I’ve been going to all three of the Britton locations since moving to Hanover and they are all fantastic! Great service, great staff and great family atmosphere. (Whoever makes their playlists has a FIRE taste in music)

My husband and I have been enjoying coming here since we moved to Hanover in the winter. We love all the delicious drinks, donuts and breakfast sandwiches.

Britton has been an awesome addition to the local landscape, with creative, well made drinks, quality food, and a fun country road side feel, it's the perfect way to start a morning. I rated the service down ONLY because it is uneven, while most of the time the staff is friendly and professional, they are universally young and sometimes their frustration with customers comes through.

Super chill coffee house. Great pastries and great coffee drinks they even have hibiscus tea.

I picked up a large 'Tuxedo' Mocha from their Drive Through today, and it was DELICIOUS!! It had 3 shots of Espresso, 2 pumps of Mocha, and 2 pumps of white mocha. It was better than Starbucks and cheaper to boot. However, their drive-thru is not particularly fast. They don't have an ordering kiosk, so you can't order your drink until you're at the window ... Which means their friendly staff doesn't start making your drink until you're at the window. If you're in a hurry, this may not be the location for you. They also don't have a variety of beans or roasts. You're not going to find any Ethiopian Espresso Roast, Sumatran French Roast, or Blue Mountain Blonde coffees here, but their drinks are based on a well-balanced, flavorful blend that still packs a strong coffee punch. I liked it well enough to call this my new Favorite coffee shop in Hanover. 😁

If I could I would say 3.5 stars. Our baked goods were yummy in the tummy. Our drinks not so much, a little too heavy on the sweet side. Will visit again and try something different for the coffee or tea craving.

Great coffee, fantastic service, and a welcoming atmosphere! I stopped by on Monday afternoon. The two baristas were friendly, efficient, and patients as I made up my mind! I ended up having two coffee drinks and reading while sitting in a very comfortable chair. Looking forward to my next visit!

I have been following this small coffee shop for over a year on social media and finally got the opportunity to stop in! I live over 2 hours away, but the trip was more than worth it! My husband and I take every car trip as an opportunity to try small business places and this was an incredible stop! The iced coffee was delicious and had a balanced sweetness and espresso flavor. We both ordered a pre-made/ready to eat bagel sandwich. It was remarkable! The garlic cream cheese spread absolutely made this sandwich! The boys devoured their in-house made donuts and immediately asked for more, to which we obliged and got one for ourselves too! I highly recommend you stopping in if you’re traveling through or even near the area!

Overall the place was clean and the staff were friendly. The latte with oatmilk was a 4 out of 5, cappuccino with 2% milk was a 4 out of 5, and the oreo cold foam was a 4 out of 5. The place was clean but was lacking decor. It felt a little bland inside but overall a decent coffee house in South Hanover. We would definitely go again.

Have been there numerous times only thru the drive thru and love their coffee but today had some extra time so went in. It was not what I thought to be. It could have been cleaner in my opinion and the person who waited on me did not have the most pleasant appeal. I will however go back for their coffee but will stick to the drive thru.

My fiancé and I got two caramel macchiato’s the other week that were truly thee best I’ve ever had! 10/10 on the flavor and an absolute 10/10 on service. We had our very active toddler running all over and were reassured that he was just fine to be himself, while also receiving some donut stickers for him to take home. We also picked up a cranberry granola bar that was perfectly made and our son loved it too! I was happy to see the option of purchasing a small apple juice for him as well as other little snacks they have to chose from aside from their own baked goods. We look forward to our next trip out!

This is a nice place for great coffee, and a nice atmosphere for reading, a book club, and even for children. It is a very nice and laid-back feel. I recommend this place to anyone looking for good coffee. They also have breakfast sandwiches they make fresh when you order it. The staff's also very nice and helpful.

Bagels were good! White chocolate mocha (cold) is delicious and caramel macchiato was not bad.

Only been here a handful of times, but great experience every time. The people are nice and the coffee is good. Very nice local small business. 10/10 recommend!

The donut was delicious. There seemed to be a wide variety of coffee drinks, all reasonably priced. I came late in the morning so I'm not sure what is usually available as far as pastries to go with the coffee or breakfast sandwiches.

It's a nice great coffee shop! The atmosphere is great! I like the location of it! It gives off great vibes! They're very friendly and welcoming! The donuts are delicious and their coffee is great! You also get a nice area to do work. I have come here 4x now and it keeps getting better! I wish I lived closer, I would be here everyday!

My wife and I love going there for coffee and boardgames. The donuts are fresh everyday and are absolutely delicious. We went yesterday and I got the hot snickerdoodle latte while she got an iced pumpkin latte (I think) with a pumpkin cold foam, and they were both great (and I don't usually like cold coffee). The music they play is a jam and sometimes an employee will hop on the piano they have there and play along to whatever song is playing. Would highly recommend stopping in.

