Absolutely delicious food from the hash browns to the crab benedict to the sweet potato pancake. Absolutely no complaints. Highly recommend!!

Disappointed. Selected the 2 eggs as one of the sides for an upcharge and they didn't give me the egg that was supposed to come with the sandwich. On top of that... I asked for no garlic aioli. It was put on there anyway. Only ate the eggs and Bacon, threw the rest away. Details folks!!!

Choose the lunch meal of the day and the dessert choices. Other lunch choices like salads are okay but other choices which we ate some were okay but not great.

Great happy hour before 6:30, excellent Old Fashioned, the blue cheese crusted medallions were to die for, and our server Micah, was so kind and attentive. It was just a bit cold in the restaurant so bring a sweater. I highly recommend all around!

I probably won't go back for brunch, however I will go back for their dinner

We ordered a Chantilly cake to celebrate my sisters graduation and this cake was massive. It was a 3 layer white cake with strawberries and blueberries in between each layer and whipped frosting. The cake was good and light, spongy would be the best way to describe it. The fruit toppings came in a separate container to be put on top of the cake when you’re ready to cut and serve it to prevent the cake from getting soggy. I enjoyed this cake and the light texture but others in a group wanted the cake to be a little more dense and less spongy

Stopped in for a quick solo lunch, but will definitely be coming back with the family for dinner! I got the soup du jour (which was a perfectly spiced shrimp gumbo) and a steak salad (which was tossed and well balanced). Both tasted fantastic! It was busy so I was surprised when my food came out quickly. My waiter, Gabriel, was very kind and attentive. Thanks for making my quick lunch break a great experience!

10/10 the food and service was excellent I had the Fried Shrimp salad, mimosa and pineapple upside down cheesecake! The mimosa amount appeared small in size because it was less than half glass but it was definitely perfect for me!! It was very strong lol will be returning for sure

My wife and I have been coming to Biscotti's since 1995. That's almost 30 years. It's one of the best restaurants in Avondale which is one of the nicest areas of Jacksonville. The food here is amazing and the cake selections are to die for. Their food is also open source as much as possible. Make sure you get some bread pudding with ice cream One of its best claims to fame is that they promote artists from throughout the city with their artwork on the walls. Omg lol the desserts are sinful..The coconut cake is so light and fluffy yum the Tropical cake is to die for all of the flavors just explode in your mouth...Gurl! One of my absolute favorite is The carrot cake well I’m actually drooling while writing this review..😝 and then the Key Lime cheesecake cake.. lol I legit am not proud of myself right now for writing this review at 1:30 in the morning and without having a slice of anyone of the desserts listed above… lol careless on my part lol!!!!!! You can’t go wrong with place!!!! do yourself a favor grab a couple partners and sample please

The food is really good. Pretty nice portions. I had to e Crispy Shrimp Salad. Fresh Kale atop crispy watermelon radish & veggies. The Pineapple Upsidedown Cheesecake was amazing! The only hiccup at Biscotti’s was that it was my friend’s birthday. They forgot to give her a birthday candle/dessert. Yet another patron received a birthday acknowledgment. I would go back, just not on my birthday lol.

I personally did not like the cheese cake, it lacked flavor. Very bland. Doesn’t taste anything like “New York” style cheesecake. I should have gotten the pineapple cheesecake vice the caramel. Very disappointed.

I can't say enough good things about their catering service. My daughter got married in St. Augustine. She just moved to Jacksonville. As her mother, I was helping her plan the wedding from California. The catering coordinator helped us plan the perfect taco buffet for the wedding. The food was delicious. Many people commented on how good the food was. The customer service what exceptional. I really appreciated the client portal and whenever I had a question, someone always responded within 24 hours. The catering team who worked the event was super friendly and accommodating. I HIGHLY recommend Biscotti's for any event! Thank you Biscotti's for playing such an important role in making the special day perfect!

This is a great little restaurant in Jacksonville. The food was amazing. Everything from the pasta to the pork chop; the food was great. And dessert was nothing short of amazing. Save room for a dessert or two. It definitely was the highlight of our meal.

