The food was good biscuits overdone and when we asked for some new biscuits was told it would take at least 20 minutes to cook some new. We told her to just skip it. She didn't bother to pick up the hard biscuits. I made a joke with my friend and suggested that we could use them to play table hockey.lol The server just seemed to be floating on a cloud. She forgot several things throughout the meal that it became a joke. When either of us would ask for something we would bet a quater if she would remember or we would have to ask again he owed me 5$ by the end of the meal. Lol which I left for the server because I believe everyone deserves a second or even a third chance. Life is hard and waiting tables is even harder.

awful service, manager was completely incompetent, miss the old staff. ONE STAR

Curbside Pickup! Called to alert parked! Attendant stated they be right out! Sat there and Watched multiple employees congregating, including Manager. Ended up going inside after waiting for several minutes. Walked inside to see my food sitting on a carryout shelf. Attendant handed me my food with no apologies for the wait. Employees still congrating & chitchatting as if this was normal practice. Food was great yet Customer Service doesn't match!!

08/19/24 I suppose I've been eating meals here down on the farm for so many years from Virginia to Florida and it's always been consistently good or better. Thank You. Service is above even some bigger chain food places and I'm always able to tip good for it. The dinner rolls are classically made yeast rolls and super surprised at how well the Steak is made here. 9/8/2016 Here again and still great service and Awesome food. 7/17/2023 Still love the pot roast sandwich. 12/27/2023 Pot Roast Sandwich yum again

Food is decent, nothing special, but not bad. My daughter got a kids' meal. Honestly the kids' meals are an awesome deal- they come with milk or juice and options for dessert. My daughter got the fruit cup and it was a generous portion which we loved because my daughter is a berry gobblin. The service was good, but not outstanding. I enjoyed that the restaurant wasn't busy and my daughter and I could have a quiet little mother/daughter date without much hassle. We'll be back again because it served our needs for an inexpensive way to get a special treat with my little girl.

Put in a order over the phone ...got there an still waited 30 more minutes with people saying I will be with you in a minute finally some dude walks in off the street raising hell an then they noticed us waiting.. food was cold tasted horrible ...maybe I caught them on a bad day but it was definitely not worth the wait or the price

Pleasant experience at Bob Evan’s . Jonah was very kind and courteous young man . He does from what I saw many things at the restaurant. The manager should be very proud to have such a hard working polite young man there!

No one came back to see what was needed 2 time had to go for help.

We went to Bob Evans to get a hot meal, some workers eye balling us and before we even got our waitress. When we got our food workers eye balling us and laughing. After my dad heard some coughing in the kitchen, my dad said I hope they don't cough in my food. People were laughing. Then we got our food it luke warm turkey, stuffing was hard and fork would not go through it. We told our waitress she tried to fix it. When plate came back mash potatoes were hot, turkey was still not hot, and stuffing was still hard. So the waitress says, what's wrong with your food? I told her why don't you asked your coworkers that are back there laughing at us? She says they are just back there having fun laughing. And shrugs it off. So then she sees we aren't eating the food and then she tells us, since your mad at me and I can't make this right, you don't have to pay for it. We were going to pay but we wasn't happy with microwaved food. Then we go to leave and one of the coworkers that was hiding a smirk on her face says have a good night! I am so surprised that I had to write about this experience, Bob Evans usually does a superior job. I have eaten at Bob Evans more than twenty times and never had a complaint until now. Please don't microwave food make it fresh do better!!!! As my dad was complaining about his food , people were smirking and laughing too like they found it hilarious to mess with someone else's food.

We were regular customers, but it has changed. Had gotten food poisoning. We gave it another chance tonight it was a to go order ;the Turkey was like a hard hockey puck! Hardly and portion size for the money we paid. Salad was wilted and just a few strips of chicken. They also forgot our orders of banana bread. No wonder why there are no customers in the parking lot!! Will not be going back! !

Went to Bob Evans this morning for breakfast. Took us about 10 minutes to be seated. Ordered our food and it took at least more than a half hour to an hour to get our food. Food was great but slow service.

Seated right away. Drinks came quick. Food was great.

I placed an order for pickup. When I arrived my order wasn’t ready but I got there about 15 minutes before it was supposed to be ready. The gentleman behind the counter asked my name and checked on the status of my order. He let me know it wouldn’t be but a couple more minutes that the grill was just a little behind and apologized for the wait. After a couple minutes he brought me my order and thanked me for being so patient. It was still 10 minutes before the time given. As I’m heading home I receive a phone call from Bob Evan’s. It was the same gentleman from behind the counter. He called to let me know that he forgot to put something in my bag and while apologizing asked if I could come back to pick up the rest of my order. It wasn’t a problem, I left from there only a few minutes ago, so I went back. I could see he was sincere with his apologies, mistakes happen. He thanked me for being understanding and gave my daughter an extra loaf of banana bread for our trouble. It’s been a rough week for me but he really made my day. Thank you!

