It's no longer Bite Me. It is now Izzys! They now have a meat and 2 hot bar,as well deli selections. My first time there was excellent had homemade pot roast with veg, Mac n cheese,and apple cobbler!!

Tuesday at 1 PM closed…..even though they have a sign outside that says open from 11 to 3. There are no Covid policies affecting their opening I will just gladly take my business elsewhere to a place that follows their own hours of operation

The food is fantastic I make sure I stop by every time I make it to Apalachicola...plus the shirts are cool ....

Excellent Vegetarian Options While visiting Apalachicola, we ate here twice because the food was so delicious. Although not on the menu, I was able to get a vegetarian gyro made with eggplant. Everything is made to order. The deli is not in the river side tourist area so you might miss it, but make sure you don't! It is one of the best places to eat in Apalachicola, especially for vegetarians.

Chef KC did an outstanding job of catering for my daughter's wedding on May 28, 2020. He was extremely easy to work with and had no problem with some unusual/challenging circumstances we had going on. Everyone raved about the food which included Applewood Smoked Chicken Salad Sliders, Shrimp Remoulade, and Lemon Spinach Orzo among other things. We would highly recommend Bite Me Deli for lunch or catering!

I am persnickety! But love this place. I was sticking to ordering what I love and just hoping the place I'm eating doesn't mess it up. Well not only is it always perfect here, but I tried something new today and love it... Since that never happens. I have decided to trying something new (only here at Bite me Deli) every time I come in!

Nice selection of sandwiches. I had the Cuban, hubby had the special which was a tomato soup with sausage and kale and a gourmet grilled cheese. Both of our meals were very good. Friendly people and great service!

Bite me just catered our wedding party of about 50 people and the food was amazing. Our guests loved the food and went back for seconds. KC and staff did a fantastic job helping to make our big day as perfect as we had hoped. Food was hot and ready on time, beautiful presentation. All around a great experience. I would highly recommend them for whatever your needs may be!!

Bite me just catered our wedding rehearsal dinner for about 55 people and the food was PERFECT!! From the very beginning of our tasting to the food being served on our big day, The Bite Me staff treated our day as if it was their own. The food was absolutely perfect and all of our guests thought so too. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend giving these guys a chance! You wont regret it!!

My family and I have come during our vacations to St. George Island, and it's consistently one of our favorite places to eat! We love, love, love and highly recommend it! Their service is friendly and their chef definitely knows what he is doing! We adore the Club, the Pig Special, the French Dip, the homemade potato chips, but our favorite meal hands down is the Mahi Mango Tacos! If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and visit!

Amazing sandwiches! Homemade chips are a must. Macaroni salad is divine. Be.sure to ask for daily specials, we missed out on meatloaf sandwich but were extremely pleased with our pulled pork, cuban and gyro.

We both had the special, Avocado Bacon Burger for lunch...and were so impressed we got a salad and sandwiches to go for dinner that night. It was one of the best burgers I have ever had. The dill ranch on the salad was amazing! I wish I could give more stars.

Bite Me catered our wedding reception this past March and did an excellent job. Becky was very easy to coordinate with over email discuss our options based on our preferences and budget (and even sent her first response wishing us congratulations on our engagement!) KC was very accommodating with our tasting and with pinning down all the details. He even provided us with a diagram for the easiest way to set up our reception space for serving. We had their bayou chicken pasta and a vegetarian pasta option and received many compliments from guests on how tasty their dinner was. Overall, we had a great experience working with Bite Me and highly recommend them!

Very fresh salads and delicious sandwiches. A really good Cuban with a twist. Smoked pork. Excellent all around with boars head meats.

Very pleasant employees! The three sandwiches I ordered are very good and I would highly recommend this restaurant. The location is very clean and well organized. Very prompt service also. Must try if looking for a something good to eat and pleasant experience.

Great sandwiches (make sure you order the in house made potato chips), great salads and service with a smile. The dressings are all home made and I gotta say I love their ranch dressing.

Great Service, Cool little restaurant. Husband got meatball sub and raved how good it was! Handmade meatballs! I got Ruben, was good. Bit too much butter on bread but then I don't butter my bread normally. Will b back!

As someone who travels for work, I'm always looking for great places to stop for lunch. This place was recommended to me, and now I recommend it for sure! It's a small place, but the sandwiches are loaded. ***They also sell deli meat.

I ordered the Mahi Mango Tacos, but they did not have the mango salsa and the woman (possibly the owner, I don’t know) working told me and apologized profusely and offered to make a Mahi Salad with berries, feta, candied nut, spinach and balsamic olive oil dressing. I haven’t had fish that good in years! She was so nice! Support this business.

Don't let the name turn you off, this place is under rated! Not under rated on Google per se, but most come to Apalach and do not venture from downtown, seafood, etc.--This deli being just a few blocks out... Usually a sandwich is just a sandwich, but Bite Me has an awesome selection ranging from Mahi Mango tacos to house slow roasted pulled pork, with all the usuals in between as well as anything you want built your way! The homemade chips are thin, crispy, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The deli is pleasant-surprisingly well worth including in your Apalachicola--one of my favorite places on Earth--experience! Enjoy!

This establishment doesn't need another great review but we just ate there and were so impressed that I have to write one. My husband had the Cuban and I had the brisket special. Both were absolutely fabulous! The meats were tender, the bread hearty and we could taste every ingredient. My husband tries a Cuban almost every place we go and he believes this to be the best! I had the broccoli salad side which was delicious. I'm used to there being too much mayo but the chef used just enough to moisten. He treated us to an appetizer of smoked salmon with a homemade boursin spread, salmon, arugula, orange zest and caviar. At first I thought he may have overdone the boursin, but then the smokey taste of the salmon and the tang of the orange came through. The most outstanding part of this chef's craft is his balance. It's perfect! The owners were so pleasant and helpful. I also appreciated the chef's input regarding the ingredients and his process. A most satisfying lunch and experience! BTW, this isn't Jason, it's Carol. Couldn't figure out how to get his name off of here. :)

We used BMD for the rehearsal dinner (everyone was invited)and for the wedding the next night. 4 points: 1) great people to work with 2) excellent food at a reasonable price 3) very detailed and organized 4) they do what they say they will do. Highly recommend them for any catering event.

Staff was very friendly but charged 2.25 for water. Food was dry (and I normally like my food dryer than most).
