Fantastic wings , great service , great food .

Waitress was great. She was busy inside and outside but attentive. The food was below average. I've been here a few times before. Best ever chicken sandwich was beat so flat before it was breaded that it was stringy and mostly breading.The wings were good.The short ribs were not good at all. My wife sent them back. I tried them and I would've paid for them and took them home but ya they weren't good. First time I have been dissatisfied here. Beer was excellent as always.

Best brew pub in the Northeast! Their food specials are always great. They use mainly locally sourced meats and veggies. One of a kind.

Go! Go twice if you’re in the area ! We did !! While vacationing in the area we sought out this neat brewery and glad we did ! First trip revealed a friendly and relaxed atmosphere with great service We sat at the bar both times and were greeted with pleasant and efficient staff First visit we devoured THAI CHICKEN TACOS and the POLISH PLATE-several napkins later we were gastronomically satisfied Washed it all down with a Cherry Razz On our second visit within 72 hours we ordered the Fish and Chips and a New York Strip I have to say this was one of the best steaks I have ever had Cooked to absolute perfection ! The Fish and Chips were very tasty and a good sized portion We ordered the Oatmeal Stout Pretzels to go for a snack later and glad we did Carrot cake to end the visit and you had to roll me to the car Overall a really neat place with great services and even better food and drink !

Me and the Wife came here after a day of Kayaking and the food was great, the beer was fresh and delicious. The service for a brewery was spot on they make it a fine dining experience for sure. It was so cool to eat in an old factory that sits right along the river with great views. I had the fish & chips with a good tartar sauce and my wife had pulled pork quesadillas which they gave you generous portions of, the chips & guac was awesome. We had some good onion rings as well with a cherry pepper aioli and we also got some cornbread with Maple butter. It all tasted great and the service from all the waiters was fantastic. We will be coming back again soon!

Stopped by for a quick beer. Love that they fixed up the old factory. Right on the river. Very scenic.

Robert at the bar is so friendly, helpful, and attentive. His kind of service definitely keeps me coming back. I also think the food is really good and affordable. Great menu selections. I love the solos (their version of hard seltzer) and I am very hopeful that they will continue making a version since I am not able to have beer.

Awesome restaurant. It is worth the trip to North Hoosic. Trust me, the beer is always good, but the food and restaurant concept is better. I took my 9 year old and we had a great time (no beer this time). Great staff as well.

We had a fantastic time. It's a really nice space with lots of sunshine. Food and service (thank you Oliver!) both great. Can't wait to go back in the summer and sit outside. And really good beer also! Bravo guys!

The meals that we had were spectacular. The views alone from the dining room are worth 5 stars by themselves. It is off the beaten path and a small drive to get to, but it was well worth it. My polish platter was delicious, and the wifes mac and cheese was really good too. Couple all this with Browns classic brews and it was a 6 out of 5 stars. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for an amazing night out.

First experience there, I received an order for vegetarian labeled cauliflower that the staff later admitted was fried in calamari oil. They also are inconsistent with when they close their kitchen, which they claim to be at 8:45

Went tonight as I heard Christina was going to be there. She is the best. Friendly and remembers you whenever you come in. When the owner of our company visits, he wants to go to Browns when Christina is there. The service was great- the food was good. She makes you feel like you are the most important person there. I will be there whenever she is there.

Baked haddock with crab was wonderful. The salted chocolate ganache cake was the best way to top it off. Christina was a fantastic server and the evening was delightful.

Great beer, delicious food, and a fun atmosphere. What more can you ask for? I really appreciate their non-alcoholic beers (Guinness & Heineken) which are truly 0.0%.

We dined as a couple on a Friday night. We were seated promptly, despite there being live music. Service was also very prompt, and our server was very attentive. The food and beers came remarkably quickly! The beers were, as always, excellent, and thr food was very good. One of us got a special and one, a menu staple, and we were both satisfied with quality as well as quantity.

Called in to place a lunch order for our office (7 meals) - placed a call at 11:30; was advised I need to call back as the kitchen is still setting up and needs to "check the boxes." Asked if an order could be placed over the phone at that time for a pick up at 12:30 and still was told to call back after noon. Why is the telephone being answered? Are corporate orders not important to the business? While the gentleman who answered the phone was pleasant enough it is not the best customer service and makes me wonder if I really want to place an order with this establishment.

Excellent burger! Cooked perfectly, Delicious really. Good pretzel, needs a choice of dips other than 2 mustards. Server didn't put in originally didn't hear me order it, so I asked her and she was able to get one quickly came out nice and hot. 3 pretzels, good size servings. Host is not friendly, seem disgruntled when I wanted to change tables from next to the restroom..... Didn't tell the server she had oir table either until the people next to us already had their drinks that came in after us. That stuff really bothers me when I'm spending money. That being said good atmosphere, nice music no TVs so that's a change which is pleasant, decent crowd for a Sunday afternoon, picturesque area. Was here years ago and did the tour. Recommend and would revisit.