It's a great atmosphere service is excellent food is pretty good I mean my onions couldn't have been a little bit less I'll tell you what this is a great place to eat and this might be our new breakfast spot for me and the kid.

Came here for father's day breakfast, pleasantly surprised it wasn't crowded. We sat for about 40 minutes before we got any acknowledgement from our server. Our server was a older lady, I think her name was Anne. Very inattentive, had to ask us several times to repeat our orders, after ordering she forgot the drinks so at this point we are here about an hour no drink, when she finally brought them the food came out. Then we had to ask twice for refills, because she kept forgetting... brought my dad here for father's day and he loves to sit and sip on coffee but he didn't get too. Food was good, server not so much.

Debbie was my waitress and very attentive and friendly. Food came out quickly and hot, and very tasty. The restaurant itself was clean and tidy. Definitely will be going back.

The food was decent and would have been better if I got my whole order the first time or even the second time. they called me to confirm the order and still somehow managed not to give me three items along with forgetting part of my breakfast meats in my combos. now I'm expected to wait another 15 to 20 minutes to get the food that they should have had in my bag in the first place. typically I'm not an angry customer but this one definitely got me mad; The management really needs to get on their team about this type of service.

This food taste like it came straight from the freezer and straight to my plate. It was so cold. My ball started shivering. I never coming back to this place. I’d rather take my money to Burger King and get a buttery soft croissant sandwich with a sausage and cheese disc laid out right in the middle for me to insert into my mouth and enter orgasm town . This is really lacking. I would never come back here. Bob Evans is trying to steal your money with some fake food that will end up making you suffer From long-term erectile dysfunction

2 eggs, home fries, bacon, and sourdough toast was great! On another note, be careful when you leave. I was headed to the intersection to go right and hit a pothole. My tire went flat and had a hole in the side. I had to buy a new tire.

I'm on Social Security and your $8 meals are helpful to a lean budget. AND they are a really good meal for that price!

We received exceptional service today from a lady training, and the trainee was awesome as well! Great food!

There was a hair in our food but the head waitress took it off our bill then the next time the ham and cheese omelet was horrible so again the head waitress took it off our bill but still we went there to eat and it was always good but idk what happened

Its a cozy country restaurant. Our food was pretty good, with the right cook though it couldve been absolutely outstanding. It was still pretty good though. The front entrance/bathroom area smells awful like wet dog… Our bill wasnt as bad as i thought it would be. Overall satisfied.

Good place to take kids. Kids eat free on Tuesdays.

Ordered take out, they messed up the whole order, burnt ingredients, missing ingredients, small portions, they remade the order and was still missing ingredients, the order was better than the first order but still barely satisfactory, this was our option over Denny's or IHOP, but guess we'll be doing the latter from now on.

DISGUSTING, this place was good when they first opened, the place is filthy you can smell the filth when you first walk in and the gravy is always watered down to much it has no flavor. Food is awful, even their bread is always old and so very dry. Wouldn’t waste my money on this place. You even tell the manager the problem and they want to argue with you. They are lazy and in denial!

Came here last weekend with my family. Took a second to be seated. Then it took a lot longer for everything else. I don't like being rude about employees, but the server we had was a total ditz. My mom's boyfriend was doing the over the top sarcastic back handed compliments with her the whole time. We put our drink orders in, which took a bit to get back. Then when we were ready to order food, she only put my kids orders in and ran off and started taking other customers orders while we were left in confusion as to why we hadn't been able to place ours at the same time. Also, PLEASE train your servers on what GLUTEN FREE means. I asked her if they had anything that was, and she said, "what's gluten free?" I can't make this up. I ended up ordering a salad with grilled chicken and Italian dressing. My daughter had pancakes with eggs and asked for sausage, but they still gave her bacon. She never came back with the check, so we ended up walking to the front to pay. Probably won't be back for sit down again. My grandmother ordered their food to go for Easter dinner, and I do have to say that what food I was able to eat, was very delicious. It was Turkey, Ham, Mashed potatoes, green beans, and corn. Hopefully some day Bob Evans will offer Gluten Free options. I love dinner rolls and hate that I have to miss out.

