My dirty chai was delicious! There is a minimum credit card charge of $6 just fyi for people like me that only use cards and not getting food/more than one drink

I'm sure the coffee and desserts are fine but when you want breakfast, and this is pretty much the only game in town with dog friendly seating other than Gibson Inn... don't. The arepas with minced beef were soggy and flavorless, despite being advertised as having salsa and jalapenos, neither which were evident.. The huevos rancheros are just embarrassing. The food was so bad that despite having paid a fair amount for it, we left everything and went in search of better pastors. Also, I didn't grade on this problem but, it faces east, which means the rising Sun is brutal in the summer. If you have a dog it's not a good place to go. Perhaps in late afternoon, perhaps not for breakfast. And for dog owners, the water bowl he gave us was so filled with scum that I took it into the bathroom and still couldn't get any of the scum out despite washing and washing and washing. Definitely would not recommend

This place has an awesome vibe, they have free water and a whole lot of delicious food. My personal favorite is the Breakfast Burrito! I’ve been coming here for years every time I’m in town and it never disappoints!

Really cute, suttle place. I went in specifically for the guava pastry. I was NOT disappointed. Pastry was yummy, not fresh as i went in late afternoon, but still very tasty. It's not anything fancy but simple and welcoming.

We love this shop! Our favorite items are the cortadita (we always get doubles,) the MOJO pork burrito bowls, and the guava pastries. This is a very down to earth, quiet and homey little place.

Great food in a relaxed atmosphere with shady outdoor seating. Tons of breakfast and lunch options. Breakfast burrito is a must and don't forget the hot sauce.

Laziest workers. I ordered a chai latte with almond milk and was given a dirty chai, which is made with espresso. I brought it back and they refused to remake my drink and said there was no coffee in it. I’ve been a barista for four years and know the difference. Cafe is also very disorganized. Save your time & money, go somewhere else.

This has been a favorite for years. However, on a recent visit discovered change of ownership, wonderful staff replaced. New staff seemed lost, lacked knowledge of the menu, arepas stale. Very disappointed, hope the problem is transitional. Pastries still very good; think they are baked by a local baker.

Very nice family business. Delicious cafe con leche and the Turkey Ham Hoagie. We were there twice in the morning. 1x meal on site and 1x pick up. To recommend. Would always have breakfast there again. THANKS!

Very slow service. Only two employees. The only items we saw that were gluten free were the arepas and huevos rancheros. The latter was very mediocre.

Coffee is second to none! Pulled pork sandwich is seasoned perfectly, savory, not thirst-provoking. Excellent! Donut was hot and crispy on the outside, soft inside, not overly sugary, super delicious!

Been coming to this area for years now, first time coming in here. Would have been nice to find it sooner. Around here, the only food you can find is fish, fried, or flavorless. Some well-seasoned land-based food is a good find. Arepas are hard to find even in big cities, so finding them here was a surprise. Good choice for a meal. Coffee was decent as well.

Everything was fantastic! The macchiato, the arepas, and the veggie quiche! The guava pastelito was my favorite!! Our kids loved “the healthy one”, but that was definitely quite expensive for yogurt.

Found ourselves in Apalachicola at lunch time and found this quaint little place. It was so good. Fun choices on the menu. I wanted to try the chicken salad but they were out of it. But my turkey/ ham sandwich was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their choices from wrap to pulled pork. They are open for breakfast and lunch.

Just stopped in for a mocha and some Agua Fresca… Oh my goodness incredible! They know what they’re doing

Good small local business with variety to meet breakfast, brunch, or lunch tastes. Good collection of coffees and pastries also. Enjoyed the outside dining since we travel with our dog. Other stores in the area to help spend a few extra bucks.

Delicious banana bread, great coffee and friendly service! I stayed at an airbnb condo thats located on the upper floor of this building and came here for breakfast.

We look forward to visiting this venue daily when we visit each year. The coffee is well prepared and the food is absolutely delicious. I always have the veggie quiche at least one day and the arepas are fantastic!

Great local haunt. I had huevos rancheros and a cafe con leche. Good sweets too! Sit outside with your dog or inside in an eclectic space.

I ordered the Cafe Con Leche and Strawberry Summer cake. Both were fantastic (hence already eaten cake picture). I can’t wait to come back to try more things here.

Cool little cuban cafe in downtown Apalachicola. I'm not a coffee drinker, which is a shame cause cuban coffee is supposed to be excellent, but not my thing. Everything else that they sell I'm all about. It's fortunate I don't live closer cause I would never lose weight. ALL their pastries, baked goods and sandwiches look and taste so good. When I would come previously I would always get a coffee(for someone else) and a pastry to share. It's just whatever catches my eye that day, and I've never made a bad choice. I've had their New Yorker classic style everything bagel with smoked salmon with a smear(yeah I'm fancy) and toppings. Again you can't go wrong with anything here. This time I decided on a scone(still fancy) and the Uno breakfast sandwich. The only knock I could say was that it took a little longer than I would've liked to get the Uno. They make everything fresh and it was busy, and I was being impatient cause I wanted to be at the beach, but that's on me. And while good, the arepa itself was so flavorful that it took over the sandwich and I could barely taste the other ingredients. It just made me want a bag of arepas to take to the beach and snack on. Other than food and drinks, it's just a nice place in town to have a quiet little spot to relax, sit on the walkway, people watch, read etc... I really miss the bookstore that used to be in the same plaza, it was a match made for that area. There is another bookstore in town fyi, it's just a little further down the road. So come get your caffeine and some crawlers or anything else that they're making from scratch and have a relaxing day in town.

