The ultimate stop for road trips. I always pick up some cracklins and a couple boudin balls. Everything is fresh and delicious. Cracklins are on a different level than what we have in Texas!

Ok Billy's my 1st time visiting drove from Prairie View, Texas I'm smackin and smiling. It's favorable just a hint of spice fresh Cracklings and $12.87 .I was scared seeing the bag looks greasy but not greasy at all. I'm totally Satisfied and I definitely will plan another trip.

Go to Don's They will charge you extra 3% for using card and they're prices are more expensive also only have 1 two person table to sit. Inedible boudin balls, too big so they tasted like flour. Definitely not coming back here should have just gone to Dons.

Awesome.... I love this place. The crawfish boudin is amazing. Drove from Houston Texas to Orlando Florida and had to make a stop on the way home. Bought a foam cooler and stocked up on the frozen boudin and green onion sausage.

Proud of their mid grade $8 per LB boudin. Expected more being in the boudin capital of the world - Scott LA. SWLA has twice as good boudin for half the price. I can only raise my eyebrows reading people say it's the best boudin they ever tried. Price isnt concern if it were worth it. I guess if you're in BUFU they do things their own way. In fact Dan's, best stop and now Billy's have failed to impress me. Different strokes for different folks. The crawfish sandwhich was like something you see from Napoleon Dynamite on wonder bread. Basic across the board.

You cannot leave LA without stopping here if you live out of state. This place is always packed. The chicken cracklin is so good. Picking up some varieties of boudin. The first time I ever had boudin it was from Billy’s. I’ve been a fan ever since.

The crawfish pie was disgusting and I had to throw it out on to I10 while gagging. Boudin balls were good though.

Tried Billy's regular boudin ball at the Scott Boudin Festival, and even though I was stuffed from a fried shrimp Cajun dinner, I couldn't get enough. Perfectly crispy, peppery, and flavor filled. It was my favorite treat from my time in Louisiana and I only wish I had room for more.

I'm not to big of a fan of have a worker using there cell phone next to my credit card made she was just texting someone with my card in her hand are taking pictures of my card number all I know if my credit card information gets stolen I'm going meet yall

These boudin's are the best I have tasted. Initially, the boudin balls looked harder than they were. Let me tell you, they are soft. My fav is the chicken & pepper jack, deliriously good. I also picked up some smoked links. I cheated myself by not ordering more boudin balls to go.

Great crackling and snacks for the road

The cashier at The drive-through window refused to sell us 3 pounds of crackling. So we asked for 2 pounds and she said no !!!! so we asked how many can we have? And she said you can have 1 pound unless you want 3 pounds you have to come inside. Well, we had been waiting in line forever so we were able to get only 1 pound, I don’t get it because you just lost a sale.

Me and and my husband came from port Arthur tx to come get your season crackling and we had your crawfish boudain balls and we bought the frozen boudain regular/crawfish and jalapeño sausages and when I tell you everything was delicious we will be back we loved it

The Cracklings needed way more seasoning. There was little to none and they also made me queasy and nauseated.

First , let me say that Billy’s in general has good food and I spend $60-70 at various locations each visit when traveling. This one star rating is for the SCOTT location specifically. Take CAUTION and triple check your orders with this particular location in Scott, La. Today was by far the worst visit. We sat in drive thru for 50 min ,spent $75 only to not receive the correct order or all of our food. People make mistakes right ? Absolutely - so forget being charged and given the wrong food but I would like the missing order that was also paid for. Did a U-turn on hwy to go back for the $14 part of the order that was missing. I was met by 2 employees a female and the guy (Drake- name on server drive thru receipt )that took my order at the window. They tried to tell me I needed to go get back in the line to be helped. I’m sorry , what ??Drake starts by telling me that I didn’t even make an order , then switches to he put the order in the bag and I need to go get the barcode label for the order. HOW ?! when I didn’t get the order, that’s why I’m here sir The manager Elaine says they can’t refund without the barcode, so they have to run cameras in 24 hours to see if the order was placed in my bag. 🙃 Ok…. so now we wait. Let’s watch the camera. Elaine made it clear that she is the manger , I hope the owner has some insight as to how his/her employees are impacting customer service, including Drake who had a horrible attitude at the window even before the mishap. At this point, I honestly don’t plan to patron here again. Customer service is everything.

Their food is very good it's well seasoned not two peppered. Their employees are very nice add both locations. And I hope you have business does well and they stay open for many many years to come. Thank you all for your service....

First time here today. I tried Best Stop and Dons each once in the past. The crawfish boudin balls were good but the boudin and cracklings were average. No crunch only chewy cracklings

I don't eat boudin or pork cracklins but my wife says they're really good! They're always out of pork skins but the chicken cracklins are good awesome. They must be doing something right because I've only been there once without them being backed up all the way to the door.

My family and I were driving through Louisiana and decided to stop to see if Billy’s was as good as everyone says. The lines were long but it was worth the wait. The pepper jack boudin ball was incredible. It is safe to say that the Billy’s Boudin & Cracklins is a must try!