One of Hanover’s best businesses. Service, food, and atmosphere is consistently excellent across all locations. Communication about events, feature items, and things happening around the shop are always readily available on Britton’s well-kept social media. It is so valuable for Hanover to have a productive, positive place for people to spend time that doesn’t involve drugs/alcohol. This is important because it gives the kids somewhere to spend time after school, a place for students to study, and others to spend time enjoying each other’s company in an inviting atmosphere. I cannot emphasize enough how important it is for the community that Britton is open until 6:00 PM on most days and how well-run this business has been from its beginnings as a renovated horse trailer!

My carmel frap with a shot of espresso was yummy 😋, and the homemade peanutbutter chocolate 🍩 is out of this world 🌎 on 9/5/23. I will go back this week.

The donut I got tasted not that great. Cookie dough. The inside was like then inside of a dinner roll. Bleh!

A little slice of heaven right in Hanover. A true gem for anyone who loves quality coffee, amazing food and (seriously) the best atmosphere on the east coast. They make everyone feel so welcomed - I feel like I’m part of their family! Also, pork roll, egg and cheese on a bagel is NJ people approved (this is a huge deal iykyk)! Also also, SUPER kid friendly. We love bringing our boys here!

Quick drive thru stop today, service at drive thru is faster than getting back on the road south bound on Baltimore Pike. Prices are fantastic and coffee ☕ excellent 👌, They even have Heavy Whipping Cream that meets my KETO Lifestyle . Watch the sunrise at the nearby lake and stop for coffee on way down 30/94. Depends if you use the Pa number or Maryland road number.

The iced latte was delicious. Well pulled shot from a quality coffee that wasn't roasted to charcoal. Scooped up a bag of the whole bean coffee to brew some myself later.

Absolutely excellent place. Coffee is delicious. The owners are so kind and hardworking. They make everyone feel like part of a big family. Quality food, quality service. This place is one of a kind! I go out of my way to go here above any other coffee or food shop.

Drove almost an hour to try this place. Sooo worth it!!!! If I lived closer i'd be here everyday! praying for a 3rd location to open closer to me! but will definitly make that drive again!!! soo good.

The worst thing about Britton is how far from my house they are. But when I’m in the neighborhood I stop by. Fun environment! Staff is friendly! Drinks always taste amazing! I hate getting a drink from somewhere else, get out of the drive thru to realize it tastes terrible. 10000% not the case at Britton.

Love this place, super cute little local coffee shop <3 really amazing coffee, I love their lattes and frappes! The strawberry shortcake frappe is just amazing <333 super friendly staff, kind and inviting atmosphere, a play kitchen for the kids to play 🥹 (very kid friendly!!), a fireplace, a guitar for whoever to play, plenty of seating. Bob Ross on the TV and gentle music playing over the speakers. ***Wheelchair accessible!!!*** and lots of parking. Lots of menu options that are always changing. Love the vibes & love the food & drink :) usually pretty busy with customers (for good reason!!) but staff are quick and you never wait long! I go here almost every day now <3333

Just stopped quickly coming out of Hanover back to MD. Had a simple iced latte decaf 1 pump vanilla they happily made it. The dive thru service was fast and easy back on the in a jiffy

I think Britton has established itself as a third space in the community. You come here, not for the drinks or food, but for the space. The space itself is cute, trendy, and comfortable. The atmosphere is friendly and slightly chaotic. Definitely not the kind of quiet place to sip coffee and work. It’s more about bringing your kids here to run around while you sip coffee with your friends. (Not an exaggeration. I have literally witnessed kids playing ball.) I think that kind of space is totally needed, and it’s great that they welcome kids; just be aware, if you’re looking for a quiet, coffee shop vibe, this is not it. As I’ve mentioned in my past reviews, the coffee is not good and always tastes watered down. I think the old baristas in the horse trailer made good drinks and cared about coffee, but I don’t really sense anyone is passionate about that now. The drinks are on par with any fast food espresso drink. (Starbucks being a step above this.) My personal preference is an iced lavender latte, which is a solid and has been a staple here from the beginning. Definitely steer clear of any of the hot coffee drinks or anything unflavored as it just tastes watered down. With the exception of the donuts and sandwiches, all the food is pre-packaged or made by other local businesses. I’m personally not a fan of their donuts, but I know others are. Every time I’ve tried them, they’ve been too oily/greasy for my liking. My favorite food items are the granola bars and muffins, which are from Ikigai. Overall, I was more of a fan when they first started out, as I felt like there were people working here who cared about bringing unique food and drink offerings to Hanover. Now, I think they’ve transitioned and found their place as a family space in Hanover… and I get it. I think Britton is the 2020s version of the McDonalds PlayPlace, appealing to millennial moms who love Joanna Gaines’ style. You’re not coming here for the good food and drinks, you’re coming here so your kids can have fun while you take a few moments to be an adult. It’s not for me, but I know there are plenty in the community who appreciate it’s here! As always, I’ll continue to visit and update my reviews. I’m looking forward to trying their new location in McSherrystown.