Not a fan after today’s visit. It was extremely loud not much they can do for that but it definitely made for a miserable time. Food was ok. Been there before and just wasn’t the same. Main issue was while ordering drinks the waitress just walked off as my hubby was ordering. Just left. No words no nothing. Just left. Other issue is ordering an egg breakfast and apparently no toast or bread comes with it. i guess I wrongly assumed I’d get bread or etc with it as most places give a toast w their omelettes. So ii asked another server if I could have a biscuit with the omelette assuming it was part of the meal. Nope. $5 extra. I would’ve asked ours but after the food came she was gone again. Couldn’t get a waitress to get jam or jelly. But why would this not be offered especially when you have the audacity to charge $5 for said biscuit? Waitress was just meh. Not rude per se just made us very uncomfortable. Maybe they were just busy but the entire vibe was just bad. No refills, no boxes just here’s your food then gtfoh. She wasn’t rude just MIA the entire time. We’ve always enjoyed it there but this visit will be our last for awhile. Hubby didn’t like his dish or drink but that’s not on them. He just expected something different. We just felt like a nuisance to them and honestly like they could care less about our experience. Which is fine. But $5 for a biscuit for an egg breakfast and I can’t even get a .2 jelly or have a waitress come back after food is dropped off, not even a refill. Well I’ll pass on a return trip.for a long time. Don’t need my butt kissed at breakfast but if you’re gonna charge $5 for a biscuit give a girl a jelly or refill bc it was dry w no jam. i was looking forward to some to go cake for tonight’s dessert but after the $5 biscuit up charge I was too mad not that it mattered bc we had to chase our check down anyway. Just super bummed this was our brunch spot. May seem petty but we don’t go out much and when we do we don’t mind spending good money. But this was just lackluster at best

Avalon neighborhood I believe, very safe looking. Reminds me of old downtown Melbourne. We had two bread appetizers, grilled Brie and the bruschetta, was the better because of the flavorful bread. Real luxardo cherries might be better option than sour for the Brie but both unique and tasty and worth it. Only gave a 4 because I was hoping for more vegetarian options as trip advisor participants stated, not the restaurants fault. Good service! Good temp inside. Cozy. Would return.

This is an old has-been restaurant that caters to ladies garden club lunches where people quietly eat bad food and don’t complain. The desserts are exceptional but the food needs a serious upgrade. “That’s been a the menu for 31 years“. Yes. That’s the problem. When I tell the manager go to French Pantry and learn how to prepare a Thai chicken salad, he says we don’t compare ourselves to them. Of course not, no comparison. Today I thought how can they mess up a Reuben. Well, the cheese was cold, unmelted because it was placed over the cold sauerkraut. The bread was overtoasted. There was very little meat or thousand Island sauce. I asked him to take it off the bill but he refused and insisted on remaking the sandwich. It was no better the second time. Not happy with this. Go to French Pantry. Because we were a party of 8, the tip was automatically added. So I had to ask for a fork, ask for salad dressing for the Cesar salad. This happens often when I don’t control the tip. The service gets sloppy.

Food was amazing! We loved the chicken and the chocolate cake. However, our service was awful, and we were left waiting multiple times and had empty glasses during the meal.

Went there for the first time yesterday and it was super cute! We started off with the Bruschetta which was so delicious, and then ended up sharing the Turkey Sandwich. I do wish they had fountain drinks though, you have to get a can, so I wonder how refills would work. Will definitely be going back, I had my eye on some of their lunch specials throughout the week. Not too horribly priced either.

Went for brunch after church with hubby. The steak salad is very delicious, hubby’s favorite… the cook has been there for 27 years and that says a lot about management and how they take care of their employees. I had the hot steak sandwich with sweet potato fries and it was delicious! The bread was little overly toasted for me and they were very kind to remake me one on a brioche bread instead and it was super tasty as well. Cris , the manager brought the food to our table and our servers Sabrie and Tamara are the best . Never a long wait for the best tasting food affordably priced and top service! The location is great! Parking is never a hassle. The desserts welcome you as you enter made in house and fresh . I had a free muffin to go … we will be back.

