This was one of the best lunches we’ve had anywhere in the villages! Excellent food in a comfortable atmosphere.

Food was great, service was great, and the location right in Brownwood Square was convenient.

Was there Monday place was empty food was nasty and table and menu sticky. Should have listened to my gut feeling and left, never again.

The calamari was AMAZING. This is probably my favorite restaurant to eat calamari.

I went there twice on this visit, and both times, it was great. First time, I sat inside, with excellent service and great food. Second time, I sat outside, and the food and service were even better! I might be moving here!

Our waitress allowed us plenty of time to relax with a bottle of wine before ordering. Food was great and the outside seating allowed us to hear the music on the nearby square.

I am a seafood snob. This restaurant is very good. I've never had a bad meal and they have a small variety of items that are gluten free which is a bonus as not many restaurants do. Service is mainly a hit, but we experienced a few misses. Overall, a wonderful place to dine.

Filet steak was grey in color. Terrible.

What a beautiful evening with stellar service from Casey, delicious food and gorgeous atmosphere. The filet was cooked a perfect rare, thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

the rib appetizer was delicious. the pork ribeye and scallops were so- so and the risotto was not good! if we go back, i’ll get appetizers and stay away from the entrees

Always a wonderful experience at Bluefin in Brownwood! The service and food are typically excellent.

Be warned this is not a place where you will see under 50, really. However, the guests there are great. We did get some looks from staff. They did give us a card and a free dessert for our anniversary. The Rockefeller oysters were great We both order the rainbow trout, which neither of us liked to much. It was on the drier side. I personally did not like the fried okra, but I can see way some would. The asparagus was on point and was cooked to perfection, even being the bigger round ones. The restaurant was dimly lit with blue accents throughout that gave the vibe of water or ocean. Very nicely done.

This place has delicious seafood, drinks and dessert. I had the blackened tuna steak with garlic smashed potatoes and asparagus. This dessert flight was a great deal. We will definitely be back!

Pretty loud inside, ask to sit outside instead. We waited 10 minutes to be waited on, a make server walked pat us three times abd didn't even acknowledge us. The server who brought us drinks apologized and stated that he would be right with us, and then she finally came back waited on us. She was amazing, sweet, and wonderful at her job! I did need more dressing and stopped another male server to request it. He seemed too busy to care, and of course, he never returned. Trout is not recommended; however, everything else was delicious, and the largest portions in the area! The reason we will be back is because of her!

Maybe because it was a holiday for mother's, but i have been coming here for 4yrs. I was sad with the quality of food and service! The appetizer was over cooked, the tuna was undercooked and it looked subpar. The waitress was very cordial but forgetfull!

Went to Blue Fin last night with 6 guests. We were seated inside the restaurant. We complained to manager and waitress about gnats swarming our table. They immediately apologized and said let me see what I can do. That’s the last we heard from anyone about the gnats. We asked for lemons 4 times and salt and pepper twice. It was at least 10 mins before waitress even appeared. She took our drink order and it was 15 mins before part of the drinks appeared. My vegetables were cold, but I refused to complain bc if flying gnats at your table don’t get their attention, what will. Tab was $270 and $54 tip. My last visit for sure. I sent message directly to restaurant via email… not a word.

The bartender was not friendly at all. Never introduced himself. And the cocktail was subpar for the price. And he didn't even bother to ask if I wanted to see a menu.

Our friends visit frequently and love this place. Sadly due to the event in the Square it was fully subscribed and service and food quality suffered. Appetisers brought before drinks. Request for lemon with water took 3 attempts. My lobster tail was missing from my order and the steak was overdone when asked for medium rare. My corrected meal came after everyone else had finished their entree, no apology, no offer to offset this poor service. Luckily we had a nice time because we were with friends but it was not a good experience.

Lindsey was our waitress today. She made our visit so special. So much attention and she was fun and funny. Hope we get her next time. Food was awesome. Sat outside. Took Lindsey's recommendations and glad we did on the fish entries. Really made our occasion special. Probably the best service I have had in 5 years or more. I highly recommend Blue Fin for a wonderful lunch or night out in The Villages. She even brought us a sample fries and sauce she had made up for us. No charge. Thx Lindsey and Blue Fin. Appreciate the amazing service we received.

The burger and salmon we tried here was really good. The servers took photos for us and they were really kind

I gave the low overall because of price. A happy hour wine is $6.00, close to double what it was. I guess we can thank inflation. Prices at Cody's have remained constant. Cody's has a more diverse wine selection and good food prices.

I had the baked Cod with Lemon Butter Sauce! Very good and presentation was excellent. Our waiter Matt was a joy! My Cosmopolitan was top notch. Highly recommended.

We were looking forward to seafood pasta last night at Bluefin but unfortunately, we were not accommodated by the Hostess! It was around 6:35 PM and we noticed 5 open tables outside and asked the hostess for one of these table. She told us it would be a 30–40-minute wait as those tables were reserved for people with 6:45 reservations. Seems that if you have a customer in your restaurant wanting to spend money...you would be more accommodating to keep them there especially if no one else was waiting. We went across the street to the Italian Restaurant and were seated immediately at a perfect seat outside even though the place was more crowded than Bluefin!

Wife swears this place has the best steak she has had, twice! I had fried haddock, which was exceptional. We will return.

We had lunch here on the patio. Everything was excellent. They let us have our dogs with us as long as they were on a leash.

Shrimp appetizer is fantastic ! Scallop Fettuccine and blackened Salmon dishes were absolutely awesome ! Reservation a must.

