit. Omg megan I love how you put these people in their place I went and read every review on the page. I just love you already and I don't even know u but I already love your personality. Good job kudos! Will be coming to visit asap and really would love to meet you

Nutmegs Cafe is a local favorite of mine personally. The environment is warm and welcoming just like the staff. The food is wholesome and fulfilling to the last bite.

Nutmegs Cafe is a really good healthy option specially for vegetarian. The wraps are quite good and the Scones are nice.

If you haven't had the pleasure of eating at Nutmegs Çafe , you are missing out on a treasure of a place ❣️. This is my third visit to Okeechobee and my third visit to Nutmegs! My grandniece and I totally enjoyed our sandwiches (tuna melt and the famous bacon and peanut butter). We finished off our lunch with very tasty cupcakes (chocolate and red velvet). We will make Nutmegs Çafe a stop for their awesome food! Side note, very friendly and hardworking staff! Very neat and clean, bathroom included! Make it a point to stop in!o Nutmegs!❣️❣️

Awesome food, usually the girls behind the counter are super helpful and friendly, you get one who maybe a little crabby once in a blue moon, but all in ask a really awesome place to get lunch

I have never been, I showed up 15mn before close and the lady asked if I had a takeout order I said no and she looked at me hesitantly. So I asked can I order something? She responded I'm sorry we close at 6. I didn't tell her what I was going to order so I understand if it was a order that was going to take a while to make. However I didn't have the opportunity. I hope the owner of the company didn't want anymore money for the day because I was turned away.

Stopped by a couple of times on our way from West Palm Beach to the FL West Coast. The food is amazing, nicely presented and the staff is really friendly.

Quaint & practical cafe with homestyle service (read friendly, professional, homey) Food was tasty & fresh. I had the tuna salad croissant and my friend had the 15 Bean soup which he said was excellent.

We always use Nutmegs when at Sebring. It’s rare that our crew of 40+ can all agree on food and we get rave reviews from everyone. Megan and her team are amazing to work with. We had 2 (1/2) panini sandwiches based on other reviews. The reviews were not wrong as they were very good. My wife had the Mouse Trap which was mainly cheese similar to pimento cheese and I had the Hog Trap which included ham and salami. Both were very good! The potato salad was mustard based and tasted good.

Wonderful service, very friendly. Food was excellent!! Hope I can visit again, will recommend to friends.

I had lunch takeout from there today. I had a BLT on a crossiant with mayo and avocado. Not bad, but expected it to have been more flavorful. Prices were a little steep, but that's not saying much these days. Everything's pricey. I may go back again to see what else they have because it wasn't bad, it was just ok.

I've only been twice both times for coffee on a Sunday afternoon. Once I took home some really good chicken lemon soup. Coffee had been good both times. Definitely looking forward to trying more, lots more.

Sadly disappointed. The sandwich ordered only came in the whole size for $11. When home to eat it wasn't the sandwich that was ordered nor was it a whole. Upon returning and showing pic of wrong sandwich was told that was also an 11 dollar sandwich. It was a good sandwich just expect an order to be correct or make it right. Tried it ....won't be going back.

The food was delicious.Yet, I didn't like the service. My niece and I ordered Sandwiches with a side. Yet,her side salad came out but my side dish didn't come.When my food came out it was lacking two items. No one came to ask if everything was ok with our meal.I walked back up to the counter and asked for my two items the cashier said twice I needed to bring my food back up to the counter and I insisted to the waitress that she give me the items that I was charged for!!!! Unfortunately. They were busy so I stood there for several minutes. It took a while my food was getting cold. Finally I just asked for a tray to go and a bag. I warmed my food and ate it later that night. It was very delicious

So I don’t like to post reviews on small businesses but I have to be honest as well. However, I was very unimpressed and disappointed in the Quiche and salad that I ordered. The Quiche was so tiny and I literally had three small bites and the side salad that I thought came with the meal along with a drink but with the price being so ridiculously expensive I am guessing everything was separate. The menu on the wall stated it was like 8.99 but I spend $18 on lunch and when I left there I felt like I was still starving. So I ended up stopping someplace else afterwards. I really hope they take some time to make sure prices and amount that they give people equal out to worth the stop and wait. That ruined it for me.

Service can be slow but the food is great.

It took roughly a half an hour to get a panini and salad with no explanation or apology, and it wasn't even busy. Kitchen staff was two teenage girls that were gossiping about nonsense rather than putting together a sandwich that a 10 year old could make in a minute. Would never go back.
