Flavor was ok but every single meat was completely dried out. I ordered the chicken, pulled pork and ribs and they were extremely dry. Could be really good if they didn’t overcook everything.

We went there yesterday, we tried a little of everything. The place was packed . They did a great job in moving the line . The staff was friendly and efficient. I got the he ribs , Mac and cheese and Cole slaw . All three were delicious. We live down in canton and have tried multiple bbq locations here. None of those locations compare to Bigun’s. We will be driving the extra 10 miles for our bbq cravings in the future .

Best onion rings with dipping sauce. So many different bottles of bbq sauce on the table.French fries. Oh my. Oh and the BBQ pork. That is my favorite place to eat bbq because, I am so picky about Bbq meat. It's just lean meat. Don't forget dessert. Look at that flaky crust. Good thing I don't live in Jasper. I could eat there every day.

It's always good.. a little too much smoke flavor for me, but it's still good. 😁 and always busy when we go.

Excellent BBQ and sides. The brisket was tender, moist, and flavorful. The staff were personable and very helpful.

They have a very good brisket and their pulled pork is delicious as well. Sides are good. The service is excellent, very friendly and efficient.

This place is AH-MAZING!! Delightful service, great food... great place to visit! Next time I'm in GA I'll be sure to swing by again!

The barbecue is just average, and two lunch plates cost $37. So, it's not worth it to me. I'm a Georgia boy, and I know how good barbecue should taste. Therefore, it's hard to impress me since I smoke my own barbecue, too. I advise to look elsewhere.

Well let's just sat OMG. The food is great. The atmosphere and employees are great. You can eat outside in covered area which is nice and they bring your food to you. The #1 item in my book is the FRIED APPLE PIE they cook it as you order it there's no letting it just sit there in a box it is absolutely amazing and BAD addictive. I guess the worst part is I live in Hiram and their in Ellijay.

I've had a lot of BBQ in my life. And this one was average. I've had worse and I've had better. I got the 2 meat platter. 2 ribs or so (they snuck me in a third by accident). Ribs were tender and fell off the bone. I like to judge ribs without sauce. These didn't have much flavor. I also had the pork sausage although I rarely get sausage. And actually really liked them. A sweetish flavor on the skin. The sides I had were fries which were good and baked beans that were good. Again not the best but good. It comes with a bread and I got a cornbread. To me there 2 types of cornbread. Sweet and a crumbly type. These are crumbly and good. 6 sauces at the tables. I liked the Carolina mustard the best. I can't do spicy or hot. The others had a little smokiness flavor. The staff was great. Everyone was super friendly. I wish every restaurant had this staff. Plenty of seating. Plenty of parking. Outdoor seating was plentiful. Overall if Biguns was close to me it might be in my rotation for BBQ. But I base my score usually on ribs when I'm at BBQ. And theirs were not bad. Not great but not bad. That said I don't want to discourage people from trying Biguns. I am a harsh critic.

If you show up when there’s a line, DONT LEAVE. They are very fast and the food is well worth it!

Never been here till yesterday. Didn't know what to expect. Prices are great for what you get. Food was hot and super fast. Just wish they had Hotter sauce for the pork.

Staff is always friendly and the barbeque is the best around. They also sell pork ryans. Variety of options to choose. There is also outside and inside eating options.

Ribs were fair, cooked well, just not my favorite flavor. Too smoky. Brisket was good but a little dry. The Mac and cheese...I make better. The unsweet tea was excellent. Saw the big building on my way to play golf and stopped on our way home. Should of tried the Pink Pig BBQ.

This BBQ was some of the best I have had in this area. People are very attentive and personable. Great job. I will definitely come back.

Best BBQ I’ve had in a long time and the staff were friendly . Even the side dishes were all very good. The real test is the tea and yep it was good!

Excellent BBQ, friendly service, nice atmosphere. And lots of great sauces you can purchase bottled to take home. My husband's favorite is the Sho' Nuff sauce. Super spicy and tasty!