Awesome desserts! The food was good but not the best. My husband and I both ordered a sandwich. I ordered the Salmon and hubby had the roast beef.

We have been coming here for a long time, however I was disappointed by my meal. The crab and artichoke fondue did not have much flavor. The kale salad was very hard and difficult to eat. Not very impressed. The white pappardelle pasta was very bland. It tasted like milk and salt. I think the quality of the food is lacking.

Went there for the cake....the pink champagne cake is sooooo good...$10 for a slice but worth it I suppose. Very clean bathrooms and great staff.

Disappointing experience. We went for brunch and to say the least, we left hungry and ended up at Blue Fish (just across the street, great food, drinks, and service). If you enjoy eating pancake batter and undercooked French toast, this is the place for you. The service was very disappointing, our waitress seemed to be in a wicked rush except when it came to serving us and the manager, well… “Attitude reflects Leadership.”

I ate dinner here while visiting Jacksonville for a conference, and I'm so glad I did. If you're also visiting the area, Biscottis sits on a little strip of nice restaurants and shops, surrounded by a high-end residential area. The service and food were both excellent. I ordered the salmon salad with a side of fries, and I sampled the soup of the day…I believe it was a corn chowder, which I would have ordered if I was any hungrier b/c it was sooo good. The salmon salad was tasty. But the real standout was the sweet potato fries, which are probably in the top three sweet potato fries I've ever had. Next time I'm in Jacksonville, I hope to come back and try something else on the menu (and get more of those fries).

My Girlfriend and I was not pleased with the service today. My pancakes was BURNT. The Manager did not handle this issue correctly to offer a remake well after my food was brought out. When a customer come to sit down and eat remaking Burnt food to go is unacceptable.

Service was great, everyone was nice, drink was hitting. I forgot what the pizza was called, but it was wild mushroom and chorizo. The flavors were really good. The entree I decided on the lamb shank, which was so tender with phenomenal curry flavors. Took the bread pudding home as I was full, and boy. all I can say is i was upset when it was gone.

This used to be one of my favorite places for brunch. Sadly the service has really gone downhill, our server today, won’t mention his name, gave zero F’s…..we waited for 20min for him to come over to the table to take our drink order, then we finished our drinks before he ever came back for our food order, then we had to go to the bar ourselves for a refill and sat there for 20 min for the check. While I appreciate not being rushed….this was just negligence and complete rudeness. The food is so good too bad the service is terrible.

Oh wow! Where do I start? From the time you walk in, you’re greeted by the most delicious case of sweets as well as one of the staffers. You are sure to meet Allison if you are there in the evening, she makes sure that you are well taken care of and that everything progresses without a hitch. If you go for brunch, be sure to ask for Gabriel, he will leave no stone unturned with the most immaculate attention to detail with his suggestions and making sure that your drink is topped off. I love how he suggested that our salads come out as an appetizer, rather than with the meal. Everyone is super kind and the food is prepared with such excellence. There is no wonder why they’ve been able to stay in business for 30 years. We were visiting Jacksonville for a week and visited three times and will probably do the same thing the next time we’re in town. Thank you all for your warm hospitality and the great dishes.

My wife absolutely loves this place. We along with many people in Jacksonville think they have the best cake in the whole city, in fact in the whole area. My wife always wants to go here to get cake for her birthday. The service is always on point and the cake and the rest of the food is delicious, they did the cake for our wedding reception and it was fantastic. I highly recommend this place.

The service here was excellent. My eggs Benedict were over cooked but I would come back for the corn beef hash. Inside is dark, all the furniture is brown or black so vibes were low.

Found this place while at St Vincent's. Great brunch menu. House made corn beef brisket was very tasty, quiche was great, muffin was great, and the service was very good.

I shared a last-minute late night meal with a friend. Our waitress was wonderful and the food was great.