Shared some wings + the Best Ever Chicken Sandwich and I have to say, I can’t wait to come back… wow.

Second time at the Walloomsac Taproom. Companion and I shared a plate of nachos with turkey chili--BIG plate and you really should have at least three or four people to share this with. Delicious and served with three different toppings (sour cream, a red taco sauce, guac). We ordered two different beers, a Joann and a Double Continuum. The former is a lighter but still quite hoppy IPA and the latter is simply one of the best, hoppiest IPAs I've ever had. It was like drinking a garden full of citrus fruit with a load of grapefruit. Delish. They had a duo playing some bluegrass (mandolin and guitar) and it was quite good and entertaining. Great spot by the river and would be very nice in the summer outside.

Cool place in a beautiful location. The industrial theme is nicely in keeping with the building’s history. The servers are excellent, and food portions very plentiful and tasty.

A great brewery in a picturesque location. I had a meatloaf sandwich and fries. Best meatloaf sandwich I've ever had, and I love meatloaf. The fries were excellent as well and the Oatmeal stout hit the spot. Will be back soon.

First time here right when they opened. Filled up quick. Waiter quick to serve. Food out fast. More than enough to eat. Only had the Oatmeal Stout so cannot comment on rest of selection.

It's a gem in the area just a beautiful location We had an excellent lunch there today. Friendly people and great service. It's a nice scenic location. Food was excellent and good size portions. craft beers to go. The building has interesting history.. Check this place out enjoy.

Great food at a nice upscale brew pub. Beer was great - particularly the Joann IPA, anniversary golden ale, and pale ale. It's often a gamble to order a healthy option at a brew pub but the power bowl (with steak) was excellent both in terms of quality and quantity. Definitely going back.

My kiddo and I really enjoy Brown's, especially in good weather when they have outdoor seating. On our last visit we got the loaded fries, tomato mushroom bisque soup, a Reuben sandwich and desserts. Everything was excellent. Service is casual but attentive. Atmosphere is comfortable in a very cool building. I especially loved the loaded fries with garlic aioli. Prices are fair given the portions and what we have come to expect with the recent inflation.

Was there last night around 6 very crowded.the waitress came over promptly and took our drink order. Than came promptly back with drinks and took our dinner order which came out quickly.this is the first pleasant experience I had at a restaurant in years . A hidden gem in the middle of a little town. This place is fantastic: the ambiance, the food and drinks, and the warm and friendly service! Highly recommend.

Being a regular at Brown's Troy tap-room this was our first time at the Hoosick Falls location. Not disappointing but not as imagined. Beers were cold and apps tasted fine. Got to meet Rosie the brewery cat, that right there adds 1/2 a star to the ranking.

Fried apps were over fried but just ok . Chicken was dry. Service was ok until it came to dessert had to wait at least 20-30 min & was ready to find waitress& get our bill. Finally waitress came over & said kitchen was busy ???then we decided to cancel dessert. ..then a few minutes later dessert came out.Also had to wait at length for check & finally finish paying bill. It seems lately food & service isn't what we're used to at Browns!!

Haven’t been there in at least 6months. We ordered pints and they were delivered an 1”1/2 from the top. My daughters order was forgotten. I brought a metal growler to be filled when I got home and opened it I found it 2/3 full. $17 for less than 3 pints . Won’t be back.

I'll start with the good, beer was amazing, and service was really top notch. The loaded fries with the garlic sauce was insanely good. Pretzels were great, and the fact there was no extra salt was honestly a plus, both sauces were good. French onion soup was so so, a bit on the salty side, but still better then most I've had. Now the bad, the bathroom. I was hit with the smell soon as I walked in, and the amount of fruit flies was insane. Guys, amazing place, great food, just please clean the bathrooms a bit more.

This was probably my 6th visit here and it was the first time I was less than happy with my food. I ordered the battered fried cauliflower .the cauliflower was mushy, an unpleasant texture. I mentioned it to the server who apologized but said it was the last one left I thought that was odd because we were the the first customers there that afternoon. I think the dish suffered from being left over. My wings were salty, but that could be a plus for many people. The blueberry cobbler was outstanding and worth the trip. Do not let my comments deter you from going,as a whole it is definitely 4 stars. Went back today, 1dt since last year. Food was great even the cauliflower . STILL keeping at 4 stars......music too loud. Never understand the concept of music drowning out conversation.

Stayed away from Brown's for several months due to poor quality of food and inattentive and unfriendly customer service. Returned last weekend to discover a complete turn around. Beer, food and service were all excellent! The extensive menu has so many great choices and the whole atmosphere is inviting and friendly. We will definitely be back.