Great management and great employees my truck was over heating and they gave me full access to there water hose and they even came out to check on me and ask if I needed anything out big shout out to I think her name was Alexis who came out and made sure I was all good thank you!!!!

Stopped by for some lunch. HUGE parking lot that was full and was concerned about the wait. But WOW!!!! This place had it going on. They got us in quick, sat us down, and in no time flat, our food was sitting in front of us. Staff was great, and the food was AMAZING! I will definitely be going back real soon. Plenty of sauce flavors to choose from. Highly recommended by me !!!!

Bigun’s is always a joy to go to, food is always amazing, give fair portions and their Brunswick stew is to die for!! Only bad thing I have to say and it’s really not the restaurant itself but is one girl behind the counter taking orders was very off putting and what i was assuming having a bad and showed it pretty bad.

Nice building, great people, welcome sight for sore eyes fighting our way out of Atlanta. Loved the drive up / walk up window.

I got the ribs & thought they were a little dry. Cornbread needs to be changed. Need a sweet cornbread. Other than that alright. Coleslaw & Macaroni was good.

Good food and the location even has a drive thru window or curbside pickup or indoor or outdoor seating very nice property off the side of the highway. The big brisket is included in the pic, it is excellent flavor and and lean cuts. and the pulled pork and baked beans and slaw are always good choice. The food seems to be consistently good quality ive been there around 5 times in the past 3weeks. The staff is younger for most part, I highly recommend this location for some high quality BBQ and desserts. 👌

We enjoyed our first visit to this restaurant while we were traveling through. We will definitely be back! We love the way everything is set up and your food comes out so fast! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered one pork and one chopped chicken plate and a small redneck lasagna which was absolutely delicious! Loved sampling all the different sauces, which were right there on our table. Wonderful place for great barbeque!

We’ve been going to Biguns for years now. It just seems to get better every visit. We’re not local but we do like to plan our visits to the area to be in proximity to this establishment. Most recent visit I ordered the brisket and pulled pork with the sweet sauce. PERFECTION! All the sides were really good including the buttery mac and cheese, potato salad, fried okra and baked beans. We’ll be back!

This is my first visit to this huge barbecue restaurant. There is plenty of seeting. We were in a line to place our order, and in a few minutes, our order was delivered.

The absolute best barbeque! So many things we loved including the Ribs, Pulled Pork, Brisket, Redneck Lasagna (omg yum), Macaroni & Cheese, Sweet Tea and Pecan Pie, all so delicious! We'll be back again and again.

Looking for BarBQ in the Ellijay area, we found this place online and decided to give it a try. Everything was delicious, the service was prompt and friendly and the outdoor seating was fine for our little dog.

Best barbecue ever! Pulled pork was melt-in-your-mouth tender and there were six different sauce choices. Tried four side dishes: Brunswick stew, baked beans, potato salad and slaw. All were prepared to perfection. I won’t order the banana pudding again however. It wasn’t the true, old-fashion southern banana pudding.

Super easy place to grab a bite when you’re on the road. You can do drive thru, typical sit down, or order from the walk up counter and sit outside. It was pretty busy when we were there but our food came out in less than 10 minutes. Plenty of parking and friendly service.

We regularly visit barbecue joints and this one is outstanding! You definitely won't be sorry if you stop here to eat. Everything is as I rated five stars. Totally affordable and great homemade barbecue and sides! 😋😁

Today was such a beautiful day. Went to Biguns BBQ with The Freebirds group. We had a blast sitting at the covered outside area. Breezy weather. And the food was so good. Reminded us of our grandmother's cooking. Black eyed peas, mashed taters and BBQ. And the sweet tea!! Great food at great price!!!

Solid ribs and brisket. Fries and onion rings were pretty good as well. I personally would opt for the Mac n cheese over the redneck lasagna if I return.

BBQ places are hard to rank as they are subjective to personal flavor preferences. I will say overall good food for the price. I would eat here again. Nice patio on the side for outdoor dining.