I really wanted to give one of my favorite places to go for cake a 5 star. However, my husband and I went last night to end our date night to grab a slice of cake. The young lady who was behind the bar didn't acknowledge us at all. I did notice she was busy and wait, but almost 10mins went by so I asked me questions while she keep working about the cake flavors. She answered the questions and finally asked were we ready. After we said yes she stated you guys do know the slices are twelve dollars a piece right. I was in shock that she would ask us that. After we ordered and paid we waited for our cake, we set and watch her become very welcoming and inviting to the next two people behind us that do not look like us and also didn't ask them if they knee the price if the cake. This is so disheartening that we experienced this at one of favorite places and in this world that we're in.

Dining at Biscottis was a pleasant experience. The menu offered a number of dishes that were appealing. Several of us ate at lunch on a Saturday and brunch is available. I ordered a waffle with real maple syrup, blueberries and pecans. It was excellent and very fresh. One of my dining companions had a salad with salmon. The salmon was slightly overcooked but everything was fresh. Another diner ordered a quiche was also outstanding. It was quite loud in the restaurant so we had to speak up to be heard. The atmosphere was otherwise comfortable. Service was also very good.

Great food, great service. My husband and I usually come here for brunch, but we hired Biscottis to make our wedding cake! They were very responsive to all of our questions and the cake was amazing!

Biscottis was one of our family's favorite restaurants at one time. We have eaten here at least three times a month for the past year. The desserts remain some of the best in Jacksonville; however, the entrees have taken a nosedive. We continued to give them more chances in the hope that the food preparation would return to its former glory. No such luck. From burned edges of the meatloaf sandwich to cold cheese on top of the Ortega grilled pizza, we have experienced the last hurrah.

I'm gonna do my best to talk this place up in a way it deserves. But I'm gonna fall short. I go here around 1 to 3 times a month, a little more or less, over the last 7 years. Amd it's just incredible. The food. I'm a creature of habit. I tend to order the same thing most times. But I absolutely love what they have to offer. The medallions are my goto dinner, and it's just the best. For breakfast, the French toast is so good. All the sides are great. Service. This is what drives me crazy about the place. I try to try new places, and you know, get restaurants into rotation. Over a long enough period, everyone slips. Even the best. But this place doesn't. Given how many times I've gone here, I should have had a poor experience many times by now, and barely anything I can mention. It's always the nicest place I go to, with the best food. Go here.

Every single thing they make is delicious! I love the fact that they have lower priced items, not just higher priced items. My favorite thing on the menu is the Salmon Salad with Warm Lentil Dressing... it's SO good ! My daughters favorite is the Goat Cheese Salad. They have good kids meals too. Like I said EVERYTHING is good and high quality... including the service of course...(Gabriel is a great waiter). I love the fact you can make a super easy reservation on-line, and that takes the worry away about waiting for a table, especially for workday lunches... and don't skip Dessert !!!!

Visited today with my 88 year old Mom for an early Mother's Day lunch while she is in town. She ordered the Brie appetizer as her lunch, and loved it! My tuna sandwich was delicious. Of course, we had to split the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake for dessert. Shambray was an excellent server, and so sweet to my Mom. Biscottis never disappoints!

Food is superb! Atmosphere is great! The bar is sociable. The bartenders are a hit or miss. Just make sure you ask them how much the liquor drinks are before you start trying it smh.

We hired Biscottis for our brunch wedding and everything was perfect! The food was amazing and hot! They handled our small 42 person wedding with ease. They easily accommodated our vegan, gluten free guests and they made sure we got all our leftovers. We were able to enjoy it the next day with some of our out of town guests before they left! It was great! My only comment would be there were some times that the buffet wasn't being managed well (according to our planner having to step in a few times). Other than that we felt like they were the perfect option for our brunch wedding.

We met friends there today and it was a surprise between us ladies and our husbands. Our friends flew in from Mass and we got there early to be seated before they arrived. Hostess was so accommodating and waitor was Amazing. Great personality, fun and gave us a great Experience. The food was delicious and dessert even better

Took my mother to lunch here today, and as always, Biscotti's never disappoints! I had the Thursday lunch special, and mother ordered the appetizer of tempura fish fingers. Generous portions and a to-go box for dinner tonight. No dinner dishes is a plus in my book😉

I called two days in advance to make a reservation on a Monday night at 5:30. Restaurant was empty but we weren’t given a window seat or a seat in middle of restaurant, but by kitchen door. Tempura fish sticks were under cooked and soggy. Salmon salad was bland. Chicken Francoise didn’t have enough sauce.We enjoyed our dessert but overall experience was not impressive. We expected a lot more for such an expensive meal.

