Very good,waitress was nice and attentive. Food was good. I wish the regular menus had the "roadkill names" but the waitress did give us the to go menu for our grandson. Got some tee shirts and other stuff.

This little country eatery has been in business for roughly 40+ years. The food is always amazing and every one is always so kind and friendly and compassionate and the atmosphere is family oriented and affordable. Definitely our favorite local spot.

After 4 days is Supai, this is exactly what we needed. Food was good and the service was exceptional.

Really nice atmosphere and extremely good Haddock fish filets. Splurged a little on the All You Can Eat option on the menu. We both enjoyed this Friday fish special for Lent.

My boyfriend remembered this place from years ago, when the menu items were hilarious takes on roadkill. Now, the only way to see these is on a tee shirt. It was a beautiful ride to get there but the food we had was not homemade. (Maybe we just chose the wrong items - should have had the fish fry.) Also, I hated to see the sides in throw-away styrofoam. The ladies working there were very nice. There are stray cats outside.

Great food homemade soups and pies. Ham bean soup is always a big hit. . Cute little shop inside...

A must stop if you are on Route 66 or I40. Has a good kids menu and great menu overall. We stopped for lunch and had the burgers. Definitely recommend. The dining room theme is super fun, especially for littles. This will be our new place to eat when we pass Seligman during meal times!

This was very special. My father and I were really in to road kill cafe growing up but didn't realize it was real. Sadly my dad passed away before I realized it was real restaurant. So as soon realize it was real we made arrangements to go it was 2 day drive but worth it. The food was great staff amazing. Got 2 shirts as well.

It was one of the best cheessteaks I've had in a while. And the peanut butter pie? AMAZING!!

Just passing through and decided to stop and boy was I glad I did! Hands down one of my now top cheesesteaks, too bad I don’t live out that way! Also got the roast beef sandwich and was more than pleased with the real beef and great gravy. Also what friendly staff I came in just before close and got fantastic service. If I’m ever out that way again I am definitely stopping in! 🥰

I had the best roast beef sandwich and fries with gravy since I was a kid!!! Don't ever change! Real roast beef, not sliced lunch meat. Only complaint, the dining area was cold. We were next thing to shivering. Please warm it up a bit

Pros: loaded fries were delicious, bacon cheese burger was legit, and the pie was unforgettable!! Cons: none...except that this Cafe is not located closer to where I live. I'm thinking of asking if they ship their pies. The PB pie was out of this world!

This place is just awesome. The people are friendly the portions are good, the service was fantastic and the prices are reasonable. This is such a great lunch spot while out riding on the motorcycle.

Stopped in on Saturday evening for supper. Food was delicious and the price was so reasonable. Staff was very friendly and service was fantastic. Learned of the paint night that is coming up soon. . My cousin and I will be attending in September. I definitely recommend the roadkill Cafe and I will return again soon for another delicious meal.

Hi there. Me and some of my m/c brothers stop in to eat here Saturday. I have heard in the pass that their food is excellent. So I suggested we stop. I had a hot turkey sandwich with fries. It was excellent. Turkey taste like it was just cook. All my brothers love their food and also said everything else was great. Staff was friendly and prompt. Hats off to the cook and everyone else that keeps this place going. Thanks Base/Yak - SSFFSS - 19/19 Ps. This place is out in the country. So make sure you have gas. Lol

In-laws from Mercersburg took us. Good food, good service. Would go back more, but it's a 20-hour drive to get there.

I love this place!! I have been going here since I was a kid. Great food at decent prices. The people that work there are very nice and friendly. They even have a ice cream shop outside which of course everyone love's ice cream ❤️🤓

When rating a place like this that's off the beaten path, comps are important. It must be made clear that there is also a distinction in rating between breakfast and everything else. For the location breakfast deserves a 3 star but lunch and dinner is predictable American rest stop food fare. It's worth it to come early and get a simple hearty breakfast. Oak Barrel Cafe offers much better lunch and dinner and Mikes Restaurant 25 min north has better breakfast. This is a locals restaurant and that's who they serve, their locals. Which is plenty to be proud of. I have to keep perspective of gastronomic experience with expectations of location in mind.

Hello everyone! Went on vacation to see my family down here. Saw my wife's side of the family for the first time in 4 years! My god is her sister hot. Unfortunately I chose the wrong sister. My granddaughter is filling in nicely too! Went fishing once or twice and caught only 3! Unbelievable. At my cabin back at home I could catch 3 in a few minutes! Oh shoot I rambled a bit there. Well anyways the food and prices were completely horrendous. The only reason I didn't give this review 1 stars is because of that cute little server named Bianca! What a catch! Was a good trip however. -Carl

One of the best places to eat and the staff is always awesome

A hidden gem that is my kind of place. It's not fancy. It's not a five star restaurant or store. Nope, just a very good little combination of a small general store that serves great food as well. They are reasonably priced, with food to leave you satisfied. Chances are they also have an item you may need as well for home. So you can get a good meal, and buy items from the store. A great little place. I wish I had it near me. For me it's special trips out that way. But the RoadKill is actually a destination for me allowing me to enjoy riding, and a nice meal. Now if you're the uppity type, you may not find this to your liking. But normal people will love it.

An out of the way gem. The food is great with a very reasonable price. You can get a homemade meal for about the price of a value meal at McDonalds. I recommend the Country fried steak, fresh not a frozen patty like everywhere else, with coleslaw like grandmother made.

My family and I went there to get the fish because it was Friday. I had never been there before and was looking forward to it. When we got there, we were told they were out of fish. I was disappointed, but tried the crab cake dinner instead. It was great! The people there are very friendly and made sure we had a great experience. Would easily recommend.

You need good reliable food? Bianca is great. And a deck of cards at each table, no you don't wait that long for your food. Also a mini grocery, ice cream, snacks, milk, some ammo. No gasoline. Also cash is king, credit card surcharge is added if you use a card.

Best little kept secret in PA. Amazing staff, good food. Known for pies, Barbara Snyder is the grand matriarch of the venue. Clearly, she has passed down great morals and value. Go there, you will not be disappointed. Restrooms spotless. At least the womens room.

A dying-breed sort of place. Great food, great prices, and they also have an attached grocery/convenience store for supplies, which is extremely helpful to those that camp around the area. Oh, did I forget to mention that they're probably the only place left in the mid-Atlantic that still has "penny candy"?! My family and I cannot imagine a world without the Roadkill! See y'all in the fall for our second biannual pilgrimage to the Roadkill!!!

Great atmosphere. We played cards (they are on the table) as we waited for the food. I liked the broccoli bites. A lot of food for each portion. I got a hamburger and fries. All was very hot. Too stuffed for their homemade desserts! Great customer service. Grilled cheese was good. Wings could have been cooked more, but all of the food was great

Does not have the unique ambiance of the old roadkill, but the food and service were good. I had a cheeseburger and was obviously fresh hand made patty with plenty of toppings to call it your own. A side of fries with gravy was plenty to share with fresh fries but gravy from a bottle.

Been coming here for years with my family. It's a tradition to do our Saturday breakfast when at the cabin in Western Maryland. Great food and plenty to fill you up.

Hidden Gem. If you have the time or desire to go off the beaten path, wander over towards this place. Excellent home cooked food, very friendly staff, and just a pleasant place to eat. Try the Honey dipped chicken or one of the daily grub specials, you wont be disappointed.

Roadkill is quirky and fun, and the food is always good. The place changed ownership a few years ago, but there hasn't been any drop in quality. I can't wait to go back!