Can you say "overrated"? I was really looking forward to eating here. I heard great things about this place, but was extremely disappointed. The meat has no flavor, the sauces are very dull, and I've had better side-dishes our of a can. I tried the ribs, chicken breast, and smoked sausage. My sides were baked beans, collard greens, and mac-n-cheese. A frozen dinner would've been just as good, and much cheaper.

BBQ not that good and basic service was ok the older Boss lady has bad attitude dislikes truckers not trucker friendly definitely go down the Rd for better food and a better attitude.

Excellent BBQ, lots to chose from on the menu. The sweet tea is really good southern style sweet tea. The fried apple pie, oh lord yes defiantly recommend. To me and my family its well worth the drive to have some good BBQ. Matter of fact I think I'll take the family tonight to have some BBQ and grab another fried apple pie. Look out now.

Food was good. Finely chopped coleslaw, seasoned green beans, perfectly done Texas Toast and very good Turkey. BBQ sauce was good too.

So good. My husband and I split a 3 meat platter and still took food out the door. The okra was nicely salted and had flavor, their original BBQ sweet sauce was delicious 😋. I highly recommend stopping here.

Came from out of town and expected a lot more. Service wasn’t bad, just seemed like they were rationing sides and brisket and ribs. Ribs had little to no meat on them and we received one small little country fried steak for dinner.

Great food with good sized portions. Really enjoyed it and will definitely stop back on our next trip up.

This used to be my go-to place for BBQ. I would drive all the way from Marietta to eat there. They had the best BBQ that I had found in Georgia and their fried okra was fantastic. Unfortunately today was not the case. The BBQ was dry and chewy and the fried okra was over cooked. After complaining, the manager came out and basically gave a B.S. reason. Last trip for me, not worth the drive for so-so food. Especially since I can get better food locally without having to drive so far.

The food was wonderful. They had selections for everyone, including gluten-free options. My children are very picky eaters, and we even found some thing for them to eat. Service was fast and efficient. I would highly recommend.

Inconsistent. The thing with bbq joints is that nothing is made to order. It’s all premade, so it can be hit or miss depending on how fresh it is. It’s 5 stars one day and 2 the next.

The food is lack luster, my ribs looked like porky pig got in a fight and the brisket looked more like pot roast. On top of that the taste of Dirty smoke gave the meat an off flavor. That being said the the star of the show is the okra it’s dark golden and delicious.

Best place to eat for a family owned business! Apple pie is way better than anything you'll get at an orchard, everything is awesome. Mashed taters and brown gravy, fried okra, brisket or sandwich (with cheddar sauce), gotta always have the redneck lasagna, of course bbq, country fried steak. Man now my mouth is watering lol. So glad we live close, Yall give em a try! #Jesuslovesyall

Best BBQ in GA! After much word-of-mouth, I finally visited Bigun's. The food was outstanding. There was a line even in the late lunch hour, but the staff were impressively efficient. The Brunswick stew is the best I've ever tasted! Unfortunately, they were out of turkey that day, though. The bathrooms and outdoor tables were clean - and for a BBQ place, that's not an easy feat. Plenty of parking (used to the city life)! I appreciated the "Thank Que" puns. With their quality and success, I'm surprised they haven't opened a second location, though the drive is worth it. All in all, Bigun's makes for an enjoyable stop to or from north GA. I'll be coming back for that turkey.

I love BBQ in general. That being said, this was easily one of the best BBQ places I've eaten. Sausage was great. Turkey was tender and juicy. Pork was exactly as it should be. Ribs were fantastic. Great rub. Sauces were exceptional

A family favorite for many years!

Very nice staff and the food was excellent the only complaint is more space I wore kn95 mask the people were lining up out the door as good as the place is they need more dining room space.

Stopped in a picked up a pork plate & brisket plate after a hike. Problem was we ended up with 2 brisket plates. Brisket was decent. Sides were excellent- slaw, stew, mac & cheese, & fries.