I've been for breakfast, lunch, and dessert. Breakfast and lunch are both pretty good, although not among my favorite places in town. But the desserts are the best in Jax, along with Amaretti and Yaya (Yaya I think is a lot less known). Come either with a friend or ready for your pancreas to take a beating - these cakes are BIG.

Put in a cake order for my fiancé birthday on a Tuesday to be picked up on Saturday. Gave them the order over the phone, they took my credit card information and said I was good to go for a pickup anytime after 11am on Saturday. Got there a hour before my dinner reservation to pick up the cake and they had nothing for me - said it was “lost”. So my credit information, is that lost or does someone have that? With that being said never going here again, first experience and last. Place sucks, and that’s my TED talk.

One of the hostess needs to either go back to school or be taught some manners. After waiting the 25 mins they advised the wait would be, and after approaching them to ask how much longer; first of all, a group of people that arrived after us was told they were next, we then proceeded to ask how much longer.. and with the most entitled attitude she said it was going to be about 20 more minutes and that it was just an estimate…. I said ok we are leaving and she almost screamed BYE!! Totally not okay… this is not the way to treat customers that have been waiting for a considerable long time and in top of that are overseen + other people jumped in front of them. Management should take this into consideration. The way she treated us almost racist… and that’s something not tolerated.

Went for a birthday. The food and desserts were great and the waiter made the birthday girl feel special on her day. 10/10.

We were pleasantly surprised with the best waiter we've had in recent memory. Russell made us feel so welcome and was exceptionally helpful in every way. We both ordered Reuben sandwiches and they were absolutely delicious. Hubby had fries and they were great as well as plentiful. I had the pesto pasta salad. It was so good. We are looking forward to our next visit and will request Russell as our waiter.

My boyfriend and I had Biscotti’s for our Easter dinner. Plans got canceled so we scrambled to find a place. We were able to get a reservation pretty easy. I’ve eaten here for lunch and my bf has only had their cakes. Let me tell you their dinners blew us away. I had the pork chop with carmelized apple butter sauce, sautéed green beans and baked Mac & cheese. The pork chop was cooked perfectly and the sauce was superb. Loved the green beans. The Mac n cheese was ok. I would have preferred the garlic mashed potatoes instead. I feel it would have paired better with the flavorings. My boyfriend had the chicken francaise with garlic mashed potatoes and swapped the haystack veggies for the baked Mac & cheese. He loved his chicken and mashed potatoes. He also agreed the Mac and cheese was just ok. We sampled each others meals and also agreed how amazing they were. Our server was good. We did have to flag her down for a drink refill and to order cake to go but she seemed like she had a ton of tables. Maybe they were short because it was a holiday. We ordered the peanut butter mousse and the salted caramel mocha cake slices to go. Those never disappoint! I don’t have pics of these.

The food is excellent. If you were looking for a place to meet or go with your lady, friends for lunch place is excellent be sure and ask about the specials and don’t forget dessert. Ask to sit in Danny’s area!

We had lunch on a Friday and really enjoyed the place. Good menu, excellent food and terrific service. I had a salad and the tempura battered fish fingers. Delicious.

Loved this little place. Waitress and atmosphere were both pleasant and comfortable. Making a reservation was quick, easy, and simple and the food was pretty good. Parking was alittle hard to find being that it is in a busy area in Riverside. We had a window view seat, which I love. Try the Sweet potato Pancakes, they are really good.