As much as I enjoy Bob Evan’s, I feel they’ve been slacking. This is the second time I’ve order the Southwest Avocado Omelet and the Cilantro Lime Sauce is missing. This is my favorite part and without it the omelet is bland.

Get the dinner bell specials. A nice comfort meal at a reasonable price.

I went with my family and the food was way overcooked. Double fries portion was skimpy. I had to ask for more to equate just a single portion. Home fries were burnt. Fish was burnt. Mashed potatoes were cold. Soup was exceptionally thick and barely warm. Country gravy was watery. Fish was too greasy. Had to repeatedly ask for the same things we needed. Fried chicken breast was burnt. Absolutely ridiculous. They're lucky I'm even giving them one star

Great food with large helpings for very reasonable prices

Very disappointed in their service. I ordered 15 items for delivery directly from their website and they use DoorDash to deliver. That’s no problem but the driver only brought 1 of the 3 bags. When I called Bob Evans they had me on hold 3 different times for 15 minutes and said I needed to call DoorDash myself. I didn’t order through DoorDash. Then the Assistant Manger asked if I could just come get it??!! I paid delivery fees and a $15 tip for less than 2 miles. Assistant Manager said she would call me right back…she didn’t. DoorDash texted me and said they were going back to get it and kept in touch. A hour later, cold food…very disappointed in Bob Evans service.

I purchased blueberry hotcakes yesterday afternoon around 5:30-6:15 After eating them later that night about 9:30, 10 I started having pains in my stomach, I went to bed feeling nauseated, only to awake at 2 am vomiting and diarrhea, back and forth to the bathroom all night vomiting and diarrhea, I know it was those pancakes cause I ate nothing else that day, as i fast from meat on Wednesdays. They need check expiration dates and as I'm typing this now the next day at 8:49 I'm still throwing up and diarrhea. I won't be back there, that's fore sure.

Cold food, all of it! 5 orders.

The food was okay, but it is hard to mess up breakfast, and the service was not great. Waited for someone to seat us. The first person didn't know what he was doing. He walked off without seating us. The waiter was good at first but went downhill. He brought our food in a timely manner. I asked for butter for my wife's pancakes and my biscuits. He never brought it. He never came back to check on us until he saw we were ready to leave. We haven't been there in about a year due to the service. I doubt we will be back.

It took 24 minutes, after being sat at the table and after I asked the front employees to send someone to the table, for the waitress to come ask what we wanted to drink. She came back over 10 mins after that and said "oh I see he didn't bring your drinks". The food took a while too. Dining area only half full. Employees were arguing with each other behind the counter and just standing there when tables weren't waited on. Never again. This location needs help.

We ate an early supper and took advantage of a quieter time to eat our meals. Everything was fantastic. Our hostess wore a couple of other jobs...... She seated us, she was our waitress, and she checked us out when we were ready to go. By the way, she did an excellent job and didn't complain about covering multiple roles! Great attitude! I'm especially impressed to see someone who can step up to the plate and be helpful without having to complain about it!! Everyone has been in that same situation. Her response to a problem as a solution, rather than a reaction to having to do more, made me glad we chose to eat here! It didn't happen, but if, as an example, the a/c wasn't working and you were about to sweat while eating..... her attitude would make you want to also bear a part of what she's having to do! I hope to meet others that can meet her dedication!! Thank you!

I ordered the Premium farmhouse feast for our Christmas dinner at the Bob Evans at 6425 S Florida Ave. Lakeland Florida I was picking it up on Dec24 at 6 pm. I called them on the 23rd to verify my order. When my husband went in to pick up they had no order ready. While waiting for them to get it together they informed him they had no more pumpkin pies and no rolls. They gave us biscuits and a berry pie which we didn’t want. He complained to manager about it not being ready and not having things we ordered. Manager told him let me check on it and never came back. When we got home and was unpacking it we were also missing pumpkin bread,mac and cheese,one and of the green beans. I paid a lot for a disappointing dinner with items missing. We have enjoyed eating at Bob Evans. After the way this was treated I don’t know if I will go back there for anything. Marjorie Fyffe

The three of us arrived at 3:30 pm. So we decided to order from the anytime breakfast side of their menu. The food took longer than it should have, and the food could have been hotter. I only say this because they weren't very busy at that time. Our server was very attentive, friendly, and professional. The prices were excellent. This was our first time eating at Bob's restaurant, and it won't be our last. 🍽

Service was subpar took awhile for someone to come get our drink order 🙃. After our drinks were taken and the food was served there were several items missing 🙃. The kids meals were missing their fruits and my wife's rancher potatoes were hard and cold terrible tasting. Getting refills for our drinks were a job in itself.