Brown's Brewing Company has an awesome atmosphere, decor and their Local Farm Burger with aioli oil is one of the best burgers in the area especially when you add bacon and cheese to it.

My wife, girlfriends and I were in the area for the weekend and searched for a brewery with a comfortable atmosphere. We had THE BEST TIME HERE. From the second we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and enthusiastic service. The food was out of this world yummy (get the wings, get the pretzels, get the pickles. We cannot stop talking about this food. The entrees looked very nice too, but we only had apps.) The beer was also excellent. (Larry’s Lager and the Joan were winners.) The bar itself was beautiful, overlooking a waterfall with an OTTER and an EAGLE swimming/flying around. Bathrooms were spotless. Lindsey, the manager, went above and beyond to make sure we had fun. She so obviously loves her work and the brewery, and it really shows. The whole staff seemed actually happy. The whole place had a happy vibe. I would return to this part of VT just to visit here again. Brown’s should name a beer after Lindsey!!!!

Stopped in for lunch, was happy to find all staff following COVID protocols, on top of being prompt polite and attentive. We tried the Fried Shrimp dinner and a fish fry. Shrimp was large but tender, fried in a light batter, really perfectly prepared. The fish was also lightly fried, no grease of any kind. The french fries reminded my mom of her younger years, with the actual potato skins on. She says she didn't intend to eat them all but could not stop, she wasn't leaving them, and thats pretty impressive. They had a good selection of beer including many dark beers and non-IPAs (yes!). I tried the Brown and the Whiskey Porter, which I enjoyed so much I got in a growler. I prefer this location over the troy location, and we drove about an hour to get here compared to the 10 mins it takes to get to troy. Bring your capital craft beverage trail passport and get a stamp while you're here, or ask for one at the bar if you don't have one yet. Cheers!

First visit yesterday & we had a late lunch in this fun restored mill along the river. Impressed with not just the building restoration & vibe but also yummy food & friendly, efficient staff. Looking forward to our next visit! Highly recommend! (And we don’t even drink beer!)

Excellent food I had a burger my wife had turkey wrap we were both pleased service was excellent. Our server was very helpful as it was our first visit and we are certainly going back again.

I loved this place. The location was a little out of the way, but well worth it considering the Walloomsac River runs right next to it. The outside seating was quiet and peaceful. The Green Goddess Pizza was unique and excellent, as were the Oatmeal Stout Short Ribs. We also had Fried Pickles and the Pretzel Plate. And the Me & You Raspberry Sour, yummy! Everything was delicious and worth the wait (service was really slow due to what we assumed was Covid-related). Our servers were excellent, though. I will definitely return.

Love the industrial look. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. Staff is working hard to keep up with the demands of a full house.

Amazing beers and an expansive menu of are on offer at this scenic brewery, situated inside a former factory on the banks of the walloomsac river. Great selection of appetizers, and everything from fantastic ribs, steaks, and burgers to vegan and vegetarian options. Highly recommended.

A fantastic meal, at least as good as the Troy location, but with even better scenery and ambience. They have an entire outside tent which is really nice, although you should call and make a reservation if you want to eat in the tent. The beers and food are excellent. I'm a huge fan of the pretzels with beer mustard as well as their pulled pork. I'll definitely be going here again.

I usually don't post reviews, but this place was amazing! The food was spectacular and the beers mighty tasty. AND the place is beautiful.

Horribly understaffed. Joe dirt kid bartender gave me a real bad attitude for coming to get drinks for my table after waiting 30 minutes without being asked for a drink order. I get it, no one wants to work, but I don't need attitude while spending over $150 for bar food. Get your staff in order.

New to the area and checked this place out last night. The property, area and ambience are unique and beautiful. The service was attentive even at a very busy hour. The appetizers were fantastic, the menu was full and interesting but not too large. We went with the grilled chicken gyro special with Greek tortellini salad, delicious. I tried a selection of their in house brewery offerings and all were very good. The star, by far, was their new Raspberry "Hard Seltzer". I am using the " " because I'm not a big hard seltzer and this didn't taste quite like a hard seltzer. It was, for sure, the best tasting micro brew product I've ever had and I've had...a few. Here's hoping it stays on the beverage menu!*

If you haven't checked put this place it's about time you should. The beer is amazing, got a flight and the Monolith sour/ipa was our fave! The pulled pork nachos were so good! Shared this and wings with my husband and we left with a to-go box, so much food! Only thing I can say bad about the experience was i wish the pork did not have BBQ on it but didn't ruin the meal

Nice place in an old factory building along the river. Wide variety of their own craft brews. Appetizers selection was great with hige portions. Their main dinner menu needs alot to desire. Need to not be trying to do some weird famcy food and just do good wholesome food. This is not N.Y. C .. other than that great atmosphere. Delightful staff. A must visit.