Slow service, the line moves to slow for getting customers out in a timely manner. They need one group of employees serving food and the rest working the cash registers. They need to do faster customer service. The food is great. 2/14/2024 Back here again and people is walking out due to slow, slow service. Some day and I hope soon Billy will figure out how to serve customers like BEST STOP. ILL have to come back another day. Standing in line for 20 minutes and one of the 2 foodlines is broken down.

Count your food before you leave! I was charged for 4 crawfish boudin ball, 4 regular, and 4 pepper jack, they gave me 3 of each. Dirty trick.

So here it goes. I visited a Navy buddy of mine in the Scott, LA area. He always spoke about boudin. This boudin, that boudin. I've never had it before, but decided to give it a try when I arrived. So once I landed in Lafayette and retrieved my rental. The representative told me about Billy's. Well, what she said was, "Everybody goes to Billy's. There's always a line so go there right now." So I put the address in my GPS and by chance, my hotel was in that direction. Once there, I bought some pastries, a lady helped me get a sample of the crackling (in that moment, I transformed in the food inspector in the movie Ratatouille); okay back to my review. I purchased some cracklin and drove to my hotel to nap before the party later that evening where I had some boudin. It was delicious. His wife purchased me some to take back home with me, but I forgot it. He sent me a pack (frozen over dry ice) and I felt like I hit the jackpot. This boudin is delicious. Thanks to my Navy buddy and to Billy's. I can't wait to share it with my brother, sons, and friends. They too have never tried it. Signed boudin lover in SOCAL.

I shopped there at the drive thru, got cracklins and regular boudin balls with cheese...sorry but terrible. Usually good products. My cracklins was 90 percent fried fat, no skin, boudin ball was black inside, the small amount of it that I ate until I looked at it, gave me bad diarrhea for 4 days until I went to the doctor for help...don't know what happened there over the Xmas holiday but I have never gotten that kind of product there before...no picture of the balls, got rid of them before I got home...I stored the cracklins until I could eat solid food again and disappointed all over again...sorry billys, but u most do better...will try u next time I travel thru Scott, but I will try the food before I leave the place...from houston tx.

Pepper Jsck Boudin balls are good-cracklins on the other hand were terrible today! We had chicken and pork. The pork were huge chunks that had a weird gamey taste to them. Very disappointed after waiting in line for 20 minutes.

Tried Boudin (pepperjack) for the first time as it was highly recommended by a friend. Absolutely delicious, really loved it.

Billy's makes some decent cracklings, but you have to try their bacon wrapped pork tenderloin! I grilled mine over oak, slow and low and it blew me away. Check'em out!

My first experience will not be my last! I tasted the chicken crackling and crawfish boudin. I literally had a Baptist fit at the register! I can’t wait until my next trip to Louisiana!!

Stop here 2-3 times a week with my grandson after picking him from school. Today, I encountered terrible customer service from a female worker that cannot be excused! Best Stop down the road will be receiving our business from here on out.

I don't know what happened here. Bouding the size of bar s frank hot dogs, and cracklins so greasy I couldn't even eat them. I will not be back. The worse I've ever had.

Billy’s I love your food but I’ve notice every time I get your cracklins they taste like Vida. Now, I don’t know what that means but mom used to say it for an unmarked hog. It taste like testosterone and smells like it also. I just returned a bag for this. $25 dollars a pound and we eating gamey meat. No thank you. Then they tell me that they don’t make them at the store it’s made at another place and brought here.

Went home to Jeanerette's 1st annual french bread festival this past weekend. Stopped by Billy's in Scott got the chicken stew in a jar mix and I tell you.....It was incredible. Gonna order some online.

So glad to be back in Cajun country. I live in Texas with a lot of wanna bee Cajun restaurants and markets. Nothing compares to the real thing. Great boudin, boudin balls, cracklings, and specialty meats.

Wasn't a fan of the boudin at all and the chicken cracklins is a hard pass, they were basically chicken nuggets that I was charged $17 for a pound.

This is one of my favorite places on the planet. I’m from Alabama but have family ties to the area. I discovered Billy’s about 10 years ago and ever since then I’ve made a point to go there anytime I’m remotely close. I always get the same thing. An order of boudin balls, half regular and half pepper Jack filled and they’re so delicious. Can’t recommend Billy’s more.

I really love the chicken cracklin, but lately it's been more like chicken nuggets instead, when they first started selling them it was truly cracklin now you get more meat than skin cracklin which is a big disappointment considering the price keeps going up and customer are getting less because of all the meat included. They used to be very crunchy now it hit and miss, used to buy 2 to 3 lbs at a time along with other items, I hope they go back to the way they started it was a much better quality product.

Sooo, finally decided to try this place after reading several reviews! I ordered a few crawfish boudin balls, a few regular boudins balls and a pound of regular cracklings. After waiting inside in an exhausting long line for 45 minutes, the cracklings were a disappointment😞! Very hard and dry. Not worth the wait or money. On the other hand, the boudin was good. I will definitely be trying Don's across the street on my next go around.

First time here and the line was long! I didn't expect that but we went inside looked around and decided to order in the drive thru since we had little kids. It was about a 30 minute wait but the boudin and cracklings were delicious! Definitely will be back! Pictures are the day after we heat up in the air fryer.