Just had another really tatsey breakfast at Biscottis. I have had a chance to eat at all the local restaurant on St. Johns Avenue in Avondale a few times over the last year, and hands down, Biscottis is easily the most consistent and with the best tasting food, imo. Emilie was my waitress today and not only made thoughtful recommendations based on my questions, but she was also genuinely polite, kind, and prompt. I had pancakes and the bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. LOTS OF FLAVOR! I can say the lunches I have had have also been very good with excellent service. Thank you for being here in Avondale. Only concern I experience is an ever present whiff of what smells like aging fish carcuses that periodically fills the back dining room area anytime the door to the kitchen opens and closes. That's been a concern that does take away from the over all atmosphere, but is a consistent nuisance. However, the food and staff are really great.

Our server Russ was was great! Would have been 5 stars but, after lunch I went to the dessert display to pick out a dessert to go. Another server asked one lady who was standing by me if he could help her then he walked away . I said excuse me sir , but I guess he didn't hear me. Then a minute later the same server came back to ask another man if he needed help. After I said to the server excuse me I have a question he acted as if he was clueless about the desserts and passed me to someone else. Luckily my server Russ came to assist me along with the lady behind the display. I feel everyone who works there should be knowledgeable about the food or say im not very familiar let me get someone who can help you.

Out of towner Mother of the Bride. We had brunch and wedding cake sampling. Could not be more pleased with the service & attention we were given. She answered all questions before we asked them! So happy that they will be providing my daughter's perfect cake on her special day!!

My husband and I rented a sail boat for a sunset cruise. One of the additional service that we added was food from Biscottis. We got the Sesame Seared Tuna with Wonton Chips and Wasabi Crème And a 3 Cheese Plate. Food was exceptional! Both boxes were empty by the end of the sunset cruise. The Tuna was so fresh and the cheese melted in my mouth.

30 dollars for a dry flavorless pork chop! If I wanted horrible food I would have gone to McDonald's!

We had a reservation for our group, but had to wait an hour to be seated. Food, waitresses were excellent! Double billed on my credit card and had to dispute the duplicate bill.

Service was fantastic here! These sandwiches were also incredible. I was skeptical about a zucchini sandwich on a sweeter milk bread, but it was so delicious. They also had huge cakes at the front. So if you have a sweet tooth, this is probably worth a stop!

Biscottis is a go to for a GNO, birthdays, and date nights. Their desserts are yummy. The food is really good. My shrimp salad was good, but the shrimp were cold and I wish they would’ve been hot and fresh. I guess Burger King spoiled me with their hot, grilled chicken for their salad. lol! Pizza is always good. The price of a slice of any dessert is now $12, which seems a bit steep. I know prices are up, but at $12 a slice that is $96 out of the whole cake because they get at least 8 slices. The slices used to be bigger, too. I feel like $8 a slice is reasonable and that would be about $64 a cake, which would still bring in a solid profit. But, alas, people will definitely buy the desserts at $12 a slice because they are reliably delicious. It’s made me a better baker though because $12 a slice…ehh.

Haven't been in over 10 years but was so happy that it's thriving and the food was phenomenal! The red velvet cheesecake/cake was so good!

Great brunch place! Food was fantastic, big portion and plenty of flavors. Especially loved the lump crab Benedict. Desserts look amazing but too full to try. Service was prompt and nice. Went in Saturday around 1:45pm, still packed.

Bought a raspberry cake late yesterday and turns out it’s an old piece and very dry. I called up and the manager had a very lousy and irresponsible response that i needed to call yesterday and not today. Please train this so called “Manager”. I will not ever come back. Feel like being cheated. Poor customer service!

The food was good, but the desserts were amazing!!!

Haven't been there in years and it was better than I remembered. It's all about quality at Biscottis.

My wife and I have been coming to Biscotti's for years. It's a great spot for a date night with excellent food and drink offerings. My go to dishes are the Thai chicken satay and their phenomenal Salmon BLT sandwich (pictured). We usually pair this with a few excellent cocktails and a Irish coffee to close the night out. Our go to dessert is their outstanding German chocolate cake. 5/5 on all fronts!

Food is good. Service is slow. Cup of hot tea is $6!!! Seriously? It’s not even listed on the menu.

Excellent all around. Had the short rib lunch special. It was heaven. Shambray was our server. She was awesome. Highly recommended.