We went there for Valentine’s Day dinner and everything was great. Our server, Arial, was very attentive , professional and pleasant. I had Blackened Tuna and my wife had the two lobster tails and everything was prepared perfectly and delicious. We had Calamari as an appetizer and it could have been a larger portion but it was very good.

The blackened haddock handheld was excellent!

Very disappointed with chicken cordon bleu!! It was a chicken leg and thigh with bone and skin with a slice of ham on top with slice of cheese on top of that! Only good item in plate was brussel sprouts Would never order again!

Bartenders are on point!! Showed up for drinks and stayed a bit for the stories/laughs.

Jen was our server. Her service was perfect. I had ahi tuna/asparagus and mashed potatoes. It was superb.

Good service, atmosphere and food

The food was wrong the first time out, then under cooked mussels had to send them back, and 2 mussels were bad. I had to spit them out. I was not impressed. Service was sub-par after all of these issues, not even an apology, as if they were doing us a favor for spending our money, which seems to me they are comfortable in day to day because of the captive customers do to their location I could elaborate more but choose to end it here.

Tipped $50 cash and server (Laura) added an additional $50 on the credit card after we left. This is the 3rd time this has happened since we moved here 6 months ago. All at FMK restaurants. Watch your credit card statements! I guess the servers think we're old and stupid. It's a scam.

My wife and I had dinner there Christmas Eve, We were seated a few minutes before our reservation even though it was a busy evening. The calamari was the best we have ever had. It was cut thick, lightly breaded, and cooked perfectly-it actually melted in our mouths, my hats off to the chef. We did have to wait quite a while for our entries to arrive. The asparagus was also cooked wonderfully tender but not mushy. We will return.

Great place! We went for my birthday. Started off at the bar and Caryn (sp?) The red headed bartender made us some great drinks. Once we were seated, the waitress took good care of us. We had sushi and shrimp cocktail for appetizers. For dinner I had the bronzino. As it was my birthday, they gave me a chocolate cake with a candle for dessert. After dinner, we had a few more drinks at the outside bar. Everything was great (food, service, atmosphere). I'd highly recommend a visit if you are able.

Food was exceptional, fantastic. A bit expensive, but you're paying for the venue and scenery as well. If it hadn't been raining I heard there would have been a band in the square. Definitely a place to visit on date night.

We had a reservation for 38 women to hold our annual Ladies Christmas Luncheon today at Blue Fin in Brownwood. Vera seated us in her elegant fashion and ensured we had our appropriate reservation. Sylvia was an outstanding waitress. There are non better. Sylvia went above and beyond our expectations. There were several managers that stood by to ensure that we had all we needed. All that attended today, would all highly recommend the efficient, professional, and accommodating staff, delicious dinners, and beautiful accommodations. Blue Fin is top shelf. They have proven to be the very best. Judith Gentile and the Wentide Ladies.

Food was great & the price was also. The atmosphere is a little bit more then I personally care for but very nice.

We visited the villages recently and this was our favorite restaurant by far! The service was fantastic. The calamari rings were crunchy on the outside and tender and delicate on the inside. Salads were fresh and flavorful. We shared the pork rib eye which required only a fork to cut due to the tenderness of the meat. Everything was seasoned well and tasted fresh. Highly recommend!

My jambalaya was awesome my wife’s blackberry glazed trout not so much. She told waitress but no offer of apologies. We’ve eaten here before and will return as last nights issue probably was one off.

Ordered Coconut Haddock and Crab Stuffed Shrimp. Neither was what we expected. The Haddock was baked and covered with a sauce and shredded coconut sprinkled on top. The shrimp were supposed to be jumbo shrimp (not) with a very small amount of crab meat in the curve of the shrimp tail, not split and stuffed. Very disappointed....

Great location, decent food, a bit slow with the wait staff. Would try again.

Everything that we have ordered has been delicious. The atmosphere is fantastic if you want to be close to the Brownwood Live music. Patio is front row for entertainment. That being said, you need a reservation, the servers are great, you can tell they are a little over-seated on busy nights. Our door came out in a timely manner, and reasonable prices for tasty seafood. Presentation could be better, but sometimes, the Chef doesn’t get creative freedom, and might as well not mess with a good thing. Flavor, affordability, and “if I wouldn’t make it at home” is what I look for when eating out, so it’s a yes for me.

"Hello, my name is Nikki, and it is my pleasure to be your server this afternoon.". Wow, what a great way to begin our first visit to Bluefin. But, incredibly, it just got better. The coconut encrusted haddock and chicken avocado wrap were both spectacular. Even the sides, rice and asparagus, were perfect. Someone in their kitchen really knows what they are doing! But great food alone doesn't make a perfect meal, it must be coupled with service, and Nikki did not disappoint! From several trips to refill drinks and water for our puppy to bagging up our leftovers we felt like we were regulars. Can't wait to go back. Thank you, Nikki.

Very attentive service. Richard was our server. Got the deep fried haddock and 3 spears of asparagus. The bread was great. I wish these Fancy Pants restaurants would have non-alcoholic beverage options besides soft drinks for the demographic that do not consume alcohol and avoid soft drinks. I did not see any mocktails on the menu, for example. I would have considered ordering a mixed drink without alcohol had the option been listed.

Can I give 6 stars for food and service? First, our server, Laura was spectacular and available for what we asked of her. Her personality and knowledge of the restaurant is a plus. The food was delicious and they make it hard to stop eating when you know that you have had enough. This one goes on the favorites list.