I really liked my hoagie. It was not what i expected in a very good way. Also, "The Healthy One" was so delicious. I will come back and get that one again for sure

We came here for breakfast on a Saturday. My husband stood on line for 5 minutes to order. He ordered one regular coffee, one latte and one breakfast sandwich (he forgot to order my sandwich, different review). We waited 15 minutes for the coffee to arrive, and another 20 minutes for the sandwich to arrive. My coffee cup leaked onto the table. I guess the cup was cheap. It wasn’t a wonderful sandwich according to my husband. This place is totally overpriced and overrated. Never again.

On our way to Cedar Key, my fiance and I wanted breakfast, and were excited to try this place, based on the reviews. Unfortunately, when we walked in, the woman at the register stared at us like she was annoyed with us. We said hello... and there was no greeting in response, and no smile. She just stared at us, and when she saw that we had to look at the menu, she turned around and walked to the back. So without trying the food, which was probably really good, we decided to go somewhere else with better service.

The flavors were fresh and amazing. The coffee definitely woke us up. Take a breather. Sit outside. Enjoy life.

Lovely spot in the square. Best coffee so far on our trip. The Mexican baguette “The best sandwich I’ve ever had” according to my husband. My chilaquiles were fresh and plentiful. Perfect breakfast spot.

This is one of my favorite lunch places in Apalach. Best prices in town. And the food is delicious. The veggie quiche is incredible. And you can never go wrong with an arepa.

Very good. Guava pastry was excellent. We tried a little of everything among the 3 of us. We had a vanilla latte, breakfast burrito, cinnamon roll, and braised pork. All were very good. Highly recommended

Went for breakfast and the place was packed. It took a long time for our food but it was very good. Their homemade danishes and breads are amazing. Great cappuccino!

It's a nice little coffee shop near the water. Sit on the deck and get an ocean breeze. Good coffee, ok food, pleasant atmosphere. We come here for our morning coffee, and usually a quick breakfast every time were in town. It's one of those happy go-to hangouts for us. Maybe not a top 10 from all our travels around the world, but one way or another we will be back again and again.

Cafe Con Leche/internet café did not disappoint. An inviting and cozy lil’ spot to hang. Friendly staff, eager to please and with delightful treats did make us go back for more. Those ladies know how to make a sandwich —from our beverages, sandwiches and a variety of pastries — scrumptious. The place did not disappoint and we highly recommend.

We stop here multiple times every time we stay in Apalachicola or are passing through. They have the best coffee in the entire area, and the food is amazing. We love the huevos rancheros, granola yogurt bowl and quiche.

So coffee is super hot, good, but they were only serving pastries they closed as soon as we left or locked the doors, we have sat a watched another 25 other people came by....loss of business in these difficult times..just seems strange. So, 2nd opportunity was much better. Good food, real hot an fresh.

Great service. Had a burrito bowl, banana bread, guava pastry, guava shortbread, and a cafe con leche — all super delicious. Also had a taste of my dining companions’ domino arepa and huevos rancheros— also delicious. Best meal we had in Apalachicola.

Being 2 couples we tried several options: huevos rancheros which had a great tomato sauce and well blended in general, arepa Dominó which was tortilla crunchy, well cooked black beans and queso fresco, pork burrito bowl that was super delicious and filling, good portion, including sweet plantains and on top, we had guava pastelito (pastry) which was wow, some banana bread that is addictive and finally the guava shortbread that is very good. Clean place, good service and again, authentic!

I was there with my family and saw Arepas (Venezuelan dish) listed. Asked for 1 called Reina Pepiada. (traditionally filled with shredded chicken breast, mayo-avocado-cilantro sauce and shredded cheese. But sadly instead received an Arepa filled with chicken salad WITH GRAPES AND ALL. Please don't treat your customers like ignorant. If you were out of an item is better to say is not available. Hope this helps to improve the final product you serve in the future.

Great iced coffee and the homemade pastries are just AMAZING! Going back tomorrow! Don’t forget to add a chocolate chip cookie to your order for later in the day! Can’t beat it!

Great care has gone into the space and it’s beautiful. The staff works hard and are especially friendly. Coffee was a+. I didn’t love the eggs Benedict (I love all of the flavors independently, they just didn’t come together in the dish) but can’t give points off because this place is just so charming and well run.

It's not often one raves about muffins but...... the blueberry muffins here are truly The Best I've ever eaten. Crunchy outside, moist inside and loaded with blueberries. My wife also had the cherry/cream cheese turnover which had a light flaky crust. I also had the pineapple scone which was a "Hawaiian delight" in the Forgotten Coast. Highly recommend as a must stop during your visit.

This place is seriously amazing. We went in just to get some coffee but decided to try their arepas as well. The coffee was delicious and their food is a must have. We got the braised pork arepas and couldn't be happier. They were made fresh and with care. If you're in Apalach this place needs to be on your list.

Nice way to start the day. Breakfast burrito was delicious. Had a little Latin flair. Egg muffins and cappuccino also good. A little too over priced though. You could get similar food at a fast food price for one third the price. But we enjoyed the little cafe’s ambitions

Stopped here on a rainy Sunday morning recently. What a delight! This place serves up everything you could possibly want for breakfast with a huge smile from the staff behind the counter and a “hometown” charm from its patrons. If I lived local, I could see making this a part of my weekend routine. Whether you drink coffee to “get through the day” or just want to take a moment to savor the moment, do yourself a favor and add one of their genuine cortaditos to your order.

Came with a group and tried a bit of everybody's meals. Everything was fantastic! The braised pork Arepas and Burrito were the highlight but the Carne Mechada was also excellent.