This Bob Evan's had been consistently good over the years. The building has been well maintained and the staff has always been friendly. If you like country breakfast this is your place.

My family and I (family of 4) walked in right before 8 p.m for a late dinner. 4 employees were visible to us however we weren’t greeted or helped. They stared at us and continued talking. When one young man came to seat us he apologized then tried to seat us. As we were walking through every table was dirty. The whole place had 4 seated tables it wasn’t busy at all. Very sad to see such a good establishment provide such terrible customer service. We took our business elsewhere down the street.

I've lived next to this thing for like 9 years now, never been until now. It's pretty great for the price.

The food was horrible overcooked and unappealing. The service was very nice but unclean, I couldn't use the salt because it was wet and service didn't seem to care. Never will I dine here again.

Always a favorite spot! Food prep, texture, and flavor has always been perfect and some. The service and atmosphere is always on par. Even, when it's been a while between visits. The time and space between service visits are spaced out perfectly. I always visit during slower times. Just as any restaurants, or other establishments I visit. The perfect quantity of food every time! I love butter, and never finish what is provided for the banana bread! 😊

Food was good. It was a little warm when I got home but could have stood a little more heating. Plus, I like my broccoli soft, and theirs was just barely steamed. Personal preference I didn't ask for soft broccoli, so not their fault.

This morning, my family and I visited Bob Evans. The waitress promptly took our drink and food orders and brought our drinks in a timely manner. However, the service deteriorated from there. Despite passing by us multiple times and noticing our empty coffee and juice cups, she didn't offer refills. We waited for an hour for our breakfast order, which never arrived. In contrast, people who arrived later than us were served, ate, and left while we were left waiting. Throughout this time, our waitress never checked in on us, informed us about the status of our food, or offered refills. When we expressed our frustration and desire to leave, she casually informed the manager without offering any apology. The manager later apologized and offered a free meal to make amends, but our disappointment with the waitress's lack of care had already soured the experience. We declined the offer and decided to leave. This incident has significantly impacted my perception of this Bob Evans location, and I'm now hesitant to return. After leaving Bob Evans disappointed, we decided to eat lunch at Longhorns instead and had a positive experience with excellent service, prompting me to leave a generous tip for the waitress who served us. It's unfortunate that the same level of treatment wasn't extended to us at Bob Evans.

Had the fresh strawberry french toast with bacon. They brought 4 strips out, was too much for me. Everything was yummy

Great food! Great price! Take out was great! Had chicken strips. Mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, stuffing, chicken noodle soup waa amazing! Ordered three times! Great home cooked meal! Country fried steak great!

The food is ok. No real seasoning going on in that kitchen but if your stomach is giving you problems and you just need something basic, this is the place to go.

Went for lunch on 7-22 we were seated, no contact for approx 5 mins, a waitress walked by and said she would be with us in a minute. 5 mins later still no contact, not even a class of water. She was taking orders of people who came in after us. So we left. The Bob Evans on the Northside is much better!! They got 5 stars from me! Will never go back!!

This was my first time visiting Bob Evans. The waitress was rude and lacked customer service skills. The hostess sets the tone for the customer experience. After informing the manager, I learned that this same employee had exhibited the same behavior before. I will never dine here again.

They have very good food but the service sucks that is the only reason why I am giving it a one star. If you even try to call in a to go order they put you on hold in hopes that you hang up. When they do pick up it sounds like you are bothering them. Make sure you check everything because god forgive if they forgot something and you have to call back they put you back on hold for the manager who makes you wait who never answers the phone makes you wait for over 20 minutes your food is now cold rolls are stale tasting. We will not go back to this bob evans it’s a shame we enjoyed the food.

We stopped in for breakfast. The waitress was unbelievably absent minded. Couldn't remember anything . Three times , I got the attention of the bus boy and he was very attentive. Also the pancakes were raw in the middle. The bus boy got a $10.00 tip for salvaging the experience He should be promoted to mgr . Went to Denny's the next day ,it was great.

Things were moving pretty darn slow the day we visited, from being waited on to getting food. Salad was fresh and good, wasn't expecting French dip to arrive with gravy instead of AuJus. Personally, didn't like it.

Love Bob Evans food whenever we come back to the East Coast we always stop and eat at Bob Evans.

Everytime we go there they are out of more and more menu items. The staff always seems tired. It appears the food quality is continually slipping lower and lower. The dining room was clean.
